Kodak Branded Smartphone Announced

Kodak unveiled its first Android smartphone at CES 2015. Tech Radar said the phone was ‘hardly show stealing’, while DP Review offered a scathing review, saying: “The Kodak IM5 is simply a nondescript, mid-tier Android smartphone with the Kodak name slapped on it in an attempt to attract customers who still associate the brand with quality and innovation.” The IM5 sports mid-range features including a 1.7 GHz octa-core processor, Android 4.4 KitKat and 8GB internal storage expandable to 32GB with a microSD. The main camera is 13MP and the front selfie camera is 5MP. It comes with its own app store called Apps, which apparently offers easy access to select applications tailored for the user.
