nowledgeable staff, premium customer service and a strong commitment to the London community have earned Audi London a large and loyal client base, says Faye Wang, the dealership’s new car sales manager. “We have always been a family-owned business and, as such, we truly care about our customers and have built a loyal following. Many clients have supported us for more than 20 years and have purchased numerous vehicles,” she says. “They refer friends and family.” Some of those customers began coming to Dalmar Motors, the Volkswagen dealership founded in 1953 by the Dalglish family. It began selling Audis in 1969 and eventually opened a separate franchise showroom and service centre for the luxury brand. Many patrons have been with Dalmar Motors for so long that their loyalty has been passed onto the younger generations, says Wang. The Audi dealership staff boasts a combined 30-plus years of experience and technicians are factory trained and certified by Audi, she says. Three of those staffers recently competed in the national finals of the company’s 2022 Audi Twin Cup technical and service performance challenge. Three technicians and one service advisor achieved Top 10 status nationally, and
shop foreman Mike Arbour took first place in the technician category. He will accompany the brand’s Team Canada to Germany this summer to take part in the international finals. Wang notes that the London company is an Audi Sport dealership, marketing and servicing RS-Audi Sport models. It also offers a selection of electric cars. “Not all dealerships are authorized to be electric, and Audi Sport specialized,” she says. Dalmar Motors and Audi London also take pride in sponsoring and participating in various community events. These include the 2022 London Run for Ovarian Cancer and the Highland Country Club Care for Kids Charity Classic. They also support the Middlesex branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association and London’s Pawlooza Dog Festival, which raises funds for ARF Ontario animal rescue, and LEADS Employment Services for people with disabilities. “It’s our way of paying back to the community and showing that we care,” Wang says. “We pride ourselves in being one of the oldest VW dealers in Canada and, because of the high standard of quality work by our devoted team of employees, we have been fortunate to continue to expand every year.”
