Storebo Farms offering is very deep with many different types of bulls yet all are thick and hairy. There is a large group of potential heifer bulls as well as some true power bulls. Whether you are after Fleck-Red-Black bulls you will be extremely pleased with what you find here.
Keet Simmentals has a very strong set of polled fleck bulls that are all non-dilutors. It truly impressed me how strong and uniform Brett and Naomi’s set of bulls looked on a balmy -35 morning in January. I was very impressed with the muscle shape and foot quality on this pen of bulls. There are some heifer bulls as well as some homo polled bulls in the group. This is possibly the quietest set of bulls I’ve been in all season.
Suter Silverado Simmentals has a great mix of power and calving ease in his group. Curtis has a couple power bulls with as much body length as you will find. These type will make you some calves that truly push the scale down. There is a cool polled Fleck bull that is very thick and as dark as you will find to check out as well.
Double R Simmentals has a nice group of red bulls on offer with lots of calving ease. Make sure you check them out and have a visit with Ryan.

Keet’s Matrix 19M has been one of my favorites. This Anchor D Raptor son has done very well. He was among the top weaning bull calves and has powered his way to being the heavyweight of the pen. He’s a Polled, long, deep and thick bull. Matrix’s dam, Keet’s Galiana 64G, is a good Rugged R Bellagio daughter. Out of her 3 calves, the 2 bulls have been in our bull sale and the heifer has been retained in our herd. Producing bulls the quality of Matrix will ensure her place in our herd for years to come.

Keet’s Mastodon 2M is like Keet’s Midas, a homozygous polled son of Raptor out of a Keet’s Dynamic cow, Keet’s Gwendolyn 26G. Keet’s Matador 11M leads off our Fairview Evolution 318H sons. His long body and dark red hair coat helped him stand out all year. Keet’s Merlin 9M is a well built, long bodied Evolution son. His full brother sold in this sale last year to Sevcik Simmental Ranch in Hussar, AB. Merlin is a lot like his brother. His dam, Keet’s Guinevere 63G, is working on her 4th calf as I write this, a ROD Shamrock heifer that is showing tremendous potential. Keet’s Mischief 39M is our only bull calf in this year’s sale out of a BEE Vortex 12A cow. The Vortex daughters have been good producing cows for us. Keet’s Merit 6M is another of my favorites this year. He’s got one of the longest bodies in the pen and he’s definitely the bull with the widest back. He’s extremely thick with a good hair coat. To top all those things off he has only an 86 lb birth weight and is the 2nd heaviest for yearling weight. We used his sire, FSS Polled Hendrix on some of our more powerful cows and we really liked the results. Merit’s dam has 4 daughters working in other herds and her last year’s bull calf went through this sale and was another bull purchased by Hunter Sattler from White City, SK.

Keet’s Maverick 1M is a flush brother to Keet’s Javelin 56J, a high selling bull we sold to Lakeview Simmentals. Maverick performed okay on his recipient mother, but has really turned it on since weaning. He’s a really long, thick bull. His Starwest Pol Blueprint dam, Keet’s Eibhlhin 15E, is really showing us good reasons for flushing her. She weaned off a heifer calf last fall at 931 lbs, almost 120 lbs heavier than the 2nd heaviest heifer.

This bull is out of one of my black cows I have on the place, but she is a very good producing cow with perfect udder. SSSR 1M is packed with tons of muscle making him my highest weaning calf ever by tipping the scale at 1020lbs August 31 (no creep). Look for this big soggy guy to add fast growth and length to his calves. His half brother sold down to South Dakota a few years ago.

I’ve been pretty pleased with this bull since day one. He is the type of bull that has the makeup that I’m trying to get my program to be like, moderate build, great feet, large testicle, dark red, thick through the middle and has a very modest birthweight of 82 lbs. His passport dam is proving herself to be the top cow at my place, which is the reason she will be flushed this spring. I would like to reserve the right to draw semen of this bull for in herd use only.

A bull that is a nice complete bull that moves out nicely and carries himself with ease. He’s one of the younger bulls but it’s not slowing him down at all.
Terms and Conditions
TERMS - The terms of the sale are cash, cheque, e-transfer, or wire and are due at the time of sale, unless other arrangements have been made between buyer and seller prior to the sale. Transcon reserves the right to charge interest at a rate of 2% per month on overdue accounts. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement is made. Transcon Livestock Corp. reserves the right to require a certified cheque as settlement before releasing any sale cattle. Should any purchaser fail to settle for their purchase Transcon Livestock Corp. reserves full power to resell the animal to the best advantage either publicly or privately, without further notice. Any loss arising from such resale together with keep and all other expenses shall be payable by the defaulter. All settlements must be made with the clerks of the sale before any cattle will be released. Transcon Livestock Corp and/or the Auctioneer shall have the right to refuse bids from anyone who has a previous record of default in payment or who has not made proper credit clearance prior to the sale with the owner or Sale Managers.
BID - No private sales will be allowed except as otherwise provided for in the terms and conditions. No by-bidding will be permitted.
SALES TAXES – Applicable sales taxes will be charged on semen, embryos, and trucking fees (if listed), respective to the home province of the buyer, not the seller.
DISPUTES - In cases of disputes, bidding will be reopened between the parties involved. If no further bid is made the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision in such matters will be final.
PURCHASER’S RISK - Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. Animals will be cared for at the purchaser’s risk for a reasonable length of time.
INSURANCE – Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser at the time of sale and should be insured. Animals returning to the seller’s farm must be insured.
US BUYERS – There is an additional charge (approximately $300.00 US dollars) that will be applied to each animal purchased. This covers documentation, vet inspections/testing required to export. This cost does not include transportation or brokerage which is the responsibility of the buyer.
CATTLE PICTURES AND INFORMATION PROVIDED - The images in this catalogue are believed to be accurate representations of the individual animals and the information contained in this catalogue is provided by the seller and believed to be true and accurate. Transcon Livestock Corp. and catalogue designers/producers assume no responsibility if the images and/or information as received have been altered or is inaccurate.
ANNOUNCEMENTS – All announcements from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay attention to any such announcements.
CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRY - A registration/recordation certificate issued by the applicable breed association and duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer of each animal after settlement has been made. It is the responsibility of the buyer to determine the acceptance of this certificate in any other association.
SHIPPING - Assistance will be given in making shipment after the sale but no risk is assumed by the Sales Management or Seller. Expenses incurred are the responsibility of the purchaser. Purchasers are requested to furnish shipping instructions when making settlement.
BREEDERS GUARANTEE - As per applicable Canadian Breed Association Breeding Guarantee guidelines. Copies are available at the sale settlement desk to be picked up by the buyer at any time. In no event shall the seller be responsible for reimbursing more than the purchase price. EXCEPTION TO GUARANTEE - In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproduction techniques after the sale, the guarantee shall be null and void.
HEALTH - It is the buyer’s responsibility to determine health requirements for importing any animal into his province or state. Transcon Livestock Corp. assumes no responsibility for the health status of any animal in the sale.
EMBRYO & SEMEN – Full settlement must be made before release is done and shipping arrangements should be done within 30 days of the sale unless arrangements made between buyer and seller prior to the sale. Shipping arrangements and costs are the expense of the purchaser once release has been given.
ACCIDENTS - Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of buyers, neither the Sales Management, auctioneer, consignors, or Association assumes any responsibility in this matter and disclaims any liability legal or otherwise in the event of accident or loss of property.
RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS - The above terms and conditions of the sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and the seller and be equally binding to both. Resale of animals following purchase in this sale shall constitute a separate transaction and the rights and obligations of the two parties connected thereto are not covered by the terms and conditions of this sale.

IS AGENT ONLY - It is to be clearly understood that Transcon Livestock Corp. is only acting as a medium between buyer and seller and is not in any way responsible for any failure on the part of either party to live up to his obligations. Neither does Transcon Livestock Corp. assume any financial obligations to collect or enforce collection of any monies between parties. Any legal action that may be taken, in exceptional cases, must be between buyer and seller.disclaims any liability legal or otherwise in the event of accident or loss of property.
