Use fresh Parmisan, but stay light! Parmisan is a fantastic cheese, but it contains a lot of fat, and it should be better not to exaggerate with it. That is why a grater in paper plane form is a new and funny way to bring cheese on the table, but a reminder to use it with caution. It becomes therefore a metaphor of a healthy alimentation, through a perl of Italian food, the Parmisan. And as it doesn’t need a foothold, it is simpler to handle it flying over the dish. The grater is made in stainless steel, and it is thought as an appetising “all’italiana” table tool. It was born from the idea of making something for the table starting by a flat sheet of material. And the first thing that came out was a paper plane. Then, because of the
V form, it was just perfect for a slice of Parmisan! And besides the new “chemical” way of seeing food, this can be an “adventurous” way of eating and let the imagination fly! Produced by PAOLA C. 20 x 25 cm, stainless steel

*Salone del Mobile has been looking exclusively to the future, through a joined-up project that, along with the usual exhibition involves the City of Milan, providing an opportunity for reflection on design, on the world of industry that has made it all possible, on creativity and on culture. *PAOLAC., as editor of a collection of design objects principally dedicated to the idea of L’art de la Table, proposes works that escape the standard codes of appearance and instead play with traditional definitions. The Collections, which have been realized in diverse materials that include glass, ceramics, and metals, have involved the collaboration of young designers from Italy and abroad, under the Art Direction of Aldo Cibic. www.paolac.com *Guido Raffaello has been producing lampshades of unsurpassed quality since 1967. He collaborates with internationally acclaimed companies and designers, and transforms the ideas of his principals into truly outstanding objets d’art. www.guidoraffaello.com
