What others are saying... Our partnership with Living Hope has created a desire within our church to not run away from the issue of homosexuality, but to engage with love, grace, and truth. This is what the church has lost sight of and Living Hope seeks to equip people to address these issues. Matt Chandler, teaching pastor The Village Church, Highland
Village, Dallas, Denton, Fort Worth, TX
I was... looking for answers to where we had gone wrong in raising our son, and what would “fix” him. God has used Living Hope in our lives to turn the tsunami of confusion about our son to a calmer storm... We are learning to hang onto God’s hand as He walks with us. We don’t know the future, but as we depend on Him, it’s not as scary as it was two and a half years ago. We have hope, a living hope, and His name is Jesus. - A Mom, 51, TX
What we [LHM] strive toward is shifting the end goal from “not being gay anymore” to having a correct and real understanding of God, his love, and our relationship with Him. When I stopped trying to be straight and started pursuing God, the struggle was put back into its proper place of sin instead of claiming my whole identity. Living Hope helps me to keep growing and learning. - Christena, 23, TX/Africa
What others are saying... I feel blessed to have wandered into the online community of LHM five years ago. Just being able to speak honestly about where I am regarding same sex attraction, is so encouraging. In my context, I often feel hesitant to bring up the topic of homosexuality with anyone, let alone talk about my own experiences and struggles. I am encouraged by the freedom to engage with others who are thinking through the same sorts of things I am thinking through. Because of LHM, I’m able to take things out of the dark and bring them into the light where Christ can reveal truth, and bring healing and hope. -Hannah, 25, Australia
I found LHM after living a double life for some time... This has been a very difficult journey, but LHM has consistently pointed me towards Jesus... Their ultimate goal is to honour the Lord and to equip me to become the woman Jesus intended for me to be. I am so grateful for this ministry. - Linda, 51, Canada I was so excited to find women who understood my story, had my story, didn’t judge my story and loved me (and my husband) in spite of my story. There was great power in getting the hurt out of my heart and out of my mouth. It was so much more healing than I ever anticipated! Praise God for a safe place to share, to cry, to grow and to change. - A Wife, 42, TX
About Living Hope Ministries
In-Person Support
Living Hope Ministries (LHM) seeks to proclaim God’s truth as we journey with those seeking sexual and relational wholeness through a more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. We provide three specific areas of ministry: In-person, weekly support groups; confidential, online support forums, and education for the church and community.
Our confidential in-person support groups meet weekly for worship, teaching, discipleship, and small group accountability. LHM has groups for young adults, men, women, friends and family, and wives of men who struggle with same gender attraction or sexual and relational issues. In order to participate in the support group, each person must go through an intake interview with one of our staff. Go to our website and click on “CONTACT US” for our group locations.
We believe the power of the Gospel is transformational. As a result, we believe lives can and will be radically changed by a deep and meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ. Our program is one of discipleship and our text is the Word of God. As we grow in our understanding of who God is and who we are in relationship to Him, we see our true selves emerge from the confusion and chaos of our feelings. LHM provides a safe place for individuals to journey with Christ as they are conformed into His image. We believe God’s design for human sexuality is the exclusive union of one biologically born male joining with one biologically born female in holy matrimony for a lifetime commitment of mutual surrender to Christ and to each other.

In The Community LHM desires to educate the church and community. Each year LHM is privileged to speak in schools, seminaries, universities, local churches and groups throughout the United States and the world. We help individuals understand and respond redemptively to a world impacted by sexual and relational expressions that are contrary to God’s revealed Biblical sexual ethic.
