Welcome to Williamsburg and First Night!

We are very pleased you have chosen to spend your New Year’s Celebration with us! The KIDS SHOW at Matthew Whaley School is where the fun begins! Young families, grandchildren and YOU. Main Stages light up at 7 pm throughout the city and on the campus of the College of William & Mary. Over 30 live acts await your attendance. Mark your programs for many choices and always have a back up plan. The Grand Finale will take place starting at 11:30 with song and then fireworks at Zable Stadium. Robert (Bobby) Braxton We have food, festivities and music. President, First Night of Williamsburg Enjoy this evening.

Enjoy a variety of entertainment: Celtic, Rock, Bluegrass, Folk, Storytelling, Classical, Gospel, Blues, Jazz, Shag, Big Band Swing. First Night has it all! (p.7) Buses: We provide complimentary buses throughout the entertainment circuit. Park in satellite parking and begin your evening with a free ride! (p.6) Parking: Plenty of parking is available in the William & Mary garage next to the campus police station on Ukrop Way, as well as the parking garage behind the Williamsburg Chamber & Tourism Alliance Building on N. Boundary Street. Limited parking is available at the Williamsburg Library, Community Center, Zable Stadium and Campus Center parking lots. (p.6) On-street parking is usually available in the triangle formed by Richmond Road, Scotland and N. Boundary Streets.
