INGREDIENTS
DIRECTIONS
2 oz. Detroit City rye whiskey
Add whiskey, lemon juice and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake until chilled.
1 oz. fresh squeezed lemon juice (optional) 1 egg white
Optional: For additional richness, add one egg white to the above ingredients and dry shake (without ice) in the cocktail shaker for 30 seconds. Then add ice and shake until chilled.
1 oz. fruity red wine
Strain into rocks glass filled with ice.
GARNISH
Slowly pour red wine over the back of a spoon, held just above the glass, to create a surface layer.
1/2 oz. simple syrup
2 Traverse City Whiskey Co. premium cocktail cherries skewered on a cocktail pick
Add cocktail cherry garnish. Enjoy.
