This isn’t just another tradeshow; it’s a celebration of our growth and the amazing team that’s made Lordco what it is today. We’re bringing together over 400 vendors, exclusive Red Sheet Specials, and countless opportunities to connect and collaborate.
But the best part? It’s about seeing old friends, meeting new faces, and making unforgettable memories with your colleagues. From food and drinks to fun moments and exciting deals, this is our chance to celebrate and enjoy the experience together. Let’s make this 35th tradeshow one to remember—don’t miss it!
The Social Committee at Lordco’s head office and L1 Warehouse works hard to bring fun and excitement to the workplace throughout the year. Whether it’s organizing themed dress-up days, holiday giveaways, or festive activities, the goal is to create an engaging and uplifting environment for everyone. Events like “wear your PJs” day in December and candy grams for Valentine’s Day give employees a chance to connect, celebrate, and share some laughs. Trinity, a proud Social Committee member, shares, “We want to create a positive and energetic workplace. It’s all about boosting morale, fostering teamwork, and making work more enjoyable for everyone while strengthening our team spirit.”

The Buick GNX, featured in Kendrick Lamar's new album and Superbowl performance, was a performance powerhouse from 1987. With only 547 units made, its turbocharged V6 engine made it faster than many supercars of its time, including the Ferrari GTO, with a 0-60 mph time of just 4.6 seconds.

February 7th to 14th is Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) Awareness Week! Congenital heart disease currently affects 1 in 400 people, which means this has a huge impact on the health of Canadians. CHD Awareness Week is all about learning, listening, working together, and supporting those living with the disease.
Those affected by congenital heart disease are born with defects in the heart’s structure. There may be structural issues in the arteries, valves, or chambers of the heart, which may change the way blood flows through the heart. Some types of congenital heart disease may be mild, but others can be life threatening, so it is important to watch for symptoms, such as irregular heart rhythms (arrythmias), blue skin, lips, or fingernails, shortness of breath, and chest pain. This disease can affect both children and adults, so if you or someone you know is experiencing any of these symptoms, it is important to talk to a doctor.
Tests to diagnose congenital heart disease in both adults and children include electrocardiograms, chest x-rays, echocardiograms, and many others. Getting tested is the first step to improving the health of many Canadians living with the disease. Next is treatment, which may include medications, procedures, or just general care. General care includes physical activity, which can have both physical and emotional benefits for those living with congenital heart disease. Many Canadians with congenital heart disease are encouraged to complete light to moderate exercise. A good measure for moderate exercise is to increase heart rate and breathe heavily, but still be able to hold a conversation. Examples of good exercises to achieve this include brisk walking, swimming, jogging, and many more.
To support those living with congenital heart disease, this month, let’s try to compile some tips for light to moderate exercises that can be done by people with CHD. Add your tips to the Get Your Heart Rate Up community on Lordco’s wellness platform to join in and raise awareness. To add your tips, go to Lordco Connect and click on the Lordco Wellness tab.
To learn more about congenital heart disease, find resources for support, and learn how to help, head to the Canadian Congenital Heart Alliance website at https://www.cchaforlife.org
Staff - Langley #9
Just want to say thank you to the staff at this location. They helped me to find the correct engine air filter, torx tool, and motor oil for my little Audi TT.
They were patient, helpful, and courteous with every question I asked. You have terrific people in this store and will make it a point to stop and shop here for both my wife and I vehicles.
Thank you very much!

Chase Carre - Enderby #62
Called in to check on prices for a new battery for my car, Chase took my call and gave me prices. He let me know that it may not be my battery and may be another issue. He offered to test my battery so we could know for sure. I work across the street and drove over, he tested my battery and it turns out I have a dead cell. Absolutely top tier in customer service from Chase! Did not pressure me into a sale or talk down to me because of my lack of car knowledge. He explained it all to me and offered to install the new battery when I do purchase it.
I couldn't get the battery today, but I will be back to see Chase because of this experience.
Thank you a million times over Chase!! I will be back to see you soon.

Courtnay Ferguson - Enderby #62
Called for my truck parts and was helped buy a employee named Courtney. She was polite and very knowledgeable. Was also nice to see the rest of the front counter staff step up and help me with my other questions. I highly recommend this store and will definitely use them again.

Brendan Heaney - Coqutilam #69
Great place, friendly staff. Brendon/Brenden was especially helpful. I went in for a few things, but he asked if I had things like gasket maker, brake cleaner, dielectric grease just to make sure I had everything to do it correct. Talk to him if it's your first time doing a DIY project. You won't regret it!

JANUARY RECOGNITION
OHS aimed to kick off the year with a strong focus on employee safety and to significantly reduce MSI-related injuries throughout the year.
A comprehensive MSI reduction program was initiated beginning of this year which will run through Q1 of 2025. The first step of the campaign involved a companywide viewing of the MSI video. The video educates every employee on the causes, signs & symptoms, and most importantly, the prevention of MSIs. The video is providing valuable insights that aim to deepen understanding and increase awareness across the organization.
A particularly inspiring response came from one of Lordco’s warehouses – L106 Kelowna WH, where employees began organizing morning stretching sessions before the workday. This proactive initiative not only shows strong participation in the campaign but also highlights a commitment to improving employee well-being and reducing the risk of injury.
Well done Kelowna WH Team!
Let’s stay safe and healthy, now and always.
