A word from our president Hi seals, This is your club president, Sammy Tang. I hope all of you have a great holiday this December and enjoy winter break. With the year coming to the end, many memories have been made with this year’s seals! Keep a lookout for new events and opportunities for service hours in 2022. Additionally, the other officers and I are always looking for ways to recognize valuable members of Key Club, so if anybody wants to nominate a fellow seal, there will be a form in the Linktree. That is all for now and once again, I wish you all a great holiday. Thanks, Samantha Tang

Seal of the Month
~ Andrew Ore ~
Seal of the month goes to *drum roll* Andrew Ore. He has displayed all the true qualities of a seal, starting with active participation in Key Club activities and ending with his outstanding dedication to Key Club. Andrew says that “Key Club is a space where I can relax and have fun being around my friends. It has reminded me of what it means to have spirit and cooperation. Key Club has helped me be more social as I have the opportunity to talk to my fellow members at the events and meetings.” If you or a friend wants to be featured in future newsletters, a google forms will be up soon for nominations.

Happily Ever After - RTC The RTC was a walk through memory lane as everyone once again prepared to meet on zoom. The RTC never got boring and had activities readily prepared. An anonymous member had said their favorite part of the RTC was the theme, which is based off a children’s fantasy show. RTC’s allow members to learn more about the jobs officers are tasked with and officers attend workshops to guide them throughout their term.

Spirit Session #5 The spirit session held at Sohabarum Park was held likewise to previous sessions but this time, there was also an appearance from a special guest. The special guest was Bruce, a German Shepard. As usual, clubs are preparing for Fall Rally and practicing the chants that will lead D35W to victory. Bruce had ended off the meeting on a light and carefree note.
