Bidding and Auction Information

Qtego Auction Technology is providing our guests with an exciting auction experience bidding on silent auction items and purchasing raffles using your mobile phone, iPad, or computer. Qtego's service will keep you informed of status updates and other announcements during the event as well! For our guests at the Lourdes Event, Qtego staff are also there to assist in placing any bids! There’s even a station to charge your devices or view/bid on a computer on your own, if you’d prefer.

GETTING STARTED WITH QTEGO’S QLINK / MOBILE BIDDING WEBSITE 1. Register your mobile phone number by selecting ‘REGISTER FOR EVENT’ on our Event site, http:// lourdescentralcatholic.home.qtego.net Registration will also be available the evening of the Event. 2. Watch for 2 text messages from Qtego, confirming your registration. 3. From your phone: click the link & start bidding! You will be asked for your credit card information when you register. Your credit card will not be

charged at this time. Qtego will only charge your credit card if you bid on an item and win, purchase an InstaBuy item, make a monetary donation or vote during the event. If you’d prefer to pay with cash or check at the end of the evening, just visit a Qtego checkout station to pay. You can easily search for items, create a list of items to “watch”, easily view items you are bidding on or on which you have been outbid. You can also utilize Max Bidding. When you place a max bid, you enter the maximum amount you're willing to pay for the item. Other bidders will not know your maximum bid. Qtego will place bids on your behalf starting at the next bid increment for the item's current high bid. Your max bid will increase the current high bid only by the bid increment amount, up to your maximum amount. If another bidder places the same maximum bid as you, the person who placed their maximum bid FIRST will be the high bidder. If another bidder outbids your maximum bid by the bid increment or more, Qtego will notify you so you can place another bid if you choose. Your maximum bid is kept confidential. 2

Bidding and Auction Information

Payment and pick up of items is due at the close of the evening. All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges. Guests not attending the evening of the Event may pick up items at the school office by Friday, April 12, 2019. For the Grand Auction, a bidder can accept a bid called by the auctioneer by raising their hand. Some items may have a bid minimum assigned. No bid less than that minimum will be accepted. Qtego staff will enter your bid number (phone number) to complete your winning bid! For the Silent Auction, each item has an opening bid and a minimum raise amount. No bid less than the opening bid will be accepted and each new bid must exceed the previous bid by at least the minimum raise amount. The Silent Auction closes at 9:00pm. No bids will be accepted after that time.

Check out is quick & easy! You can pay and check out from your phone! After payment, you will have a receipt on your phone. If you would like assistance with checking out or would like to pay via check or cash, Qtego staff are ready to help you! At the close of our auction, items can be collected from our volunteers in the practice gym by presenting your receipt on your mobile device to our volunteers and students. Students will be available to assist with carrying out items as well.

Thank you & happy bidding! 3

Welcome! Welcome to the 25th Lourdes Event! Our Event Committee and volunteers have been hard at work to put together a fun and memorable evening celebrating and raising funds for our school. The generous spirit and stewardship of all those who have given their time, talent, and treasure over the past 25 years has been a tremendous blessing to Lourdes Central Catholic. The generosity of our families, alumni, faculty, staff, friends and community is truly amazing and is reflected in the wonderful items and experiences in our Grand Auction, Class Projects, and Silent Auction. When you purchase something from the Lourdes Event, it’s a win-win! You get to enjoy a fantastic item or experience and support Lourdes Central Catholic school! Our goal this year is to raise $100,000 in support of our 2019-2020 operating budget and to keep our tuition affordable for our families. Thank you for your support of the Lourdes Event and in helping us carry out our mission; to assist parents in the development of their children by providing a Christ-centered environment which promotes spiritual, academic and social growth in order to prepare students for active participation in the Church, in their families and in society. Thank you to the numerous volunteers, benefactors, and sponsors. Without their efforts this evening would not be possible. Cheers to 25 years! God Bless, Brooke Chaney Special Projects Director

Fund a Need This year our Fund A Need project is focused on enhancing our library at the Main Campus used by our Elementary, Middle School, and High School students. Necessary upgrades to the furnishings, shelving, paint, and carpeting as well as adding library books and materials will greatly improve our library. The estimated cost of these improvements is $35,000. Our goal for these improvements is $10,000 and has been made lighter through gifts in Memory of Thomas “Tom and Dorothy Funke. Tom and Dorothy were great friends and supporters of Lourdes Central Catholic school and we were deeply saddened by their loss this school year. Dorothy was an alumni of the Class of 1961 and served the school in many ways; including librarian, school historian and alumni coordinator. Tom was an honorary alumni and served on the Lourdes Endowment Board for many years. Tom and Dorothy also began the Lourdes Endowment Dinner which has been a tremendous blessing to Lourdes and is celebrating its 25 th Event. Tom and Dorothy requested memorials to be given to the Lourdes Central Catholic library. As a testimony to their faith-filled life and love of Lourdes, $15,000 was generously gifted in their memory. In addition to the $15,000 in memorials, the Funke Family is matching donations during our Fund-A-Need up to $10,000. Thank you to the Funke family and all those who gave generously in memory of Tom and Dorothy. We hope you will join in those who have already given to help us meet our goal and upgrade our school library during the Fund A Need portion of our dinner program!
