Bidding and Auction Information
Qtego Auction Technology is providing our guests with an exciting auction experience bidding on silent auction items and purchasing raffles using your mobile phone, iPad, or computer. Qtego's service will keep you informed of status updates and other announcements during the event as well! Bidding begins March 23, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. and ends on April 4, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.
GETTING STARTED WITH QTEGO’S QLINK / MOBILE BIDDING WEBSITE 1. Register your mobile phone number from your phone, your computer or your tablet by selecting ‘REGISTER FOR EVENT’ on our Event site: http://lourdescentralcatholic.home.qtego.net 2. Watch for 2 text messages from Qtego, confirming your registration. 3. From your phone: click the link & start bidding! You will be asked for your credit card information when you register. Your credit card will not be
charged at this time. Qtego will only charge your credit card if you bid on an item and win, purchase an InstaBuy item, or make a monetary donation. You can easily search for items, create a list of items to “watch”, view items you are bidding on or on which you have been outbid. You can also utilize Max Bidding. When you place a max bid, you enter the maximum amount you're willing to pay for the item. Other bidders will not know your maximum bid. Qtego will place bids on your behalf starting at the next bid increment for the item's current high bid. Your max bid will increase the current high bid only by the bid increment amount, up to your maximum amount. If another bidder places the same maximum bid as you, the person who placed their maximum bid FIRST will be the high bidder. If another bidder outbids your maximum bid by the bid increment or more, Qtego will notify you so you can place another bid if you choose. Your maximum bid is kept confidential. 5

Fund a Need Each year at the Lourdes Event we have a Fund-a-need, a special project that isn't part of our operations budget, but a need for our school and for our students. This year our funda-need project is to replace the lockers outside our school library. The current lockers are showing their wear and tear after 35 years of use and most no longer open or close properly. The cost to replace all 55 lockers is $11,553. For $210 you can replace an old locker with a brand new one! With your donation, you also have the opportunity to dedicate the new locker to your favorite saint! Each locker will bear a saint's name who will serve as the patron saint for the lucky student who has that locker each year! Simply use the InstaBuy feature in Qtego for our Fund-a-Need; Locker Project to donate 155 lockers! Thank you for your generosity!

Event Committees So many of you give of your time and talents to Lourdes Central Catholic. Parents, alumni, students, community businesses - all of you make our school what it is today. Many of you volunteered to help with the last minute details. From silent auction set-up to assisting with decorations, despite not holding the gala dinner, you were ready to help. We truly thank each and every one of you for stepping up to help. Because of the extenuating circumstances, our list of volunteers has been shortened. We would like to thank the following people for their efforts in the planning and acquisition stages of the event. To Tara Bennett and Audra Rutt, we thank you for volunteering to decorate and for all the pre-planning that goes into searching out just the right items to complete the theme of the evening. To Suzie Moody and Erin Kuszak for being a part of the planning process, it takes a lot of inspiration and ideas to make the event so special. To Hope Weninger and Rachel Hamling for running all over town and beyond to visit with business about donations and pick up silent auction items. To Kelly O’Donnell for coming in to take photographs of all the many wonderful items which you now get to bid on and purchase. To Taylor McGinnis for coordinating all of the class projects, they are sure to be favorites on the auction. To Brooke Chaney and Patrice Wulf for their guidance and support as I learn the ropes. To Reagan Bassinger and Izzie Fedoris (Class of 2020) for helping us daily with all of the little errands we need completed during the day and for being a couple of great envelope stuffers and sealers! - Megan Brehm 9
