This circa 1978 tilt-up concrete structure, originally designed as part of an R&D office park, was reinvented into a state-of-the-art data center. The simple box-like structure was transformed into a high-tech facility that conveys movement, security and advanced infrastructure. Through the use of perforated panels, cement panels and horizontal glazing elements, the exterior brings energy to the site and controls visitor access. The lobby uses high tech LED lighting and illuminates the 24/7/365 security and fail safe operations of the data center.
