– Créer une forme élancée et gracieuse à partir d’un matériau normalement considéré comme massif et lourd, typique du monde du bâtiment et de l’architecture : le béton. – Creare una forma sottile e leggiadra, utilizzando un materiale normalmente percepito come massiccio e pesante, tipico del mondo dell’edilizia e dell’architettura: il cemento. Una sfida tecnologica e di design, risolta nel segno dell’eleganza e della linearità: in una parola, con Aplomb. Una piccola lampada sospesa nell’aria, come il filo a piombo da cui prende il nome, con un carattere originale, forte e concreto. Un altro progetto sorprendente e affascinante, nato dal cantiere di idee Foscarini.

– Crear una forma fina y magnífica, utilizando un material normalmente percibido como macizo y pesado, típico del mundo de la construcción y de la arquitectura: el cemento. Un desafío tecnológico y de diseño, solucionado con un toque de elegancia y de linearidad: en una palabra, con Aplomb (aplomo). Una pequeña lámpara suspendida en el aire, come el hilo de plomo en el que se inspira su nombre, con un carácter original, fuerte y concreto. Otro proyecto sorprendente y fascinante, nacido de la fábrica de ideas Foscarini.
– Eine feine und anmutige Form zu erschaffen und dafür ein Material wie den Zement zu verwenden, das normalerweise im Baugewerbe und in der Architektur als massiv und schwer empfunden wird, ist eine Herausforderung für Technologie und Design, die im Zeichen der Eleganz und der Geradlinigkeit gelöst wurde: mit einem Wort, mit Aplomb. Eine kleine im Raum schwebende Leuchte, wie ein Senkblei, dessen Namen sie ja trägt, mit einem starken, originellen und konkreten Charakter. Ein weiteres verblüffendes und faszinierendes Projekt, das in der Ideenwerkstatt Foscarini entstanden ist.

– En phase de développement, la première étape a été en effet d’identifier, parmi les innombrables typologies de ce matériau, un ciment suffisament fluide pour pouvoir être coulé dans un moule aux épaisseurs très réduites mais à même de garantir, une fois durci, une résistance optimale aux chocs et à la chaleur. Le résultat est une lampe compacte et élégante, caractérisée par une tige incroyablement fine et une texture agréablement brute.

– Durante el desarrollo, el primer paso ha sido en efecto determinar, entre las muchas tipologías de este material, una masa lo suficientemente fluida como para discurrir en un molde con espesores muy reducidos, y al mismo tiempo ser capaz de garantizar, al endurecerse, la máxima resistencia a los golpes y al calor. El resultado es una lámpara compacta y elegante, caracterizada por un vástago increíblemente fino y con una textura tosca pero agradable.
– Im Verlauf der Entwicklung war der erste Schritt in der Tat, aus der Unzahl von Varianten dieses Materials ein derart flüssiges Gemisch zu ermitteln, das in der Lage wäre, in die engen Hohlräume einer Gießform zu fließen dennoch nach der Aushärtung des Materials die beste Stoß- und Hitzebeständigkeit zu gewährleisten. Daraus entstand eine kompakte und elegante Leuchte mit einem unglaublich zarten Schaft und einer angenehmen rauen Textur.
– Given the many different types of concrete, the first step in the development of Aplomb was, in fact, to create a mixture fluid enough to pour into a very small mould that would also ensure maximum resistance to impact and heat once hardened. The result is a compact, elegant lamp with an incredibly thin stem and a pleasantly rough texture.
– Nel corso dello sviluppo, il primo passo è stato infatti individuare, fra le moltissime tipologie di cemento, un impasto tanto fluido da scorrere in uno stampo con spessori molto ridotti, eppure in grado di garantire, una volta indurito, la massima resistenza agli urti ed al calore. Il risultato è una lampada compatta ed elegante, caratterizzata da uno stelo incredibilmente sottile e da una texture piacevolmente grezza.

– Aplomb ist eine vielseitige Leuchtenfamilie, ideal für die Kreation verschiedenster Kompositionen und Stimmungen in jeder Art von Umgebung. In der Ausführung als Hängeleuchte kann sie entweder alleine, zum Beispiel über einem Tisch, oder in einer Reihe, zur Beleuchtung einer Oberfläche eingesetzt werden. Darüber hinaus sind auch Zusammenstellungen in unterschiedlichen Höhen denkbar. Die deutlich schlankere Ausführung als Bodenleuchte eignet sich hingegen perfekt für ein angenehmes Raumlicht in einer Zimmerecke oder neben einem
– Aplomb est une famille de lampes polyvalente, qui permet de créer des compositions et de susciter des émotions dans n’importe quel espace. La version suspendue peut être utilisée seule, sur une table par exemple, en enfilade, pour éclairer une surface, ou encore en composition sur différentes hauteurs. La version sur pied – à l’encombrement réduit – est idéale pour apporter de la lumière dans un angle ou près d’un canapé ou d’un fauteuil. Le choix des couleurs, obtenues au moyen de pigments ajoutés directement dans le mélange de ciment, valorise de manière différente sa personnalité dans tous les espaces, domestiques ou collectifs : le gris souligne le matériau utilisé, le blanc met en évidence son élégance et le marron lui confère une note chaude et intense.

La versione a sospensione può essere utilizzata da sola, ad esempio su un tavolo, in file per illuminare un piano, o ancora in composizione su diverse altezze. La versione da terra - dagli ingombri ridotti - è perfetta per portare una luce d’ambiente in un angolo oppure vicino a un divano o a una seduta. La scelta dei colori, con pigmenti aggiunti direttamente nella miscela di cemento, valorizza in modo diverso la sua personalità, in tutti gli spazi, domestici o collettivi: grigio per sottolinearne la matericità, bianco per evidenziare la sua eleganza, marrone per aggiungere una nota calda e intensa.

– Aplomb es una familia de lámparas versátil, adecuada para crear composiciones y emociones en cualquier ambiente. La versión de suspensión se puede utilizar sóla, por ejemplo sobre una mesa, en filas para iluminar una plataforma o también en composición con diversas alturas. La versión de pie - de volumen reducido - es perfecta para llevar una luz ambiental a un rincón o cerca de un sofá o un asiento. La selección de los colores, con pigmentos añadidos directamente en la mezcla de cemento, valoriza de forma distinta su personalidad, en todos los espacios, domésticos o colectivos: gris para evidenciar la matericidad, blanco para destacar su elegancia, marrón para añadir una nota cálida e intensa.
Sofa oder Sessel. Die Wahl der Farben, mit den der Zementmischung direkt beigemengten Pigmenten, bringt je eine andere Persönlichkeit der Leuchte zum Ausdruck, für den Einsatz in den verschiedensten Situationen des Wohn- oder Objektbereichs: grau, um die Materialität zu betonen, weiß um ihre Eleganz hervorzuheben, braun, um eine warme und intensive Note hinzuzufügen.
– Aplomb is a versatile family of lamps which can be used to create compositions and sensations in any room. The suspension version can be used on its own - for example over a table - in rows to light up a surface or even as a composition at different heights. The floor lamp – with its small overall dimensions is perfect for casting a cosy ambient light in a corner or close to a sofa or seat. The choice of colours, with pigments added directly to the cement mixture, emphasises the lamp’s personality in different ways for use in any setting, whether at home or in public venues: grey underlines the materials of the lamp while white highlights its elegance and brown adds a warm and intense note.

– Natural evolución del primer modelo de suspensión, Aplomb pie se enfrenta a nuevos desafíos proyectivos. Rediseñada completamente en las proporciones para conseguir que sea todavía más esbelta y ligera, el volumen del difusor en cemento se reduce cuando se observa de lado y se combina con un vástago metálico. El apoyo y la base lacados en blanco valorizan la presencia matérica y cromática del difusor.
– Als natürliche Weiterentwicklung des ersten Hängeleuchtenmodells, stellte die Gestaltung von Aplomb Terra spannende Anforderungen an das Design. Um die Leuchte noch schlanker und leichter zu gestalten, wurden ihre Proportionen völlig neu durchdacht. Dadurch wirkt das Gesamtvolumen des auf einem Metallschaft ruhenden Zementschirms in der Seitenansicht deutlich schmäler. Das Stützelement und der Sockel, beide weiß lackiert, heben die materielle und farbliche Präsenz des Schirms hervor.
– Naturelle évolution du premier modèle en suspension, Aplomb sur pied relève de nouveaux défis de conception. Ses proportions ont été entièrement recalculées pour la rendre encore plus élancée et légère. Le volume du diffuseur en ciment s'en trouve ainsi réduit lorsqu'on l'observe de profil et vient se raccorder à une tige en métal. Le support et la base laqués en blanc mettent en valeur la texture et la couleur du diffuseur.

– A natural evolution from the first suspension model, the Aplomb floor lamp faces new design challenges. Completely redesigned in its proportions, to make it sleeker and lightweight, the volume of the cement diffuser appears significantly reduced when looked at from the side and it is connected to a metal rod. The white lacquered support and base emphasise the textured and chromatic appeal of the diffuser.
– Naturale evoluzione del primo modello a sospensione, Aplomb terra affronta nuove sfide progettuali. Completamente ridisegnata nelle proporzioni per renderla ancora piÚ slanciata e leggera, il volume del diffusore in cemento si riduce quando lo si guarda di lato e si raccorda a uno stelo metallico. Il sostegno e la base laccati bianco valorizzano la presenza materica e cromatica del diffusore.
