SITE MRT STATION BUS STATION UBIKE STATION MAJOR TRAFFIC FLOW MINOR TRAFFIC FLOW WALKING PATH
IN ADDITION TO THE EAST SIDE OF THE BASE FOR THE QUIET LANES AND THE MASS, THE REST ARE FACING BUSY TRAFFIC FLOW, SO MY DESIGN HAS ENTRANCE ON ALL SIDES OF THE BUILDING, ELEVATED ARCHITECTURE VOLUME ON THE NORTH AND THE SOUTH SIDES, CONVENIENT FOR PEOPLE TO ENTER, EAST SIDE HAS A LARGE ENTRANCE TO MEET THE MAIN CROWDS FROM TAMSUI MRT STATION .

CONCEPT PROJECT INTRO.

CHAPEL / COMMUNITY CENTRE MY CONCEPT DERIVED FROM THE WORDS OF ST. AUGUSTINE:“ HE WHO SINGS PRAYS TWICE”. IT MEANS SINGING COULD BE DOUBLE PRAY.IT WAS ONCE TOUCHABLE EXPERIENCE AT THE CHURCH OF MINE. THE SINGERS PRAISED JESUS BY SINGING AND PRAY THAT THE MUSIC BROUGHT PEOPLE CLOSER TO GOD. THEREFORE,MY DESIGN STARTED WITH“MUSIC”AS THE MAIN AXIS.

major E n i Nº1 e u q s e b a r D eb ussy / A TAMSUI IS LIKE TWO SONGS . “DAY IN TAMSUI” IS ARABESQUE NO.1 FROM DEBUSSY. “NIGHT IN TAMSUI” IS CHOPIN'S NOCTURNE OP.9 NO.2. THE ATMOSPHERE OF ARABESQUE IS LIKE SPARKLING WATER SURFACE WITH A CULTURAL CHARM, AND THE RHYTHM OF THE NOTES AND THE CONTINUATION OF THE SONG CORRESPOND TO THE FEELINGS IN (DAY) TAMSUI.AT NIGHT, THE RIDGELINE DISAPPEARED, THE WATER WAVE BECAME THE BACKGROUND MUSIC, JUST LIKE THE PURENESS OF THE NOCTURNE, THE NIGHT SKY REFLECTED ON THE WATER, THE FAINT YELLOW LIGHT OF THE FRESHWATER RIVER BANK, JUST LIKE THE SERENITY OF NOCTURNE.
