FELIPE MORALES ESCRITOR “Mi mensaje en el libro es solo el de disfrutar y conmover” Texto: Eloy Vera Felipe Morales tiene medio siglo de vida a sus espaldas. Estudió Trabajo Social en La Laguna y se dedicó a ello hasta que la crisis le hizo replantearse su futuro. Entonces, optó por lo que más le gustaba: la terapia humanista integrativa. También ha probado suerte en los medios de comunicación con colaboraciones en Cope Fuerteventura y el periódico El enfoque. Acaba de cumplir el sueño de ver publicado su primer libro, un conjunto de relatos bajo el título de Biofragmentos. La vida en 700 palabras. ¿Cómo surge su incursión en el mundo de la literatura? Me dediqué a la música de autor durante diez años. Siempre de forma autodidacta. Hacía canciones que interpretaba con la guitarra. También escribía poemas. Siempre me gustó la literatura, desde la época del instituto. Leía mucho y quería escribir, pero la prosa se me resistía. No tenía las herramientas y fui derivando a otras cosas hasta que empecé a escribir en el periódico El enfoque. Fue ahí donde descubrí que lo que estaba escribiendo tenía calidad literaria. ¿Y cómo se fragua Biofragmentos. La vida en 700 palabras? Son 36 relatos y algunas poesías contextualizadas en los relatos. Hace dos años, empecé a escribir artículos de reflexión y .4

desarrollo personal en El enfoque. Alguna vez, por variar, escribí relatos. La receptividad de la gente fue mucho mayor que con los artículos y, de repente, descubrí que me sentía preparado. Me pareció un experimento literario enriquecedor y entonces decidí aumentar el número de relatos para hacer un libro. ¿Cuál es el mensaje que se pretende dar en los relatos? No escribo con la intención de dar un mensaje. Mi mensaje es sólo el de disfrutar y conmover desde el drama, el miedo y la rabia con experiencias de vidas muy atadas a la realidad, pero siempre con una dimensión literaria. Hay mucha intertextualidad en el libro, muchas referencias literarias, puntos de vista, personajes. ¿Cómo son los personajes que transitan por la obra? Son como la vida misma, de todo tipo. Hay mujeres que no superan el duelo; niñas que descubren la vida; hombres que viven la transición de la vida a la muerte y se cuestionan un montón de cosas; experiencias de viajes; memoria personal y mucha creatividad. Hay referencias literarias a El Quijote y al realismo mágico. Cada cuento es un libro de página y media. ¿Cuáles son los argumentos de los relatos? Están siempre relacionados con experiencias vitales de personas en cualquier ámbito: el amor, la muerte, la familia. También hay relatos relacionados con experiencias históricas como El Balvanera, donde hablamos de la experiencia de la pérdida. Quien te sigue en las redes sociales puede ver que Felipe Morales es una persona con mucho humor, ¿está ese humor también en el libro? Hay mucho humor. Cada relato es muy diferente. Hay unos que son tremendamente dramáticos y otros esperpénticos. Intento pasar por todas las gamas de la emoción humana, pero hay mucho humor y juego de

palabras donde se puede ver cómo el lenguaje nos lleva a equivocarnos, malinterpretar y a distorsionar la realidad. Utiliza en los relatos el género del biofragmento literario, ¿en qué consiste? Nuestra percepción de la realidad está hecha de fragmentos, experiencias fragmentarias, lo que recordamos no es solo lo que vivimos. Parto de la vida como que son fragmentos en todos los sentidos. En la actualidad, está la sensación de que todo se fragmenta, como ocurre con la información. Son fragmentos de vida, conjuntos de relatos relacionados con experiencias trasmitidas a través de la literatura. ¿Qué autores y lecturas le han influido en este libro? Me ha influido tanto la literatura como la música. Pablo Milanés y Silvio Rodríguez en la música, desde el punto de vista poético. Lazarillo de Tormes, Hermann Hesse, Unamuno y su San Manuel bueno mártir, Mario Vargas Llosa, García Márquez, El guardián entre el centeno de J. D.Salinger, Milán Kundera… ¿Y qué papel juega Fuerteventura en la obra? Juega un papel muy importante y además implícito y se verá en muchos relatos del libro. Parto de mi experiencia personal, tanto literaria como humana. Fuerteventura es el paisaje humano, la perifericidad. Es ver el mundo desde Fuerteventura.

FELIPE MORALES WRITER “My message in this book is just to enjoy and move” Text: Eloy Vera Felipe Morales has half a century of experience behind him. He studied Social Work in La Laguna, and he devoted to it until the crisis made him reconsider his future. Then he chose what he liked best: Integrative humanistic therapy. He’s also tried the media, collaborating with Cope Fuerteventura and the newspaper El enfoque. He has just witnessed how one dream has come true: publishing his first book, a group of stories under the title Biofragmentos: La vida en 700 palabras. How did your incursion in the world of literature come up? I dedicated to music production for ten years, always as a selftaught. I wrote songs I used to play with my guitar. I also wrote poems. I have always liked literature, since I was studying in high

school. I used to read a lot and I wanted to write, but I found it hard to write prose. I didn’t have the tools and I started to change directions until I started to write in the newspaper El enfoque. It was there that I found out that what I was writing had a poetical quality. And how did Biofragmentos. La vida en 700 palabras take shape? They’re 36 stories and some poems contextualized in those stories. Two years ago I started to write articles for reflections and personal development in El enfoque. Some times, to change, I wrote stories. The reception by readers was bigger than with articles and, suddenly, I found out I was ready. It seemed to me an enriching literary experience and then I decided to increase the number of stories to make a book. What’s the message you intend to give with those stories? I write with no intention to give a message. My only message is to enjoy and move from drama, fear and anger with real life experiences, but always in a literary dimension. There’s a lot intertextuality in the book, many literary references, points of view, characters. What are the characters that appear in this work like? They’re like life itself, of many different kinds. There are women who can’t overcome a loss; girls who find out life; men who live the transition from life to death and wonder about many things; travel experiences; personal memories and lots of creativity. There’re literary references to El Quijote and the magic realism. Every tale is one and a half page book. What are the plots of the stories? They’re always related to life experiences of people in any fields: love, death, family. There’re also tales related to historical experiences like Balvanera, where we talk about the experience of a loss.

They who follow the social nets can realise that Felipe Morales is a person with a good sense of humour, can we see this humour in the book as well? There’s lots of humour. Every story is very different. Some of them are tremendously dramatic and some others, grotesque. I try to portray all the vicissitudes of human emotion, but there’s lots of humour and play of words where we can see how the language leads us to misunderstandings, thus distorting reality. Your use the genre of literary biofragment in your stories, what does it consist of? Our perception of reality is made of fragments, fragmented experiences, we don’t remember just what we live. I depart from the idea that life is fragments in every sense. At present we feel that everything is being fragmented, as it happens with information. They’re fragments of life, a series of stories related to experiences transmitted through literature. What authors and readings have influenced this book? Literature and music have both influenced it. Pablo Milanés and Silvio Rodríquez with their music, from a poetic point of view. I depart from my personal literary and human experiences. Fuerteventura is a human landscape, remoteness. It’s watching the world from Fuerteventura.

La programación ha sido cuidadosamente seleccionada para ofrecer propuestas interesantes a todos los públicos y perfiles. Imagine a performing-art Festival with cultural offers full of magic and singularity, in an environment where nature is the protagonist that exquisitely partners with art… We’re talking about Escena Lanzarote, the performing-art festival, the festival of creativity. The programme has been carefully selected to offer interesting proposals for all audiences and profiles. For residents and visitors, for young people and adults, for all those who wish to quench their cultural interests of any kind, as in Escena Lanzarote they speak the universal language. It’s not a coincidence that such a festival is taking place in the centres of Art, Culture and Tourism of Lanzarote, as the very island and Escena Lanzarote share their essence: the symbiosis between Art and Nature. The sensorial experience of high-level artistic and cultural events, such as the ones we can see in the line-up of Escena Lanzarote, exponentially multiplies for the unbeatable environment where the performances are taking place: the auditoriums Jameos del Agua and Cueva de los Verdes, el MIAC-Castillo de San José and La Casa-Museo del Campesino. Moreover, in 2019 Escena Lanzarote acquires greater prominence because it will celebrate the 100 birthday of César Manrique, a genius and an icon who turned the island into a natural and human work of art, and who put Lanzarote in the international spotlight as one of the best examples of integrity between the respect for nature and the human activity from an artistic and cultural point of view. Next October and November the festival, directed by Quino Falero, will bring us music, dance, theatre, opera…. on the most dreamy stages of Lanzarote’s Geography.

SMASHED Escena Lanzarote starts this 2019 with Smashed, by the British circus company, Gandini Juggling, on October 5th and 6th in Jameos del Agua auditorium. The performance, challenging traditional juggling and contemporary circus, has a total of nine artists, the relationships among them, one hundred apples and a most varied sound track which can include Tammy Wynette and Bach. They’ll be the protagonists of this unforgettable tea party.

Jameos del Agua The first appointment of this cultural and performing art festival will take place in one of the most impressive rooms, a work by nature and César Manrique. Manrique turned a collapsed volcanic tunnel into a space of harmony, peace and calm. The auditorium, of a singular beauty, offers an acoustics that make it unique in the world.

FAUST vs MEFITÓFELES The Festival will land in Auditorio Cueva de los Verdes on November 8th and 9th with the work Fausto vs Mefitófeles. The show offers a review of several operas in “Fausto”, by Charles Ground, and “Mefitófeles”, by Arrigo Boito. In this work both characters meet in a dramaturgy with a particular view. Faust is being played by Pancho Corujo, a tenor from Lanzarote, one of the most internationally recognised young national tenors.

Cueva de Los Verdes

Escena Lanzarote arranca este 2019 con Smashed, de la compañía de circo británica Gandini Juggling, los días 5 y 6 de octubre en el auditorio Jameos del Agua. El espectáculo, que desafía el malabarismo tradicional y el circo contemporáneo que cuenta con un total de nueve artistas, cien manzanas y una banda sonora que pasa por Tammy Wynette hasta Bach, como protagonistas de esta inolvidable fiesta del té.

Jameos del Agua La primera cita con la cultura y las artes escénicas del festival, será en un auditorio único en el mundo por sus características geológicas y condiciones acústicas. La mano de Manrique convirtió un tubo volcánico desplomado denominado jameo, en un auditorio de una belleza singular, un escenario perfecto. Cada detalle de Jameos del Agua es una continua invitación a la introspección, la reflexión y la ensoñación.

FAUSTO VS MEFITÓFELES El festival aterrizará en el Auditorio Cueva de los Verdes los días 8 y 9 de noviembre con la obra Fausto vs Mefitófeles. El espectáculo ofrece un recorrido por la trama de las óperas de “Fausto” de Charles Ground y “Mefitófeles” de Arrigo Boito. En la obra, ambos personajes se encuentran en una dramaturgia con una visión particular. El personaje de Fausto está interpretado por el tenor lanzaroteño Pancho Corujo, uno de los jóvenes tenores españoles más prometedores y con mayor proyección nacional e internacional.

Cueva de Los Verdes El Auditorio de la Cueva de los Verdes se comporta en cualquier acto como un personaje más del reparto del espectáculo. Este túnel volcánico es uno de los más extensos e impresionantes del planeta, con más de seis kilómetros de

The Auditorium La Cueva de Los Verdes becomes, in every performance, one more character in the cast. This volcanic tunnel is one of the longest and most impressive ones in the planet, over six kms long where you can get immersed in the heart of Lanzarote’s formation. Historically, it was used as a shelter by the local population when attacked by pirates. At present, it’s a focal center where you can admire works by nature, and where you can enjoy the varied cultural offer thanks to this extraordinary auditorium.

BHAKTI La Casa-Museo del Campesino will hold the Bhakti performance, by the company Mónica de la Fuente, on November 30th, an offer that combines performing arts with gastronomy in a singularly beautiful scene. The work proposes an emotive and expressive tour around the most evocative sounds and flavours in India, where music and dance create holy spaces when fused. The Bharata Natyam dance goes back to the most ancient ways of dancing in the Indian culture, when the sacred dancers used to dance in the temples for the gods. The performance is starred by the dancer Mónica de la Fuente and the musicians Ravi Prasad and Subrata De.

Casa Museo del Campesino La Casa Museo del Campesino is a work by Manrique that supposes a recognition to the labour of farmers and their hard life conditions in the island of Lanzarote. It’s about a meeting point between tradition, architecture and gastronomy. In the Bhakti show, the performance fuses with the handicrafts market and the gastronomic offer in a dinner show for the amusement of all the audience’s senses.

BHAKTI La Casa-Museo del Campesino acogerá el 30 de noviembre la actuación de la Compañía Mónica de la Fuente y su espectáculo Bhakti, una propuesta que combina las artes escénicas y la gastronomía en un espacio de singular belleza. La obra propone un emotivo y expresivo viaje por los sonidos y sabores más evocadores de la India, donde la música y la danza crean espacios sagrados a partir de su fusión. La danza Bharata Natyam retrocede hasta las más antiguas formas de baile de la cultura de la India, cuando las bailarinas sagradas danzaban en los templos para los dioses. La propuesta está protagonizada por la bailarina Mónica de la Fuente y los músicos Ravi Prasad y Subrata De.

Casa Museo del Campesino La Casa Museo del Campesino es una obra de Manrique que supone un reconocimiento al trabajo de los campesinos y sus duras condiciones de vida en la isla de Lanzarote. Se trata de un punto de encuentro entre la tradición, la arquitectura y la gastronomía. En el espectáculo Bhakti, la actuación se fusiona con el mercado artesanal y la propuesta gastronómica en una cena-espectáculo para el disfrute de los espectadores con todos los sentidos.

La diva Peaches Staten (Chicago), Greg Izor Band (Texas), Caterina Soul & Blues Band (Italia), Fuerteventura Big Band y una gran banda nacional como Jimmy Barnatán & The Cocooners, entre otros, son los alicientes de un evento ya consolidado en el panorama cultural de Fuerteventura y de Canarias, todo un referente en el género blues. La diva del blues Peaches Staten será uno de los grandes atractivos del festival, con su agrupación Peaches Staten Band con un estilo arraigado profundamente en el blues, con toques de funk y R&B. La cantante, aunque es natural del Delta del Mississipi (Doddsville), es miembro del Salón de la Fama del Blues de Chicago y se ha formado musicalmente en esta ciudad partiendo del gospel, el blues y el soul. El solista de la armónica, poderoso cantante, Greg Izor estará también en Fuerteventura con la Greg Izor Band (Austin, Texas). Izor es de Vermont, pero creció musicalmente en los grandes escenarios del blues de Luisiana, Chicago y Texas. Su estilo es de raíces tradicional, moldeado por la influencia de los maestros de la armónica, el blues de Louisiana, el soul sureño, el pop swamp, el jazz clásico y el R&B, pero también con la frescura del artista emergente que es. La banda lleva establecida en el panorama canario desde 2012, y aúna en su repertorio lo mejor de la música negra del siglo XX, con temas de soul, blues y R&B, además de canciones espirituales que solían interpretar los esclavos negros en iglesias y plantaciones del sur de los EEUU durante los siglos XVIII y XIX. Fuerteventura Big Band es un proyecto musical joven, que desde 2017 ha llegado para llenar el hueco de bandas de jazz en el escenario musical majorero. Quince músicos, en su mayoría profesionales, componen esta banda que está preparando un espectáculo especial de blues para este Festival Internacional, un espectáculo que aseguran el potente y rico sonido surgido de sus trompetas, trombones, saxos, flauta, piano, guitarra, bajo y batería. The diva Peaches Staten (Chicago), Greg Izor Band (Texas), Caterina Soul & Blues Band (Italy), Fuerteventura Big Band, and a great national band such as Jimmy Barnatán & The Cocooners, among others, are the charm of an already consolidated event in the cultural scene of Fuerteventura and the Canary Islands, a true model in the blues genre. The diva of blues, Peaches Staten, will be one of the great attractions of the festival, a band with a very deeply rooted blues style, with some funk and R&R touch. The singer is a member of the hall of fame of blues in Chicago, and she trained as a musician in this city, departing from gospel, blues and soul, although she was born in Mississippi Delta (Doddsville) The harmonica soloist, a great singer, Greg Izor, will also be in Fuerteventura with Greg Izor Band (Austin, Texas). Izor is from Vermont, but regarding music he grew up on the great stages of blues in Luisiana, Chicago and Texas. His style is traditional in its roots, but it’s been modelled by the influence of harmonica masters, Louisiana blues, southern soul, swamp pop, classic jazz and R&R, but also with the freshness of the emerging artist he is.

There will also be a show that guarantees a great band on the national scene, Jimmy Barnatán & The Cocooners (Madrid). It’s a soul and blues rhythm band led by the writer, actor and singer Jimmy Barnatán, characterised by a heavy sound, with influences of the American music and the unmistakable voice of Barnatán; a leading Spanish blues band. Caterina Soul & Blues Band is a quartet headed by the italian singer Caterina Di Placido, together with Reinaldo Rivero (guitar), Alberto Gulias (drums) and Marco Valero (bass). The band has been established in The Canary Islands scene since 2012 and they gather, in their repertoire, the best of black music in the XX century with soul, blues and R&R, apart from spiritual songs that black slaves used to sing in church and in the fields of the South of EEUU during the XVIII and XIX centuries. Fuerteventura Big Band is a young musical project that has replaced the jazz bands on the musical stages of the island since 2017. Fifteen musicians, most of them professionals, make up this band who is preparing a special blues performance for this international festival, a show that guarantees the powerful and beautiful sound coming from their trumpets, trombones, saxophones, flute, piano, guitar, bass and drums.

La historia personal de Miguel Ángel Chacón (Malage) comenzó hace 41 años en Puerto del Rosario, aunque parte de sus capítulos transcurren en El Cotillo. Ahí ha conseguido vivir de la artesanía y la decoración y ha logrado que una de sus piezas, el pescado, se convierta en un símbolo del pueblo. En El Cotillo también verá cumplido uno de sus sueños en octubre: abrir una galería de arte. .14

El idilio de Malage con la piedra se remonta a los tiempos en los que trabajaba como maestro pedrero. Sin embargo, un día llegó la crisis y tras ella la cola del paro. Malage tuvo que buscar nuevas expectativas y, sin renunciar a la piedra, fue al encuentro de nuevos horizontes. “Me vi sin trabajo y con una hipoteca. Entonces, dejé Puerto del Rosario y me fui a El Cotillo. Luego le di la vuelta a la piedra y empecé a hacer collares, en vez de muros de piedra”.

La artesanía y el arte no eran nuevas para él. En su casa había respirado ese ambiente. Tenía a dos buenos maestros, sus hermanos Paco y Silvestre, vinculados con la artesanía y la decoración. La idea de los collares comenzó a salir bien. De repente, los pescados de Malage empezaron a lucirlos la gente de El Cotillo y comenzaron a viajar a Europa colgados del cuello de los turistas. Los peces comparten ahora protagonismo con especies tan variadas como arañas, moscas, mosquitos…

Para sus creaciones, utiliza la piedra de arenisca, el basalto y la caliza. Con ellas hace collares, anillos, trofeos, esculturas…También trabaja con otros materiales como el cristal, el hierro y la madera. Su escultura es figurativa y está ligada al reciclaje y es que los materiales que devuelve el mar los convierte en arte. “Me gusta hacer las cosas reciclando materiales”, asegura. Los jallos que devuelve el mar: maderas, hierros oxidados… en las manos de Malage se convierten en obra de arte. Este majorero, de los Chacón de El Cotillo, ha encontrado en esta localidad su fuente de inspiración. Asegura que trabaja por impulsos. Se inspira en la playa, en el mar, en el ambiente de sus calles y en los turistas que visitan el pueblo. Son muchos los visitantes que buscan la casa de Malage cuando llegan a El Cotillo para ver si tiene algún pescado hecho que poder comprar. En octubre espera poder abrir una galería de arte en El Cotillo. También será una tienda de artesanía. Verá así cumplido el sueño que, desde hace tiempo, ronda en su cabeza. Se llamará El Mirafondo y en ella habrá una tienda de artesanía y una sala de exposiciones. Malage guarda secreto en torno al nombre del artista con el que va a inaugurar la sala de exposiciones, pero sí tiene claro que éste y el resto de los que expongan en la galería en el futuro serán de la isla y de otros puntos .16

The romance of Malage with the stone goes back to the times when he used to work as a master mason. However one day the crisis arrived and with it, unemployment. Malage had to look for new perspectives and, without renouncing to the stone, he went in search for new horizons: “I found myself with no job and a mortgage. Then I left Puerto del Rosario and I went to El Cotillo. Then I reinvented my job and I started to use stones to make collars instead of walls”. Craftsmanship and art weren’t new to him. He had already grown-up in this environment. He had two good teachers, his brothers Paco and Silvestre, related to the world of craftsmanship and decoration. The idea of collars had a good start. Suddenly, Malage’s fishes were worn by the people in El Cotillo and also travelled to Europe on the tourists’ necks. Now, fish share limelight with such varied species as spiders, flies, mosquitoes…. For his creations, he uses sandstone, basalt and limestone. With them he makes collars, rings, trophies, sculptures… He also works with other materials such as crystal, iron and wood. His sculpture is figurative and is related to recycling, and this is because he turns into art those objects the sea returns to us: wood, rusted iron… they become a work of art by Malage. This man from Fuerteventura, belonging to Los Chacón (family) in El Cotillo, has found his source of inspiration in this village. He assures he works driven by stimuli. He finds inspiration in the beach, the sea, the environment of the streets and the tourists that visit the village. del archipiélago. Siempre avalados por una trayectoria artística. La galería se abrirá en su casa y hasta ahora taller de trabajo. En la parte de arriba estará la sala de exposiciones y en la de abajo una tienda donde los artistas pueden vender su obra. El objetivo no es otro que impulsar el arte que se hace en Canarias. De momento, y mientras espera que la galería abra sus puertas, se gana la vida como decorador. El oficio le llegó por sorpresa. Un día unos vecinos de El Cotillo lo llamaron para que les decorara el restaurante que tenían previsto abrir en la zona. Le gustó la idea y se atrevió a hacerlo. Le vino el miedo al principio, pero se fue ilusionando según veía los buenos resultados. En 2015 se abrió el restaurante El Callao, en una antigua casa de 1700 de dos plantas donde Malage, sin renunciar a lo rústico, hizo un diseño moderno con la piedra de callao como protagonista. Tras El Callao llegaron otros locales como El Sotavento, las cafeterías El Goloso en Lajares y El Cotillo, el restaurante Las Salinas del Carmen, en el Museo de la Sal, Los Pinchitos en Lajares, el Olivo Corso, en El Cotillo… Se define como un gran admirador de su paisano el escultor Juan Miguel Cubas. Espera que, una vez abra la galería, se pueda poder relajar y hacer aquello que le gusta, “levantarme por la mañana y hacer un pescado o un pájaro si me apetece, ponerle un precio y ponerlo a la venta en la galería”. Malage es un hombre polifacético: artesano, artista, decorador, pintor de carteles publicitarios… Si no le sale el trabajo de una cosa le sale de otro. Lo importante para él es crear y se le da muy bien.

This job came to him by surprise. One day some neighbours in El Cotillo called him to decorate the restaurant they wanted to open in .18

Malage is a versatile man: craftsman, artist, decorator, painter of advertising hoardings… he can find many different jobs, the aim is just to create and he’s really good at it.

Festival Artístico Cotilleando 12 y 13 de Octubre en El Cotillo

Un año más, El Cotillo se llena de arte, magia y diversión con la cuarta edición del Festival Artístico Cotilleando. Circo, Danza, Música, Teatro y Artesanía, son las disciplinas artísticas que marcan este singular evento que se desarrolla por el bonito y encantador casco viejo del pueblo los días 12 y 13 de octubre.

Cotilleando es un evento para toda las edades, que reúne magia y armonía en un escenario tan peculiar como es el casco antiguo del El Cotillo, donde la luz de la luna, las estrellas y el sonido del mar acompañan al espectador en un recorrido artístico, animado y divertido. Artistas nacionales e internacionales (Perú, Chile, Guatemala, República Dominicana, Argentina, Bulgaría, Italia, España y Canarias) demostrarán su arte sorprendiendo al público que, tan cálido y bien dispuesto, admira con alegría y estupor las distintas actuaciones y espectáculos que se irán sucediendo por los distintos escenarios improvisados del Casco Antiguo. Un festival tan especial, que incluso algunos vecinos y vecinas del pueblo formarán parte del mismo actuando en los distintos rincones de El Cotillo. La peculiaridad de Cotilleando es exactamente el factor sorpresa. Se trata de pasear libremente por el casco antiguo dejándose llevar por la música y siendo sorprendido por las distintas actuaciones, acrobacias, baile y creaciones en vivo, que los artistas irán desarrollando. Artistas y espectáculos se adaptan al lugar, a los distintos escenarios naturales que este encantador pueblo nos ofrece, utilizando la magia de los mismos para dar vida a sus espectáculos. Si no quieres perderte nada, te recomendamos utilizar el programa de actuaciones donde se detallan los lugares y las horas de cada espectáculo. Esta cuarta edición nos trae actuaciones de lo más diversas, como la de Yuri Bussi con sus burbujas gigantes, pequeñas y de formas y colores diferentes, que contarán una mágica historia, acompañadas por las suaves notas del maravilloso violín de Marilina Dobre.20

Una creación exclusiva para el Festival, de una hora de duración, que ya es todo un clásico del Cotilleando para poner fin a tan especial evento y donde disfrutaremos de la mayoría de las actuaciones del sábado, mezcladas con armonía, y acompañadas por música en vivo, en una historia única y emocionante. El festival comienza el sábado 12 a las 19.30 en la Plaza Antigua de El Cotillo, para seguir después hacia el Casco viejo (zona peatonal) donde se irán sucediendo las distintas actuaciones. El domingo 13 las actividades comienzan a las 17:00 en la plaza antigua y a las 18.30, en ese mismo escenario, será el cierre del festival con el gran espectáculo final. Cotilleando es un festival organizado por la Asociación Bosque TabaibArt y el Ayuntamiento de la Oliva, con el apoyo y patrocinio de los negocios de la localidad.

Circus, Dance, Music, Theatre and Crafts are the artistic disciplines that standout in this singular event which takes place in the beautiful and charming old town on October 12th and 13th. Cotilleando is an event for all ages, gathering magic and harmony in such a peculiar stage as the old town of El Cotillo, where the moon light, the stars and the roaring of the sea accompany the audience in an artistic, animated and fun tour. National or international artists (Peru, Chile, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Argentina, Bulgaria, Italy, Spain and The Canary Islands) will show their art by surprising the audience that, warm and willing, admires with joy and astonishment the different performances and shows that will take place around the different improvised stages of the Old Town. It’s such a special festival that even some neighbours in the town take part in it, performing in the different corners of El Cotillo. The peculiarity of Cotilleando is exactly the wow factor. It’s about wandering freely around the old town driven by the music and being surprised by the different performances, acrobatics, dance and live creations the artists will be developing. Artists and shows will adapt to the different natural stages this charming town offers us, using their magic to enliven the performances. Y que aun así, nada de nada, no hay cambio. ¿Sabes por qué sucede eso? Muchas veces resulta que estamos viendo una misma situación desde perspectivas muy distintas; otras veces, simplemente, como le caigo mal a alguien, su misión es llevarme la contraria. ¿Sabes de lo que te hablo? Yo creo que sí, creo que como yo, las vives en todo momento y a lo largo de tu vida, por ello, el Dr. Edward de Bono, creó un sistema revolucionario llamado “6 Sombreros para pensar” La clave está en ser capaces de analizar una propuesta, una situación, un proyecto o lo que quiera que sea, desde 6 perspectivas diferentes. ¿Dónde está el truco? LET’S COME TO AN AGREEMENT Have you ever seen how you normally end up discussing the same topics with your family, friends and colleagues, especially? If I ask you what troubles you about your job or what bothers you about your partner or children, don’t you end up answering the same? That you’ve been talking about it over and over again, in every conceivable way, and still nothing, absolutely nothing at all has changed? Do you know why this happens? In many cases it turns out that we are observing the same situation from very different perspectives; in other cases, somebody doesn’t get along well with you and their mission is to contradict you. Do you know what I’m talking about? I think you do. Probably, just like me, you find yourself in a similar situation quite often during your life. For this reason, Dr Edward de Bono created a revolutionary system called “Six Thinking Hats”. The key is to be able to analyse an offer, a situation, a project or anything else from six different perspectives. Where’s the trick? The thing is that everyone who’s involved in the conversation must be focused on the same direction, so at the same time there’s no space for ego battles. We would all concentrate and analyse the offer with the same approach. You can follow any map you prefer, but let me give you a very simple and practical one. Here you have it: COLOUR OF THE HAT
