Mad Cow Theatre Mad Cow Theatre now in our 22nd season, is downtown Orlando’s destination for professional theatre. MCT was founded on the belief that the theatre is a dynamic and powerful means of social understanding, as well as a hugely entertaining art form. Through the combination of passionate, skillful acting and compelling, insightful writing, nurtured by an attentive and ever-changing process, Mad Cow presents entertaining works of theatre to an ever-widening audience — promoting, enhancing, and celebrating the human condition through art. With a passion for both classic and contemporary plays representing the best of American and world literature,

MCT is committed to story-telling with no boundary, to a wide range of audiences. MCT attracts the area’s most talented performers, designers, and directors. A mainstay of the company is its dedication to the process of creating theatre, incorporating in-depth rehearsal, and research periods along with a nurturing collaborative process. Fade LISA BUCK (Properties Master) Set designs include The Road to Mecca, Mrs. Warren’s Profession, and Painting Churches (Mad Cow Theatre), Don Pasquale, Abduction from the Seraglio, and Carmina Burana (Orlando Opera), Madama Butterfly, II Barbiere di Siviglia, Tosca, and The Magic Flute (Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra) and The Tender Land (UCF). Lisa studied painting at Parsons School of Design, Pratt Institute, and Cobalt Studios. She has won numerous awards for her painting and has written how-to-paint articles for North Light Publications.

Alejandro wants to thank his wife and his beautiful children for all the love and support they always show him. VICTORIA ORDEMAN (Costume Designer) is an Orlando based theatre artist from Dayton, Ohio. She is excited to be working with Mad Cow Theatre for the first time. Her recent design credits include hair/makeup design & costuming intern for Richmond Shakespeare Festival’s 2018 season, costume design for Octets: A New Musical in Oxford, Ohio, and hair/ makeup design for the world premier of BLISS (or Emil Post is Dead) at Miami University. JENNIFER COE (Lucia) Mad Cow Theatre debut! Past credits include: Julia and Roselo (Julia), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Helena), Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike (Nina), A Palm Tree in a Rose Garden (Lila), Dancing at Lughnasa (Rose), The Lion in Winter (Alais), Romeo and Juliet (Benvolio), Mikveh (Chedva). She can also be seen in commercials for Walt Disney World and Universal Studios. Love and gratitude to everyone who has been part of this journey.

CLIFF PRICE (Scenic Designer) is excited to be back in the pasture for Season 22. He has been resident scenic/production designer for Encore! Performing Arts since 2002. Recent projects include Bad Jews and Buyer & Cellar and Outside Mullingar for Mad Cow and Aida, Ragtime, Godspell, Hairspray, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee for Encore. He received a 2017 Broadway World Regional (Orlando) Best Scenic Design Award for Hairspray. Cliff thanks Mike Beahm and Clay Price for their love and support.

ALEJANDRO GUEVAREZ (Abel) is very excited to return to Mad Cow Theatre. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting from UCF. His previous works include Cow/ensemble in Jack and the Beanstalk, (Jesus) Godspell, (Fernando) Mariana Pineda,(Iago) Othello, (Santiago) Anna In The Tropics and (Mad Man)Arabian Nights.

She is the director of Teatro Español at Mad Cow Theatre. Eliana also teaches ESOL at Orange Technical College and she periodically offers acting workshops in Spanish at Mad Cow. LONA NGUYEN (Stage Manager) holds a Bachelors of Arts in English literature from the University of Central Florida. When she isn’t spending all of her time at her friend’s house, she is an English teacher at Freedom High (go Patriots!). Lona spends most of her time (and money) putting on or appreciating works of theatre and is so appreciative to be able to work with Mad Cow alongside very talented people. ELIANA STRATICO (Director) Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, she graduated from the Universidad Nacional del Arte as Actriz Nacional (National Actress). Her background includes music, acting for film, and contemporary dance. She has been working as an actress, director, and drama instructor in Argentina and the United States. Her director credits at Mad Cow Theatre include Los árboles mueren de pie,

PLAYWRIGHT TANYA SARACHO is a native of Sinaloa, Mexico. Named “Best New Playwright” by Chicago Magazine, she is a new Ensemble Member at Victory Gardens Theater, a resident playwright emerita at Chicago Dramatists, a Goodman Theatre Fellow at the Ellen Stone Belic Institute for the Study of Women and Gender in the Arts and Media at Columbia College Chicago, founder and codirector of ALTA and co-founder and former Artistic Director of Teatro Luna. Her plays have been seen at the Goodman Theatre, Mo’olelo Theater, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Teatro Vista, Teatro Luna, the Fountain Theatre, Clubbed Thumb, Next Theatre Company, 16th Street Theater, and Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Fernanda, Quita Mitos, Song for the Disappeared, and The Tenth Muse. Saracho is a winner of the Ofner Prize, a recipient of an NEA Distinguished New Play Development Project Grant and a 3Arts Artists Award. Saracho is a member of SAG/AFTRA and the Writers’ Guild of America. Currently, she writes for the Lifetime series Devious Maids.
