WHO’S WHO Each Actor will be playing multiple roles throughout. BRIAN BRIGHTMAN (Actor) is excited to be back at Mad Cow performing in one of his favorite shows. This his ninth MCT production; most recently he appeared in Three Sisters and My Name Is Asher Lev. Along with stage work, Brian is a proud member of SAG and has worked on Bloodline, Stranger Things, NCIS New Orleans and 24: Legacy, among others. He has been seen at Mad Cow in many productions including The Fantasticks, Romeo & Juliet, Arcadia, Assassins, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and the original production of Under Milk Wood. To name a few. 143 Always TRENELL MOORING (Actor) is pleased to be involved in this virtual reading. She is a graduate of UF and The Stella Adler’s 2-year conservatory program in NYC. She was last seen on the Mad Stage stage as Lizzy Bennet in Pride and Prejudice. Batuu, a Jedi Knight, a 1940s starlet, and a wandkeeper. In her spare time Trenell enjoys sewing and cosplay. Trenell is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association. He’s worked with the company as an actor and host of their 2020 Science Play Festival. Other Central Florida credits include John Hinckley Jr. in Assassins at The Studio Theatre at Tierra Del Sol, Phallius in Winter Park Playhouse’s reading of No Need for Trojans, and Margaret Meade in Theatre South Playhouse’s Hair. Justin also works as an actor with Capone’s Dinner Show, The Titanic Dinner Show, and Michelee Puppets. Outside of Central Florida, Justin has several South Florida credits, has worked internationally with Artspot Educational Theatre, and also acted in a joint collaboration with Miami City Theatre and Azamara Club Cruises. MARK EDWARD SMITH (Actor) is honored to have been a part of Mad Cow Theatre since the very first season, having appeared in Blithe Spirit directed by founding company member Russ Blackwell. He was last seen on stage in our acclaimed production of The Little Foxes. His most recent Mad Cow venture was as director of this season’s Last Train to Nibroc. TONY SIMOTES (Director) is the former artistic director of Shakespeare & Company, which he helped found in 1978. Recent credits: Pride & Prejudice, Heartbreak House, The Royal Family, The Little Foxes, A View from the Bridge, The Tale of the Allergist’s Wife, Born Yesterday, Fences, Painting Churches, The God Game, and Constellations (all at Mad Cow), The Three Musketeers (Connecticut Repertory Theatre), The Cradle Will Rock (Rollins College) and The Nerd (Madison Repertory Theatre). MFA, New York University; BA, University of Illinois, Chicago. Lucy makes it all possible. RICK STANLEY (Actor) A 20 year career as an actor in NYC followed by another 20 years in Central Florida including a 10 year stint as a resident artist at Mad Cow, Rick has played major roles in over 50 productions. Also a successful cabaret performer, Rick now considers himself retired from the theatre. He and his husband Scott Galloway own and operate the Scott Laurent Collection, Winter Park’s premiere gallery of fine art and interior decor and accessories.

Students age 13-18 August 3-7, 2020 She Speaks! returns for female identifying youth to take part in a week long session focusing on writing 10-minute plays while learning physical, vocal, and emotional awareness to empower participants to command attention, respect and confidence learning skills to make their voices heard. Students age 13-18 are welcomed to join Mad Cow Theatre educators and special guests for one week of writing 10-minute plays and learning theatre exercises. Students will have the opportunity to be featured the following week as part of the Women’s Voices Play Festival (Aug 12-16).
