NEXT FALL Elizabeth Dean (Holly) is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC, and has performed with many of Orlando’s venues including Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Mad Cow Theatre, Orlando Opera Company, and the old Civic Theater. As a member of Abingdon Theatre Company in NYC, she originated the roles of Zona in The Ghost of Greenbrier and Charlotte in Fiction Only, Please!, as well as workshopped many new American plays. Most recent new work collaboration was Tod Kimbro’s MEDIA. Elizabeth is honored to be part of the fabric of Mad Cow’s tapestry and she thanks you, the audience, for your passionate support of this important theater. Stephan Jones (Butch) Since transplanting to Orlando 10 years ago, Stephan has worked with Orlando Shakes, The REP, and of course, here in the pasture. Past Mad Cow credits include Oscar in The Odd Couple, El Gallo in The Fantasticks, and the title role in Sweeney Todd (to name a few). This marks his 12th production with the Cows. Stephen Lima (Brandon) is honored and excited to be returning for his 9th production with the herd. Originally from Toronto Canada, Stephen is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC and was a member of their prestigious Showcase Company. Recent credits include in Legacy of Light at Mad Cow, Kaufmann in Bach at Leipzig with Empty Spaces Theatre Company and El-Fayoumy in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot with Riverton Playground / Empty Spaces Theatre Co. Mad Cow credits include Tony Lumpkin in She Stoops to Conquer, Bill Walker in Major Barbara, Segismundo in Life is a Dream, Moss in Glengarry Glen Ross and Aston in The Caretaker. Stephen would like to thank this wonderful cast & crew for all their hard work and his wife Betsy for all her love and support. Christopher McIntyre (Luke) graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B.F.A. in Theatre. He was brought to Orlando by the Orlando Shakespeare Theater’s 2006/2007 Season as an acting intern where he furthered with great training & performed in such shows as King Lear (Burgundy), The Merry Wives of Windsor (Simple), Really Rosie (Alligator). Other credits include: Into The Woods (Jack), My Pal Bette (Angel), My Illustrious Wasteland (Mogs), L’ange Avec Les Fleurs (Pierre LeFleur), VarieTEASE: Doll Factory (Robot Dog) and VarieTEASE: Lullaby (Storyteller). Christopher is making his stage debut at Mad Cow Theatre with this role, is truly excited for this show, and the meaning behind it! Thank-you, Eric Zivot for this wonderful opportunity & Geoffery Nauffts for such a wonderful script! Erin Miner (Lighting Designer) Next Fall marks Erin’s 56th show with Mad Cow Theatre. She is excited to be working with Eric. When not at Mad Cow, she can be found in the fields of Apopka High School as a drama teacher. Geoffrey Nauffts (Playwright) has worked as an actor on and Off-Broadway, regionally, and extensively in film and television. He has directed short plays by Kenneth Lonergan, Frank Pugliese, David Marshall Grant, Theresa Rebeck and Suzan-Lori Parks, as well as Naked Angels’ critically acclaimed production of Steven Belber’s TAPE in New York, Los Angeles, and London. He wrote, directed, and acted in the award-winning short film Baby Steps, starring Kathy Bates, and co-wrote Jenifer, a movie of the week for CBS. He collaborated with Elton John and Anthony Barrile on a score for Showstopper, a screenplay he and Barrile co-wrote for Ben Stiller’s production company, Red Hour. In addition to his role as a writer on ABC’s hit series, Brothers & Sisters, he currently serves as artistic director of Naked Angels, where he’s been a proud member for over twenty-four years. His critically acclaimed play Next Fall opened on Broadway in March 2010, where it received the Outer Circle Critics John Gassner Award for Best New American Play, and was nominated for a Drama 6 League Award, an Outer Circle Critics Award, a Drama Desk Award, and a Tony Award for best play.


NEXT FALL CONTINUED Peg O’Keef (Arlene) is thrilled to be back at Mad Cow, where she has had the most excellent adventures, including Under Milk Wood, Our Town, Delicate Balance, Happy Days, Antigone, Constant Wife, The Year of Magical Thinking, The Lion in Winter and most recently, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?. In addition to Mad Cow, she is proud to have worked on many local stages, teaches screenwriting and criticism at UCF; and edits copy for the Florida Film Festival. When not immersed in theatre or teaching, Peg works for Fantasy of Flight, indulging her fascination with vintage aviation. She treasures Andy Salter, is cursed by orange cats, and is proud to be a tea lady. Thomas Ouellette (Adam) appeared onstage at Mad Cow this summer in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and most recently in Othello at the Folger Theatre and Shear Madness at the Kennedy Center, both in Washington, DC. Also a director, he’ll next take on Romeo and Juliet at the Orlando Shakespeare Theater in December, where he’s also helmed Pride and Prejudice, Arms and the Man and I Hate Hamlet. Mad Cow directing credits include Lobby Hero, Stop Kiss, and Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune. A professor of acting and directing at Rollins College, Thomas has been appearing in and directing shows at the storied Annie Russell Theatre since 1996 (Equus, Macbeth, Extremities, Gross Indecency, The Glass Menagerie, many others). Kurt Wagner (Sound Design) has designed many Mad Cow productions over the years including Superior Donuts, Topdog/Underdog, The Lion In Winter, The Matchmaker, I Am My Own Wife, Amadeus, Eurydice, Sweeney Todd, Assassins, I Have Before Me A Remarkable Document Given To Me By A Young Lady From Rwanda, The Rainmaker, Talley’s Folly, The Heidi Chronicles, Glengarry Glen Ross, The Seagull, and Kid-Simple. Kurt has been honored with two EMMY nominations and four International Monitor Awards nominations, one of which he won. Kurt currently is teaching as a specialist in the film degree program at Full Sail University. Kurt wishes to thank Mad Cow for providing a welcoming and creative atmosphere for artists and designers to practice their craft through engaging and provocative productions for our community to enjoy. Eric Zivot (Director) is delighted to be making his Mad Cow directing debut. He has just returned to Orlando from the Pensacola Shakespeare Theater where he directed Twelfth Night. Orlando audiences may be familiar with his work at Orlando Shakespeare Theater where he has been an Associate Artist since 2004. At OST he has directed Alas Poor Yorick, The Unfortunates, and Yankee Tavern and has appeared as Ralph Waldo Emerson; Charm, Claudius; Hamlet, Parolles; Alls Well That Ends Well, Malvolio; Twelfth Night, Gloucester; King Lear, Jaques; As You Like It, and Macduff; Macbeth. He is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Theater and Dance at Rollins College where he has appeared as Martin Dysart in Equus, the Ghost of John Barrymore in I Hate Hamlet, and Sgt. Toomey in Biloxi Blues as well as directed productions of All My Sons and Henry V.

Today, Equity represents more than 40,000 actors, singers, dancers and stage managers working in hundreds of theatres across the United States. Equity members are dedicated to working in the theatre as a profession, upholding the highest artistic standards. Equity negotiates wages and working conditions and provides a wide range of benefits including health and pension plans for its members. Through its agreement with Equity, this theatre has committed to the fair treatment of the actors and stage managers employed in this production. 54 WEST CHURCH STREET Beginning its 15th year as Downtown Orlando’s professional Theatre, Mad Cow Theatre will soon have a facility that is of commensurate quality to the dynamic professional productions on our stages. Mad Cow is designing a comprehensive facility to create productions of the highest artistic quality that will include two intimate performance venues. Additionally, the complex includes facilities to provide Central Floridians and visitors to our region with nationally recognized theatre experiences that ignite the imagination, lift the spirit and engage our community. There’s nothing like it in Central Florida. Opening in early 2012, this new facility has been years in the making, and we would like to thank the City of Orlando and our countless audiences, donors, artists and supporters who call Mad Cow home.
