Onion :1 Green Chillies :3 Coriander Leaves : Few Mint Leaves : Few Salt : As needed Oil : For Frying Curry Leaves : Few Garlic : 4 cloves Fennel : 1 teaspoon Ginger : 1 inch piece Water : 2 cups 1. Wash channa dal thoroughly and soak in water for 3 hours. 2. Use a colander and drain the channa dal. 3. Chop the onion, curry leaves, green chillies and coriander leaves and keep it ready. 4. Grind ginger, garlic, green chillies and fennel and keep it. 5. Keep a tablespoon of channa separately and grind the remaining channa dal with the above mixture. 6. Add the curry leaves and coriander leaves to the mixture and grind it with the channa mixture. 7. Pour oil in a frying pan and deep fry vadas under medium flame.
