he essence of an organisation is the employees. They become the determining factor to either advance or halt an organisation to achieve the desired goals. But just how often crucial strategies to hire the right person is overlooked? Identifying the importance of the right person for the job is what IDENTI3 does. The company specialising in psychometric profiling opened its door in Malaysia in June this year. A meeting with the Country Director, Prince Raj, who has also opened an Indonesian Branch, led us to understand how the psychometric tool works in recruitment, team building, training and organization diagnostics. One answers 20 questions in the Identi3 assessment, answers are then analysed and results are immediate. Without compromising on accuracy and reliability, Identi3 is able to tell more in a lesser time. Through its unique design, Identi3 identifies the eight different categories that people fall under

PERTH By Devesh Joshi
Six Places That Complete Your Holiday In Perth is both dynamic and cosmopolitan, and is proud of its title as Australia’s modernday boom town, stoking the country’s economy from its glitzy central business district (CBD). On the city’s doorstep lies the natural beauty of the Swan River, creating a stunning contrast against an everglittering skyline. The many recent developments like Elizabeth Quay and a world class stadium, moreover add to its sheen look, while complementing a traditionally laid-back and easy-going vibe. So whether you are here for a day, a week, or a month, be rest assured that you are not going to return home unsatisfied, and for the best of Perth, here are our six handpicked places to explore, in and around the city: 18 | M ALIND OM AG | N OV EM B ER 2 017
Cottesloe Beach
1 COTTESLOE BEACH
With world-class beaches stretching along the western edge of Australia, for as long as 40km, Perth is also considered as a mecca for water-sport enthusiasts, with sailing and kayaking being the popular choices. In among all 19 white-sand beaches, Cottesloe beach, however, remains the city’s most photographed and popular beach. And a prominent reason for “Cot” - as locals call it - to remain the beach of choice is its’ sloping grassy banks, huge Nordolk pines, and an iconic Indiana Tea House.

3 SWAN VALLEY
Fremantle is a classic example of mixing the old with new. With its stunning streetscapes of centuries old buildings, the town takes you back in time. But behind the city’s historic facade is a contemporary feel with its own culture and lifestyle. Do not miss the vibrant Fremantle Markets open Friday through Thursday for an eclectic mix of buskers and stalls and goods. Located in the suburbs of Perth, Fremantle is about 20 km or a 30 minutes drive from Perth CBD, unless of course, you are planning for leisurely cruising along the Swan River.
At just 30-minute drive from Perth CBD, lies Australia’s second oldest, and one of the popular wine regions. With over 40 world class wineries the beautiful Swan Valley makes it feel like a different world. But that does not mean that Swan valley is only about wine. Its five boutique beer outlets, with several micro-breweries offer a wide selection of more than 20 varieties of beer. Art galleries and gift shops are moreover as much a part of the experience as wineries and beer. Kings Park
4 ELIZABETH QUAY Located on the foreshore, the newly built Elizabeth Quay offers a great public place, other than reconnecting the Swan River to the city. Explore the nautical playground of ‘The Island’ for a big smile on your children’s face or a 29m high Spanda sculpture, for those who are into art. From the jetty, it is also possible to cross the river to South Perth and catch a memorable view of Perth’s Skyline, from a distance.
5 KINGS PARK With huge expanses wildflowers and tranquil parkland, Kings Park is the most popular visitor destination in Western Australia. Overlooking the city and the Swan River, the park offers extensive city and river views and covers a total area of over 400 hectares. Springtime, however, makes for the best time to visit Kings Park, amidst a month long festival celebration of spectacular blooming wildflowers around Kings Park open spaces and in the Botanical Garden.

GRAFFITI LANEWAYS
If Perth’s urban tapestry of street art is revitalising the city’s public spaces and fabricating its social scene, it is also adding new shades to its culture at the same time. With more and more artists leaving a beautiful imprint on city walls, the graffiti art murals can be found all the way from the city centre to Northbridge and further to the port of Fremantle. But for an overdose of coloured walls and graffiti art murals, visit the popular Nick’s Lane and Wolf Lane. Dev have been travelling for more than two years now. In 2015, he quit his job, sold all his belongings, and packed his life into a backpack. And that is how he has been living ever since. Pulau Tiga
Pulau Tiga is so wild that it was once used as the setting for reality show Survivor. It is a relatively young island; in 1897, an earthquake in the Philippines caused a volcanic eruption in Borneo to form new land. It is no surprise then that Pulau Tiga is famous for its volcanic mud baths. On top of that, there’s kilometres of white sandy beach to enjoy. A hike around the island is a great way to see its native flora and fauna. Getting there: Catch a 30-minute boat from Kuala Penyu, Kota Kinabalu or Labuan.

and the beach? Get a taste of both at this tiny cove off Terengganu, close to the Kuala Besut jetty where you will see droves of people lining up to head to the Perhentian Islands. Bukit Keluang is a perfect match of pristine white sand, beautiful sea breeze and breathtaking mountains where you can explore beach caves, go windsurfing, kayaking or simply relax with your family at the resort. Be sure to head up the escarpment each morning to catch the amazing sunrise. What a view! Getting there: Accessible by car from Kota Bharu, Kuala Besut, Kuala Terengganu and Kampung Teras.
Pulau Kapas Known as Cotton Island due its white, soft sand and crystal, clear blue water, Pulau Kapas is like a scene out of a movie — only 100 times better. With a designated marine park protecting its waters, Pulau Kapas is the perfect place for snorkeling or dive deep to enjoy the coral reef that surrounds the island. If that’s not for you, then just sit back and relax in style under a palm tree. Getting there: Take a ferry from Marang, located 45 minutes from Terengganu.

Pulau Tinggi
Pulau Tinggi If Pulau Tioman seems too mainstream for you, visit Pulau Tinggi off the Johor coast. It only has 500 inhabitants and is quite laid back. It is ideal for relaxing holidays and family vacations or can double up an adventure haven, perfect for snorkeling, trekking and canoeing. The beaches are less manicured, but more natural and idyllic. Getting there: Just a 45-minute boat from Mersing in the state of Johor.
Pulau Sibu
Here you will find not one, but four charming islands: Pulau Sibu Besar, Pulau Sibu Tengah, Pulau Kukus and Pulau Sibu Hujung.
Pulau Sibu. Picture by Peter D. Kennett
The main isle is just 6km long and 1km wide, with thick vegetation and secluded beaches dominating the landscape. It is not the easiest to access, but that’s the price you pay for heaven on earth. You will also most likely have the whole place to yourself. Getting there: Arrange a boat transfer from the small town of Tanjung Leman, 130km from Johor Bahru. There is no direct bus from Johor to Tanjung Leman, so we highly recommend you to get the hotel in Johor Bahru or Singapore to arrange a shuttle bus or minivan for you. *This article brought to you by Tourism Malaysia

It is just a difference in the styles of singing. buffet style on request. New Kuta Golf and Ocean View also sets itself apart with a commitment to game improvement. The Golf Academy, Junior Golf Program and Ladies Golf Program is available with Certified PGI Professional Golf Coach, Sandiarta. With its covered, grass driving range, expansive short-game
area, and 9000-square- foot putting green the golf course facilities are indeed a state of the art. The Signature hole of this link course is located at hole 15. It is perched above a limestone cliff, overlooking stunning Dreamland, Balangan Beach – Bali’s famous surf beach and Indian Ocean.
Other than that, the beautifully designed par 3 is also very challenging even for an experienced golfers because strong winds can move the ball on the green. But the challenge is what actually makes them curious and keep wanting to play again at the New Kuta Golf and Ocean View.
