The National Schools Symphony Orchestra celebrates the start of its 25th anniversary with the annual course at Malvern College, 8th   –   15th July 2018. The week-long residential course, for talented young instrumentalists aged 9   –   19, offers intensive musical training and a well-developed social programme. With three orchestras differentiated by age and playing ability, the course provides a stimulating and rewarding mix of individual coaching by expert tutors, playing in small ensembles, sectional and full rehearsals, culminating in a final concert at Malvern Theatres. Spaces are still available for this summer, particularly for brass and string players. For more information and to apply, please visit www.nsso.org.

IB or A levels? Which is the best choice? For prep school parents and staff Malvern College has offered a choice between the International Baccalaureate and A levels in the Sixth Form for over 25 years, and achieved excellent results in both courses of study. Our senior staff will explain the differences and give expert advice to parents and staff at your prep school in a presentation and Q&A session. To arrange a talk for your school please contact Ellen Cording: epc@malcol.org
