SOPHISTICATED LADY (1984) “They say never work with animals, but Scotty was so well behaved. Here I am in a lace trimmed off-the-shoulder black fitted gown with a split to the knee. I’m wearing my own black evening gloves, diamanté bracelet, pearl chocker and earrings. Under the studio lights it was so hot, I noticed my face was looking rather shiny. Meet Scotty, Sindy’s West Highland White Terrier.
My top tip: always have a powder compact at hand darlings to re-apply.”
PREMIERE NIGHT (1984) Here we have our model Sindy wearing a faux silk evening gown in a brown, black and cream stripe design, puffed sleeves,
a
square
neckline
and
trimmed with a gold bow at the waist. To keep warm, it's teamed with a faux fur cape lined with the same striped fabric and with a gold chain fastening. A matching evening bag finishes the ensemble perfectly.
VERONIQUE SAYS, “Using a black underskirt - I love how the layer of net is visibly showing from beneath the gown. Don’t mind how you get here, just get here if you can! Sindy rides her trusted horse Dapple."

ROYAL OCCASION (1984) A ball gown consisting of a black and gold lace skirt with a gold banded waistline. This is teamed with a satin dress
trimmed
with

black
lace
sweetheart neckline. Completing the look with a faux fur stole.
VERONIQUE SAYS, "I have added a gold/black beaded bracelet
and
used
the
black
net
underskirt again to ensure Sindy glides around the dance floor."
MAIN ATTRACTION (1985) “Our model Sindy looks truly stunning in this faux silk jade green ruched mermaid style gown. The bow trim below the knee is such an eye-catching detail. We have teamed with the faux fur stole used previously.”

SINDY REPORTER, 1979 A ‘real’ typewriter with a robust construction, die cast keys, automatic ribbon reverse, paper advance and margin return. The Sindy Reporter (44723) was touted as a major advance in typewriters. Kids today will never understand these cool features that enabled children in the late 1970s the chance to live out their journalist and future novelist dreams. Note the retro brown and beige colour combo - this would have been on every 1980 Christmas wish-list.
