Non c’è niente di meglio di una pedalata nella cornice delle Dolomiti per accendere la passione. Se poi il tutto è immerso nel frizzante weekend della Maratona dles Dolomites - Enel state pur certi che ci sono tutti gli ingredienti per renderla un’esperienza indimenticabile e un momento folgorante agli occhi di un bambino che si ritrova per la prima volta al nastro di partenza di un evento dalla caratura internazionale.

È con questa convinzione che Sportful è lieta di organizzare insieme al comitato organizzatore della Maratona e agli amici di Alta Badia la 14a edizione di Maratona for Kids, l’evento benefico che presenta un duplice obiettivo: da un lato far vivere ai più piccoli un momento destinato ad alimentare la loro sana passione per lo sport e, dall’altro, quello di supportare l’associazione benefica di Alex Zanardi, Bimbingamba, raccogliendo fondi destinati alla realizzazione di protesi per i bambini che hanno subito amputazioni e che non possono usufruire dell’assistenza sanitaria. L’evento, che vuole essere un momento di festa e condivisione per i più giovani e le loro famiglie, animerà la zona di arrivo nei giorni precedenti la Granfondo più ambita d’Italia, con il via della gara riservata ai bambini dai 6 ai 12 anni il giorno sabato 2

luglio 2022.

L’uso del caschetto sarà obbligatorio e le iscrizioni sono a numero chiuso. Per i primi 400 che si iscriveranno sarà data in omaggio una maglietta da ciclismo esclusiva, appositamente studiata da Sportful. La maglia sarà come sempre celebrativa e caratterizzata da un tema unico. Una maglia quasi da collezione per chi partecipa di anno in anno. Sia la maglia Sportful che la medaglia che riceveranno saranno disegnate da Fabio Vettori, il celebre artista autore de Le Formiche di Fabio Vettori. Un ulteriore elemento che darà spessore a questo evento dedicato ai più piccoli.

La manifestazione si terrà presso il prato adiacente la zona arrivo della Maratona dles Dolomites - Enel. La partenza è alle ore 10:30 e verranno effettuate delle batterie di partenza per classe di età. È consigliata la mountain bike. Sul posto non vengono noleggiate né bici né caschi.

Le iscrizioni avverranno esclusivamente la mattina del sabato a partire dalle ore 9.00 direttamente sul luogo di gara ed avranno un costo di € 5,00 per bambino, che sarà interamente devoluto in beneficenza all’associazione di Alex Zanardi, Bimbingamba.

There is nothing better than a ride in the Dolomites sceneries to lit-up the passion for cycling in the youngsters. Add the lively weekend of the Maratona dles Dolomites – Enel and be sure there are all the ingredients to make it an unforgettable experience and a striking moment for a kid who, for the first time, will be at the starting line of such a big and international event.

With these premises Sportful is happy to organize along with the Maratona team and the friends from Alta Badia the 14th edition of the Maratona For Kids. The fundraising event has a double objective: allow the kids to experience a moment of pure passion for sport and, on the other side, support Alex Zanardi’s charitable association ‘Bimbingamba’, raising funds aimed to the realization of prosthesis for kids who incurred amputations and are not able to benefit from medical care. It is a joyful, festive event which brings life and color to the area in the days preceding the main event at the foot of the Dolomites, which will be taken on during the weekend. The start of the race for the children aged 6–12 is set for Saturday, July the 2nd 2022.

The use of a helmet is mandatory and registrations are limited. For the first 400 that will register will be given a free exclusive cycling jersey, specially designed by Sportful. The jersey they wear will feature a unique theme in celebration of a specific initiative. It changes every year, meaning the jerseys are almost like collectables! Both the Sportful jersey and the medal will be designed by Fabio Vettori, the famous artist who created Le Formiche by Fabio Vettori. There's another reason that will give clout to this event dedicated to young athletes.

The event will be held at the adjacent lawn at the arrival area of the Maratona dles Dolomites – Enel. The departure is at 10.30 a.m. and batteries will be made starting by age class. Mountain biking is recommended. No bikes or helmets are rented on site.

Entries will be held exclusively on Saturday morning starting at 9 a.m. directly at the venue and will cost € 5,00 per child. The entire proceeds will be given to Alex Zanardi’s charitable association ‘Bimbingamba’.
