KYLIE THE PHILANTROPIST

After visiting a children’s hospital in Peru with manager, Kris Jenner on a philanthropic visit, the youngest Jenner donated $1 million to ‘Smile Train.’ The non-profit organisation provides support and corrective surgery for babies born with cleft palates. The 19 year old was so moved after spending time with the babies with the condition in Lima, Peru that she felt the need to

use her fame for good and write them a whopping check. Love her or hate her you cannot deny this incredible act of kindness. This isn’t the first time the lip-kit mogul has hit the headlines for her charitable kindness, back in January it was revealed that she donated $10,000 to BFF Jordyn Woods to go towards the medical bills of her dads unexpected death. Hey Kylie, wanna be friends?

LOVE ISLAND BABY

The pitter patter of little feet are gracing the sands of ‘Love Island’ once more. Cara De La Hoyde has revealed she is pregnant with ex-boyfriend Nathan Massey’s baby. The pair who won the show last year split up back in April over constant arguing just two weeks after Cara found out she was

DR. FERRELL

The University of Southern California has awarded Will Ferrell with an honorary doctorate. In his commencement speech, Ferrell started off by joking, “I’ve already instructed my wife and children that, from this point on, they have to address me as Dr. Ferrell.” He attempted to give some wise advice to the recent graduates before belting out a rendition of Whitney Houston’s ‘I Will Always Love You.’ Make sure you check out his hilarious performance on YouTube.

expecting. Cara told OK! Magazine “I know a lot of people will think, well you're going to have a baby together so just stay together – but we're not going to do that just to look like the perfect couple.” She also added that Nathan has vowed to be there for her and their unborn child.

news SCOTT AND KOURTNEY MOVE ON

Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick have traded each other in for younger models. Kourtney’s baby daddy was spotted taking former Disney star, Bella Thorne, out on a date. Lord Disick impressed the 19-year-old with dinner at the West Hollywood hotspot, ‘Catch’ before moving onto two different bars. They have since been seen flying to Cannes together for the famous film festival where Kourtney herself is on a getaway with new beau 24-year-old male model, Younes Bendjima. AWKS. Back in December, the eldest Kardashian and Younes were spotted sneaking out of a hotel together and have since been spotted on a string of dates. Scott and Kourtney, both stars of the infamous reality show ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ have called time on their 10 year on-off romance once more. The pair have three children together but are said to remain friends.

PIPPA TIES THE KNOT

Pippa Middleton, 33, sister of the Dutchess of Cambridge said ‘I do’ to James Matthews, 41, brother of ‘Made in Chelsea’ star, Spencer Matthews on 20 May in a lavish ceremony. The stunning bride wore a Giles Deacon lace gown for the ceremony and changed into a floor white, elegant v-neck for the evening reception. The event was said to be organised with military precision and no expense was spared. The serving staff hired for the wedding were all models and guests had to provide a password to gain entry to the glass marquee the couple had specially built for the occasion. One controversial element from the wedding of the

year was that Pippa had arranged the seating plan so that couples should not be seated together. This meant that Prince Harry and his actress girlfriend Megan Markle who flew 3,000 miles to be there, couldn’t sit together.

BAD BLOOD

More fuel has been added to the fire that is the feud between Taylor Swift and Katy Perry. During her appearance on ‘Carpool Karaoke’ Perry sang her new song ‘Swish Swish’ with James Cordon, claimed to be a response to Swift’s hit ‘Bad Blood’ which is also a diss against Perry and their ex friendship. The ‘Late Late Show’ host asked Katy about the feud and she gave the sassy response we all hoped for, “Honestly, it’s really like she started it, and it’s time for her to finish it.” Need some ice for that burn Tay-Tay? She continued, “I tried to talk to her about and she wouldn’t speak to me.” We have a feeling this won’t end soon.

Uber meets luxury air travel in this brand new app designed to make your private jet experience a lot easier. (Assuming you have a private jet experience of course.) Uber has received its mixed reports of both good and bad since its release but whatever you think of the taxi service app, you can’t deny the ease and incredible success of it.

All you need to do is download the app, type in your details and you’re fully set to book a flight whenever you feel like it. Laying in bed watching Netflix feeling bored? Just tap away and you could be in the air sipping champagne on your way to Milan in no time. The app offers three services: The full-on celeb luxury experience, a private jet at your very own demand. There is the option to book onto a shared charter with other groups to save a bit of money, or take advantage of the ‘Jet Shuttle’ service which allows you to book onto a regular scheduled private jet with other groups or individuals up to two months in advance. But the luxury doesn’t just begin at the flight. The ‘white glove’ service whisks you right through security and straight onto the

SUMMER HAIR REPAIR Battling the elements including sun, sea and chlorine can wreak havoc with your hair in Summer. One of the best and natural at home treatments you can do is to use 100% pure virgin coconut oil which replenishes and repairs your locks. Blake Lively and a whole host of listers including Jennifer Aniston and Suki Waterhouse swear by it. And it is really simple to do. Just apply the coconut oil hair starting at the roots and move down to the tips of your hair. Once you get a section done, massage your hair with your finger tips to really absorb into the hair cuticle. Pile your hair into a bun and let it sit for 15-20 minutes, then wash out with a mild and natural shampoo.

POOL PARTY

LEMON SOLE WITH CHIPOTLE & ANCHO CHILLI RECADO Head to one of the Costa Del Sol͛s local fish markets and pick up some sustainably sourced sole and barbeque cook with this spicy yet flavoursome chipotle and ancho chilli recado – a perfect summer recipe from Jamie Oliver with only 274 calories per serving. INGREDIENTS (Serves 4) • 4 lemon sole or dab fillets, skin on • 1 lime CHIPOTLE & ANCHO CHILLI RECADO • 4 cloves of garlic • 2 dried chipotle chillies • 2 dried ancho chillies • 1½ tablespoon dried oregano • ½ a lime CHUNKY AVOCADO & CHERRY TOMATO SALAD • 14 ripe cherry tomatoes • 1 Lebanese cucumber • 3 spring onions • 1 ripe avocado • extra virgin olive oil • 1 lime METHOD 1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC/gas mark 4. 2. To make the recado, place the unpeeled garlic in a small roasting tin and roast for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the cloves are soft. Transfer to a plate, allow to cool, then remove the skins. 3. Place the chipotle and ancho chillies in a small bowl. Pour over boiling water to just cover and leave for 15 minutes to soak. Drain in a colander, reserving the liquid. 4. Place the chillies, garlic, oregano and a large pinch of sea salt in a food processor and blend to a paste. Add the lime juice and

4 tablespoons of the reserved liquid and blitz to combine. Transfer to a non-reactive bowl. 5. Place the fish in the marinade, cover with clingfilm and refrigerate for 30 minutes. 6. For the salad, halve the tomatoes and slice the cucumber and spring onions. Halve, destone and roughly chop the avocado. Combine in a bowl with 3 tablespoons of oil and the lime juice. Season well. 7. Preheat a barbecue or cast-iron griddle pan to a medium heat. Remove the fish from the refrigerator and cook, turning once, for about 3 minutes each side, occasionally adding some more marinade with a brush during cooking. 8. Divide the fish among plates and serve with the avocado salad and freshly squeezed lime wedges.

WINE MATCH

To match this sole dish perfectly with wine try lighter, zestier white wines and wines with more herbal and savoury characteristics such as Sauvignon Blanc, Muscadet, Cortese di Gavi, Vinho Verde, White Bordeaux or Grenache Blanc. You want to compliment the zesty dish not overpower so stay clear of reds and if you are a fan of rosé wine opt for a light and crisp variety.

news MOVIE REVIEW

ALBUM REVIEW

BOOK REVIEW

ROUGH NIGHT

NICKELBACK: FEED THE MACHINE

INTO THE WATER – PAULA HAWKINS

The perfect movie for a chilled night with the girls (or the beginning of a wild night) although boys will also find this movie funny and drool over its hot, stellar cast. Scarlett Johansson plays the lead brideto-be Jess alongside friends Demi Moore, Kate McKinnon, Jillian Bell, Ilana Glazer and Zoë Kravitz (singer Lenny Kravitz’ daughter) as five best friends from college reunite 10 years later for a wild bachelorette weekend in Miami. During their, ‘Bridesmaids meets The Hangover’ style night out they accidentally kill a male stripper and spend the rest of the night attempting to cover it up; all whilst getting into all kinds of crazy adventures and leading themselves into even bigger trouble. This black comedy movie certainly lives up to its name. Expect strong language, drug use, heavy drinking, sexual scenes and a lot of violence definitely worthy of its R rated certificate. It’s a film that will be guaranteed to make you laugh out loud in certain scenes and will definitely get you in the mood for a drunken night out with your girls. Although hopefully without the casts criminal mishaps. Out on June 16 - if you liked recent comedy films like ‘Bad Moms’ and ‘Bridesmaids’ where girls behave badly with hilarious consequences it’s definitely not one to be missed.

Nickelback are back with their ninth studio album ‘Feed the Machine’ out on June 16. The Canadian band, fronted by charismatic singer Chad Kroeger, formed in 1995 last released an album ‘No Fixed Address’ back in 2014, which received average reviews, scoring a 3.5/5 rating from ‘All Music.’ The band, most known for their most popular single ‘Rock Star’ released in 2005 confirmed their new album on their website back in February, alongside specific dates for a new tour. They are set to hit the road this summer on a full album tour beginning on June 22 in Noblesville, Indiana with 44 dates across North America including stops in Detroit, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, Vancouver and more. General tickets went on sale in February for their US leg with a European tour expected to be announced for the latter part of the year. The title track ‘Feed The Machine’ was written by Nickleback and co-produced with Chris Baseford (Slash, Shinedown) is a defiant rock/ metal anthem featuring blistering guitar riffs and face melting rhythm tracks so we can expect the album to follow in the same suit. Nickleback also released a second song from the album ‘Song on Fire’ accompanied by a music video. The album is available now for pre-order which will also get you two songs instantly including the title track and brand new song ‘Song on Fire’.

An addictive psychological thriller from the author of the global phenomenon 'The Girl on the Train', which was the No.1 bestseller in 2015 for 20 weeks and was adapted into the hit film of the same name starring Emily Blunt. This new Hawkins tale centres around two main characters Nel and Jules. In the last days before her death, Nel calls her sister. Although Jules did not pick up the phone and now Nel is dead and everyone says she jumped? Now Jules has been dragged back to the one place she hoped she had escaped for good, to care for the teenage girl her sister left behind. But Jules is afraid of her longburied memories, knowing that Nel would never have jumped. And most of all she's afraid of the water and the place they call the Drowning Pool. With the same propulsive writing and acute understanding of human instincts that captivated millions of readers around the world in her debut thriller, Paula Hawkins delivers an urgent, satisfying read that hinges on the stories we tell about our pasts and their power to destroy the lives we live now. The novel is already wowing critics. Paula Hawkins does it again! Into the Water is a moody and chilling thriller that will have you madly turning the pages. "A gripping, compulsive read!" Shari Lepena, bestselling author, said.

‘Fame Academy’ star Lemar is performing at the Teatro Auditorio Felipe VI in Estepona on June 24. Lemar received critical acclaim after appearing on the hit BBC talent show in 2002 and went on to have a successful solo career with 4 chart topping albums whilst netting two Brit Awards and three MOBO’s in the process. He has also been helping out as an Ambassador on a great new Costa Del Sol talent initiative - Rising Stars - organised by Louise Gibson and Adele Blaney, co-founders of events management company Diamonds & Pearls, in the aim of launching a bright singing star’s career. Marbella Rocks caught up with Lemar to find out about giving back, the fame and, of course, the music.

What made you decide to get involved with Rising Stars?

I think any initiative that encourages new artists to find a platform to be heard and promoted should be supported. I like hearing and supporting new artists, especially those early in their journey, so it was an easy decision for me.

Does it feel good to be giving back/helping other young stars achieve their dreams? Yes I always try to do what I can when it comes to young artists. A little inspiration goes a long way.

What songs will you be singing as part of your repertoire on your June 24th Concert?

I'll be doing the songs that people would know me for hopefully the kids will remember the songs and get involved. It should be fun.

What song is the biggest crowd pleaser in your opinion and why?

‘Dance With You’ usually gets people going. Maybe because it’s the first single I released so... the penny fully drops when that one lands. That and probably... ‘5050.’

Have you been working on any new material recently?

Yes I'm always in the studio, always creating new music. I have a few things I'm excited about. Hopefully you'll get to hear them soon.

What inspires you musically?

Life. Living. Meeting people and hearing their stories. We all have so much in common regardless of background. That stuff inspires me.

What was it like competing in the BBC One show ‘Fame Academy’?

Life changing obviously but very surreal. It’s never an easy (or normal) thing to be filmed 24 hours a day for 3 months. But I'm glad I did. It played a big part in changing my life for the better and allowing me live out my dream of being a recording artist.

How did you cope with fame at such a young age?

I don’t feel I got it that young to be honest. However I have a good base of family and friends that always keep me and perspective in check. I think that counts for a lot. Family and friends.

Despite coming third in the competition you are the biggest star, are you still in touch with the other contestants?

On and off - I'm in touch with a few. They're all fine - living life and doing the do.

What advice would you give to the Rising Stars?

Don't just talk the talk, walk the walk. Make sure you practice your craft every day and be the person / artist you set out to be. There are many hurdles along the way and the saying goes that 'hurdles are there to stop the people who don't really want it'. Do you really want it?

You have won 2 Brit Awards and 3 Mobo's - what was it like winning these prestigious awards?

It was great. It’s always nice to be recognised for any hard work that you put in. There’s nothing like spending time creating something that people eventually get to appreciate.

What plans have you got for the future? More music, more life, more living.

The inimitable Tinie Tempah shot to prominence in 2010 when his debut single ‘Pass Out’ hit the number one spot. More huge crossover hits followed in the shape of his second number one and Stateside breakthrough track ‘Written in the Stars’, as well as ‘Frisky’, ‘Miami 2 Ibiza’, ‘Invincible’ and ‘Wonderman’ – all of which featured on his debut album ‘Disc-Overy’ which went straight to number one. Numerous awards followed, including Best Breakthrough Act and Best Single at the BRIT’s; Best Newcomer at the MOBO’s and an Ivor Novello for Best Contemporary Song - all of which underlined his status as one of the most important artists of his generation. For his second album, 2013’s ‘Demonstration’, Tinie decided to return to his roots, recording the entire album in the same Greenwich studio he’d made street hits like ‘Wifey’ and ‘Tears’. He also refused to settle for anything less than perfection; he had songs re-produced, re-mixed and re-vocaled numerous times until he was 100% certain they were perfect. He also enlisted Manny Marroquin, engineer for everyone from Tupac to Kanye and Usher, as well as collaborations including Dizzee Rascal, Tom Rowland of The Chemical Brothers, Naughty Boy, Emeli Sandé, Paloma Faith, Laura Mvula, 2 Chainz and John Martin. After the release of ‘Demonstration’, Tinie once again hitting the upper reaches of the charts with crossover singles such as ‘Trampoline’ and ‘Children of the Sun’, Tinie’s guest features extended with two more number one smashes with Cheryl Cole’s ‘Crazy Stupid Love’ and DVBBS & Borgeous’s ‘Tsunami (Jump)’. As a prominent figure in British fashion, Tinie was named Best Dressed Man in GQ’s Men of the Year Awards 2012, and in 2013 was selected as the ambassador for the London Menswear Collection. More recently Tinie featured in the BBC arts series Private View in which he examined Alexander McQueen’s Savage Beauty costume exhibition. As well as famously high-fivin’ none other than Prince William at 2014’s BAFTAs, Tinie’s highest profile live shave included the closing ceremony of the Olympics; every major festival from Coachella to Glastonbury; as well as supporting the likes of Jay-Z, Usher and Rihanna. His most recent UK arena tour included a triumphant homecoming show at London’s O2 Arena. Tinie Tempah made a sensational return last summer with the release of ‘Not Letting Go’, his first new track since the release of ‘Demonstration’. ‘Not Letting Go’ contrasting Tinie’s charismatic flow with a soaring pop hook courtesy of Jess Glynne, it became Tinie’s 6th UK number 1. He quickly followed this up by guesting on KDA’s ‘Turn The Music Louder (Rumble)’ together with Katy B. His inimitable party rousing style on this club banger helped deliver his

7th UK Number 1. Tinie has now had as many UK Number ones as Michael Jackson, U2, Kylie, Robbie Williams and Elton John, and is the artist with the most UK number ones this decade. Tinie then concluded 2015 by revisiting his underground roots on the ‘Junk Food’ mixtape. Released on the independent Disturbing London label, it featured guests including Giggs, Big Narstie, Stormzy and JME. In April 2016, Tinie stormed back into the upper reaches of the charts with ‘Girls Like’ which featured Swedish vocalist Zara Larsson and has since sold 500,000 copies. Together with a sell out O2 Academy Brixton show, it proves that Tinie is on a high and back at the top of his game – something that he celebrated by reprising his renowned Disturbing Ibiza party at Ushuaïa Ibiza during residencies in June and September. ‘Girls Like’ was followed by ‘Mamacita’, a summer explosion of Latin rhythms and swinging salsa grooves which finds Tinie weaving his distinctive rhymes around a hook courtesy of guest artist Wizkid. Tinie has spent the majority of 2016 writing and producing new material in his home studio. The result is that ‘Youth’ – set for release on January 27th is an album that’s infused with ideas relating to its title, but also one that brims with the playful and uplifting aspects that fizzled throughout ‘Discovery’. The album is already packed with hits in the shape of ‘Girls Like’, ‘Mamacita’, ‘Turn The Music Louder’ and ‘Not Letting Go’. “I wanted to give a nod to all of the genres of music I heard growing up that made me want to be a rapper,” explains Tinie. “The good thing about being from London is that you hear so many different styles of music, and are exposed to so many different things. I wanted to make an album that felt nostalgic with elements of those big British sounds from different genres, whether that was garage, grime, hip-hop or R&B.” Tinie concludes the year with a month-long European tour that calls at ten different countries – hitting the MTV Gibraltar Calling in September 2-3rd to join a stellar line-up of artists including Bastille, Kaiser Chiefs, Fatboy Slim and Charli XCX. To book tickets for the event and see Tinie in action visit www.gibraltarcalling.com.

THE MODERN DATING GAME W

Words by: Athina Eleftheriou hen I was younger, I had always dreamed about dating a boy in a 50’s America, Pleasantville type situation. He’d pick me up, we’d go see a movie and afterwards we’d go to the local diner and share a milkshake with two straws. He’d drop me off at home, walk me to my door, kiss me, and then we’d be going ‘steady’ - whatever that means. We millennials have now created a culture where our lives revolve around being online. Even dating. We think that, ‘Netflix and Chill’ is an acceptable first date when we know that there is going to be no Netflix or no Chill happening. We have lost interest in intimacy and would rather settle for a one-night stand where the guy comes and goes (quite literally) and then we don’t hear from him again until our phone lights up at 3am two months later with a text from him saying ‘hey, wyd?’ The problem we face with everything being online is that we don’t actually know how to meet people anymore. You can’t meet a guy in a bar anymore without him expecting an invite back to your house because he’s bought you a vodka and lemonade. So we sign up to Tinder, Match.com or Plenty of Fish telling ourselves we’re doing it in a tongue and cheek kind of way. We choose our 5 best pictures, spend a good 10 minutes wondering what to put in our bio before just settling on our occupation and then begin to swipe. After matching with a couple of guys getting the usual, ‘hey, you ok?’ you get one with an interesting opening line. You exchange a number of pleasant messages back and forth, share a bit of banter and you start to think, ‘Oh this guy’s alright.’ Then you get the message that ruins it all – “send nudes?” Unmatch. I suppose it’s better than an uninvited d**k pic.

features In a survey I conducted based around online dating experiences, when asked, “What were your reasons in signing up?” one respondent answered, “I wanted to get balls deep in some vag.” Stay classy. Fifty percent of people signed up out of boredom, whilst 37% did it because their friends encouraged them, with an additional 37% admitting to using it to find a boyfriend/girlfriend. There might be an occasion when the conversation goes so well that you get a date that does not take place in his bedroom. In comes the Catfish fear. What if he looks nothing like his pictures? What if it’s awkward or we having nothing to talk about? Your friends will inevitably force you to go; you meet up at a bar because who actually goes for romantic dinners anymore? The date goes surprisingly well, you exchange flirty banter (aka flanter) over a couple of glasses of wine and you might end the night with a drunken kiss. You go home, tell your friends, send him a text saying you had a great time, he replies saying me too and that you should do it again soon. But he doesn’t text again. You can’t text him because you texted him first last time and you will just seem desperate. Then you log onto Tinder and see that he was last active 15 minutes ago. So it leaves you thinking, ‘What did I do wrong?’ We live in a generation where people are scared to talk about their feelings. We would rather be strung along than tell him we like him or ask the dreaded question, ‘What are we?’ Maybe you have decided you’re, ‘seeing each other.’ But let me tell you something, that isn’t a real thing! It’s an excuse. It’s a fear of commitment. If both of you are exclusive then just cut the BS and admit you’re in a relationship. It’s a relationship, not a marriage. What even is ‘seeing each other’ anyway? I have been single for 20 of my 22 years on this planet and so it is safe to say, I have the modern dating thing down to a tee. It’s hard. It’s hard trying to find someone who is committed to you in a world of people just wanting a night with you. Maybe it’s just me? Maybe it’s because I’m a traditionalist and a hopeless romantic that dreams of the fairytale ending. It just so happens that I got my happy ending on Tinder. Three failed years and I became an official Tinderella. But I have most definitely had my fair share of terrible Tinder experiences and dates - from somebody spiking my drink, to someone not getting the hint I don’t like them and enough unwanted d**k pics to last two life times. I am not saying The Modern

Dating Game is an entirely bad thing, in fact 30% of the people surveyed were in a relationship with somebody they met through online dating. It’s just sad that we only seem to meet people when we’re either drunk, on a dating app or sometimes both at the same time. Where is the human connection? People are too scared of intimacy and commitment because they would rather go on a night out and hook up with a bunch of people than tell somebody how they feel. We need to change, we need to stop being scared to text first, we need to stop letting people string us along, we need to tell each other how we feel. But most importantly, we need to stop Netflix and Chilling.

Everyday our Instagram feeds are bombarded with images of our idols living the VIP life – premium parties, prestigious purchases and lavish luxuries that seem out of reach for us ‘mere mortals’. INVEST IN THE BEST In order to look like you are wearing Prada when you may be akin to sporting Primark it is important to pull your look together carefully and not scrimp on key items. Be fussy when buying watches, handbags and small leather goods. These are the key giveaways to perfecting a look that wouldn’t make you appear out of place in the VIP area. To be a savvy shopper pick up good deals in outlet stores especially designer ones online such as Ebay and ASOS, if you are willing to rummage TK Maxx is a God send. Believe it or not you can pick up designer items in great condition in charity shops. If you want to find hidden gems second hand, make sure to head to expensive postcodes, rich people need to revamp their wardrobes and why not nab their cast offs and donate to charity in the meantime. The art to looking chic in high street, is to stick to structured staples that look timeless and effortless. You don’t want them to look cheap next to your more expensive pieces. Think monochrome to channel Chanel and cigarette pants and power suits to look like you have

just stepped out of YSL. To preserve your items whether high street or designer be sure to store them properly. Keep handbags in their dust bags and stuff them with white tissue paper or brown paper to keep their shape, also do this with boots to stop them sagging whilst in storage. It takes time to keep things looking pristine but

it is worth it to stop them looking tired, overused or worn out to death. You will rarely see a celeb wearing the same thing twice; however, this isn’t possible for normal people. By keeping items in tip top shape and mix and matching day to day you can look as if you wouldn’t be out of place on the hottest guest list or private jet.

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Sign up to save There are many websites to use in order to snap up deals for holidays, weekends away and even household goods. If you budget by using these websites you can enjoy treats without breaking the bank. Secretescapes. com is good for snapping up getaways and Air bnb has some lovely places available. You can rent an apartment for a city break or a room in a cute countryside cottage – there is lots to choose from without entering your overdraft. Always remember to pop a bottle of bubbly you have picked up from duty free or the supermarket in your luggage so you can sip in style in your room when you arrive. This also means you will avoid rummaging through the overpriced mini bar and leave you more cash for fancy cocktails poolside. Groupon is the website to head to if you are wanting to do a glam day out. Whether it is enjoying a spa day, afternoon tea or lobster and steak dinner you are sure to find a voucher on there for a fraction of the usual cost. Bottomless brunches are

popular at the moment and are all over Groupon. This is a great way to make a mundane day fabulous whilst catching up with friends, enjoying unlimited booze without having to budget. In Marbella, sign up to a Rocks VIP card to receive up to 50% off the top local restaurants, bars, clubs, fashion boutiques, hairdressers and much more.

Closer to home, Wowcher is the mailing list for you if you want to keep your household costs down. You will usually find all the items you need to keep your haven stocked up like your favourite hotel. Most items are available in bulk such as cleaning products and beauty items and at a highly discounted price.

It’s not what you know, but who you know Planning ahead is key in order to unlock the door to all the hottest venues and guest lists, whether you are staying local or heading away. Make sure you get in touch with promoters and venues to see what deals they have, or if they can offer a group discount and always ask what they can do – after all you are bringing people in. Social media is a fantastic way to get hooked up, search hashtags for the places you would like to see and you are sure to stumble across promoters who are on the hunt for vodka vultures to fill their table! Choose wisely when ordering drinks. Most of the time it’s more cost effective to order bottles between a group with shared mixers rather than all ordering individually. Having a bottle delivery to you also will make you feel like you have gained celebrity status. You too can live it up like a baller and not end up being broke!

54 MARBELLAROCKS | ISSUE 31

In order to enjoy the high life on a low budget the key is to plan, you need to be your own PA to keep an eye on upcoming offers, deals and hot events. By planning ahead, you can ensure that you are not caught short of missing key information for reservations. Such as if there are any restrictions to your bookings and if any vouchers need to be printed or downloaded ahead of time. Always double check a booking ahead of time and by calling the venue you often can ask for the best spot in the joint. If all else fails then one of my favourite tips is to hang around the fancy spots with your group of friends. Think the marina where the yachts are docked and enjoy a coffee while you people watch. You will be rubbing shoulders with the elite and who knows someone may even invite you to a party…

e’ve all heard about make-up contouring… Victoria Beckham, Kim Kardashian and Angelina Jolie thrust the art of make-up application to highlight their bone structure into the limelight in 2015 and made us mere mortals follow their every make-up brush sweep in the hope of getting the perfect cheekbone, slimming a wide nose or perfecting our pouts. While make-up contouring is not new news, hair contouring is fast becoming a mainstay on the hair and beauty scene and has exactly the same principal at hand… carefully placed highlights and lowlights can help define and change your face shape and therefore your overall look.

HAIR & BEAUTY Let me explain in more detail… Colour contouring can be beneficial for everyone and a plus point being you don’t have to drastically change your existing colour to make it work for you. First of all you just analyse your face shape, be it Square, Heart, Round, Oblong or Oval and follow these simple salon contouring tricks, as applied by myself or one of my fully qualified team at Bliss to get it just right. Colour contouring is a colouring technique specifically used to accentuate or soften facial features. Much like the make -up technique, hair colour contouring uses darker tones to add depth to areas that you want to appear softer or more drawn in, and lighter shades to enhance other areas or make them appear brighter.

Square Face

Square faces tend to have wider facial features so multi-tonal layers of both light and dark shades are applied to the corners of the face, mainly around the temples to add more depth creating a more rounded effect.

Heart Face

Heart face shapes are more like an inverted triangle and point slightly at the chin. To create a more softened and less angular look the roots need to be darker and the mid lengths and ends lighter. This drastically softens the lower half of the face.

Round Face

Round faces have strong bone structure so light tones are applied from hairline from ear to ear elongating the face while darker shades are placed underneath giving the face shape more of a point and with that definition.

Oblong Face

Oblong shaped faces are slimmed down with deeper tones applied to the parting or roots and jawline and lighter tones applied to the lengths.

Oval Face

This is the most common face shape and easiest to do. The concept of colour contouring is designed to balance out a variety of face shapes to make them appear more oval. Lucky you ovals! Add depth with colour, either highlights or lowlights throughout to accentuate your oval shape. An important thing to remember about colour contouring is that it doesn’t mean that your existing colour isn’t amazing. Colour contouring means we can add a slight twist; personalising your colour or those foils to suit you even better. The change can be as subtle or as dramatic as you want it to be!

SQUAT PROBLEMS? The newest edition to the booming fitness industry on the coast, Luke is owner and coach of Marbella´s first “women´s only outdoor boot camp company” – Miss Fit Marbella. Luke specialises in fitness for women, (weight loss and toning) and is a strong believer in training outdoors, which is why, all of his sessions are based on the beaches of Marbella, Puerto Banus and Nueva Andalucia. Expect to find articles that focus on exercise for the female sex, tips on how to achieve your body goals, help on those stubborn problem areas, education of nutrition and lifestyle and how exercise doesn’t have to be boring! “Don’t mistake fitness for a gym! Fitness is more than that, it is a lifestyle and can be anywhere or everywhere!”

A

s the owner of a beach boot camp, I see a lot of squats daily! And I see a lot of bad squats daily. Last week I watched a 5, maybe 6 year old sit in a perfect squat position for about 5 minutes and it was effortless. But for the majority of adults, the squat is an extremely hard position to execute correctly. After years of bad posture, bad flexibility and weak, unstable joints and muscles, we quickly lose the ability to squat like we did as children! Form and range of movement are paramount behind getting that perfect derrière. There are 3 main areas that limit us from being able to squat correctly and allow us to get our bums parallel to the ground. 1. Hip Mobility 2. Hamstring Flexibility 3. Ankle Mobility I am going to take you through each problem area informing you how to improve your squat!

82 MARBELLAROCKS | ISSUE 31

STOP READING… put this article down and perform a squat! Could it be better?! Well, if you follow this guide ¨I PROMISE YOU¨ your squat after stretching our 3 problem areas will be deeper immediately.

In addition, poor hip flexion can create an anterior pelvic tilt, which can lead to a forward tilt as you go down into the squat.

Hip Mobility

We can stretch out the hip flexors by using a simple stretch in which our front leg is bent, knee in line with the ankle joint and your other leg stretched out as far back as possible. Ensure your hips are in line with your shoulders, as it is common for the back leg to allow the hip to rotate laterally (outwards) decreasing the stretch put on the hip flexors. Slightly bounce and drive forward (ballistic stretching) for 30-45 seconds x 2 on both sides.

At the bottom of a squat there is a large amount of hip flexion so it is essential your hip joint mobility is good. Without it, you may not be able to squat parallel and come as low to the ground as you want. With a deeper squat and larger range of movement we can gain much better results and target the correct muscle whilst doing so.

Tip:

Stretch to extend your ability of hip flexion

HEALTH & FITNESS

Hamstring Flexibility

This is a controversial one in the field but hamstrings connect to two joints, hips and knees, both of which are involved in our movement and they directly control hip flexion. As someone with short hamstrings, I really feel a pull as they lengthen during a squat, stopping me from being able to control my hip flexion and get deeper. The result, tilting forward, putting pressure onto my back and over working my quads. We want to keep the weight on our heels. Tip: Stretch to lengthen your hamstrings Start with one leg straight out in front of you, your other leg bent, (with your foot resting into the knee of the leg that is straight). Keep your back straight, shoulders back and head forwards. Pivot at the hips and lean forward. Both sides x 2 for 30-45 seconds. You can perform these exercises before, during and after you squat. If it is before, we normally want to make sure our muscles are warm when using a static stretch. Therefore, you may want to use a walking lunge to stretch before squatting (20 either side).

Ankle Mobility

Maybe the least known restriction but most common amongst clients struggling to perform a good deep squat. Poor ankle mobility can create an inability for your shin (tibia) to move forward. We cannot gain the same range of movement and tend to compensate with a bending forward of the back to get lower. Often poor ankle mobility is from flexibility problems from the calf. Therefore, it is advisable to foam roll your calves before squatting.

84 MARBELLAROCKS | ISSUE 31

Tip: Stretch your ankle joint to increase range of movement Have one foot planted and bring your knee over the same foot as far as possible, keeping your heel firmly on the ground. With one hand, holding your heel down, push your knee forward as far as it can go, testing the range of movement you currently have. Repeat both sides 3-4 times for 30-45 seconds. You can place your back leg however you feel comfortable. Before I leave you, I have compiled my favourite 5 bum exercises to give you an all-round peachy behind!

• 4 rounds • 1 minute on each • 15 seconds rest between exercises

Happy Squatting People and Congratulations on your soon to be perfect booty!

n the heart of San Pedro De Alcantara you will find Mr. Gourmet Burger. The name speaks for itself, and one visit here will definitely entice you to return and enjoy the most delectable, gourmet burgers on the coast.

Mr Gourmet Burger bar is a great daytime place to visit for lunch with a relaxed vibe for any age and for all you burger lovers an amazing dinner option. If you are visiting San Pedro or are in the area looking for a fun, friendly bite this is a good place to come.

Mr. Gourmet Burger has very friendly and attentive staff that will make your visit really pleasant. For those of you who need a helping hand in what to choose from the vast menu the staff can help you with their recommendations. You can enjoy your meal on the outdoor terrace where you can look out onto the new San Pedro Boulevard taking in the bustling scenery or you can sit inside the cozy indoor restaurant.

Not only for Burger loverS

Yes this place is ‘Burger Heaven’ where you can come and design your own burger just the way you like it. But there is also a great range of salads, mains, a selection of wines and cold beers so all can come and enjoy the Mr. Gourmet Burger experience.

Tried and Tested

So for indecisive me (I do have a problem choosing what to eat on occasions!) I asked Dario our waiter to help me pick a fantastic burger and eventually went for the “Wall Street Burger.” If you like your beef medium, rare or well done make sure you tell them exactly how you like it and they will get it spot on. I

opted for a Sesame Bun although there are five different types of bread and if you are gluten intolerant there is a choice for you too free of any additives as well as healthy, low cal options. Inside the Wall Street Burger was delicious smoked mozzarella cheese, crispy bacon, mushrooms, tomato, red onion, rucula salad and BBQ sauce. Just as grand as the name Wall Street this towering burger looked and tasted equally impressive - the beef was tender and juicy and cooked medium rare to perfection. For the second burger we chose “Le Brie” with lashings of beautifully ripe French cheese to this burger providing a perfect taste combination. We opted for a breadcrumbed chicken filet instead of beef this time - although there is also plain grilled chicken filet on the menu for health conscious diners. The breadcrumbed chicken filet was succulent and of a generous size - much to my hungry lunch companions pleasantly surprised face. We chose a Tomato Bread Bun to accompany the chicken – an interesting bread made with tomatoes and yes the bread is pink a sweeter taste to it - but perfect for this burger which also contained mayonnaise, tomato, salad and caramelised onions. For our sides we picked French Fries and Hand Cut Fries. I do really recommend the hand cut fries – being one of the best hand cut fries I’ve tasted - not too thick, very crisp and appetising. Even your sides get the gourmet treatment at Mr Gourmet Burger. We picked two accompanying dips; the Tzatziki dip was really fresh with Greek yogurt, cucumber and fresh mint and the second Lemon Aioli is perfect for garlic lovers with the lemon also complimenting the flavours of the chicken. After the burger and sides if you have any room left I can wholeheartedly recommend trying Mr Gourmet Burger’s impressive desserts. Our friendly waitress Estel recommended the Hot Chocolate Nut Brownie with Vanilla Ice-cream which

was not too sweet a choice and not too big to fit in after the burger mains. A must is the carrot cake, this was really beautiful; the sponge was soft and fluffy and the vanilla icing was creamy and plentiful. In case you didn’t know Mr Gourmet Burger is owned by the same restauranteur as Passion Café in San Pedro. The restaurant, which is a mainstay for locals, notoriously serves the best food and desserts in the area and has done so for 15 years now. You know you are in good hands with this professional team. So all in all my overall experience off Mr. Gourmet Burger was very good; delicious food, a great atmosphere with the outdoor terrace for al fresco dining coupled with

friendly staff makes it a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The food is also highly recommended and you will walk out feeling very satisfied and - another plus point if you need it (!) is you will have money left in your wallet as a meal at Mr. Gourmet Burger is extremely affordable. So don’t wait - come and design your own burger today.

art for

art’s sake TATTOOS AS ART

Are tattoo’s art? Well the millennial generation, where a staggering one in five have tattoos, would certainly have us believe so. But in the fine art world; tattoo auctions and museum exhibitions like the one pictured below are becoming increasingly popular these days. Added to this, auction house Guernsey’s, which sold President John F. Kennedy’s Cuban Cigars and underwear, has recently offered up a collection of 1500 images by some of the world’s foremost tattoo artists for between $50 and $50,000. Plus a recent traveling exhibition that left Richmond’s Virginia Museum of Fine Arts featured life-sized photographs of traditional Japanese tattoo art captured by the photographer Kip Fulbeck. In many ways, tattoos are fundamentally at odds with the fine art world which is based on displaying objects. And yet, it seems that given the popularity of tattoos these days, more art institutions will recognise the value and embrace the 1000-year-old art form. Artist Javier Romero from Ink Tattoo is one of those that wants to change the perception of “Tattoos as Art.” He is an acclaimed artist in Marbella and has a penchant for creating original artwork tattoos. He has a creative studio located in San Pedro de Alcantara offering a large space with a fantastic atmosphere and creativity at its heart. The studio, Javi Ink Tattoo, specialises in all styles of tattoos; Realistic, Colour, Black & White as well as Old School. With more than 8 years of experience, Javi offers a personal service advising his costumers what will make the tattoo they have in their mind a reality. All Javi Ink Tattoos are personalised

and unique and as he firmly believes are “original works of art.” The studio also provide a service of laser removal of old unwanted tattoos. Goodbye ex-girlfriends/boyfriends names! This technique also gives the possibility to redesign or update existing tattoos or simply remove existing ones. This section is directed by Jesus Sanchez. The process can sometimes be long but it is efficient and will leave no marks. Tattoos make an identity and Javier recommends you shape yours, take a visit to his studio to have a consultation with one of his professional team.

The focus is on what’s happening in your neighbourhood or even the world which begins right outside your front door. Siblings if you have them may also play a role – hopefully you won’t reignite that old rivalry, but news around a sibling could feature. Calls, messages, communications and dealing with the written word; what you say, how it comes across and to whom – especially via the internet, could be a determining factor. Thanks to these interconnected times you can find yourself dealing with or doing business with people on the opposite side of the world without leaving the house. There’s probably every opportunity to do just that this month but even if you don’t, expect the world, business or big news to come knocking at your door. The journey of 1000 miles no longer needs to begin with a single step – for you it could be just a mouse-click away.

What’s your true worth, Taurus? I’m not just talking in financial terms although money, assets, your salary, joint accounts and any resources you share with others, is likely to be up for negotiation now. It all begins however with the value you put on yourself, your skills and ultimately your self worth as this determines how you are treated. If you’ve been unclear about this or your stock needs an upgrade, expect people and circumstances to show you where an adjustment needs to be made. All this impacts on the bottom line quite literally as your bank account and self esteem could expand hand-in-hand or you have to face the fact that the Bank of You is now seriously in deficit. As with all things, don’t expect a magic wand bail out. The universe does not function like the IMF. What stands between you and the result you want, may be as simple as an self-appreciation upgrade and the ability to say ‘No’ when needed. The ’N’ word could be your stock in trade this June.

122 MARBELLAROCKS | ISSUE 31

Stumbling blocks to romance come tumbling down leaving you wondering if they were ever really there to begin with or just figments of your imagination? And where were all these potential lovers when you needed them? Suddenly your mojo is back like it never left. And with this comes the ability to see how others and lovers see you. Do you like the reflection? If you͛ve been complaining about someone of late the mirror may be showing you an uncomfortable truth in that this may be a reflection of something you have refused to acknowledge. Until now. Either things work wonderfully or else you know for sure this is going anywhere except where you want it to. That won’t matter as if you find yourself alone, this won’t be for long. Professionally you are also out to charm now and win people over with a lethal combo of stunning diplomacy, creativity and smarts. No wonder you may be travelling with your own personal entourage now. Pick and choose them carefully.

Work both paid and unpaid falls into focus as does those big questions such as ‘What’s my purpose?’ or ‘Does what I’m doing even have a purpose here at Amalgamated Nuts & Grommets?’. Working with meaning not just work for work’s sake and paying the bills could see you wanting to down tools and run off to Borneo to care for orphaned orangutans. Bhy all means do so (or its equivalent) if you a) have the resources and b) feel this is your calling. The rest of you however may decide on a less drastic route to work satisfaction either by letting people know you are ready for a bigger challenge or applying for it. Emotional and spiritual satisfaction from what you do will be more important than your pay cheque but don’t lose sight of the fact you have to eat. If yu’ve been looking for work or waiting to hear the results of an interview, it could now arrive as there’s a feeling of increased satisfaction coming in. In terms of that work/life balance however – if it’s out-of-whack don’t even try to over-analyse it. Just opt for whatever makes you feel good instead.

Expect friends to show their true colours this month and news that has been held up to finally arrive. You’ll either find yourself surrounded by like-minded souls or else looking at someone or even a group of people and wondering what on earth you have in common? Dealing with people on a grand scale, being in the spotlight, travel, people from overseas, the mass media, outdoors and animals could also play a role here. Time to record those moments this month – and I’m not just talking about from a selfie-snapping perspective but recording where, who, what and when you find yourself taken out of your everyday routine. There’s opportunity and huge potential around this and the more people you include in this the better. It’s not about ‘me’ but about the whole experience. Get ready to make some interesting new contacts and to let others go. If you’ve been waiting for results, an acceptance, an offer or to make that approach, pitch or application – this is now your month. Don’t hesitate.

What you have been working towards, building or establishing for yourself could either become a reality or else come down like your very own House of Cards this month. Either you laid the foundations – or you didn’t. Whatever your result, it’s time to take responsibility for it. So, either give yourself that well-earned pat on the back – and maybe crack open the champagne, or else concede you won’t be doing things that way in future. Big rewards could now be within your grasp, making that champagne well within your budget. Someone older than you or perhaps just older by experience, could either provide you with the advice you need or prove to be your hidden resource. Your reputation and image will be important and these pay a pivotal role in whether you attain the results you’re after. Whether you realise it or not, people in positions of power, authority and influence will be watching you this month. You never get a second chance to make a first impression so dress, act and speak to impress.

20 FEB – 20 MAR

Your image may be undergoing some kind of reinvention or even revolution. Is a new you emerging like a butterfly from a chrysalis? You may have been feeling of late that you’ve been through a process of disintegration. A bit like when Captain Kirk steps into the transporter and is broken down into quantum particles to be re-assembled seconds later. Or to return to that butterfly analogy, when a caterpillar changes into a butterfly it is broken down into cellular goop which then makes a whole new creature. You’re the butterfly now – not the goopy stuff. This new you has a craving for what – something or someone new, something bigger, bolder and filled with more life. If you’ve been ‘settling’– for that semi-okay job, relationship, life – whatever, suddenly it͛s no longer enough. There’s a call you’re being asked to answer and it begins by showing everyone this new you. The past is a trap now whether it’s people from it or those outfits lurking in the back of your closet. The only way is forward for you.

Have you given away your power, Scorpio? To a lover, a boss, a relative, your children (should you have them), your job, your money or even your possessions? What’s ‘owning’ you or who or what is pushing your buttons? There’s a spotlight being thrown on these issues this month and you might not like what you see. People’s true motivations will be laid bare and so will yours for that matter. Alternatively, you may have been ‘in the dark’ about just how powerful, strong and capable you really are – especially when it comes to driving your destiny in the direction you want it to go. Events allow you to not only see this, but take back control if you have allowed this to lapse in any area. If you’re in a situation where negotiations are called for you’re now not about to sell yourself short and are also prepared to walk away from the table if you’re not about to get what you want. Taking back your power on some level is bound to occur now with the result that nobody puts Scorpio baby in the corner anymore.

Do you need a bigger dream, Sag? If your dreams are not coming true it isn’t because you are dreaming an impossible one. It could be you need to upgrade it. The universe abhors a vacuum and loves a challenge. Thinking big, dealing with people on a large scale and above all, reaching for that star others say is unreachable could just prove to be your magic formula for success this month. On top of that your closest personal relationships are up for review – or lack thereof. If you’re a Sag sick of flying solo as this is your Billy Idol moment: “I don’t want to do it alone, I need you here with me now. I don’t want to wait for your love, I need you to save me now.͟ What I’m saying isn’t about neediness as that is not a cool look. But admitting a little vulnerability may actually bring others closer as people like to know they are needed – which has nothing to do with neediness. Your needs and what you want – back to those goals again, become your priority this month. Time to be honest about what they are – and to upgrade that dream if necessary. Don’t necessarily wait for someone to save you – save yourself.

There’s a lot going on beneath the surface with you this month but despite this it’s a good time to express rather than suppress what you’re feeling. In fact ‘putting a lid on it’ may end up being detrimental in more ways than one. What comes to the surface now – be it emotions you have suppressed, desires or dreams you have denied or fears you have kept hidden all come tumbling out. As will secrets – yours or anothers. You are advised to avoid getting drawn into anything clandestine as it͛s not likely to stay that way, and also if someone tells you something in confidence, keep it. People around you may not be quite what they seem to be so take your time with new acquaintances and above all, avoid anyone with any kind of addiction or mental instability as you will get drawn into their drama. It’s a time to set some spiritual goals as well as exploring a few soul truths. If you don’t feel like socialising but prefer staying in with a good book – or that box set, then go with that. This month sees an inner period of preparation take place and a decluttering of anything or anyone you no longer need. What are you preparing for? Find out next month.

Many of you could be travelling now or if not, this is an excellent month to lay those plans for doing so later in the year. June asks you to ‘go with the flow’ and not plan too far ahead – simply because something better may be just around the corner. Accept last minute invitations especially if they look to be taking you out of your usual circles or somewhere new. Groups and being part of something big could draw you into a new crowd and a new cycle of experience. This month is more about friendships and adventure rather than romance. That is not to say that the potential is not there but it may begin first as a friendship and evolve into something else over time. Ending up in the right place, at the right time, with the right company by various twists of synchronicity could put you in the path of someone destined to play a big role in your future. What this role is will be for you to discover so don’t try to second-guess it. This month asks you to be bold and experiment a little –or a lot. There’s chemistry and alchemy afoot now and the results could just be magic.

Don’t even think about trying to avoid attracting attention this month, Pisces. Especially when it comes to your job or professional expertise. People want you and only you making this an ideal month to dust off that CV and apply for that exciting new job, make that pitch or ask for that promotion. It’s not just the professional realm that sees you in demand either. Think exotic when you think about romance – either you attract an exotic lover from some far flung shore or there’s something about you that your new love interest finds just as exotic and interesting. Flings can be flung whether you meet on a desert island or doing business. You could find either your career, your love life or both heading in a new direction with very little warning. Be prepared to cut ties with anything from your past which has been holding you back from fulfilling your full potential. You’re being given the opportunity this month to make a major course adjustment if the path you’ve been headed down no longer brings the rewards you hoped for. Strike out for something – or someone new now.

Tiki themed venue ‘Mahiki’ has been a hit with A-listers including Beyonce, Jay Z and Lady Gaga in London for 12 years now. May 26 saw the launch of Mahiki Beach by La Sala (www.mahikibeach.com), a stunning beachside venue merging the two iconic brands. Marbella Rocks caught up with Claire Radford, a director of La Sala Group, to find out more about her and the new venue set to take Marbella by storm.

How did the joint venture with Mahiki and La Sala come about? They loved what we do, we loved what they do – mix it all up and throw in a Marbella Beach location – it just had to happen. Both companies share a similar ethos of quality, elegance and a large dash of fun, we were made for each other! What is the venue looking like? The torrential rain last month means we are currently behind schedule but it is on course to be a naturally beautiful Tiki style chilled beach club with a welcoming Chiringuito feel. We’ve gone back to our beach roots and are creating somewhere we would love to go. Lux comfort/feet in the sand- Perfect! What will set Mahiki apart from other beach club venues on the coast? The natural beauty of its location, the care to preserve that and the attention to detail in everything from décor to the care of the clients- including every plate and drink that they are served. The Mahiki team are fastidious in delivery and training of their Cocktails (which are unrivalled in my opinion). That level of professionalism makes them a pleasure to work with and will be noticeable. La Sala and Mahiki are known for their celebrity clientele – who is the most famous person you have met? Janet Jackson was probably the most memorable for the incredible presence

she had, George Clooney was nice but my favourites were Eric Sykes and John Challis. Legends of their time and incredibly humble. We hear you have had your brush with fame too appearing on the first ever series of Big Brother, do you still get spotted? Sometimes and I take it as a great compliment because it was 16 years ago, but I end up mumbling because I’m embarrassed!

My children and finding someone crazy enough to marry me! Best advice you’ve ever been given? Don’t worry about what everyone else is doing, worry about what you are doing. Funniest pick up line used on you? “Listen, I don’t have any chat up lines, so can we just ****?” - I’m not sure it was meant to be funny but I was crying with laughter as he actually stood there waiting for a serious answer. Best character trait? Honesty. Most embarrassing item in your wardrobe? Too many to choose from!

How did you handle the fame at only 25? I loved it! I looked at it as a “fifteen minute” adventure to be enjoyed while it lasted. Lovely to get a different perspective on the world and lovely for it to end also. Being famous is not all it’s cracked up to be. If you could only take three things to a desert island, what would they be? Bear Grylls, a radio and a raft. What´s your greatest achievement?

Worst habit? Being late. What do you do to relax? Absolutely nothing - with a glass of wine nearby. What couldn't you live without? Music, love and laughter. Best thing about living in Spain? Mañana culture. Worst thing? Mañana culture!
