J10 : Discretionary investment management Qualification Success Story There is no doubt that the financial services market has evolved over the years. Changes in regulation, technology and client expectations have forced firms to adapt and change their business models. To overcome many of the challenges faced, firms need to attract and retain high quality staff that are able to adapt to the ever-changing markets. That’s why we were delighted to hear how one of our students was able to take advantage of Kaplan’s flexible learning options to gain a J10 qualification whilst working full time. It is with great pleasure that we announce that our J10 : Discretionary investment management Qualification has been approved by the FCA. This approval allows us to deliver the qualification content to Apprenticeship Standards. Once an Apprentice has qualified, they will be granted a Level 4 Diploma in Paraplanning. The Level 4 qualification is appropriate for individuals who provide discretionary investment management services, advising on and/or managing investments, including portfolio management and stockbroking. Upon completion of their apprenticeship, they will be able to demonstrate that they have the practical knowledge and competency to work in this role. I have to say that the Kaplan study material was absolutely fantastic. The Qbank was so helpful and I found the Adapt exams brilliant too. It gave me confidence in what I knew and showed me what I didn't know.
