W ving triumphantly beneath the azure s ies, the Red, Whi e, and Blue s ands guard over the citizens of the future.

Bringing beauty o the many p ssers by as i lif s i s branches oward he s y is this Lombardy poplar ree.

The Roman Doric column symbolizing s rength and for i ude portrays he coopera ion of fellow studen sa C. S. H. S.

VIEWS AI hough only a support of stone, this column rises before he many incoming students li e a pill r of wisdom.

The newly erec ed addi ion o the chimney in i s lof iness reminds one of he heigh s which s uden s may attain.

The memory of a few minu es rela a ion under he spruce and he short-cut below i s branches will long remain.

n .ffltmoriam to <estfJtr <Cbltr Friendly, dependable, brillian , popul r hese charac eristics come to our minds when we hin of Esther Ehler, whose un imely dea h on New Year's day left a void in he senior class which can never be filled. Sincere friends admired her for he coopera ion she showed in her versatile activities. Her alert mind earned her one of the highes scholas ic averages in her class, even hough she was one of the younges members. When no busy with school ac ivi ies, Es her enjoyed comradeship wi h Tubby, he s ray dog ha found his master as fai hful o him as she was o her fellow s uden s.
