Sinds 1893 ligt in Amsterdam aan de Spaarndammerdijk begraafplaats St. Barbara. Een groene enclave in het Westerpark, er wordt nog dagelijks begraven. Het plaatsen van een asurn is uiteraard ook mogelijk. Er is een fraaie aula en de mogelijkheden zijn groot.

Deze gids is speciaal gemaakt voor de inwoners, werkgevers en werknemers van de Zuidas. De gids bevat informatie over de ontwikkeling van de Zuidas, gemeentelijke diensten, gezondheid, verkeer en vervoer, onderwijs en veel meer. Speciaal voor de expats is er ook een Engelstalig gedeelte. De gegevens zijn zorgvuldig geselecteerd en gecontroleerd. HUISARTSENPOSTEN Tijdens de avonden, weekenden en feestdagen werken de huisartsen vanuit vijf huisartsenposten, verspreid over Amsterdam. De huisartsenposten zijn alleen te bezoeken na telefonische afspraak 088 - 00 30 600. Openingstijden; op werkdagen vanaf 17.00 uur tot de volgende morgen 08.00 uur, tijdens de weekenden van vrijdag 17.00 uur tot maandag 08.00 uur en op feestdagen van 08.00 uur tot de volgende dag 08.00 uur. Tijdens de nachten (23.00 tot 08.00 uur) zijn alleen de huisartsenposten in Centrum Oost en West geopend. Het aantal horecagelegenheden, winkels, culturele, sporten zorgvoorzieningen neemt toe. BOUWPROJECTEN CROSSOVER Op de hoek van de afrit A10 en de Europaboulevard wordt Crossover gebouwd. In het gebouw komen kantoorruimtes, 120 sociale huurwoningen (60 voor startende studenten en 60 voorstatushouders.) Naast deze 120 sociale huurwoningen komen er in het gebouw tien koopstudio’s. Verspreid over de gebouwen komen er ook voor de bewoners diverse terrassen en op elke kantoorverdieping een groen terras. Medio 2023 moet het complex zijn opgeleverd. DE PULSE In de buurt Kenniskwartier wordt de Pulse gebouwd, een multifunctioneel complex bestaande uit kantoren, (culturele) voorzieningen en woningen, 151 middeldure huurwoningen en 49 huurwoningen in de vrije sector, waarvan 10 gardenlofts en 9 penthouses. kantoren en (culturele) voorzieningen. Ook komt er een parkeergarage met 125 parkeerplekken. De werkzaamheden duren naar verwachting tot eind 2024.

EDGE Stadium EDGE krijgt een grondige upgrade. Het gebouw wordt uitgebreid en vinden er binnenin het gebouw vernieuwingen plaats. In november 2022 moet het werk klaar zijn. Onderzoeksgebouw VU Het gebouw zal bestaan uit een hogere toren van 13 verdiepingen en daarachter een lagere van 6 lagen. Naar verwachting is de bouw in de zomer van 2023 gereed. Tripolis Het monumentale Tripolis-complex aan de A10 wordt herontwikkeld. Inmiddels is bekend dat Uber hoofdhuurder wordt. Het hoofdkantoor van dit bedrijf zal zo’n 30.000 van de beschikbare 45.000 vierkante meter beslaan. Naast kantoren en voorzieningen komen er later ook woningen. Eén van de huidige Tripolis-torens wordt in een volgende fase getransformeerd tot een woongebouw met sociale huurappartementen. Omdat Het Venster de torens afschermt van de A10, ontstaat een geluidsluw gebied dat zich goed leent voor wonen, maar ook voor sport en ontspanning. De (her)ontwikkeling van Het Venster en de renovatie van twee van de drie gebouwen van Tripolis en de ruimte eromheen is gestart op 17 februari 2020 en zal zo’n tweeënhalf jaar duren. De ontwikkeling van de derde (woon)toren volgt later.

STADSDEEL ZUID Stadsdeel Zuid bestaat uit een groot gebied met veel verschillen. Van het rustige en groene Buitenveldert, of de levendige Pijp, tot de indrukwekkende Zuidas. Het stadsdeel heeft meer dan 146.000 inwoners en is daarmee het op één na grootste stadsdeel van Amsterdam. Het dagelijks bestuur maakt deel uit van het algemeen bestuur van Zuid en bestaat uit drie personen. De leden van het dagelijks bestuur zijn benoemd door het college van burgemeester en wethouders. Maar Stadsdeel Zuid heeft wel meer jongvolwassen inwoners dan gemiddeld: 28% van de inwoners van Zuid is tussen de 20 en 34 jaar oud. Bijna 14% van de inwoners is ouder dan 65 jaar. In Zuid is ruim 60% van de inwoners van autochtone afkomst, wat hoger is dan het stedelijk gemiddelde van 51%. De overige 40% vindt zijn oorsprong in het buitenland. Stadsdeel Zuid heeft het hoogste gemiddelde besteedbare inkomen van Amsterdam, maar niet alle buurten in Zuid zijn even ‘rijk’: de verschillen tussen de buurten zijn groot. Zowel qua inkomen, als qua opleiding. Het opleidingsniveau van Stadsdeel Zuid is bovengemiddeld vergeleken met de rest van Amsterdam. Zeker 30,4% heeft een hbo-opleiding of hoger (18,4% in Amsterdam). En 45,4% heeft een mbo-opleiding of lager, in verhouding tot 60,9 % in Amsterdam. En met een werkloosheidspercentage van 5,6% heeft Stadsdeel Zuid, na Stadsdeel Centrum (5,2%), de laagste werkeloosheid. AFVAL Afvalpunten Amsterdam heeft zes Afvalpunten. U kunt hier van maandag tot en met zaterdag van 08.00 tot 17.00 uur gratis al uw afval kwijt. Het Afvalpunt op de Henk Sneevlietweg 22 elke zondag van 10.00 uur tot 16.00 uur open. U kunt online een afspraak maken (www.amsterdam.nl/afval-en-hergebruik/grofafval) voor het ophalen van uw grofvuil. U kunt voor een afspraak ook bellen met 14 020 (maandag tot en met vrijdag van 08.00 - 18.00 uur). De Kringloop haalt ook op Zijn uw spullen nog geschikt voor hergebruik? De Kringloopwinkel kan uw spullen in veel gevallen gratis ophalen. Ze komen bij u thuis op een dag en tijdstip dat het u uitkomt. GEMEENTEBELASTING Contact met gemeente belastingen Langskomen kan alléén op afspraak. Telefonisch contact Belastingen: 020 - 255 4800 (maandag t/m vrijdag van 8.00 - 18.00 uur). Voor algemene vragen, meldingen of klachten kunt u het mailformulier (www.formulieren.amsterdam.nl) gebruiken, mailen naar belastingen@amsterdam.nl of schrijven naar: Gemeente Amsterdam, afdeling Belastingen Postbus 23475, 1100 DZ Amsterdam BURGERZAKEN Adreswijziging Als u gaat verhuizen, moet u dit aan de gemeente doorgeven. U kunt dit online doen op de site van de gemeente. www.amsterdam.nl/burgerzaken/verhuizing-doorgeven. Hiervoor heeft u een DigiD nodig. U kunt uw verhuizing ook schriftelijk doorgeven. U heeft hiervoor een kopie van geldig identiteitsbewijs (een paspoort, Nederlandse identiteitskaart of rijbewijs), met hierop de foto en handtekening. een kopie van het volledige huur- of koopcontract. Als u antikraak gaat wonen: een kopie van de gebruikersovereenkomst. Indien u bij iemand gaat inwonen: een toestemmingsverklaring van de hoofdbewoner en een kopie van zijn of haar identiteitsbewijs. Met hierop de foto en handtekening. Vermeld ook uw oude adres in de brief. Stuur de brief naar de afdeling Dienstverlening – Verstrekkingen, Postbus 2214, 1000 CE Amsterdam. U kunt uw nieuwe adres al aan de gemeente doorgeven voordat u echt verhuist. Dit kan 4 weken van tevoren. Het voordeel is dat andere instanties dan op tijd op de hoogte van uw verhuizing zijn. U kunt uw verhuizing ook doorgeven als u al verhuisd bent. Dit kan tot 5 dagen na uw verhuizing. Als u uw verhuizing te laat doorgeeft, kan dit gevolgen hebben voor bijvoorbeeld huurtoeslag, studiefinanciering of uw parkeervergunning. Verhuist u naar een andere gemeente? Geef uw verhuizing dan daar door. De gemeente Amsterdam schrijft u uit. Emigratie Als u voor langere tijd naar het buitenland vertrekt moet u dat doorgeven aan de gemeente. Dit geldt als u de komende twaalf maanden acht maanden of langer in het buitenland verblijft. Het hoeft geen aaneengesloten periode te zijn. U wordt dan uitgeschreven van uw adres. Als u korter dan acht maanden naar het buitenland gaat, hoeft u dat niet te melden. Geboorteaangifte Bij de geboorte van een kind moet u aangifte doen bij de gemeente waar het kind is geboren. De gemeente maakt een geboorteakte op die in het geboorteregister wordt opgenomen. De akte is een bewijs van de geboorte en vormt de basis voor de Basisregistratie personen (BRP). De geboorteaangifte moet u doen binnen 3 dagen na de dag van geboorte. Als een van deze drie dagen in het weekend of op een algemeen erkende feestdag valt, dan wordt deze termijn verlengd tot de eerstvolgende werkdag. Wijkgids Zuidas 2022

Neem bij de aangifte het volgende mee: n een geldig identiteitsbewijs; n het trouwboekje/partnerschapsboekje indien van toepassing; n een afschrift van de erkenningsakte indien van toepassing; n een bewijs van eerder gedane naamskeuze indien van toepassing. U mag aangifte van geboorte doen als u de vader of moeder bent van het kind, u bij de geboorte aanwezig was of als het kind in uw woning geboren is. Naam wijzigen Een aanvraag tot het wijzigen van een achternaam moet u indienen bij Justis. Justis beslist namens de minister voor Rechtsbescherming of de achternaam mag worden gewijzigd. Voor een voornaamswijziging kunt u niet terecht bij Justis. Verzoeken voor het wijzigen van een voornaam moeten worden ingediend bij de rechter. Neem voor meer informatie contact op met een rechtbank bij u in de buurt. U moet de bovenstaande kosten voor de behandeling van uw aanvraag áltijd betalen. Ongeacht of de uiteindelijke beslissing van Justis positief of negatief is. Als u uw aanvraag intrekt worden de kosten niet terugbetaald. Voorwaarden De voorwaarden om een achternaam te wijzigen, zijn vastgelegd in het Besluit geslachtsnaamwijziging (www.wetten.overheid.nl). De regels voor het wijzigen van de achternaam van een meerderjarige en een minderjarige verschillen van elkaar. Aanvraagprocedure Wilt u uw achternaam wijzigen? Lees dan eerst de informatie in de Brochure Achternaamswijziging (www.justis.nl) goed door. Naamswijziging is namelijk alleen mogelijk in een beperkt aantal gevallen. Staat uw situatie niet in deze brochure? Dan is naamswijziging niet mogelijk. Komt u wel in aanmerking voor achternaamswijziging? Dan kunt u de aanvraag starten. U hebt een nieuw identiteitsdocument nodig als uw achternaam is gewijzigd. Een nieuw paspoort, rijbewijs etc. kunt u aanvragen vanaf het moment dat uw naamswijziging is verwerkt in de Basisregistratie Personen (BRP). Na de naamswijziging zijn uw oude identiteitsbewijzen niet meer geldig.

Rijbewijs aanvragen of verlengen Beginnersrijbewijs Wanneer je je eerste rijbewijs hebt gehaald, ben je een beginnende bestuurder. Het maakt niet uit hoe oud je bent. Of voor welk soort voertuig het rijbewijs geldt. Als je autorijbewijs je eerste rijbewijs is, ben je 5 jaar beginnend bestuurder. Heb je op je 16e of 17e eerst het rijbewijs AM (bromfiets/brommobiel) of T (trekker) gehaald, dan ben je voor 7 jaar beginnend bestuurder. Haal je op 17-jarige leeftijd ook het B-rijbewijs, dan ben je 5 jaar beginnend bestuurder. Dit gaat in vanaf het moment dat het rijbewijs B is afgegeven. Haal je vóór je 18e als eerste rijbewijs AM of T en op of ná je 18e het rijbewijs B, dan blijf je 7 jaar beginnend bestuurder. Dit geldt vanaf het moment waarop het rijbewijs AM of T is afgegeven. Beginnende bestuurders krijgen een beginnersrijbewijs. Dit is een gewoon rijbewijs, maar met een strafpuntensysteem voor zware overtredingen in het verkeer. Op de website www.rijksoverheid.nl vind je meer informatie over het beginnersrijbewijs. Dat geldt voor alle bestuurders. Het beginnersrijbewijs is bedoeld om het aantal ongevallen te verminderen. Rijlessen vanaf 16,5 jaar Het rijbewijs kun je halen vanaf 17-jarige leeftijd, maar je hoeft niet tot je 17e verjaardag te wachten om te beginnen met rijlessen. Volgens de regels mag je al rijles nemen vanaf 16,5 jaar, net als het doen van een tussentijdse toets. En je theorie-examen kun je zelfs al halen vanaf 16 jaar. Als je 17 jaar oud bent, dan mag je rijexamen doen. Als je slaagt, kun je het rijbewijs aanvragen bij de gemeente. Je rijdt dan tot je 18e altijd met een coach naast je, deze moet op je begeleiderspas staan. Op de pas kunnen maximaal vijf coaches worden vermeld. Die moeten voldoen aan een aantal voorwaarden. Kijk voor de voorwaarden op de website van de RDW. Puntenrijbewijs Voor alle bestuurders geldt het puntenrijbewijs. Hiermee krijgt u strafpunten voor rijden onder invloed. Daarnaast krijgt iedereen die voor het eerst een rijbewijs haalt een beginnersrijbewijs. Dit is een gewoon rijbewijs, maar met een extra element: een strafpuntensysteem voor zware verkeersovertredingen. Rijbewijs verlengen bij Stadsloket Als u uw rijbewijs verlengt, dan krijgt u een heel nieuw rijbewijs. Uw oude rijbewijs moet u inleveren als u het nieuwe komt ophalen. U kunt een afspraak maken bij één de 7 Stadsloketten. In sommige gevallen moet u eerst een Gezondheidsverklaring kopen en invullen voordat u uw rijbewijs kunt vernieuwen. Bijvoorbeeld als u ouder bent dan 75 jaar. Uw rijbewijs is na 5 werkdagen klaar. Doet u de aanvraag op maandag, dan ligt het rijbewijs de week erna op maandag klaar. In vakantieperiodes of door onvoorziene omstandigheden kan het langer duren. Als u wilt, krijgt u een sms zodra u het rijbewijs kunt ophalen. Bij een spoedaanvraag kunt u Wijkgids Zuidas 2022

uw rijbewijs in principe de volgende werkdag na 10.00 uur ophalen (als u de aanvraag vóór 14.00 uur hebt gedaan). Dit tijdstip kan per Stadsloket verschillen. Bij de aanvraag krijgt u te horen hoe laat uw rijbewijs klaar ligt. In uitzonderlijke gevallen kan een spoedaanvraag 2 werkdagen duren. Rijbewijs online verlengen n U kunt uw rijbewijs online verlengen via de RDW. De voorwaarden zijn: n U woont in Amsterdam en staat hier ingeschreven in de Basisregistratie Personen (BRP). n U hebt een geldig Nederlands rijbewijs. n U wilt uw huidige rijbewijs verlengen of u wilt een extra categorie op uw rijbewijs. n U hebt een iPhone 7 (en nieuwer). n U hebt een mobiele telefoon met NFC-chip en met Android, versie 6.0 of hoger. n U hebt de DigiD app. Met de app moet u eenmalig een controle uitvoeren op uw paspoort, rijbewijs of ID-kaart. U dient de volgende stappen te volgen: n U moet een pasfoto laten maken bij een fotograaf die erkend is door de RDW. Neem uw huidige rijbewijs mee. Bij de fotograaf zet u uw handtekening. Deze handtekening komt op uw nieuwe rijbewijs. De fotograaf verstuurt uw pasfoto en handtekening digitaal en beveiligd naar de RDW. Binnen een paar minuten krijgt u een e-mail van de RDW. Daarin staat of u uw rijbewijs online kunt verlengen of niet. n Ga naar www.rdw.nl/digitaalaanvragenrijbewijs en vraag uw rijbewijs aan. U logt in met de DigiD app. U kunt zelf kiezen bij welk Stadsloket u uw rijbewijs wilt ophalen. U betaalt met iDeal. Na 4 werkdagen kunt u uw rijbewijs ophalen bij het Stadsloket. U moet hiervoor een afspraak maken. Eisen rijgeschiktheid en medische keuring rijbewijs Om te mogen rijden, moet u geestelijk en lichamelijk gezond zijn. Soms moet u een formulier invullen met vragen over de gezondheid. Op basis daarvan bekijkt het CBR of u rijgeschikt bent. Zo nodig krijgt u een aanvullende medische keuring. U blijft altijd zelf verantwoordelijk om te voldoen aan de eisen voor deelname aan het verkeer. De Gezondheidsverklaring kost € 39,30. Wanneer beoordeling door het CBR? Het CBR houdt in de gaten of bestuurders fit genoeg zijn om te rijden. Het CBR kan uw rijgeschiktheid moeten beoordelen: n Doet u rijexamen? Dan moet u eerst een Eigen verklaring invullen. Als u één of meer vragen met ‘ja’ heeft beantwoord, wordt uw rijgeschiktheid onderzocht. n Bent u 70 jaar of ouder? En verloopt uw rijbewijs op of na uw 75e verjaardag? Om uw rijbewijs te verlengen, moet u een arts laten beoordelen of u gezond genoeg bent om auto te rijden. Op hogere leeftijd is de kans op lichamelijke problemen groter. En die problemen kunnen invloed hebben op het rijden. n Bestuurt u een vrachtauto (rijbewijs C) of bus (rijbewijs D)? Dan is de kans groot dat u veel uren op de weg zit. Ook zijn deze voertuigen groot en zwaar. Er is daarom een groter risico voor de

verkeersveiligheid. Daarom wordt u gekeurd als u uw rijbewijs verlengt. Ook nieuwe bestuurders worden bij de eerste aanvraag gekeurd. De keuringsarts is door het CBR aangewezen. Twijfelt u over uw rijgeschiktheid? Vraag het CBR dan om een beoordeling. Dan weet u zeker of u wel of niet veilig de weg op kunt. Het CBR beslist dan of uw rijbewijs nog geldig is. Op de website van het CBR vindt u meer informatie over de procedure bij het CBR. Het CBR brengt kosten in rekening. Ook zijn kosten verbonden aan een eventueel bezoek aan een (huis)arts of medisch specialist. De Nederlandse Zorgautoriteit (NZa) bepaalt de tarieven.

Bromfietsrijbewijs aanvragen Voor een bromfiets, snorfiets of brommobiel hebt u een rijbewijs nodig met categorie AM. Een bromfietsrijbewijs moet u persoonlijk aanvragen bij een Stadsloket naar keuze. U kunt de aanvraag alleen zelf doen. Het is niet mogelijk om iemand te machtigen om een bromfietsrijbewijs voor u aan te vragen. Voorwaarden n U dient in Amsterdam ingeschreven staan om hier een rijbewijs te kunnen aanvragen. n U moet minimaal zestien jaar oud zijn. n U dienst minstens 185 dagen in Nederland ingeschreven staan. n Als u nog geen Nederlands auto- of motorrijbewijs hebt, moet u geslaagd zijn voor het praktijkexamen bromfiets. Medische keuring niet nodig Voor een bromfietsrijbewijs hebt u geen Verklaring van (medische) geschiktheid van het CBR nodig. Rijbewijs kwijt/ gestolen Als u door diefstal uw paspoort, identiteitskaart of rijbewijs kwijtraakt, kunt u bij een Stadsloket naar keuze een nieuw document aanvragen. Bij het Stadsloket legt u een zogeheten ‘eigen verklaring’ af. Daarna kunt u een nieuw identiteitsbewijs aanvragen. Aanvraag per post Stuur een brief naar de afdeling Dienstverlening - verstrekkingen & Verificatie, Postbus 2214, 1000 CE, Amsterdam. Vermeld in de brief waarvoor u het uittreksel nodig hebt. Onderteken de brief en doe er een kopie bij van een geldig identiteitsbewijs van uzelf, bijvoorbeeld een paspoort, identiteitskaart of rijbewijs. U krijgt geen ontvangstbevestiging van uw aanvraag. Het uittreksel wordt na ongeveer drie weken opgestuurd. De postbezorging kan daarna twee dagen duren. Kosten Een uittreksel uit de Basisregistratie Personen (BRP) kost €21,40 (tarief 2021). Het uittreksel is gratis als u het nodig hebt voor een pensioenfonds. Hiervoor moet u de brief van het pensioenfonds bij uw aanvraag laten zien of meesturen (kopie of scan). Het uittreksel is ook gratis als u een toevoeging hebt van de Raad voor Rechtsbijstand. Verklaring omtrent het gedrag (VOG) Een Verklaring omtrent het gedrag kunt u nodig hebben voor een nieuwe baan, een visum of emigratie. Een werkgever kan om een VOG vragen voordat u wordt aangenomen. Een VOG is verplicht voor bijvoorbeeld onderwijzers, medewerkers kinderopvang en taxichauffeurs. Uit een VOG blijkt dat uw gedrag in het verleden geen bezwaar is voor de taak of functie die u nu gaat uitvoeren. Aanvragen bij het stadsloket Een Verklaring omtrent het gedrag (VOG) moet u aanvragen in de gemeente waar u woont. In Amsterdam gaat u hiervoor naar een Stadsloket. Online een VOG aanvragen kan alleen als de organisatie die de VOG van u wil hebben dit mogelijk maakt. Twee versies Er zijn twee versies: een VOG voor natuurlijke personen en een VOG voor rechtspersonen. Als individuele werknemer hebt u een VOG nodig voor natuurlijke personen. Met een VOG voor rechtspersonen kunnen bedrijven of stichtingen hun integriteit aantonen. Bijvoorbeeld voor het afsluiten van een contract of om lid te worden van een brancheorganisatie. Online aanvragen U kunt online een VOG aanvragen als de organisatie die de VOG van u wil hebben, die mogelijkheid aanbiedt. De organisatie die om de VOG vraagt, zet een aanvraag voor u klaar op de website van Dienst Justis. U krijgt een e-mail van Dienst Justis. Via een link in de mail kunt u de aanvraag afronden. Na ontvangst van de betaling neemt Dienst Justis de aanvraag in behandeling. U krijgt schriftelijk bericht over uw VOG. De levertijd is even lang als bij een aanvraag aan de balie. Om de aanvraag te kunnen klaarzetten heeft uw werkgever eHerkenning nodig.

Kosten Een VOG kost € 41,35. Een online aanvraag is goedkoper, die kost € 33,85 (tarieven 2021). U kunt gratis een VOG krijgen als u vrijwilliger bent en met minderjarigen gaat werken. De organisatie waarvoor u werkt moet hiervoor aan een aantal voorwaarden voldoen en de aanvraag moet via internet bij Dienst Justis worden gedaan. Kijk op www.justis.nl voor meer informatie. VERBLIJFSVERGUNNING IN NEDERLAND Veel expats die in Nederland (langer dan 90 dagen) willen wonen en werken, moeten een verblijfsvergunning aanvragen. Het type aanvraag dat u moet indienen, hangt af van uw nationaliteit en van uw reden om naar Nederland te verhuizen, zoals familie, studies, werk of andere doeleinden. Doel van het verblijf in Nederland De belangrijkste doelen voor het aanvragen van verblijf in Nederland zijn onder meer: n Als echtgenoot, (ongehuwd) partner of familielid. n Als werknemer of als zelfstandige. n Als kennismigrant of wetenschappelijk onderzoeker. n Als student aan een universiteit of instelling voor hoger onderwijs. n Als een student op een middelbare of beroepsopleiding. n Als afgestudeerde in een oriëntatiejaar. n Als onderdeel van een uitwisselings- of werkvakantieprogramma. n Als een au pair. n Als een buitenlandse belegger. n Als ondernemer op een startup visum. n Als vluchteling of asielzoeker. Raadpleeg de Immigratie- en Naturalisatiedienst (IND) om erachter te komen welk doel het beste bij uw situatie past . Heb ik een verblijfsvergunning nodig in Nederland? Of u een Nederlandse verblijfsvergunning nodig heeft, hangt af van uw nationaliteit en de hoeveelheid tijd die u in Nederland doorbrengt. EU-, EER- en Zwitserse burgers Burgers van EU/EER-landen en Zwitserland hebben geen verblijfsvergunning nodig om in Nederland te wonen en te werken, in overeenstemming met het EG-Verdrag. Expats uit deze landen hoeven zich niet bij de IND aan te melden. Als ze echter langer dan vier maanden in Nederland verblijven, moeten ze zich registreren bij hun lokale gemeente (gemeente). Familieleden van Europese burgers Op grond van de EU-wetgeving kunnen familieleden van EU/EER en Zwitserse staatsburgers die in Nederland wonen zich bij hen aansluiten, ook als ze geen Europees staatsburgerschap hebben.

Dit omvat echtgenoten en (ongehuwde) partners. In dergelijke situaties kunnen de gezinsleden een verificatie tegen EU-wetgeving aanvragen om een certificaat van rechtmatig verblijf te vragen als ze voldoen aan de vereisten van de IND (Immigratie- en Naturalisatiedienst) voor onderdanen van derde landen. Het is belangrijk op te merken dat deze optie niet van toepassing is op gezinsleden van Nederlanders, tenzij de Nederlander in een ander EU-land heeft gewoond. Kort verblijf: Nederlandse verblijfsvergunning niet nodig Een verblijfsvergunning en visum voor kort verblijf zijn niet verplicht als u minder dan 90 dagen in Nederland verblijft en uw staatsburgerschap een visumvrije overeenkomst met Nederland heeft. Als u minder dan 90 dagen naar Nederland komt en uw land geen visumvrije overeenkomst heeft met Nederland, moet u een visum voor kort verblijf aanvragen voordat u op reis gaat. U kunt een visum voor kort verblijf persoonlijk aanvragen bij de Nederlandse ambassade of het consulaat in het land waar u verblijft. Langere verblijven: Nederlandse verblijfsvergunning vereist Als u van plan bent langer dan 90 dagen in Nederland te verblijven, moet u een verblijfsvergunning aanvragen. Afhankelijk van de omstandigheden en de nationaliteit kunnen sommige internationals een verblijfsvergunning rechtstreeks bij de IND aanvragen nadat ze in Nederland zijn aangekomen. Anderen zullen een verblijfsvergunning en een voorlopige verblijfsvergunning (MVV) moeten aanvragen bij de Nederlandse ambassade of het consulaat in hun land van verblijf voordat zij naar Nederland reizen. De MVV-vergunning voor voorlopig verblijf Sommige internationals moeten ook een MMV-vergunning aanvragen als ze een Nederlandse verblijfsvergunning aanvragen. De MVV (Machtiging tot Voorlopig Verblijf ) is een voorlopige verblijfsvergunning waarmee je Nederland als potentiële inwoner kunt binnenkomen in plaats van als toerist. De MVV is geen officiële verblijfsvergunning. U of uw sponsor kan de MVV en de verblijfsvergunning tegelijkertijd aanvragen voordat u op reis gaat. Dit staat bekend als de TEV-procedure (procedure voor binnenkomst en verblijf ). Heb ik een MVV nodig? Uw situatie past in andere specifieke omstandigheden waarvoor geen MVV vereist is zoals geschetst door de IND. Sponsoring voor een Nederlandse verblijfsvergunning Sponsoring is vereist voor de meeste soorten Nederlandse verblijfsvergunningen. Voor sommige vormen van verblijfsvergunning zijn geen sponsors nodig, zoals het oriëntatiejaar voor afgestudeerden of sommige vakantieprogramma’s.

Wie of wat is een sponsor? Kom je naar Nederland als werknemer, onderzoeker of kennismigrant dan is je werkgever je sponsor. Als u om familieredenen komt, is uw familielid of partner in Nederland uw sponsor. Als je gaat studeren, dan is je onderwijsinstelling je sponsor. De IND en Nederlandse verblijfsvergunningen Alle Nederlandse aanvragen voor een verblijfsvergunning worden verwerkt door de IND (Nederlands departement Immigratie en Naturalisatie). In Nederland ingediende aanvragen kunnen rechtstreeks bij de IND worden ingediend. Aanvragen vanuit het buitenland kunnen worden ingediend bij de Nederlandse ambassade of het consulaat in het land waar u woont, of bij de IND door uw sponsor die al in Nederland is. Vereisten voor een verblijfsvergunning in Nederland De vereisten voor een verblijfsvergunning in Nederland lopen sterk uiteen, afhankelijk van je reden voor aanmelding en van het aanvraagformulier dat je indient. De toepassingsvereisten voor een kennismigrant die naar Nederland komt, verschillen bijvoorbeeld heel erg van de toepassingseisen van een familielid. Om erachter te komen welke eisen van toepassing zijn op uw specifieke omstandigheden, kunt u de IND raadplegen. Vereisten worden ook vermeld op IND-aanvraagformulieren. Hoe een Nederlandse verblijfsvergunning aanvragen zonder MVV Als u bent vrijgesteld van de MVV, kan uw sponsor namens u een verblijfsvergunning aanvragen terwijl u nog in het buitenland bent, met vermelding van uw verwachte aankomstdatum. Zodra de IND heeft laten weten een verblijfsvergunning af te geven, kunt u naar Nederland komen. Dan weet u zeker u niet voor niets naar Nederland reist. Uw sponsor kan ook een aanvraag indienen terwijl u al in Nederland bent . Alleen is dan nog niet zeker of u een verblijfsvergunning krijgt. Ook kan het lastig zijn om alle benodigde documenten in Nederland te krijgen. Als de aanvraag wordt ingewilligd, krijgt uw sponsor bericht wanneer de werknemer zijn verblijfsvergunning kan ophalen. Hoe een Nederlandse verblijfsvergunning aanvragen bij een MVV (TEV-procedure) Als u gelijktijdig een MVV en een verblijfsvergunning aanvraagt, kunt u de TEV-procedure volgen voordat u naar Nederland komt. Als u een sponsor in Nederland heeft, kunnen zij namens u het aanvraagproces starten. U kunt ook de TEV-procedure starten bij de Nederlandse ambassade of het consulaat of in het land waar u woont.

Nederlandse verblijfsvergunning aanvraagformulieren U vindt digitale versies van de meeste vergunningsaanvraagformulieren via de IND. Je kunt ook formulieren van IND Desks ophalen (op afspraak). Het is sterk aan te raden om vooraf contact op te nemen met de IND en met hen te overleggen over de vereisten voor uw aanvraag. Voor sommige vergunningen kan alleen een sponsor de aanvraag indienen. Ook als u een onjuist formulier indient of een MVV aanvraagt, maar dit niet kunt aanvragen, kan dit van invloed zijn op uw vermogen om in Nederland te blijven. Ondersteunende documentatie voor een verblijfsvergunning in Nederland Om uw aanvraag voor een verblijfsvergunning te ondersteunen, moet u documenten, zoals een geboorteakte, verzamelen om in te dienen bij uw aanvraag. Welke documenten u moet verstrekken, hangt af van het aanvraagformulier dat u indient. Elk formulier bevat de benodigde documenten. Officiële buitenlandse documenten moeten worden gelegaliseerd of een apostillestempel krijgen, afhankelijk van de relevante autoriteiten in het land van uitgifte. Documenten moeten in het Nederlands, Engels, Frans of Duits zijn. Andere talen moeten door een beëdigd vertaler in Nederland worden vertaald. Nederlandse verblijfsvergunningen en aanvraagkosten Er zijn kosten verbonden aan het aanvragen van een Nederlandse verblijfsvergunning of MVV. De hoeveelheid hangt af van het type toepassing. U kunt de prijzen bekijken op de IND-aanmeldingsKostenpagina (https://ind.nl/Paginas/Kosten.aspx). Beslistermijn van de IND Na het indienen van uw formulier en het betalen van de vergoeding, beoordeelt de IND uw aanvraag. De beslistermijn kan variëren, aangezien het de IND wettelijk is toegestaan maximaal 90 dagen in beslag te nemen om tot een beslissing over uw aanvraag te komen. Contact opnemen met de IND over uw aanvraag Wilt u de status van uw aanvraag weten? Dan kunt u bellen: 088 - 0430 430 (normale telefoonkosten zijn van toepassing) tussen 9:00 en 17:00 uur, van maandag tot vrijdag. Vanuit het buitenland is het nummer: +31 88 043 04 30. Vergeet niet om uw V-nummer (bestandsnummer) bij de hand te hebben en dat de IND-telefoonlijn soms lange wachttijden kent. Elke aanvraag heeft een wettelijke of redelijke beslistermijn. De IND kan deze hele termijn gebruiken voor de behandeling van uw aanvraag. Is de beslistermijn van uw aanvraag nog niet verlopen? Dan is uw aanvraag nog in behandeling. De IND kan u dan geen nadere informatie geven. te bellen op 088 - 043 04 30 (normale telefoonkosten zijn van toepassing) tussen 9:00 en 17:00 uur, van maandag tot vrijdag. Hoe u uw verblijfsvergunning kunt innen Als uw aanvraag wordt goedgekeurd, ontvangt u of uw sponsor een bevestigingsbrief.

Applicaties zonder MVV Als u al in Nederland bent, kunt u uw verblijfsvergunning ophalen bij een IND-loket. Bij deze afspraak verzamelt de IND ook uw biometrische gegevens, zoals uw vingerafdrukken, handtekening en pasfoto. Toepassingen met TEV-procedure Als u de TEV-procedure volgt en zich buiten Nederland bevindt, kunt u uw MVV afhalen bij de Nederlandse ambassade of het consulaat in het land waar u woont. Als u eenmaal in Nederland aankomt, heeft u twee weken om uw verblijfsdocument op te halen bij een IND-loket (ND-loket Amsterdam, Pieter Calandlaan 1, 1065 KH). Kennismigranten kunnen ook hun verblijfsvergunning ophalen bij IN Amsterdam (voorheen expatcentrum) World Trade Center, I-Tower, Strawinskylaan 1767, 1077 XX . Telefoonnummer: +31 (0)20 254 79 99. Alleen op afspraak. Verwerping van een Nederlandse verblijfsvergunningaanvraag Als uw aanvraag wordt afgewezen, stuurt de IND een brief met de redenen waarom zij geen verblijfsvergunning of MVV heeft afgegeven. De brief zal ook uitleggen of en hoe u een bezwaar kunt indienen. Verblijfsvergunning onbepaalde tijd (na vijf jaar) Als u definitief in Nederland wilt blijven wonen, kunt u een verblijfsvergunning aanvragen voor onbepaalde tijd. Wanneer u in Nederland een verblijfsvergunning voor onbepaalde tijd aanvraagt, dan kijkt de IND of u in aanmerking komt voor een verblijfsvergunning als EU-langdurig ingezetene. Als u al een verblijfsvergunning voor onbepaalde tijd hebt, dan kunt u ook een vergunning voor EU-langdurig ingezetene aanvragen. Met een verblijfsvergunning voor EU-langdurig ingezetene kunt u makkelijker een verblijfsvergunning aanvragen in één van de andere EU-landen die ook dit type vergunning hebben. U moet dan wel aan de voorwaarden voldoen die dat land heeft voor het verkrijgen van een verblijfsvergunning. Voorwaarden: n U woont vijf jaar of langer in Nederland met een geldige verblijfsvergunning. Dit geldt niet als u onder een uitzonderingscategorie valt. De IND kijkt naar de vijf jaar voorafgaand aan het moment dat u de aanvraag indient. Alleen de jaren vanaf het moment dat u acht jaar oud werd tellen mee. U kunt dus pas een verblijfsvergunning onbepaalde tijd aanvragen als u dertien jaar bent geworden en vanaf uw achtste in Nederland hebt gewoond met een geldige verblijfsvergunning. n U hebt aaneengesloten verblijf gehad in Nederland in de vijf jaar voorgaand aan indiening van de aanvraag. Dit betekent dat u in die vijf jaar niet zes of meer achtereenvolgende maanden, of in drie jaar achter elkaar vier of meer achtereenvolgende maanden, buiten Nederland hebt verbleven. n Op het moment dat u de aanvraag indient hebt u een geldige verblijfsvergunning. Dit moet een vergunning zijn voor een niet-tijdelijk doel. n U staat ingeschreven in de Basisregistratie Personen (BRP) van uw woonplaats (gemeente). U hoeft dit niet zelf aan te tonen. De IND controleert of u aan deze voorwaarde voldoet. n U hebt een zelfstandig voldoende en duurzaam inkomen. Wijkgids Zuidas 2022

U hebt het inburgeringsdiploma gehaald. Hiermee laat u zien dat u voldoende Nederlands kunt lezen, schrijven, spreken en verstaan. Soms hoeft u geen inburgeringsexamen te doen. Indien U meerderjarig bent, in Nederland geboren of bent u voordat u drie jaar werd in Nederland komen wonen, en hebt u sinds die tijd altijd in Nederland gewoond? Uw aanvraag wordt alleen afgewezen op grond van openbare orde of nationale veiligheid. n

Kosten Deze aanvraag kost € 192,00, voor minderjarigen kost de aanvraag € 64,00. STEMMEN VOOR EXPATS Nederlanders vanaf 18 jaar mogen stemmen bij verkiezingen, maar hoe zit dat met expats? Mensen zonder de Nederlandse nationaliteit die minimaal vijf jaar in Nederland wonen en in het bezit zijn van een verblijfsvergunning, mogen stemmen bij de gemeenteraadsverkiezingen. Voor mensen met een paspoort uit een van de lidstaten van de Europese Unie geldt deze vijf jaar-regel niet; zij mogen direct na hun verhuizing naar Nederland al stemmen voor de gemeenteraadsverkiezingen.

Het sociaal loket is alleen open op de stadsloketten en niet op de andere locaties. Alle inloopspreekuren zijn tijdelijk gesloten. U kunt alleen op afspraak terecht bij het sociaal loket. U kunt niet zomaar binnenlopen. Uw afspraak is op het sociaal loket. Maar uw afspraak kan ook telefonisch als u niet naar het sociaal loket kunt komen. Bijvoorbeeld als u coronaklachten hebt of om een andere belangrijke reden niet kunt komen.

VERGUNNINGEN, BESTEMMINGSPLANNEN Bestemmingsplan inkijken In een bestemmingsplan staan de regels van de gemeente over (ver)bouwen, het gebruik van gebouwen en het (grond)gebied van de gemeente. U kunt de bestemmingsplannen van de gemeente Amsterdam online bekijken op www.ruimtelijkeplannen.nl. U vult het adres in waarvan u wilt weten waarvoor het nu gebruikt mag worden volgens het bestemmingsplan. Bijvoorbeeld voor wonen, bedrijfsactiviteiten, verkeer of recreatie. Wet algemene bepalingen omgevingsrecht (Wabo) Wilt u bouwen of verbouwen? De fundering herstellen, een dakterras aanleggen, een nieuwe woonboot bouwen, een boom in uw tuin kappen? Of iets anders aan uw omgeving veranderen? Mogelijk heeft u een omgevingsvergunning nodig. De omgevingsvergunning is een vergunning voor bijvoorbeeld bouwen, wijzigen van een monument of het kappen van een boom. De omgevingsvergunning vervangt verschillende losse vergunningen, zoals de bouwvergunning. Het is mogelijk om in één aanvraag meerdere activiteiten op te nemen. In het omgevingsloket kunt u aangeven voor welke werkzaamheden u de aanvraag wilt indienen. Online aanvraag Voor een online aanvraag hebt u DigiD of eHerkenning nodig. Parkeervergunning voor bewoners U kunt de vergunning bij een van de stadsloketten, schriftelijk of online aanvragen op www.amsterdam.nl/parkeren-verkeer/parkeervergunning. Voorwaarden: n U moet in Amsterdam ingeschreven staan in de Basisregistratie Personen (BRP) op het adres waar u woont. De vergunning is alleen geldig in het gebied waar u woont. n U moet een auto hebben die op uw naam staat (of een lease- of bedrijfsauto, huurauto, camper, brommobiel, Canta of motor). n U moet een voertuig hebben dat voldoet aan de milieueisen. n U krijgt geen vergunning als er een parkeerplaats bij uw woning hoort. Vraag aan de verkoper of verhuurder of dat zo is. U kunt ook geen parkeervergunning aanvragen als u de mogelijkheid hebt of had om een eigen parkeerplaats te kopen of te huren. Een parkeerplaats voor gehandicapten valt hier niet onder. Kijk hieronder voor de uitzondering op deze regel. n Op sommige adressen krijgt u geen parkeervergunning. Vaak gaat het hier om (toekomstige) nieuwbouwprojecten en gebiedsontwikkelingen. n Er geldt altijd een maximum aantal vergunningen per adres. n U moet in een gebied wonen waar de gemeente nog parkeervergunningen uitgeeft. Een overzicht van deze gebieden vindt u bij de stratenzoeker. In sommige gebieden kunt u in plaats van een parkeervergunning een ontheffing voor de blauwe zone aanvragen. Parkeervergunning voor bedrijven U kunt de vergunning bij een van de stadsloketten, schriftelijk of online aanvragen op www.amsterdam.nl/parkeren-verkeer/parkeervergunning. Voorwaarden: n Uw bedrijf moet in een gebied liggen waar betaald parkeren geldt. De vergunning is alleen in dit gebied geldig. n Uw bedrijf moet ingeschreven staan in het Handelsregister van de Kamer van Koophandel. Het adres in de Kamer van Koophandel moet overeenkomen met het adres waarop u de vergunning aanvraagt. n U mag geen eigen parkeergelegenheid hebben. n Nieuwbouw bedrijfspanden krijgen geen parkeervergunning meer voor parkeren op straat, ongeacht de beschikbaarheid van parkeerplaatsen op eigen terrein. Op een aantal adressen kunnen geen vergunning voor bewoners of bedrijven meer worden verstrekt. Een overzicht van deze adressen (het ‘nulplafond’) kunt U op www.amsterdam.nl/ parkeren-verkeer/parkeervergunning/vergunninggebied bekijken. Parkeervergunning voor gehandicapte bewoners Met uw Europese gehandicaptenparkeerkaart kunt u gratis de Amsterdamse parkeervergunning voor gehandicapte bewoners aanvragen. Er zijn twee varianten van de kaart: bestuurder en passagier. U moet bij de aanvraag aangeven of u bestuurder of passagier bent. Dit hangt af van het type 34

Europese GPK dat u hebt. Het is niet mogelijk om beide varianten aan te vragen. U kunt de vergunning bij een van de stadsloketten, schriftelijk of online aanvragen op www.amsterdam.nl/ parkeren-verkeer/parkeervergunning. Wielklem Als u vijf of meer parkeerbonnen voor één kenteken hebt openstaan, kan de gemeente elk moment een of twee wielklemmen op uw auto plaatsen. De gemeente verwijdert de wielklem als u alle openstaande parkeerbonnen hebt betaald, plus eventuele vervolgingskosten én de kosten voor de wielklem. Het laten verwijderen van een wielklem kost € 194,- (tarief 2021) plus al uw openstaande parkeerbonnen. Betalen Als u een wielklem hebt, neem dan contact op met de gemeente via: 020 - 251 3787 (dagelijks van 09.00 tot 21.00 uur). Er komt dan iemand naar u toe zodat u per pin of creditcard ter plaatse de parkeerbonnen kunt betalen. U moet in één keer het hele bedrag betalen. Er is geen betalingsregeling meer mogelijk. Voertuig weggesleept Als uw geparkeerde voertuig het verkeer blokkeert, een onveilige situatie veroorzaakt of op een verkeerde plek staat dan kan de gemeente het voertuig wegslepen. Om na te gaan of uw voertuig inderdaad is weggesleept, moet u bellen met de gemeente Amsterdam via 14 020. Dit nummer is 24 uur per dag bereikbaar voor weggesleepte voertuigen. Uw weggesleepte voertuig kunt u ophalen bij Handhaving en Toezicht aan de Daniël Goedkoopstraat 9, 1096 BD Amsterdam, tel. 14020 (24 uur per dag geopend). Meenemen: U moet uw geldig identiteitsbewijs meenemen. U kunt bij Handhaving en Toezicht alleen met creditcard of pinpas betalen. Als u uw voertuig ophaalt, betaalt u de kosten van het wegslepen en voor de opslag. U betaalt € 373,- (tarief 2021) als u de auto binnen 24 uur komt ophalen. Zolang u de auto niet ophaalt, komt er na de eerste 24 uur € 30,- per 24 uur aan stallingskosten bij. Is uw auto weggesleept omdat u een wielklem had? Dan betaalt u naast de openstaande bonnen, ook de kosten van de wielklem (€ 192,-), het wegslepen (€ 373,-) en de eventuele kosten voor de opslag (€ 30,- per 24 uur extra) na 24 uur. U moet altijd eerst de wegsleep- en bezwaarkosten betalen voordat u uw voertuig terugkrijgt. Als u vindt dat u ten onrechte bent weggesleept, kunt u hier achteraf schriftelijk en online bezwaar tegen maken. Wordt u in het gelijk gesteld, dan krijgt u het geld terug. Bij Handhaving en Toezicht kunt u alleen met creditcard of pinpas betalen. Het is niet mogelijk met contant geld af te rekenen. CULTUUR EN RECREATIE Amsterdamse School Museum De Dageraad Amsterdamse School Museum De Dageraad in Amsterdam Zuid behoort tot de top van architectonische hoogtepunten van de Amsterdamse Schoolstijl uit het begin van de twintigste eeuw. Het gebouw werd ontworpen door Michel de Klerk en Piet Kramer en trekt bezoekers vanuit de hele wereld. De vaste expositie vertelt over de ontwikkeling van Plan Zuid van Berlage. Ieder uur kunnen de bezoekers een rondleiding door de buurt maken onder leiding van een gids. Bij Museum De Dageraad worden ambachtelijke workshops en lezingen gegeven en vertrekken vele excursies door de buurt. De Amsterdamse School is een belangrijke beweging op het gebied van ambachtelijke kunst, architectuur en volkshuisvesting. De stijl is te zien in een groot deel van Amsterdam en is beeldbepalend voor de stad. Er zijn in Amsterdam twee musea van De Amsterdamse School: Museum Het Schip in Amsterdam West en Museum De Dageraad in Amsterdam Zuid. Beide musea ontlenen hun naam aan de prachtige iconische Amsterdamse School gebouwen waarin ze gevestigd zijn. U kunt hier ook terecht om andere wijkbewoners te ontmoeten en om deel te nemen aan een van de vele activiteiten. Wat kunt u als ondernemer binnen het Huis van de Wijk doen? Als ondernemer heeft u belang bij een leefbare en prettige sfeer in de wijk. Het Huis van de Wijk wil samen met actieve en betrokken wijkbewoners hier een bijdrage aan leveren. SeniorWeb SeniorWeb Amsterdam Zuid is één van de vele leslokaties van SeniorWeb in Nederland, waar vijftig plussers worden ondersteund in het omgaan met computer, tablet en smartphone. SeniorWeb Nederland is een organisatie met ruim 150.000 leden, 3000 vrijwilligers en 400 leslokaties. Met de begeleiding van SeniorWeb kan iedereen makkelijker en beter zijn weg vinden in de digitale wereld, die steeds meer het dagelijks leven gaat beïnvloeden. SPORT & RECREATIE Amsterdamse Bos Boscross De Boscross is een conditiecircuit van 2,2 km met 18 trimtoestellen langs de route. De route start en eindigt bij de brug van de Duizendmeterweg en is gemarkeerd met blauwe paaltjes met de afbeelding van een trimmer met horden. Hardlopen In het Bos zijn drie gemarkeerde hardlooproutes uitgezet van circa 5, 10 en 21 km. Ze beginnen en eindigen bij De Boswinkel en volgen voor een deel dezelfde paden. De routes zijn en in het Bos gemarkeerd met oranje paaltjes. Een kaart is bij de Boswinkel af te halen. Veldlopen In het Bos is een veldlooproute (3 km) uitgezet. Door de ongelijke ondergrond en de hoogteverschillen van de Heuvel is dit circuit uitstekend geschikt voor recreatieve hardlooptrainingen. De route start bij paviljoen Chez Favié aan De Duizendmeterweg en is gemarkeerd met blauwe paaltjes met de afbeelding van een rennend mannetje in het gras. Fietsen Met de fiets kun je eindeloos het Bos verkennen: 50 kilometer fietspad slingert door het hele bos. Bij de entree van het Bos kun je een fiets huren. Kano- en waterfietsenverhuur Op de Grote Speelweide bij het Openluchttheater vind je de kano- en waterfietsverhuur. In de watergangen van het Amsterdamse Bos zijn met gekleurde palen twee kanoroutes uitgezet. Paardrijden in het Amsterdamse Bos Ruiters kunnen genieten van maar liefst 21,5 km aan ruiterpaden in het Amsterdamse Bos. Het nieuwe Meer Op het Nieuwe Meer aan de noordkant van het Amsterdamse Bos kun je ook watersporten. Zo kun je er zeilen, windsurfen, suppen en varen en zijn er ook diverse jachthavens. Voetballen Voetballen kun je overal in het Bos. Op diverse speelweiden worden ‘s zomers doelen geplaatst. Zwemmen Op verschillende plekken kun je zwemmen in het Amsterdamse Bos. Voor de allerkleinsten zijn er in het Amsterdamse Bos twee kinderbaden. Er is ook een officiële zwemlocatie in het Bos, de Grote Vijver dat een apart zwemgedeelte heeft. Wijkgids Zuidas 2022

It is one of the most important office locations in the Netherlands, and is growing into a lively residential area, mainly because more and more people are moving in. The number of catering establishments, shops, cultural, sports and care facilities is increasing. CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS CROSSOVER Crossover is being built on the corner of the A10 motorway exit and the Europaboulevard. The building will contain office spaces, 120 social homes (60 for beginning students and 60 for pre-holders of a residence permit). In addition to these 120 social homes, the building will also contain ten studios for sale. There will also be various terraces for the residents and a green terrace on each office floor. The complex must be completed by mid-2023. THE PULSE The Pulse is being built in the Kenniskwartier district, a multifunctional complex comprising offices, cultural and other facilities and homes, 151 medium-rent homes and 49 private rental homes, including 10 garden lofts and 9 penthouses. EDGE Stadium EDGE will undergo a thorough upgrade. The building will be expanded, and innovations will be made inside. The work must be completed by November 2022. VU Research Building The building will consist of a higher tower of 13 floors and behind it a lower one of 6 floors. Construction is expected to be completed in the summer of 2023. Tripolis The monumental Tripolis complex along the A10 motorway will be redeveloped. It is now known that Uber will be the main tenant. The head office of this company will occupy some 30,000 of the available 45,000 square metres. In addition to offices and facilities, there will also be housing later on. In the next phase, one of the current Tripolis towers will be transformed into a residential building with social rental flats. Because Het Venster screens the towers off from the A10 motorway, it creates a noise-free area that is ideal for living, but also for sports and recreation. The (re)development of Het Venster and the renovation of two of the three Tripolis buildings and the space around them started on 17 February 2020 and will take about two and a half years. The development of the third (residential) tower will follow later.

ZUID DISTRICT Zuid District consists of a large area with many differences. From the quiet and green Buitenveldert, the vibrant Pijp, to the impressive Zuidas. The district has more than 146,000 residents, making it the second largest district in Amsterdam. The daily operation is part of the general management of Zuid and consists of three people. Both in terms of income and education. The education level of the Zuid district is above average compared to the rest of Amsterdam. At least 30.4% have a higher vocational education (hbo) or higher (18.4% in Amsterdam) and 45.4% have a secondary vocational education (mbo) or lower, compared to 60.9% in Amsterdam. WASTE Waste collection points Amsterdam has six waste collection points. From Monday to Saturday from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, you can dispose of all your waste free of charge. The municipality will prepare a birth certificate that will be included in the register of births. The certificate is proof of the birth and forms the basis for the Personal Records Database (BRP). You must register the birth within 3 days of the day of birth. Bring the following with you when you register the birth: n A valid identity document; n The marriage/partnership booklet, if applicable; n A copy of the certificate of recognition if applicable; n A certificate of previous choice of name if applicable. You may register the birth if you are the father or mother of the child, if you were present at the birth, or if the child was born at your residence. Change of name An application to change a surname must be submitted to Justis. Justis decides on behalf of the Minister of Legal Protection whether the surname can be changed. You cannot apply to Justis for a change of first name. Requests to change a first name must be submitted to the court. For more information, please contact your nearest court. You will always have to pay the above costs for processing your application. This is irrespective of whether the final decision of Justis is positive or negative. Conditions The conditions for changing a surname are set out in the Decree Changing Name (Besluit geslachtsnaamwijziging) (www.wetten.overheid.nl). The rules for changing the surname of an adult and a minor differ. Application procedure Do you want to change your surname? Please read the information in the Brochure on Surname Change (www.justis.nl) carefully. A change of surname is only possible in a limited number of cases. Is your situation not described in this brochure? Then changing your name is not possible. Are you eligible for a change of surname? Then you can start the application. You will need a new identity document if your surname has been changed. You can apply for a new passport, driving license, etc. as soon as your name change has been processed in the Personal Records Database (BRP). After the name change, your old identity documents are no longer valid.

Applying for or renewing a driving licence Novice driving licence When you get your first driving licence, you are a novice driver. It does not matter how old you are or what type of vehicle the driving licence applies to. If your car driving licence is your first driving licence, you are a novice driver for 5 years. If you first obtained the AM (moped) or T (tractor) licence at age 16 or 17, you are a novice driver for 7 years. If you also get the B licence at the age of 17, you are a novice driver for 5 years. This applies from the moment the B licence was issued. If you get your first AM or T licence before the age of 18 and your B licence at or after the age of 18, you remain a novice driver for 7 years. This applies from the moment the AM or T licence was issued. Novice drivers get a novice driving licence. This is an ordinary driving licence, but with a penalty point system for serious traffic offences. The website www.rijksoverheid.nl provides more information on the novice driving licence. It applies to all drivers. The novice driving licence is intended to reduce the number of accidents. Driving lessons from the age of 16,5 You can get a driving licence from the age of 17, but you do not have to wait until your 17th birthday to start driving lessons. According to the rules, you may take driving lessons from the age of 16.5, as well as taking an intermediate test. You can even pass your theory exam at 16. When you are 17, you may take the driving test. If you pass, you can apply for a driving licence at the municipality. Until you turn 18, you will always have to drive with a supervisor next to you. They have to be listed on your pass. A maximum of five supervisors can be listed. They must meet a number of conditions. For the conditions, see the RDW website. Penalty-points driving licence The penalty-points driving licence applies to all drivers. This gives you penalty points for driving under the influence. In addition, anyone who gets a driving licence for the first time gets a novice driving licence. This is an ordinary driving licence, but with an extra element: a penalty-point system for serious traffic offences. Renewing a driving licence at the City Office (Stadsloket) When you renew your driving licence, you get a brand new one. You must hand in your old driving licence when you come to collect the new one. You can make an appointment at one of the 7 City Offices. In some cases, you have to buy and fill in a Certificate of Fitness before you can renew your licence. For example, if you are over 75 years old. Your driving licence will be ready after 5 working days. If you apply on Monday, the driving licence will be ready the following week on Monday. licence. In case of an urgent application, you can in principle collect your driving licence the next working day after 10.00 am (if you applied before 2.00 pm). This time may differ at each City Office. When you apply, you will be told at what time your driving licence will be ready. In exceptional cases, an urgent application may take 2 working days. Renewing a driving licence online n You can renew your driving licence online via RDW. The conditions are: n You live in Amsterdam and are registered here in the Personal Records Database (BRP). n You have a valid Dutch driving licence. n You want to extend your current driving licence, or you want an extra category on your driving licence. n You have an iPhone 7 (and newer). n You have an NFC-enabled mobile phone with Android version 6.0 or higher. n You have the DigiD app. With the app, you must perform a one-time check on your passport, driving licence or ID card. You must follow these steps: n You must have a photo taken at a photographer who is recognised by the RDW. Take your current driving licence with you. You must place your signature at the photographer’s. This signature will be placed on your new driving licence. The photographer sends your photo and signature digitally and securely to RDW. Within a few minutes, you will receive an e-mail from RDW, which states whether you can renew your driving licence online or not. n Go to www.rdw.nl/digitaalaanvragenrijbewijs and apply for your driving licence. You log in with the DigiD app. You can choose at which City Office you want to collect your driving licence. You pay with iDeal. After 4 working days, you can pick up your driving licence at the City Office. You need to make an appointment for this. Driving fitness requirements and medical examination for driving licence To be allowed to drive, you must be mentally and physically healthy. Sometimes, you have to fill out a form with questions about your health. On the basis of this form, the CBR assesses your driving fitness. If necessary, you can undergo an additional medical examination. You always remain responsible yourself to meet the requirements for participating in traffic. The Certificate of Fitness costs EUR 39.30. When does CBR perform an assessment? The CBR monitors whether drivers are fit to drive. The CBR may need to assess your fitness to drive: n Are you taking a driving test? Then you must first fill in a Health Statement. If you answered one or more questions with “yes”, your driving fitness will be assessed. n Are you 70 years of age or older? And does your driving licence expire on or after your turn 75 years? To renew your licence, you must have a doctor assess whether you are fit to drive. At a higher age, the chance of physical problems is greater, and those problems can affect your driving. n Do you drive a lorry (driving licence C) or a bus (driving licence D)? many hours on the road. These vehicles are also large and heavy. There is therefore a greater risk to road safety. That is why you are examined when you renew your driving licence. New drivers are also examined when they apply for their first licence. The examination doctor is appointed by the CBR. Do you have doubts about your fitness to drive? Ask the CBR for an assessment. Then you will know for sure whether you can drive safely on the road or not. The CBR will then decide whether your driving license is still valid. On the website of the CBR, you can find more information about the procedure. The CBR charges a fee. There are also costs associated with a possible visit to a doctor or medical specialist. The Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa) sets the rates.

Applying for a moped driving licence For a moped or scooter, you need a driving licence with category AM. You must apply for a moped driving licence in person at a City Office of your choice. You can only do the application yourself. It is not possible to authorise someone else to apply for a moped driving licence for you. Conditions n You must be registered in Amsterdam to be able to apply for a driving licence here. n You must be at least sixteen years old. n You must have been registered in the Netherlands for at least 185 days. n If you do not yet have a Dutch car or motorbike driving licence, you must have passed the practical test for the moped. No medical examination You do not need a Certificate of (Medical) Fitness from the CBR for a moped driving licence. Applying by post Send a letter to the department “Dienstverlening – Verstrekking & Verificatie”, PO Box 2214, 1000 CE, Amsterdam. State in the letter why you need the extract. Sign the letter and enclose a copy of a valid proof of identity, such as a passport, identity card or driving licence. You will not receive a confirmation receipt of your request. The extract will be sent after about three weeks. The postal delivery may take up to two days. Costs An extract from the Personal Records Database (BRP) costs EUR 21.40 (rates 2021). The extract is free if you need it for a pension fund. To do so, you must present or enclose (copy or scan) the pension fund’s letter with your application. The extract is also free of charge if you have an addition from the Legal Aid Board. Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) You may need a Certificate of Good Conduct for a new job, a visa or emigration. An employer may ask for a Certificate of Good Conduct before recruiting you. A Certificate of Good Conduct is required for teachers, childcare workers and taxi drivers, for example. A Certificate of Good Conduct proves that your past conduct is not a problem for the task or position you are about to perform. Applying at the City Office You must apply for a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) in the municipality in which you reside. In Amsterdam, this can be done at a City Office. Applying for a Certificate of Good Conduct online is only possible if the organisation requesting the Certificate of Good Conduct from you makes this possible. Two versions There are two versions: a Certificate of Good Conduct for natural persons and a Certificate of Good Conduct for legal persons. As an individual employee, you need a Certificate of Good Conduct for natural persons. With a Certificate of Good Conduct for legal persons, companies or foundations can demonstrate their integrity. For example, to conclude a contract or to become a member of a branch organisation. Applying online You can apply for a Certificate of Good Conduct online if the organisation requesting the Certificate offers that option. The organisation requesting the Certificate of Good Conduct will prepare an application for you on the website of Justis. You will receive an e-mail from Justis. You can use a link in the e-mail to complete the application. After receiving your payment, Justis will process your application. You will receive a written notification about your Certificate of Good Conduct. The delivery time is the same as for an application at the City Office. To prepare the application, your employer will need eHerkenning.

Costs A Certificate of Good Conduct costs EUR 41.35. An online application is cheaper and costs EUR 33.85 (rates 2021). You can get a Certificate of Good Conduct free of charge if you are a volunteer and will be working with minors. The organisation for which you work must meet a number of conditions for this and the application must be made via internet to Justis. Go to www.justis.nl for more information. RESIDENCE PERMIT IN THE NETHERLANDS Many expats who want to live and work in the Netherlands (longer than 90 days) must request a residence permit. The type of application you must submit depends on your nationality and your reason for moving to the Netherlands, such as family, study, work, or other purposes. Reasons to apply for a residence permit There are many different reasons for staying in the Netherlands. It is important to choose the reason that best applies to your situation as it will affect the application you select and submit. Purpose of your stay in the Netherlands The main purposes for applying for a residence permit in the Netherlands include: n As a spouse, (unmarried) partner or family member. n As an employee or as a self-employed person. n As a highly skilled migrant or scientific researcher. n As a student at a university or higher education institution. n As a student in secondary or vocational education. n As a graduate in an orientation year. n As part of an exchange or working holiday programme. n As an au pair. n As a foreign investor. n As an entrepreneur on a start-up visa. n As a refugee or asylum seeker. Consult the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) to find out which reason would best suit your situation. Do I need a residence permit in the Netherlands? Whether you need a Dutch residence permit depends on your nationality and the amount of time you spend in the Netherlands. EU, EEA, and Swiss citizens Citizens of EU/EEA countries and Switzerland do not need a residence permit to live and work in the Netherlands, in accordance with the EC Treaty. Expats from these countries do not have to register with the IND. However, if they stay in the Netherlands for more than four months, they must register with their local municipality.

Family members of European citizens Under EU law, family members of EU/EEA and Swiss citizens living in the Netherlands can join them even if they do not have European citizenship. This includes spouses and (unmarried) partners. In such situations, family members can apply for verification against EU law to request a certificate of lawful residence - if they meet the requirements of the IND (Immigration and Naturalisation Service) for third country nationals. It is important to note that this option does not apply to family members of Dutch nationals unless the Dutch national has lived in another EU country. Short stay: Dutch residence permit not required A residence permit and short-stay visa are not required if you are staying in the Netherlands for less than 90 days and your citizenship has a visa-free agreement with the Netherlands. If you are coming to the Netherlands for less than 90 days and your country does not have a visa-free agreement with the Netherlands, you must apply for a short-stay visa before you travel. You can apply for a short-stay visa in person at the Dutch embassy or consulate in your country of residence. Longer stays: Dutch residence permit required If you plan to stay in the Netherlands for more than 90 days, you must apply for a residence permit. Depending on the circumstances and nationality, some internationals can apply for a residence permit directly from the IND when they arrive in the Netherlands. Others will have to apply for a residence permit and an Authorisation for Temporary Stay (MVV) at the Dutch embassy or consulate in their country of residence before travelling to the Netherlands. The Authorisation for Temporary Stay MVV) Some internationals must also apply for an Authorisation for Temporary Stay if they are applying for a Dutch residence permit. The MVV (Authorisation for Temporary Stay) is a provisional residence permit for entering the Netherlands as a potential resident instead of as a tourist. The MVV is not an official residence permit. You or your sponsor can apply for the MVV and the residence permit at the same time before you travel. This is known as the TEV procedure (entry and stay procedure). Do I need an Authorisation for Temporary Stay (MVV)? You do not need to apply for an Authorisation for Temporary Stay (MVV) if one of the following situations applies: n You currently have a valid residence permit for the Netherlands. n You are a citizen of Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Canada, the USA, Monaco, or Vatican City. n You are a citizen of an EU/EEA country or from Switzerland. n You are a family member or a (proven) partner of a citizen of an EU/EEA country or from Switzerland, even if you hold another nationality. n You currently have a permanent residence permit from another EU country as “Long-term resident-EC CE”. n You or a family member has held a European Blue Card in another EU country for 18 months. 80

Your situation fits in other specific circumstances for which no Authorisation for Temporary Stay (MVV) is required, such as outlined by the IND. Sponsorship for a Dutch residence permit Sponsorship is required for most types of Dutch residence permits. Some forms of residence permit do not require sponsors, such as an orientation year for graduates or some holiday programmes.

Who or what is a sponsor? If you come to the Netherlands as an employee, researcher or highly skilled migrant, your employer is your sponsor. If you come for family reasons, your family member or partner in the Netherlands is your sponsor. If you come here to study, your educational institution is your sponsor. The IND and Dutch residence permits All Dutch applications for a residence permit are processed by the IND (Dutch Department of Immigration and Naturalisation). Applications submitted in the Netherlands can be submitted directly to the IND. Applications from abroad can be submitted to the Dutch embassy or consulate in the country where you live, or to the IND by your sponsor who is already in the Netherlands. Requirements for a residence permit in the Netherlands The requirements for a residence permit in the Netherlands vary widely, depending on your reason for applying and the application form you submit. The application requirements for a highly skilled migrant who comes to the Netherlands, for example, differ greatly from the application requirements of a family member. To find out which requirements apply to your specific circumstances, please consult the IND. Requirements are also listed on IND application forms. How to apply for a Dutch residence permit without an Authorisation for Temporary Stay (MVV) If you are exempt from the Authorisation for Temporary Stay (MVV), your sponsor can apply for a residence permit on your behalf while you are still abroad, stating your expected arrival date. Once the the IND has informed you that it will issue a residence permit, you can come to the Netherlands. That way you will be certain you won’t be travelling to the Netherlands for nothing. Your sponsor can also apply while you are already in the Netherlands. However, it is not certain whether you will receive a residence permit. It can also be difficult to get all the necessary documents in the Netherlands. If the application is granted, your sponsor will be notified when the employee can collect their residence permit. How to apply for a Dutch residence permit with an Authorisation for Temporary Stay (TEV entry and stay procedure) If you simultaneously apply for an Authorisation for Temporary Stay (MVV) and a residence permit, please follow the TEV entry and stay procedure before coming to the Netherlands. If you have a sponsor in the Netherlands, they can start the application process on your behalf. Dutch residence permit application forms You can find digital versions of most permit application forms through the IND. You can also collect forms from IND Desks (by appointment). It is strongly recommended that you contact the IND in advance and discuss the requirements for your application with them. For some permits, only a sponsor can apply. Even if you submit an incorrect form or apply for an Authorisation for Temporary Stay (MVV), but cannot apply for it, this may also affect your ability to remain in the Netherlands. Supporting documentation for a residence permit in the Netherlands To support your application for a residence permit, you will need to collect documents, such as a birth certificate, to submit with your application. The documents you need to provide depend on the application form you submit. Each form states the required documents. Official foreign documents must be legalised or provided with an apostille stamp, depending on the relevant authorities in the country of issue. Documents must be in Dutch, English, French, or German. Other languages must be translated by a sworn translator in the Netherlands. Dutch residence permits and application costs There are costs associated with applying for a Dutch residence permit or MVV. The amount depends on the type of application. Decision period of the IND After submitting your form and paying the fee, the IND will assess your application. The decision period may vary, as the IND is legally permitted to take a maximum of 90 days to reach a decision on your application. Applications without Authorisation for Temporary Stay (MVV) If you are already in the Netherlands, you can collect your residence permit at an IND desk. During this appointment, the IND will also collect your biometric data, such as your fingerprints, signature and passport photo. Applications with the TEV entry and stay procedure If you are following the TEV entry and stay procedure and are located outside the Netherlands, you can collect your Authorisation for Temporary Stay (MVV) at the Dutch embassy or consulate in the country where you live. Once you are in the Netherlands, you have two weeks to collect your residence document at an IND location (ND-loket Amsterdam, Pieter Calandlaan 1, 1065 KH). Knowledge migrants can also collect their residence permit at IN Amsterdam (formerly expat centre) World Trade Center, I-Tower, Strawinskylaan 1767, 1077 XX. Telephone number: +31 (0) 20 254 79 99. Rejection of a Dutch residence permit application If your application is rejected, the IND will send a letter stating the reasons for not issuing a residence permit or Authorisation for Temporary Stay (MVV). This letter will also explain whether and how to object. Residence permit for an indefinite period (after five years) If you want to live in the Netherlands permanently, you can apply for a permanent residence permit. When you apply for a permanent residence permit in the Netherlands, the IND will check whether you are eligible for a residence permit as a long-term resident of the EU. If you already have a permanent residence permit, you can also apply for an EU long-term resident permit. With an EU long-term residence permit it is easier to apply for a residence permit in one of the other EU countries that also have this type of permit. You must meet the conditions of the relevant country for obtaining a residence permit. Conditions: n You have lived in the Netherlands for five years or longer with a valid residence permit. This does not apply if you qualify for an exception category. The IND looks at the five years prior to the moment you submit the application. Only the years from when you turned eight years old are counted. You can therefore only apply for a permanent residence permit if you have turned thirteen and have lived in the Netherlands from the age of eight with a valid residence permit. n You were a continuous resident of the Netherlands in the five years prior to submitting the application. This means that you did not reside outside the Netherlands for six or more consecutive months in those five years, or four or more consecutive months in three consecutive years. n You have a valid residence permit when you submit the application. This must be a permit for a non-temporary purpose. n You are registered in the Municipal Personal Records Database (BRP) of your place of residence (municipality). You do not have to prove this yourself. The IND will check whether you meet this condition.

You have an independent sufficient and sustainable income. You have obtained the integration diploma. This shows that you can read, write, speak, and understand Dutch to a sufficient standard. Sometimes you may not need to take an integration exam. If you are of age, were born in the Netherlands or came to live in the Netherlands before you turned three and have always lived in the Netherlands since then, your application will only be rejected on grounds of public order or national security. n n

Costs This application fee is € 192.00, for minors the application fee is € 64.00. VOTING FOR EXPATS Dutch citizens from the age of 18 can vote in elections, but what about expats? People without Dutch nationality who have lived in the Netherlands for at least five years and have a residence permit can vote in municipal elections. This five-year rule does not apply to people with a passport from one of the Member States of the European Union; they are allowed vote in municipal elections immediately after their move to the Netherlands.

Application in Zuid Check the deviating rules of Zuid urban district council before you apply for an environmental permit. TRAFFIC AND TRANSPORT Free public transport to and from Gelderlandplein with the Gelderlandplein line. In contrast to the rest of Amsterdam, the Zuidas has a free extensive public transport service, consisting of the lines 461, 463 and 464. The free service has been brought about in part by the Kroonenberg Group. The Gelderlandplein lines run every day except on nationally recognised public holidays. Because of the Corona measures, there are fewer passengers and therefore line 461 to/from Zuidas runs less frequently. When there are more passengers from April 2021, the frequency to/from Zuidas will be increased to every 10 minutes. Zuidasdok Zuidas is developing rapidly. In the coming years, the area will have thousands of new homes and a quarter more office space. More than 200,000 motorists already use the A10 Zuid motorway every day and more than 100,000 passengers take the train or metro at Amsterdam-Zuid station. You can also see the type, number, capacity and connector type. Parking permit for residents You can apply for the permit at one of the City Offices, in writing or online at www.amsterdam.nl/parkeren-verkeer/parkeervergunning. Conditions: n You must be registered in Amsterdam in the Personal Records Database (BRP) at the address where you live. The permit is only valid in the area where you live. n You must have a car registered in your name (or a lease or company car, rental car, camper van, moped, Canta or motorbike). n You must have a vehicle that meets the environmental requirements. n You will not receive a permit if your home has a parking space. Ask the seller or lessor if this is the case. You cannot apply for a parking permit if you have or had the opportunity to buy or rent your own parking space. This does not include a parking space for the disabled. See below for the exception to this rule. n At some addresses, you will not receive a parking permit. This often concerns (future) new construction projects and area developments. n There is always a maximum number of permits per address. n You have to live in an area where the municipality still issues parking permits. An overview of these areas can be found in the street search. In some areas, instead of a parking permit, you can apply for a waiver for blue zones. Parking permit for companies You can apply for the permit at one of the City Offices, in writing or online at www.amsterdam.nl/parkeren-verkeer/parkeervergunning. Conditions: n Your company must be located in an area where paid parking applies. The permit is only valid in this area. n Your company must be registered in the Trade Register of the Chamber of Commerce. The address in the Chamber of Commerce must correspond with the address for which you are applying for the permit. n You may not have your own parking space. n Newly-built business premises no longer receive a permit for parking on the street, regardless of the availability of parking spaces on private property. 88

At a number of addresses, permits for residents or companies can no longer be issued. An overview of these addresses (the “nulplafond”) can be found at www.amsterdam.nl/parkeren-verkeer/ parkeervergunning/vergunninggebied. Parking permit for disabled residents With your European disabled parking card, you can apply for the Amsterdam parking permit for disabled residents free of charge. There are two versions of the card: driver and passenger. When you apply, you must indicate whether you are a driver or a passenger. This depends on the type of European disabled parking card that you have. It is not possible to apply for both types. You can apply for the permit at one of the City Offices, in writing or online at www.amsterdam.nl/parkeren-verkeer/ parkeervergunning. Wheel clamp When you have five or more outstanding parking tickets for one licence plate, the municipality can place one or two wheel clamps on your car at any time. The municipality removes the wheel clamp when you have paid all outstanding parking tickets, plus any follow-up costs and the costs of the wheel clamp. The cost of removing a wheel clamp is EUR 194 (rates 2021) plus all your outstanding parking tickets. Payment When you have a wheel clamp, please contact the municipality on 020 - 251 3787 (daily from 9.00 am to 9.00 pm). Someone will then come to your place so you can pay the parking tickets on the spot by debit or credit card. You must pay the full amount at once. It is not possible to make any further payment arrangements. Towed vehicle If your parked vehicle is blocking traffic, causing an unsafe situation or is parked in the wrong place, the municipality can tow it away. To check whether your vehicle has indeed been towed away, you should call the municipality of Amsterdam on 14 020. This number is available 24 hours a day for towed vehicles. You can collect your towed vehicle from Enforcement and Supervision (Handhaving en Toezicht) at Daniël Goedkoopstraat 9, 1096 BD Amsterdam, telephone 14020 (open 24 hours a day). You must bring your valid identity document. You can only pay with debit or with credit card. When you pick up your vehicle, you pay the costs of the towing and storage. You pay EUR 373 (rates 2021) if you come to pick up the car within 24 hours. If you do not pick up the car, EUR 30 per 24 hours of storage costs will be added after the first 24 hours. Was your car towed away because you had a wheel clamp? Then in addition to the outstanding tickets, you also pay the costs of the wheel clamp (EUR 192), the towing (EUR 373) and any storage costs (EUR 30 per 24 hours extra) after 24 hours. If you believe that you have been towed away wrongly, you can object to this in writing and online afterwards. If your objection is upheld, the money will be refunded. You can only pay by debit or with credit card at Enforcement and Supervision (Handhaving en Toezicht). It is not possible to pay with cash. CULTURE AND RECREATION Amsterdam School Museum De Dageraad Amsterdam School Museum De Dageraad in Amsterdam Zuid is one of the top architectural highlights of the Amsterdam School style from the early twentieth century. The building was designed by Michel de Klerk and Piet Kramer and attracts visitors from all over the world. The permanent exhibition tells about the development of Berlage’s Plan Zuid. Every hour, visitors can take a guided tour of the neighbourhood. Craft workshops and lectures are held at Museum De Dageraad, and many excursions through the neighbourhood depart. The Amsterdam School is an important movement in the field of crafts, architecture and public housing. The style can be seen in a large part of Amsterdam, and it is image-determining for the city. There are two museums of the Amsterdam School in Amsterdam: Museum Het Schip in Amsterdam-West and Museum De Dageraad in Amsterdam-Zuid. Both museums take their name from the beautiful iconic Amsterdam School buildings in which they are located. SPORT & RECREATION Amsterdamse Bos Boscross The Boscross is a fitness circuit of 2.2 km with 18 trim units along the route. The route starts and ends at the bridge of the Duizendmeterweg and is marked with blue poles with the image of a trimmer with hurdles. Running In the Bos, there are three marked running routes of approx. 5, 10 and 21 km. They start and end at De Boswinkel and partly follow the same paths. The routes are marked in the forest with orange poles. A map is available at the Boswinkel. Field running In the Bos, a field running route (3 km) is set out. Because of the uneven surface and the height differences of the Heuvel, this track is very suitable for recreational running. The route starts at pavilion Chez Favié at De Duizendmeterweg and is marked with blue poles with the image of a running man in the grass. Cycling You can explore the Bos endlessly by bike: 50 kilometres of cycle path meander through the Bos. You can rent a bike at the entrance of the Bos. Canoe and pedalo rental At the Grote Speelweide near the Open Air Theatre, you can rent canoes and pedalos. In the canals of the Amsterdamse Bos, two canoe routes are marked with coloured poles. Horse riding in the Amsterdamse Bos Riders can enjoy no less than 21,5 km of equestrian trails in the Amsterdamse Bos. The Nieuwe Meer On the Nieuwe Meer at the north side of the Amsterdamse Bos, you can also do water sports. You can sail, windsurf, SUP and sail and there are also several marinas. Football You can play football everywhere in the Bos. Goals are placed on several playing fields in the summer. Swimming On several places you can swim in the Amsterdamse Bos. For the little ones, there are two children’s pools in the Amsterdamse Bos. There is also an official swimming location in the Bos, the Grote Vijver that has a separate swimming part. Vorig jaar bestond Zorgvlied 150 jaar. In 1870 in gebruik genomen als begraafplaats en vandaag de dag geliefd vanwege de unieke combinatie van beeldbepalende grafmonumenten van weleer met eigentijdse vormen van afscheid nemen en herdenken.

Wist u dat sinds 2016 cremeren ook mogelijk is op Zorgvlied? Het bijzondere, vrijstaande gebouw draagt de naam Crematorion. Dit staat voor een meer spirituele manier van cremeren. Na een afscheidsceremonie in een van de aula’s op Zorgvlied of elders, begeleiden naasten hun dierbare naar het Crematorion. Bij de open luifel volgt een laatste samenzijn. Deels in de open lucht, deels onder de vleugels van de ‘tipi’. Het concept van het Crematorion geeft cremeren op Zorgvlied een persoonlijk en eigentijds karakter.
