Women worldwide are giving up one of their most precious possessions - time - in exchange for their looks. It’s for this very reason cosmetic tattooing is taking the world by storm, as women globally reclaim their mornings!
Polls show, on average, women spend 30 minutes per day doing their makeup which equates to 14 hours per month and a staggering 40 weeks over a lifetime!
It’s hardly surprising then that 58 per cent of those polled said they make a point of leaving their make-up on all evening, in case unplanned guests ‘pop over’. Worryingly, nearly one in five women said they would refuse to open the front door if they didn’t have a face full of make-up on. In fact 38 per cent are so reluctant to take it off they admitted to frequently going to bed with their make-up intact!
Just imagine what you could do with your 40 weeks of freedom, and fresh skin!? Imagine waking to clean skin, beautifully arched and defined brows, luscious eye liner and delicate lip tone. Imagine bringing out your best features and having perfect makeup year round?! Cosmetic tattooing may be the answer.
Admittedly good quality cosmetic tattooing does come at a cost, Although with research finding the average woman spends $198 on cosmetics in a typical year and has around 13 items in her make-up bag, it’s hardly surprising the trend is taking over!
With a lengthy list of pros including being able to swim and sweat without fear of mascara running, women globally are taking to the needle. And with the latest colour trends allowing freedom to choose from endless pigments, tattooing is becoming a less and less feared option.
With Queensland summer just around the corner it may be time for some morning beach trips.
