Studying with us

You will have access to a range of amazing facilities including three spacious art studios, alongside a print, fashion and textiles studio, and two photography studios with a darkroom.

You will also get involved in a range of projects to develop your skills including live client led briefs, industry led work experience, exhibitions and shows.

As well as exploring set briefs, you will also develop independent creative projects, allowing you the freedom to develop your project work in an individual way. You can expect to develop your skills, knowledge and personal artistic style to a level that will stand out in creative interviews!

Industry subject areas covered on our courses include fashion design and illustration, fashion branding, garment and accessory production, screen printing, creative textiles, interior design, surface pattern, studio and location photography, image editing and manipulation, printmaking, creative experimental techniques, studio and lighting management, image communication, drawing, painting, traditional and digital illustration, concept art, installation and large-scale 3D work.

You will be continuously assessed through successfully completing a series of assignments and projects. 1 year

You will be assessed through practical work and other assignments. A practical examination which is externally set and graded is part of the assessment. As well as exploring set briefs, you will also develop independent creative projects, allowing you the freedom to develop your project work in an individual way. There are no exams on this course, as all work undertaken is assignment based. 1-2 year
