PROTO DESIGN LAB OMAHA'S PREMIER INDUSTRIAL MAKER SPACE. Whether you’re an entrepreneur, engineer, designer or inventor, MCC offers an open-access, cutting-edge facility to allow you to visualize, develop and create just about anything you can imagine. Located in the Center for Advanced and Emerging Technology, the PROTO Design Lab is a 9600 square-foot facility that features state-of-the-art metal and woodworking labs plus more. Technicians are available to help you get started with all aspects of your projects including design, file generation and machine operation. Participants are required to take a short safety course before using equipment, but once completed, they will have full access to all software and equipment. What is GAP? The Metropolitan Community College Gap Assistance program provides needs-based tuition assistance for approved short-term training programs that are in high-need fields. Gap assistance may be right for you if you are unemployed or underemployed and seeking full-time employment or you desire career advancement by upskilling.

An automatic refund is made if MCC cancels a class. To withdraw your registration before a class starts, please call 531-MCC-5231. Refunds will be issued to students who drop a class at least one business day (seven days for tours prior to the class start date. No refunds will be issued for classes dropped on or after the class start date. Refunds for international travel experiences vary. Specific terms and conditions will be listed on the travel packet for that international experience.

MCC assumes no liability for accidents that occur while participating in Continuing Education classes and provides no funds to cover medical costs.
