RCC Families,
That’s a wrap on our 2024 RCC Summer Camp season! Thank you so much for letting us be a part of your child’s summer plans We have some of the most creative, fun, and energetic kids around, and it has been a pleasure seeing the kids form new friendships!
We had six camps this summer: Slimetopia, Sports, Master Chef 2, Arcademania, Get Crafty, and Wet ‘n Wild Camps filled up quickly this year, so be on the lookout early next year for when camp sign-ups open Below are a few snapshots of some of the fun we had From making slime to making our lunches in the RCC Kitchen, there was so much to learn and enjoy Thank you, again, to everyone who participated See you soon!

TEE IT UP
Members,
Adam McLaughlin, PGA, Director of Golf
The fall season is right around the corner, and it is definitely an exciting time at Raleigh Country Club The cart path project is getting close to completion, and our newly remodeled men’s locker room has reopened Since the beginning of the cart path project, we have had over 16 inches of rain in the last 30 days Due to the abnormally high amount of rain, the timeline for finishing the cart path project has been delayed.
The Ladies’ Member-Guest and Club Championship events have been rescheduled for later in the fall. Please note the new dates on the schedule below, and we hope that you can join us for these events. The Labor Day Tournament format has been adjusted to account for playing the front nine twice The field for the Labor Day Tournament will be limited to the first 12 four-person teams to sign up
The golf staff is excited about the new fall golf calendar we have lined up at the club The course is in excellent shape, and soon we will have new cart paths to improve the experience for our members and their guests at Raleigh Country Club. As always, if I can assist you in any way, please don’t hesitate to reach out; my door is always open!
Adam McLaughlin, PGA Director of Golf

FRIENDLY REMINDERS
To ensure that our golf course stays in the condition that we all enjoy, we require all members to do their part by making sure that they adhere to the routine maintenance that all golfers are expected to perform every time they use the facilities at Raleigh Country Club Below are three routine golf maintenance etiquette practices Your attention to these matters of maintaining the bunkers, greens, and fairways will help provide the excellent daily playing conditions that we all desire and expect from our course
All bunkers need to be properly maintained by the membership Members are expected to enter the bunkers from the low side and smoothly rake the area they disturb with their bunker shots and footprints upon exiting from the low side
Please repair your ball mark and any others that you may find on our greens.
Please remember to fill in your fairway divots with the sand bottles provided on the carts and at the sand bottle stations on the course.
As a member of Raleigh Country Club, there is an expectation that our members, dependents, and their guests adhere to our dress code. If the dress code is not adhered to on the golf course and practice facilities, members and their guests will be asked to leave the golf areas and change into proper attire Shirts must be tucked in, and hats must be worn facing forward at all times while on the course and practice facility
The pace of play is a big part of enjoying golf Please do your part to play ready golf, keeping pace with the group in front of you Our team will be on the course monitoring pace of play Should we identify slow play from members consistently, we may suggest later tee times, or eventually restrict access to times that are vital to getting the day off to a fast start
