ENTRANCE FEES

One-time payment

All Entrance Fee rates are subject to change at any time and candidates are responsible for any increases during the proposal process and or waitlist. Neither rate nor age are locked in at time of proposal.

NATIONAL GOLF MEMBERS

Any individual who does not own or rent personally, through an agent or another (LLC, Trust, etc.), a residence within a 50-mile radius of the Five Farms Clubhouse

Individual $27,000

Member Spouses: All golf members who joined prior to May 20, 2024, who marry thereafter, are required to propose their spouse and pay the difference between the current individual and family entrance fee rates, based on the older spouse’s age.

All non-golf members who joined prior to May 20, 2024, who marry thereafter, are required to propose their spouse and pay the difference between the individual and family non-golf entrance fee rates as of March, 2024, based on the older spouse’s age.

As of February 2006, any single person who was admitted as a member must inform the Director of Membership of any subsequent marriage and the date it took place. As of February 2006, any member who remarries following death or divorce must inform the Director of Membership of the marriage and the date it took place regardless of when a member joined the Club. The member’s spouse must apply for membership in the Club within two years of the marriage. Provided, however, that if the member is younger than 28 years of age at the time of marriage, such new spouse’s membership proposal may be deferred for three years from the date of the marriage. If the spouse is invited into membership, payment of the entrance fee at the time of the invitation is required. There is no maximum threshold in place to pay future entrance fees for possible future marriages. If a single, widowed, or divorced member fails to properly notify the Club of his or her subsequent marriage and the date of the wedding, he or she will be referred to the Traditions Committee for disciplinary action. It is the member’s obligation to apprise the Club of the change in his or her marital status. A failure to abide by the foregoing could subject the member to expulsion pursuant to Article VI, Section 1 of the Constitution.

MEMBER DUES

RESIDENT MEMBERS

Includes unlimited use of all amenities. Additional fees apply for golf, social events, classes, clinics, lessons, leagues, lockers, and À la Carte dining.

(50 years of membership and written request to the Director of Membership required; voting privileges relinquished)

NON-RESIDENT/NATIONAL MEMBERS

Does not own or rent personally, through an agent or another (LLC, Trust, etc.), a residence within a 50-mile radius of the Five Farms Clubhouse; written request to the Director of Membership required; voting privileges and reserved locker privileges relinquished. If a member returns to the area and fails to properly notify the Club of his or her residency change within 60 days, he or she will be referred to the Traditions Committee for disciplinary action.

Residency requirements effective as of January 3, 2024.

ADDITIONAL FEES

Guests can be entertained at the Club a maximum of twice per month by any member. Club events do not count towards monthly guest restrictions.

GOLF DUES

Active golf membership is renewed annually unless canceled by notifying the Membership Office prior to March 1. Golf membership is a full season commitment (March to February). Active golf members are required to pay their season commitment in full annually, regardless of resignation or withdrawal from golf privileges. As a courtesy, and for your convenience, golf season fees are billed in monthly installments. Upon requesting reinstatement of golf privileges, the member will be subject to a waitlist if one is in effect. For all members who joined prior to May 20, 2024, a golf entrance fee is required.

FULL SEASON

Billed monthly (March 2025-February 2026)

Includes bag storage, one handicap fee, Practice Facilities use, and green fees. Minors whose parents are Full Season pay $0 green fees.

PARTIAL SEASON

Billed monthly (March 2025-February 2026)

Includes Practice Facilities use and one handicap fee. Available to adult golf members who joined prior to March 2005 and not available to new members. Partial Season golfers who wish to transfer to Full Season or Non-Resident golf are subject to the waitlist.

JUNIOR FULL-TIME STUDENT

Billed annually in March; not prorated Fee includes play between May 1 & September 1, and during fall, winter, & spring breaks

NON-RESIDENT/NATIONAL

Billed monthly (March 2025-February 2026)

Includes Practice Facilities use, one handicap fee, and 12 rounds of golf per year (up to six rounds may be given to guests with member attendance; non-transferable). Available to adult golf members who do not own or rent personally, through an agent or another (LLC, Trust, etc.), a residence within a 50-mile radius of the Five Farms Clubhouse.

Residency requirements effective as of January 3, 2024.

ADDITIONAL GOLF FEES

GUESTS, NON-ACTIVE, & NON-GOLF MEMBERS

Guests, Non-Active, and Non-Golf members may play twice per month with a season golf member.

GUESTS OF FULL SEASON MEMBERS ONLY

Available only to adult golf members who joined prior to March 2005.

GUEST CARDS

At BCC, we extend a warm welcome to all our guests. As a reminder, it is the responsibility of members to ensure that their guests abide by all rules and regulations of the Club when they are on Club property.

SOCIAL CARD

Allows independent access to Club; guest fees apply to use amenities Up to 2 Weeks $125 per Person/per Week

GOLF CARD

OUT-OF-TOWN CARD

No guest fees the first week: allows member-accompanied use of Five Farms pool, dining, & fitness; guest fees apply at second week Up to 2 Weeks $200 per Family/per Week (2 Adults & Their Children)

EXCHANGE STUDENT CARD

No guest fees; includes all amenities except golf; not prorated 4 Consecutive Weeks

AU PAIR CARD

No guest fees; includes all amenities except golf, but only when the cardholder is accompanied by the children in their care; not prorated. Up to 3 Months

PAYMENT METHODS

Personal or business check

Include your statement stub and member number on your check. If paying for multiple member statements, please include all member numbers on the check and return all stubs. Payments may be mailed to P.O. BOX 45790, Baltimore, MD 21297-5790 or brought to the front desk of the in-season clubhouse.

Online check through your bank

Use the member number on your stub as the account number for your bank’s online payment set-up. Allow 3-5 days for processing.

Automatic ACH debit to your bank account

The Club automatically debits your bank account for your account balance. You may choose for a payment to be drawn on the 10th, 15th, 20th, or 28th of each month. Please complete the payment information at www.bcc1898.com.

PAYMENT TERMS

Late Fees

A 4% late fee is applied to any past due account balance when the next month’s statement is generated.

Per Club Bylaws

All Club charges for which the member is responsible, including dues and entrance fee installments, shall be paid on or before the last day of the month following the month in which the member statement is dated. Spouses are jointly financially responsible for their accounts and the accounts of their children under the age of 18.

Administrative Charge for Returned Payment

A $95 administrative charge for returned payment per occurrence will be billed to member account for any payment returned due to insufficient funds, closed or frozen accounts.
