The roster for Nick Kuecker and the Algona wrestling team is loaded with youth.

Senior Jake Zabka, though, is a returning state medalist who will lead the charge after going 26-5 a season ago. He is joined by sophomore state qualifiers Tate Slagle and Isaac Wilson, who won 41 and 40 matches.

Cohen Reffer and Chase Roof are juniors who won over 20 matches, while several others also were able to put together strong seasons on the mat.

The Bulldogs will also lean on a key group of incoming freshmen to help comprise the lineup and provide depth.
