The Greene County boys are searching for their first winning season since going 12-11 in 2017-18.
Last year, they won nine games, almost doubling the total from the season before.
Richard Daugherty and Jesse Miller are returning starters, and were both key pieces to a strong football campaign in the fall. Nathan Behne, Gabe Ebersole, Brynley Ruzicka Brayden Roberts, Trey Schilling and Lucas Jablonski all saw action in at least 12 games last year.
Daugherty averaged 16 points and five rebounds a night, with Miller adding 12 and seven. Miller will play football for South Dakota next year.

RAM GIRLS
Four returning starters and several more letterwinners are back for the Greene County girls and second-year head coach Tori Ogden.
The Rams won three games a season ago, but look to build off that with returning starters Alexa Peters, Emma Shipley, Emma Hoyle and Ashlynn Hinners all leading the way. Peters, Hoyle and Hinners are seniors, while Shipley is a sophomore.
Hoyle averaged 5.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and almost two assists per game last year, while Shipley chipped in four points and three boards.
Grace Hardaway, Regan Tuhn, Esther Van Horn, Ella Shipley and Kamryn Sanders are all returning letterwinners.

RAM WRESTLING
Returning state champion Kale Petersen and McKinley Robbins, a two-time runner-up and one-time champion, are back to lead the Greene County wrestling team.
Petersen went 13-0 last year, capturing the Class 2A, 120-pound title with an 8-5 decision win over Webster City’s Cam Phetxoumphone.
Robbins, meanwhile, was second after falling to Blaine Frazier of Notre Dame in the finals. He went 45-4 and won a state title as a sophomore, while also placing second as a freshman.
Earlier this year, Robbins committed to wrestle at Oregon State University next season.
Gavin Scheuermann was a state qualifier last year, finishing with a record of 41-8.
