As part of that journey we are participating in a real citizen science project.
What’s in YOUR water? We all have the right to know if the streams running through our backyards and neighborhood parks are safe. We took photographs of bodies of water in our community. Then our troop leaders uploaded the photos to the SciStarter Project Page. Our photos will help provide data about the streams, creeks and rivers all across America!
Our troop worked to earn our outdoor art badges. The final step was to head outdoors and be nature photographers. Some of us decided to play with light and shadows. Some of us decided to show big and small photos of things we found in nature!
