NOTES FROM YOUR LTG &

What’s Stomping Redbulls!

This month was the long buildup to Fall Rally South! We had spirit sessions, PTP fundraisers, and Region Training Conference to prepare. We learned cheers, raised money, and got trained on how to better serve our home clubs! I hope that everyone who went to these events had a lot of fun! Freshman, thank you for joining Key Club and coming out to service and division events! I’ve been having so much fun getting to know all of you <3 Sophomores, thank you for coming back to Key Club or if it’s your first year, thank you for checking out our club! Please invite your friends to go volunteer with you hehe. Juniors, one more year until you guys are seniors! Take the time to think about who you want to be next year and what positions you might want to run for. Seniors, whether this is your first year in Key Club or your fourth year, this is our last year :’(. This is our last RTC, FRS, last DCMS. Make the most out of it! Attend every event and don’t have regrets! Yolanda Mai D37S LTG

FALL RALLY

d37s, we might be a small division but you’ve filled my heart to the brim. running for ltg, i didnt know people from other divisions, i didnt know what kiwanis was, i didnt know who the dgov was (sorry jonathan!). all i knew was that i wanted to serve and help others and create opportunitie to serve. being ltg has given me that and more. i know w constantly compare ourselves to larger division in terms o size and numbers but i just want to say that you all matter the same to cnh key club. at the end of the day you decide to serve and give up your time and money. you decide to give what YOU can based on YOUR circumstances. thank you d37s for letting me grow out of my shell and my social anxiety this year. thank you for blessing me with the chance to reach out to new people and serve next to the most genuine people i know! thank you for giving me a place to call home for 4 years. its bee real. BUT WAIT we still have more to go you best believe we’re not slowing down now!!

SERVICE SHOAL CREEK FALL FESTIVAL (WV) After being assigned to the nail painting station, I waited until kids arrived. Angie, Aly, and I collected tickets from kids and asked what color they wanted for their nails. It took us a couple of minutes to paint their nails. It was super fun and enjoyable to talk to all of the kids and see the costumes that they were wearing for the festival. -Erin Chin

SUNSET HILLS FALL FESTIVAL (DN) Members ran carnival games and booths! Both members and the children there had a blast!

RECAP DEL MAR BEACH CLEANUP (MC) Arriving bright and early, we were treated with a serene atmosphere nearly free of other people, something we enjoyed as we walked along the beach in search of trash. Our club split up into different groups in order to cover a wider area, and I ended up meeting some new members and had a great time with them! We traversed a large strip of the shore and there was surprisingly not nearly as much trash as I anticipated, which is something to be grateful for! -Logan Schmid

At the volunteering event for Westview Gold I guided incoming band and color guard teams. I was guiding Murrietta Vally high school around while they were coming in. I took them to the field where they would play. Then I took them out and away of incoming teams. Then I watched some more performances before leaving. Before I left I dropped off my volunteer badge and went home. -Cameron Hamidy At the volunteering event I was assigned to work as a table runner. My table runner job was, in the beginning, to take volunteers to their stations which didn't really happen because the volunteers knew their way around already. We also ran out of lanyards so we started making the badges and assembled them for other volunteers. As it started getting dark and people started to show up for the event, we helped the visitors put on their wrist bands because it's basically impossible to put those on by themselves. After some time struggling we got used to it and we continued helping with bracelets. -Sindhu Narasimha

Westview has been working super hard to be constantly improving in our everyday processes. Our hardworking board has nothing but commitment their time to their duties to not only the home club, but division. I am so proud to where we are with our goals and know we can finish them with the four months we have left of our term. I may be the president of this amazing club but truly couldn't of accomplished anything without them. Thank you to my active board and club for always going above and beyond in their duties. I love you all so much and can't believe how far we have improved our club from previous terms!

- Love Haley
