How To Create A Tagline

Logos: How To Create a Tagline It can be your name in bold letters or your initials incorporated into your favorite sports team mascot. Logos can also be all about the puns. Think “party to the MAX” or “cELLAbrate with us”. Or how about incorporating your last name like KAHNverse or “Dancing With The Sterns.” No “punny” last name? That’s okay! There are so many options out there on how to make a creative and fun logo. Many Bar Mitzvahs are also coming up with a tagline. What’s a tagline? Think slogan. Or branding your product. But, in this case your product is your child’s Bar/Bat Mitzvah.

Logos: How To Create a Tagline
How to get started. 4 Write the 2 or 3 initials down on a piece of paper. Are the letters reminding you of any words? 4 Think of your child’s personality. Do any words/ phrases come to mind? 4 Use Google and search “Words that start with the letter _” fill in your letter. 4 If you are having trouble finding one word with your initials, then start thinking about a phrase. 4 There are also many Websites that people use when playing Words With Friends and Scrabble that can be helpful with this process. Also Pinterest can become your best friend.
Have fun with it. This is not meant to be (too) stressful! 6 MitzvahMarket.com

BRANDING
YOUR EVENT With A Logo

Your child wants a cool logo to brand their event. You agree but don’t want to go overboard.

That’s the beauty of branding and logos, you can take it as far as you want or just sprinkle it into your Bar or Bat Mitzvah event. What does branding mean? Branding is creating a completely immersive event experience for your guests. It sets the tone for the type of celebration your guests should expect and starts the moment your guests receive a save the date or invitation until they step into their car once the event ends or even until they receive their “thank you” note.

Good branding for your child’s Bar or Bat Mitzvah happens when everything looks and feels like it fits together and it represents both the guest of honor and his or her family. You can start incorporating the logo or theme as early on as your save the date announcements or invitations. If you do not want the whole invitation to be all about the theme, how about incorporating the color scheme into the invite? Your child is a sports fan. Does that mean your entire room needs to be covered in basketballs? Not at all! Or it absolutely can be! Anything goes... The place cards and/or place card table is another perfect way to incorporate your logo. When your guests walk in they will instantly know the theme of 10 MitzvahMarket.com

Branding
Branding your child’s party. You can carry that through on the centerpieces too with your child’s name or initials branded into each one. You can also put the logo into lights on the back wall or even on the dance floor. Your child wants pink everywhere. Think pink napkins, socks, chair covers and balloons. Even better- how about balloons shaped as the logo? You would be amazed what balloon places can do these days! What else can I do to incorporate the logo? Your menu cards can have the logo implemented on it, your logo can go on cookies, candy bars and even cocktails can be named for your Bar/Bat Mitzvah teen. A fun way to end the night is to send your guests off with a treat. Giant pretzels or an individual make your own s’mores bag can be sealed with a logo sticker. Favors and giveaways are an easy way to carry on the logo. Many popular items are sweatshirts, water bottles, hats or even handheld personalized fans. If your child likes the dance club theme, think of incorporating the logo onto pillows which can be used on the kids chairs or couches. Whatever you choose, make sure your child is part of the discussion. After all, this is their big day and the branding is all about them!

It’s time to think about hiring a logo designer and/ or a favor company. You want your guests to remember the party long after the event is over. Take home favors are a great way to keep the memories long-lasting. Whether it is a personalized item to lounge in or an adorable edible creation, you will need to speak with both favor and logo vendors who can work within your budget. From the initial concept to final production, it is important for the client and vendor to be on the same page. Here are some important questions to consider:
Logos
1. How long will it take until you see the first round of logo designs? 2. What file formats will the logo come in? You might need different formats depending on what you plan to do with the logo. 14 MitzvahMarket.com

QUESTIONS TO ASK
3. How many logos (or different designs) does someone usually order? 4. What are the current trends that you are seeing? Initials, monograms, taglines, full names? 5. Do I need to find ideas to show you or will you work with me to come up with ideas? 6. How many revisions does your pricing include? 7. How will payments work? Do they require a deposit up front? 8. Are you the person who will be doing the design? You will want to speak directly with the designer. 9. What if, after all the suggestions, we are not happy with any of the designs? Are we required to still use your services? 10. What ways have you seen families use their logo? This is a great way to get some ideas on how you may want to utilize yours.

New Trend
Mitzvah Boxes The pandemic certainly changed all of our lives. If you were a family who had a Bar/Bat Mitzvah planned, you had to reimagine what your service and party would look like in the new world we were living in. We were barely figuring out “Zoom” let alone a virtual Bar/Bat Mitzvah. Some silver linings did occur, however, and one of those is the Mitzvah Box. This is the latest craze for Virtual Bar/Bat Mitzvahs and this one could be here to stay!

According to Stephanie Feldman, owner of Cutie Patootie Creations, “Families
were trying to figure out ways for all of their guests to be involved in the special day. Mitzvah Boxes was a way to Credit: Cutie Patootie Creations include everyone in the celebration.” Imagine a box, sent to your guests, filled with everything as small as yarmulkes and your Bar/ Bat Mitzvah program all the way to personalized sweatshirts and fleece blankets. Cookies created with a logo? Water bottles? Yes, it all can be put into your Mitzvah Box! Who would you send a Mitzvah Box to? That is one of the many advantages to the new trend. Anyone you want. You can include all of your guests, those who RSVP’d yes, or your entire invitation list. You could make an all adult box, just for kids, or entire families. The sky is the limit. “I’ve been working this past year with all types of budgets, small Credit: Party Swag Designs and large, to make up Mitzvah Boxes.” Stephanie tells Mitzvah Market. “It is such a nice way to keep people together and feel involved MitzvahMarket.com 25
in your event. I’ve even sent boxes as far as Israel!” Popular items she has sent have included squeeze stress balls, personalized welcome cards, customized chocolate bars and sweet and salty snacks. And let’s not forget those who can actually attend in person. Companies who are creating these boxes can send all the extras that you purchased directly to you so that you can deliver them locally or hand out to your in person guests at your Bar or Bat Mitzvah. So, what do we think? Are the Mitzvah Boxes here to stay? It is certainly a great way to keep people that cannot travel (or who are not yet ready to travel) included in such a momentous occasion. Silver linings!
