Misk Art Institute is a platform dedicated to support Art And artists operating under the auspices of Misk Foundation, established by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The Institute was founded In 2017 to encourage artistic production in Saudi Arabia, Nurture the appreciation of Saudi and Arab Art and enable International cultural diplomacy and Exchange.

For the past five years Moath Alofi has been exploring Saudi and translating his findings into artistic mediums.

In a passing discussion about the works of Warhol and Basquiat, the Artists; Fahad and Talal had the idea of a joint artwork (art piece) which bridges the gap between their different styles, to search for new meaning, and to explore already existing ones, where did Talal start? And where did Fahad leave the final stroke?

The driver behind this adventures dialogue between the two artists, is their passion and love for experimentation.

Every added layer to an existing painting is a new beginning for the artist, how did this process influence the artists? And what does this dialogue mean to the community?

The most asked question that is repeated in our life when documenting particular moments through our smartphones. Little we pay attention to the tiniest details around us. This spontaneity is what Tarfah tried to capture through the scenes she photographed in her Instagram account, focusing on passing and fleeting moments, true, real and raw footage being a challenge on one hand, and the translation of emotion on the other.

Galler Misr, for Modern and Contemporary Art was founded in 2011 to promote Egyptian art locally and internationally through its local art exhibitions and international collaborations with museums and art institutions. Founded by the director of the Palace of the Arts in the Egyptian Opera House artist Mohamed Talaat, Talaat carefully witnessed the artistic movement from 2000 to 2011, and sponsored many important art events such as (what is happening now 2007 in Cairo, in Spain 2009, why not 2009, and others ..).

Hewar Art Gallery opened in Riyadh in 2006 to showcase the best collection of artworks at a location with a great view of Riyadh. Since its launch, it has showcased many artworks of international artists from the East and the West. It also calls for a joint dialogue between artists and amateurs through artistic expression.

A contemporary art Gallery founded in 2009 by Hamza Al-Sayrafi and Mohammed Hafez in Jeddah, showcases works by Middle Eastern and international artists. It also includes a space for creative experimentation, a visual Arts library, an area for outdoor performances, and it homes a creative environment for Artists. Athar is currently developing a cultural exchange program with international Artists as part of its commitment to promote a cultural dialogue between Saudi Arabia and the world.

Ward Gallery was established to support the Saudi artistic movement and to keep up with the development and progress the country is witnessing in all aspects, and to work on bringing the Saudi contemporary Art scene to the attention of the international community. It also has many contributions such as the establishment of an art group which was later the beginning step to founding the museum of contemporary Saudi Art, and the launch of exhibitions and events both locally and internationally, in addition to the support of The Saudi Art community in general.

With the participation of the audience, Artist will create a massive Art piece with Mosaic Art, which is made with the assembly of small pieces of different colored materials to create one large Picture (The Holy Mosque). Visitors will be able to take part by participating in its creation.

The workshops are in two categories, one for families and groups to enjoy, and the other for professional Artists seeking to develop their skill and knowledge. The workshops are distributed across four experimentative studios with four different themes: homogeneity, explore, dialogue and possibility.

Later in life and far from home, calligraphy became a reminder of where he came from and what he left behind. His love for the Arabic language intensified as he began to delve deeper into its beautiful letters, words, and syllables.Inspired by old arabic scriptures, Karim developed his own abstract form of calligraphy using different patterns, shapes, and colors.

A japanese sculpture, was born in Japan in 1948, Graduated from the Fine Arts Institute in Tokyo, then continued his education in the Art of sculpting at the National Fine Arts Academy in Italy. Participated in many local and international events, exhibitions and symposiums in the US, Taiwan, Romania and Oman. Held many personal exhibitions where he showcased his Art in many countries across the world; Japan, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Australia, Tunisia and Egypt. Participated and won many prestigious international awards.

A Sudani sculpture, born in 1968, Graduated the College of Fine Arts in (Sculpture) in 1994. A professional Artist, participated in many local and international exhibitions in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, UAE, Egypt, China, Germany and France. Delivered many workshops in the Art of sculpting, and participated in many competitions.

A Danish sculpture, born in Jutland north of Denmark. At the age of 10 he noticed a wood sculpting studio next to his house, and he has been in love with wood carving to this day, he considers sculpting to be his vocation, his calling, and the only thing he wants to spend his days doing. Participated in many local and international events and exhibitions, in China, Switzerland, USA, Austria and Germany. Won the Holtz ART XX 11 prize in 2019. His Art work has appeared on many movies. A Spanish sculptor, born in Madrid in 1968, received his Bachelor of Fine Arts (Sculpture) from the University of Madrid. A seeker of beauty, always has an eye out for inspiration in everything he sees and confronts. Uses stone for giant sculptures, works on wood, iron, glue and cement. He won the Victoria Machu and Stone Idea Sculpture Awards in 2006. He won first place in the International Sculpture Meeting in Argentina in 2006, and first place in the International Sculpture Meeting in Chile in 2008.

A French sculptor, she has been practicing sculpting for more than 28 years, the last 10 years as a professional artist. She is self-taught, started sculpting as a hobby, out of love for making small figures, this hobby later developed to become her passion and the source of her fascination. A Saudi Sculptor, held her first personal exhibition in the eastern region in 1997, in 2008 she received an invitation from the Saudi ambassador in Germany/Berlin, to celebrate the Saudi National Day, where she held her second exhibition. The third exhibition was held at the Association of Arts and Culture in 2017 to celebrate her 20 year career. After getting her Master's degree in Art, Zahra turned to sculpting and started practicing it passionately, soon she participated at the (Nqoush Alshargya) symposium with nine sculptors. She participated in several local and international events and exhibitions, and delivered many workshops and courses in sculpture and ceramics.

‫وﻟﺪ اﻟﻨﺤّ ﺎت ﻋﻠﻲ اﻟﻄﺨﻴﺲ ﻋﺎم ‪ 1956‬ﻓﻲ ﻣﺪﻳﻨﺔ‬ ‫اﻟﺪوادﻣﻲ‪ ،‬ﻋﻤﻞ ﻣﺪرّ ًﺳﺎ ﻟﻠﺘﺮﺑﻴﺔ اﻟﻔﻨﻴﺔ‪ ،‬ودﺧﻞ ﻓﻲ‬ ‫ﻣﺠﺎل اﻟﻨﺤﺖ ﻋﻠﻰ اﻷﺣﺠﺎر ﻋﺎم ‪ ،2004‬ﻛﺎن أﺣﺪ‬ ‫اﻷﻋﻀﺎء اﻟﻤﺆﺳﺴﻴﻦ ﻟﻤﺮﺳﻢ ﻧﺎدي اﻟﺪرع ﻓﻲ‬ ‫اﻟﺪوادﻣﻲ‪ ،‬وﻣﺠﻤﻮﻋﺔ ﻓﻨﺎﻧﻲ اﻟﺪوادﻣﻲ‬ ‫اﻟﺘﺸﻜﻴﻠﻴﻴﻦ‪ ،‬وﻟﻪ ﻋﻀﻮﻳﺎت ﻣﺘﻌﺪدة ﻓﻲ ﺟﻤﻌﻴﺎت‬ ‫ﻓﻨﻴﺔ وﻣﻠﺘﻘﻴﺎت ﻟﻠﻨﺤﺎﺗﻴﻦ اﻟﻌﺮب‪ ،‬ﺷﺎرك ﻓﻲ‬ ‫ﻣﻌﻈﻢ اﻟﻤﻌﺎرض اﻟﻤﻨﻈﻤﺔ ﻣﻦ ﻗﺒﻞ ﻣﻜﺘﺐ رﻋﺎﻳﺔ‬ ‫اﻟﺸﺒﺎب ﻓﻲ اﻟﻮﺷﻢ‪ ،‬وﻣﻌﻈﻢ اﻟﻤﻌﺎرض اﻟﺘﻲ‬ ‫ﺗﻨﻈﻤﻬﺎ رﻋﺎﻳﺔ اﻟﺸﺒﺎب واﻟﺠﻤﻌﻴﺔ اﻟﺴﻌﻮدﻳﺔ‬ ‫ﻟﻠﺜﻘﺎﻓﺔ داﺧﻞ اﻟﻤﻤﻠﻜﺔ وﺧﺎرﺟﻬﺎ‪ .‬أﻗﺎم اﻟﻌﺪﻳﺪ ﻣﻦ‬ ‫اﻟﻤﻌﺎرض اﻟﺸﺨﺼﻴﺔ واﻟﺜﻨﺎﺋﻴﺔ‪ ،‬ﻛﻤﺎ ﺷﺎرك ﻓﻲ‬ ‫اﻟﻌﺪﻳﺪ ﻣﻦ اﻟﻤﻌﺎرض اﻟﻤﺤﻠﻴﺔ واﻟﺨﻠﻴﺠﻴﺔ‬ ‫واﻟﻌﺎﻟﻤﻴﺔ‪ .‬ﺣﺼﺪ اﻟﻔﻨﺎن ﻋﺪة ﺟﻮاﺋﺰ ﻓﻨﻴﺔ ﻣﻨﻬﺎ‬ ‫ﺟﻮاﺋﺰ ﻣﺘﻌﺪد ﻓﻲ اﻟﻔﻦ اﻟﺘﻄﺒﻴﻘﻲ واﻟﻤﺠﺴﻤﺎت‬ ‫ﻓﻲ ﻣﻌﺮض اﻟﺘﻘﻨﻴﺎت ﻋﻠﻰ ﻣﺪى ﻋﺪة ﺳﻨﻮات‪،‬‬ ‫واﻟﻌﺪﻳﺪ ﻣﻦ اﻟﺠﻮاﺋﺰ اﻟﻌﺎﻟﻤﻴﺔ ﻓﻲ ﺗﺮﻛﻴﺎ وﻟﺒﻨﺎن‬ ‫وﻣﺼﺮ ودول اﻟﺨﻠﻴﺞ‪.‬‬

‫‪A Saudi Sculpture, born in 1956. He‬‬ ‫‪taught Art, started sculpting in 2004‬‬ ‫‪.He was one of the founding members‬‬ ‫‪of the shield club in Dawadmi, and the‬‬ ‫‪Artist association in Dawadmi. He has‬‬ ‫‪multiple memberships in several art‬‬ ‫‪associations and forums of Arab‬‬ ‫‪sculptors. Participated in many‬‬ ‫‪international and local events‬‬ ‫‪exhibitions and forums. Held many‬‬ ‫‪personal exhibitions, including four‬‬ ‫‪sculpture exhibitions. He won several‬‬ ‫‪awards in Lebanon, Egypt and the‬‬ ‫‪GCC.‬‬

A Saudi Sculpture, born in Saihat in the Eastern Province in 1954. Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, Italy. He was the head of cultural affairs at the youth welfare in the Eastern Province until his retirement. Participated in several local and international Art exhibitions. Held his first personal exhibition (Farsi) in Dammam, Jeddah, Kuwait, Sharjah and Bahrain, where he presented a special musical about his Art and Vision. Won several awards, such as the Gold medal at the International Festival of Fine Arts in Tunisia, and First place in sculpture at the 18th Saudi Contemporary Art Exhibition. He participated in more than one symposium: The Ninth Changchun International Sculpture Symposium in China with his sculpture (The silk of Horse), the inscription sculpture symposium in Khobar, and the Misk foundation International Sculpture Symposium in Riyadh.

An Egyptian Sculpture, born in 1956. He graduated from Assiut University – College of Fine Arts with a Masters degree. Member of the Syndicate of Fine Artists, member of the Cairo Atelier Society of Writers and Artists, and a member of the Advisory Board of the Chairman of the Culture Authority in the Directorate of Culture, and other international and local memberships. Founded the symposium of stone sculpture for Egyptian university students in 2003. Supervised more than one symposium for sculpture in many Egyptian universities. Founded the international forum (South-South dialogue). He has participated in many local and international art exhibitions. Has various international activities and participations. He represented Egypt in the Fine Arts Exhibition in Bosnia. Has many sculptural pieces in display, including a statue of the crossing boat in memory of the October War with a group of artists, and a memorial to the names of Allah at Al-Azhar Square. The artist has won many awards and has Art work displayed at the Royal National Museum in Amman, and the Museum of Modern Art in Egypt, some of his pieces are also owned by individuals in Egypt, France, Mexico, Jordan, Pakistan and Germany.

‫وﻟﺪ ﻋﻠﻲ اﻟﺠﺎﺑﺮي ﻓﻲ ﻣﺪﻳﻨﺔ ﺻﺤﺎر ﻋﺎم ‪،1980‬‬ ‫وﻧﺸﺄ ﻓﻲ ﺑﻴﺌﺔ ﻣﻤﺰوﺟﺔ ﺑﺎﻟﻌﻠﻮم واﻵداب‪،‬‬ ‫وﺗﺸﻜﻠﺖ ﻣﻦ ﺧﻼل ﻟﻌﺒﻪ ﺑﺎﻟﻄﻴﻦ ﻣﻨﺬ ﻃﻔﻮﻟﺘﻪ‬ ‫اﺗﺠﺎﻫﺎ ﻓﻨﻴً ﺎ‬ ‫ﻣﻔﺎﻫﻴﻢ اﻟﻨﺤﺖ ﻟﺘﻜﺒﺮ ﻣﻌﻪ وﺗﺸﻜﻞ‬ ‫ً‬ ‫ﺑﻌﺪ دراﺳﺘﻪ اﻷﻛﺎدﻳﻤﻴﺔ ﻟﻠﺘﺮﺑﻴﺔ اﻟﻔﻨﻴﺔ ﺛﻢ ﺗﺠﺮﻳﺒﻪ‬ ‫ﻟﻌﺪد ﻛﺒﻴﺮ ﻣﻦ اﻟﺨﺎﻣﺎت واﻟﺘﻘﻨﻴﺎت اﻟﻨﺤﺘﻴﺔ‪ ،‬ﻟﻴﺴﺘﻘﺮ‬ ‫ﺑﻪ اﻟﻤﻘﺎم ﻋﻨﺪ ﻣﺤﺎوراﺗﻪ اﻟﻌﻔﻮﻳﺔ ﻣﻊ اﻟﺮﺧﺎم ﻣﻨﺬ‬ ‫ﻋﺎم ‪ ،2012‬واﻟﺘﻲ ﺣﺼﺪت اﻟﺠﺎﺋﺰة اﻟﻜﺒﺮى ﻓﻲ‬ ‫ﻣﻌﺮض اﻟﺠﻤﻌﻴﺔ اﻟﻌﻤﺎﻧﻴﺔ ﻟﻠﻔﻨﻮن اﻟﺘﺸﻜﻴﻠﻴﺔ‪ ،‬ﺛﻢ‬ ‫ﺟﺎﺋﺰة اﻗﺘﻨﺎء ﻓﻲ ﻣﻬﺮﺟﺎن اﻟﺨﻠﻴﺞ اﻷول ﻟﻠﻔﻨﻮن‬ ‫اﻟﺒﺼﺮﻳﺔ ﻓﻲ اﻟﺮﻳﺎض‪ ،‬ﻟﺘﺴﺘﻤﺮ ﺑﻌﺪﻫﺎ اﻹﻧﺠﺎزات‬ ‫وﺣﺼﺪ اﻟﺠﻮاﺋﺰ ﻓﻲ ﻣﺠﺎل اﻟﻨﺤﺖ‪ ،‬واﻟﻤﺸﺎرﻛﺎت‬ ‫اﻟﺪوﻟﻴﺔ واﻟﻤﻌﺎرض اﻟﻔﺮدﻳﺔ واﻟﺠﻤﺎﻋﻴﺔ داﺧﻞ ﻋﻤﺎن‬ ‫وﺧﺎرﺟﻬﺎ‪ .‬ﺗﻤﺨﻀﺖ ﻋﻦ ﺗﻠﻚ اﻟﻤﺸﺎرﻛﺎت ﻣﺠﻤﻮﻋﺔ‬ ‫ﻣﻦ اﻟﺘﺠﺎرب اﻟﻨﺎﺿﺠﺔ ﺗُ ّﻮﺟﺖ ﺑﺎﻟﻤﺰاوﺟﺔ ﺑﻴﻦ اﻟﺨﺸﺐ‬ ‫واﻟﺮﺧﺎم ﻓﻲ ﺗﺮاﻛﻴﺐ وﺣﻮارات ﻋﻔﻮﻳﺔ ﺗﻌﻜﺲ‬ ‫ﻋﻼﻗﺎت وﻣﻔﺎﻫﻴﻢ ﻣﺮﺗﺒﻄﺔ ﺑﺎﻟﺤﻴﺎة واﻹﻧﺴﺎن‪ .‬وﻟﻢ‬ ‫ﻳﻘﺘﺼﺮ دوره ﻋﻠﻰ اﻻﺷﺘﻐﺎل ﺑﺎﻟﻨﺤﺖ‪ ،‬وإﻧﻤﺎ ﻗﺪم‬ ‫اﻟﻌﺪﻳﺪ ﻣﻦ اﻟﺒﺤﻮث واﻟﺪراﺳﺎت واﻹﺳﻬﺎﻣﺎت ﻓﻲ‬ ‫ﻣﺠﺎل اﻟﻔﻨﻮن اﻟﺘﺸﻜﻴﻠﻴﺔ‪ ،‬ﻛﻤﺎ أﺳﺲ ﻣﺠﻤﻮﻋﺔ‬ ‫ﻣﻦ اﻟﻤﻨﺎﺷﻂ واﻟﻔﻌﺎﻟﻴﺎت اﻟﺮاﻣﻴﺔ إﻟﻰ إﺛﺮاء اﻟﺤﺮاك‬ ‫اﻟﻔﻨﻲ اﻟﺘﺸﻜﻴﻠﻲ ﻣﻦ ﺧﻼل ﻓﻦ ﺻﺤﺎر ﻛﻤﺨﻴﻢ‬ ‫اﻟﻨﺤﺎﺗﻴﻦ اﻟﺪوﻟﻲ‪.‬‬

‫‪An Omani Sculpture, born in 1980. He‬‬ ‫‪grew up in a family that values science‬‬ ‫‪and literature. As a child he loved‬‬ ‫‪playing with clay which he believes‬‬ ‫‪helped him know himself as a‬‬ ‫‪sculpture from a young age. In 2012‬‬ ‫‪he won the grand prize at the Omani‬‬ ‫‪Association of Fine Arts exhibition,‬‬ ‫‪then an award at the first Gulf Festival‬‬ ‫‪of Visual Arts in Riyadh. These‬‬ ‫‪participations accumulated‬‬ ‫‪experiences which were then‬‬ ‫‪translated into his artwork, through‬‬ ‫‪creating dialogues between different‬‬ ‫‪materials such as wood and marble.‬‬ ‫‪Not only did he work as a sculptor, he‬‬ ‫‪also wrote many papers and‬‬ ‫‪conducted studies and delivered‬‬ ‫‪many contributions to field. He also‬‬ ‫‪established a number of activities‬‬ ‫‪aimed at enriching the artistic‬‬ ‫‪movement such as the international‬‬ ‫‪sculpture Camp.‬‬

A Saudi Sculpture, She holds a Master's degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design. she is currently expanding her work through the use of natural ground materials, minerals and rocks to demonstrate the relationship between the Creator and the world, and to display that relationship in a new light. She has held personal exhibitions, participated in collaborative events and won many awards on a local and international scale. She firmly believes in Arts ability to enhance the community’s appreciation of beauty. Born in a small village called Torano in 1964, her father is Lucio Carusi, a well-known sculptor .The Carusi family has passed down the secrets of carving white marble through several generations. She declared her commitment to the craft of sculpting at a very young age when she began working at her uncle's studio in Italy. In 1992, she opened a Studio with her father and brother. She combines theory and practice and experiments with many different material. Christina leaves nothing to chance or luck, every detail in her works is well thought, deep philosophical meditation is present in all her work. She participated in many exhibitions, forums, international and local competitions. She delivered many courses and workshops to teach the different techniques and skills of sculpting.

A Saudi sculpture, Born in 1982, got involved with Art and Art exhibitions at a very young age. He works with several government agencies and galleries, has participated in more than 180 local and international exhibitions, events, and forums. His pieces are in display at various locations throughout the Kingdom, Oman and Kuwait. Some of his pieces are owned by several government agencies, Royal family members, Ministers, Businessmen and Grand Hotels across the globe.

A Saudi Sculptor and Poet, born in 1968, a self-taught sculpture. In his early beginnings he was more focused on working with wood, he then moved to stone and started working with its different kinds. He participated in several local and international exhibitions, festivals and forums, and won several awards. He participated in the sculpture symposium at the first art park in the Kingdom, and the symposium of the Elite of Saudi art. His pieces are at display at Al-Masmak Palace, and owned by several royal family members, Businessmen and Artists. He also designed the trophy’s of the first and second olive branch festival, and an anti-terrorism monument which he presented to the government, and one of his most important works is the model of Denmark in response to the offensive media campaign against the Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him).

A Moroccan sculptor and Artist. Participated in many international and local forums and exhibitions since 1994, he began his career as an Artist in France when he participated at the Cultural Week in Sete, then in Marseille, and continued till his first international exhibition of marble sculpture in 2000. He has participated in exhibitions in Japan, Bahrain, Russia, Oman, Kuwait, the United States, China and Saudi Arabia.
