from the president On behalf of the Board of Governors of the Missouri Athletic Club, we would like to extend to all our fellow members a happy holiday season. I would like to thank Governor Beckette, Governor Brandom, Governor Pennington and Governor Malyszko for their third holiday season on the board. Their support, input, and guidance have helped drive the positive direction of the Club. Thank you to Cathy, Jessica, Genna, Anne and Mary. We all know without your support we would be five misguided elves. Thank you to Past Governor Judith Hanses and Past Governor Mel Burkart for the outstanding Veterans Day luncheon. It was an honor to thank those who have served and those who continue to serve. I was spellbound to spend time with Veteran of the Year, Clarence Cherry, and hear his story of the B-17 heavy bomber group called the “Rogers Raiders.” The table was silent as he told us his experience of the B-17 being shot down in the North Sea. Wounded with 10 other airmen, they spent 40 hours in the cold water. They were picked up by Danish fishermen that were sympathetic to Germany and were being taken back to shore to be turned over as prisoners of war. A British Air Force plane saw the boats and was able to change the fishermen’s minds after strafing the boat a few times. To hear history and know it was not a movie but the real experience of a WWII war hero is why we celebrate these brave veterans at the MAC. As members, we have many reasons to be thankful. The Missouri Athletic Club continues to deliver premier experiences. The staff of the Club is the finest in the region. Take time to share the Club with family and friends and enjoy all the Club has to offer. At the end of the day, this is your Club. The Club is entering a very busy social time. December, January, and February are filled with events that help us make it through the winter months. Let’s review a few of the outstanding activities. Early in December, we have the Apollos

Nursing Home Tour, Cocktails with Santa and the Holiday Victorian Wine Dinner. These three events are all scheduled for Dec. 2. You can join Peter Dunne and his band of merry men to celebrate the Christmas Season during lunch at a local nursing facility. Come back to the Club and join the Mark Twain Society for the holiday season kick-off and end the day at a black-tie Wine Society Dickens-inspired dinner. Welcome to just one day in December at the Missouri Athletic Club. You will not find these diverse activities at any other private or athletic club in the area. And this is just one day! Need another busy day where you can see the Club shine? How about Thursday, Dec. 5? The Club will host the 50th Annual Jack Buck Awards dinner presented by Maryville University in the Missouri Room. In case you were not able to land a ticket to that event, you can go to the Sportsman’s Club and enjoy the Associates Holiday Pregame Party that will benefit St. Louis Children’s Hospital and the MAC Charitable Society for Children. Breakfast with Santa, the train display downtown, Christmas Eve Dinner and Christmas Day Dinner are all outstanding events to make a holiday tradition with your family. Please check the MAC’s social media platforms to see dates, times and to schedule your activities. Membership will be hosting a Taste and Tour downtown at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16. The event is complimentary. This is an excellent event to bring a friend whereby that guest may see firsthand all the MAC has to offer. We are getting close to our cap number of 2,500 members, so please do not wait to invite friends to join the history of the MAC. Phase Two construction at the West Clubhouse is moving along on schedule. The improvement to our facility will be outstanding. Don’t worry about enjoying the holiday season with beverages and goodies because you will have first-class facilities to work off the excess.

Thank you to those who have contributed to the MAC Employee Holiday Fund. This is a voluntary contribution that will be reflected on your statement. You can add to it or change it any way you see fit. This money goes to the employees and a small fee to each of the foundations. We are a no-tipping Club, so this helps show our support to the employees. If you have any questions, please call the Accounting Department. Please be on the lookout for the Hermann Trophy Dinner, Boxing Night, Women of Distinction Lunch, Preservation Trulaske Dinner and the United States Basketball Writers Award Dinner. These events will keep us busy until the middle of April. The best way to guarantee a seat at any of these events is to be a sponsor. Please contact the club to see how you can participate. Bogey Hills Country Club is the latest local private country club to join the expanding list of reciprocal golf clubs that MAC members can utilize. As MAC members, we can play up to 10 rounds a year and enjoy dining at their restaurants. All your charges will be billed back to your MAC account. Adding Bogey now gives our members access to seven clubs throughout the region. What a great value that adds to your MAC membership. You are only charged if you use it. The board’s goal is to add other amenities like this without having to make a capital expenditure. Have a safe and prosperous holiday season. Every member has a tremendous impact on the Club, your family and friends. A wise angel once said in a well-known movie: “Strange, isn’t it? Each man’s life touches so many other lives. When he isn’t around, he leaves an awful hole, doesn’t he?” We do have a “Wonderful Life.”

Kevin Cantwell, President Missouri Athletic Club

from the general manager ‘Tis the season for holiday gift-giving! Each year, I’m amazed at how philanthropic this Club is. It’s so heartwarming this time of year to see our members step up and support the employees through the annual holiday fund. A small percentage of it is peeled off for our foundations, which ends up helping kids in the St. Louis area through our Charitable Society for Children. So many people give more than the suggested amount in appreciation of our staff, and we love seeing all the nice notes that come along with it. I want to send a big thank you to everyone who steps up and helps out. You help make this Club premier! Santa has come calling and will be here for our sell-out events this month. Come on down and see the train and gingerbread house displays at the Downtown Clubhouse, which always look awesome. We have Breakfast with Santa at the Downtown Clubhouse on Dec. 14 and 21 and at the West Clubhouse on the 15th. The Club looks beautiful all decorated up for the holidays and continues to grow year after year, thanks to our member volunteers and dedicated staff. Visit the MAC website or flip the pages of this magazine to see all the activities happening over the course of this busy month. Many of you will attend holiday parties this year – ones with family, friends and perhaps with your company. Though it may seem so far away, it’s never too early to start thinking

about booking your party at the MAC for next Christmas season. The Club books up quickly for the holidays each year, so please let us know sooner rather than later if your company is interested in hosting their holiday festivities at either clubhouse. Come have some holiday cheer at the MAC! Phase Two construction continues at the West Clubhouse. G. S. & S. Construction is flying through this project and have done an unbelievable job already. They maintain a safe, clean work zone and are making good progress. Some of you have probably seen the renderings of the spinning studio (see the story on page 11) and are excited to be able to start to visualize the space. Right now, they’re figuring out where outlets should go and how the space should be wired for the sound system. It’s going to be dynamic, as will the kids’ space, which is also in the works. We hope you’ve been enjoying the update videos we’ve been sharing on our social media platforms and look forward to seeing the project continue to grow in the coming weeks as build-back materializes. We just had a security risk assessment with Whelan Security at the Downtown and West Clubhouses to talk about safety of members and staff and find out ways we can improve. We’re reviewing the report now and will implement any kind of recommendations they give us. We want this Club to be as safe for everybody as it possibly can be.

After the holidays are over, we’ll be gearing up for football’s return to St. Louis! The BattleHawks are coming to town – our very own homegrown team. It’ll be a nice attraction for downtown, and we’ll be able to get some activity in the Dome and some tailgating happening. The MAC has already blocked off the times for the BattleHawks’ home games here, so don’t forget to circle these dates on your calendars: Feb. 23, Feb. 29, March 21, April 5 and April 12. There’s been a big void in the city and the Dome since the traitors left town, and I think this will prove to be great for our region. I met with BattleHawks president Kurt Hunzeker and his team and heard all about how fast-paced, family-friendly and affordable these games are going to be. I think the style and format of this new league will be intriguing and fun, and it’s great to have some St. Louis natives like L’Damian Washington and Marcus Lucas who are returning to play football here. Don’t forget to stop by the Clubhouse before, during and after games to cheer on our newest team and enjoy some drinks and appetizers. Happy holidays from the MAC! See you at the Club,

Wally Smith, General Manager Missouri Athletic Club

The Club looks beautiful all decorated up for the holidays and continues to grow year after year, thanks to our member volunteers and dedicated staff. Visit the MAC website or flip the pages of this magazine to see all the activities happening over the course of this busy month.

P HASE T WO DECE MBE R UPDATE

WEST CLUBHOUSE FITNESS CENTER RENOVATION As construction on the Phase Two project at the West Clubhouse moves into its fourth month, the demolition aspect has been completed. According to athletic director Jeff Tuhro, all steel structures and supports are in place now. “They’ve begun framing out several rooms such as our spinning studio on the build-back,” he said. The first week of November, the West Clubhouse fitness parking lot was closed so the water main could be attached to the fire hydrant. This was to prepare for putting in the sprinkler system, which is part of the upgrades coming in early 2020. “All equipment has been ordered for the functional training room, and we’re working on other purchases now,” Tuhro said. “We just had a demo of the leaderboard technology for the spinning studio to finalize that purchase, too.” The spinning studio renderings are available now, giving members a preview of what’s to come. Tuhro also mentioned they were participating in a demo for the metabolic assessment software on Nov. 11. “We’ve begun working on our new programming schedule for when we open,” he said. “Watch for future updates about specific technology changes and programming.” RENDERINGS FROM TOP: SPINNING CLASSROOM DESIGN AND NORTH SECTION THROUGH CLASSROOM.

For the latest news on the upgrades, keep an eye on the MAC website. Upcoming issues of the Cherry Diamond will feature mini-stories on sections of the Phase Two project as they are completed.

Alton History Revealed to Forever Young Club Members Many people do not know that the city of Alton, IL played an important role during the political career and administration of President Abraham Lincoln, but members of the Forever Young Club who traveled there on Oct. 22 learned otherwise. At each of their stops, the FYC enjoyed hearing from historical characters dressed in period costumes who related stories of their lives in Alton during the Civil War era. A United States Senator from Illinois, an Alton resident, told of how he introduced the Constitutional Amendment abolishing slavery (at President Lincoln's behest) and the background behind the movement. Similarly, a gentleman depicting the president's son, Robert Todd Lincoln, detailed aspects of his father's career, including the fact that the last Lincoln-Douglas debate was held in Alton on the site of his presentation. Others described how Alton served as a prison camp for captured Confederate soldiers. Following lunch at a restaurant overlooking the Mississippi River, the FYC was given an extensive tour of the Melvin Price Locks and Dam. There they learned how the Mississippi River serves as an important route for barge traffic going from New Orleans north to the Twin Cities in Minnesota. This provides an important and cost-effective method of transporting freight. The FYC was taught how the locks and dam operate to effectively control the flow of the river to permit barge and other marine traffic to travel on the river. Eventually, the group was able to witness a 15-barge tow passing through one of the locks on a southbound route. What is a Forever Young Club trip without a stop for ice cream? They satisfied their sweet tooth in East Alton with Blue Ice Creamery’s 24 flavors, which change daily. Anyone for Dr. Pepper ice cream? Overall, the trip proved to be both informative and educational, thanks to Carol and Joe Hoffman, who organized the excursion.

CLASSICS AND COCKTAILS ROLLS BACK TO THE MAC On Oct. 18, the MAC hosted the third annual Classics and Cocktails event sponsored by the Business Development Group. This year, the West Clubhouse parking lot featured 24 unique automobiles from members’ own collections. Members and guests had the opportunity to mingle, talk to owners and hear each vehicle’s individual stories. Proceeds from the event went toward supporting the MAC’s 2019 Charitable Society for Children’s Charities — Midtown Community Services, Books for STL Kids and the Jackie Joyner-Kersee Foundation.

SPORTS PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR AWARD TURNS 50 Berube to be honored at the Jack Buck Awards on Dec. 5

presented by The 2019 Jack Buck Awards, presented by Maryville University, is shaping up to be a night to remember at the Club. With more than 3 million fans packing Busch Stadium throughout the season to see the Cardinals capture the National League Central, St. Louis landing a Major League Soccer franchise and the Blues capturing their first Stanley Cup in franchise history, it was a year to celebrate in local sports. The banquet will recognize some of the people who made these memorable moments possible and also commemorate the 50th anniversary of the event MAC member Jack Buck helped create. Blues coach Craig Berube will be presented the Sports Personality of the Year Award. Berube took over as the interim coach early in the 2018-19 season and led St. Louis to a historic Stanley Cup championship run. Carolyn Kindle Betz and Jim Kavanaugh, who successfully led the MLS4THELOU effort, will receive the Jack Buck Award. Cardinals President of Baseball Operations John Mozeliak will receive the Stan “the Man” Award. Blues great Bobby Plager will receive the Legends Award. Serving Up Christmas 16 F Cherry Diamond F DEC 2019

AT THE MAC

Dear MAC members, Ho, ho, ho! It’s finally December, and you know what that means? Mrs. Claus and I are returning to the Missouri Athletic Club to celebrate the Christmas season with you and your families. My wife and I stopped by the Downtown Clubhouse not long ago to get a sneak peek at what is happening this year, and we think you’ll like what is coming. As something of a cookieaficionado myself, I naturally wanted to stop by the kitchens to check on the gingerbread display first. When we popped in to see our pastry chef, we found ourselves down the rabbit hole in the middle of an Alice in Wonderland-themed display complete with giant mushrooms, the Cheshire Cat and, of course, the Mad Hatter. After seeing all the hard work that the MAC’s team put into their display, we were inspired to create a gingerbread house of our own! We also had the opportunity to tinker with part of the time-honored train display that circles the Downtown Clubhouse lobby each year. With our bellies filled, we headed over to meet with the Director of Special Events and the Catering staff to run through our schedule this year. We kick off our season with the Apollos Nursing Home Tour on Monday, Dec. 2 at 11:30 a.m. This year, we’re traveling to Mary Ryder Home, Dutchtown Care and Rehab Center, Riverview Home and Altenheim to sing Christmas carols with the MAC’s acclaimed Apollos and bring a little Christmas spirit to the hearts of the people in these homes. After returning to the MAC, we’re right back at it with the Apollos for Cocktails with Santa. Members can stop by the Crystal Room at the Downtown Clubhouse for a festive holiday season kickoff after work complete with carols and plenty of wassail to go around. With the lobby decorated to the hilt and trains running through the fabulous gingerbread houses, what better time to share the Club with your family and friends? Or just stop by to tell us what’s on your Christmas list this year. Don’t think we’re only coming to the Club to see the adults, though. On Dec. 14, 15 and 21 we will have the opportunities to meet with all the good little girls and boys while enjoying delicious meals. Make a reservation to see us at the Downtown Clubhouse for Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 14 or 21. Enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet set by Executive Chef Barton Philipps followed by gingerbread house making, face painting and other activities. Then, stop by and see us for a special photo opportunity. We’ll have a special early Christmas present for each child. If the West Clubhouse is more convenient for you, don’t worry! Mrs. Claus and I are planning to be there as well for the Family Brunch with Santa on Sunday, Dec. 15. Enjoy all of your brunch buffet favorites and visit with me at this exciting event. Kids will also have plenty of activities to make their day special like cookie decorating, coloring and more. Whether you’re going to Breakfast with Santa or the Family Brunch with Santa, make sure to bring your cameras to capture the fun! Mrs. Claus and I are so excited to be back at our favorite Club this Christmas and can’t wait to see everyone again. Ho, ho, ho! And Merry Christmas! Love,

ODE TO MRS. CLAUS

When Debbie Burke first joined the Missouri Athletic Club staff in 1997, she caught word that the MAC was searching for Santa’s better half. Not one to turn down an opportunity, she volunteered. Now, 22 years later, she’s become a staple not just at Christmas time, but all the time at the West Clubhouse. When asked what she enjoys most about being Mrs. Claus, Burke simply states, “it’s all happiness.” She went on to say that even though Santa is the main attraction, many kids have grown to not only accept, but love her as well. Even though she has now retired, she does not intend to stop performing her Christmas duties, saying that she intends to come back each year as long as the MAC will have her. “The members mean everything to me. They’re so appreciative. It’s sometimes like I’m their second wife,” said Burke. Cherry Diamond F DEC 2019 F 17

GETTING AN A+ EDUCATION Whether a child is about to start kindergarten or high school, choosing where they will get their education is an important decision. Many different types of schools exist in St. Louis, so it is important to choose which one works best for them. Whether it is private, public or independent, each child requires a unique environment best-suited to help them succeed. SIZE Will a child feel more comfortable in a smaller class or larger class? While smaller class sizes seem to be the more attractive choice for parents, researchers in Denmark found through their studies—many of which were done in the United States—that smaller class sizes are not as beneficial as was previously thought. Though smaller class sizes provide more individualization, larger class sizes can provide more opportunities in other departments while not sacrificing a strong education. ATHLETIC PROGRAMS If children have an interest in playing sports, it is helpful to begin looking at each school’s athletic program. Research the

desired sport at St. Louis schools to find out if it is offered and if it is the best fit for your child. Private local schools take pride in their sports teams and go the extra mile to ensure students get the most out of the experience, whether they are in the game or cheering from the bleachers. EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES Each of the many private schools in the St. Louis area offer different programs to help children get involved in their schools. Programs such as fine arts, robotics clubs, career clubs and more help enrich students’ experiences and broaden their horizons. Ask for the school’s organization list to find the perfect place for your student.

accomplishment, cheering on classmates or grieving through tragedy, the St. Louis school community supports its students. A sense of community enriches children’s private school experience. FIT While some might be tempted to gain admission to the most competitive or exciting school possible, be sure that this child is a good fit for the school. Will this school be too challenging? Or too simple? Distinguish what each school emphasizes in terms of their education. Is it STEM, sports, diversity or something else? And does this align with the family’s and child’s goals? FINANCIAL AID Private schools do not have to equate to depleting the savings account. Many area schools have financial aid programs for children to get the best education possible. From grants to loans, many schools are more than willing to help out during this stressful yet important decision.

While it may not be the biggest priority in finding the perfect fit, distance can play a large role in the private school experience. From drop off to sports practices to studying at a friend’s house, consider the commute. Will it be more of a hassle than it is worth? If the answer is yes, it may be prudent to seek out a better fit closer to home. WORKLOAD Many private schools have high expectations for the pace at which they want their students to learn. With different levels and tracks, schools offer customized learning plans to help children learn to the best of their abilities. Research schools’ minimum test grades and learn about the day-to-day work that students complete on a weekly basis. Schools in the St. Louis area welcome visitors throughout the year with open

houses. Open houses feature group tours of the school, meet-and-greets with faculty and staff and upcoming events. Parents can also make an appointment with the school and set up a one-on-one tour. Inquire about your child’s specific interests and how each school can help foster these passions. STRUCTURE Each child has a different learning style, and by sending them to a school that caters to their individual needs, parents can set them up for a successful future. By asking if this child needs a more or less-structured environment, parents can narrow their search for the perfect school. A traditional education works well for many students, but schools with a non-traditional structure can help give students more real-world experiences.

The tournament competition was stronger than ever and equally fun! After four rounds of doubles, the scores were tight, and five players made it into the playoffs. MAC V. RACQUET CLUB CHAMPIONS CUP

By Alex Ingham, Director of Squash On Oct. 24, the much-anticipated showdown took place between Missouri Athletic Club and the Racquet Club of St. Louis. Pat Dolan started the proceedings against the experienced Preston Amos of RC. The first two games were closely contested with the second going to extra points, but ended with Amos giving the crowd a backhand drop shot clinic and closed out in three. Mark “Hurricane” Kornfeld is a storm to be reckoned with. The first three games were played at a furious pace, cat-and-mouse rallies combined with delicate soft touches at the front. A few times, Kornfeld was laid out flat on his back after diving across the court, only to jump up, sprint back and slot in the winner. Goltermann was running out of ideas, as Kornfeld took the wind out of his sails, and he sunk. 3-1 to the MAC. Tramelli and Bertarelli were 2-0 down only to square up the match. It was nip-andtuck all the way through only to just fall short, 15-10, in the fifth. Sansone and Rallo were all over Rosenfeld and Medler. Rallo getting stuck in like a cat amongst the pigeons, working the RC lads around the court combined with Sansone’s clinical kills closed out the RC hopes of sneaking a game. Rallo was back on the court for C Singles, continuing winning ways with a business-like performance, 3-0 MAC. Healey and Freund battled hard, but couldn’t sneak a game. Healey also doubled up and went straight to D Singles afterwards. Like a true sprinter, Healey was opening his legs and showing his class only to just fall short at the finish line. The final deciding match was the A Doubles with Parker and Gaertner taking on the usual suspects in Preston and Graham.

Parker and Gaertner have won the last couple of times they have matched up, however, playing at the RC lair is not an easy task. After a nail-biting back-and-forth, the MAC was able to secure a win, 15-12. This win meant the MAC and RC tied the fixture overall in matches and games, a fitting end to a classic match and the first tie in the history of the Cup. The RC retains the Cup.

NOTABLE MENTIONS: Henry Byrne won the Boys u17 Vernon Hills Tournament on Oct. 19-20 and the T Squash Academy Junior Bronze. CJ Goot was the runner-up in the boys U15 at the T Squash Academy Junior Bronze.

RESULTS: Singles: A: Pat Dolan vs. Preston Amos 0-3 B: Mark Kornfeld vs. Rob Goltermann 3-1 C: Derek Rallo vs. Alvin Wolff 3-0 D: Dan Healey vs. Jon Keating 0-3 Doubles: A: Craig Parker & Mark Gaertner vs. Preston & Graham 3-1 B: Tony Tramelli & Marco Bertarelli vs. Doug Rendleman & Kevin Maher 2-3 C: Tony Sansone & Derek Rallo vs. Rob Rosenfeld & Andrew Medler 3-0 D: Dan Healey & Andrew Freund vs. David Trulaske & L. WAT E R A E RO B I CS G ET S A NEW NAME

Aqua Fit

The MAC’s longtime downtown water aerobics class, led by Rob Scheer, is getting a new name: Aqua Fit. The concept takes aquatic fitness to another level, says Scheer, a 35-year veteran exercise teacher for the Club. “We still begin with aqua paddles to loosen up,” he said. “But then things get a

little more intense.” Scheer will split the class, sending one group to the deep end to swim butterfly or breaststroke, while the other goes to the shallow end to lift weighted bars. The rep sequence is usually 10 to 12 reps, and the exercises are the basics: presses, front and back curls, rows, reverse

curls, etc. with a goal of getting two sets in. There’s also plenty of cardio, using aqua dumbbells to do “moon running.” “Older adults need this class. A water format is easier on the joints, and range of motion has an easier time in water due to lack of gravity,” Scheer said.

PICKLEBALL KICKOFF On. Saturday, Oct. 12, the Pickleball Kickoff event proved to be successful with 26 players, both members and guests in attendance with levels ranging from "I play some tennis but have never played pickleball before," to the top level pickleball players in St. Louis! Once the new players got used to the short paddle and the lower bounce of the ball, they excelled. Head Pickleball Pro Dave Schwent and Tennis Director Kim Steinmetz helped organize play, teach rules, give strategy tips and play in as needed. With lively rallies, 11-point games and minimal time between points, there were several calls for "a rematch!"

From there, he played professionally for the Arizona Cardinals (NFL) and Montreal Allouttees (CFL). A SPOOK-TACULAR TRUNK-R-TREAT!

After being rescheduled from the previous day due to rain, Sunday, Oct. 27 brought perfect weather for Trunk-R-Treat in the parking lot of the West Clubhouse. Parents mingled while their little princesses, superheroes, creepy creatures and more went from one

decorated car to another gathering the tastiest goodies to add to their Halloween baskets. Families even brought their dogs to join in the fun, making the day extra special.

WOMEN OF DISTINCTION Since 2011, the Missouri Athletic Club has honored six women from the St. Louis area who have demonstrated vision in business/professional, civic engagement, philanthropic programs and mentorship. These honorees have made a significant impact in many different ways, but mostly through demonstrating boundless excellence, growth, grit/determination and empathy. In 2020, the MAC will continue the

tradition of honoring six women from the community and one Rising Star. The Rising Star should be someone 35 years of age or younger who is leading the next generation of professional women to new heights. To nominate someone for the prestigious Women of Distinction award, please fill out the nomination form located online under Social > Women’s Initiative Group and provide supporting documents by Friday, Dec. 20 to Katie Maurer at kmaurer@mac-

On Nov. 13, members and their guests gathered around the West Clubhouse for the holiday season’s annual Sip and Shop, sponsored by the Women’s Initiative Group. This event provided the opportunity to get an early start on holiday shopping while enjoying a glass of wine and appetizers. Vendors transformed the 1903 dining room into a shopping wonderland that featured candles, home décor, jewelry and more.

DINNER WITH EXECUTIVE CHEF BART Multiple culinary award-winning Chef Bart and his staff surprised 24 MAC foodies with an elegant cooking demonstration and a dining experience during the first-ever cooking demonstration sponsored by the Women’s Initiative Group. First on the menu was an incredible Caesar salad accompanied by a delicious gigantic parmesan crisp. Chef Bart offered tips that will make it easy to replicate at home. The main course consisted of a pepper steak with green peppercorn cognac Dijon cream sauce. While that may sound difficult to cook, Chef Bart’s presentation made it so even novice cooks in the group were ready to duplicate the impressive dinner. Executive Sous Chef Giuliani prepared dinners in the back to satiate the group of food lovers waiting to experience the dishes for themselves. Then, they finished the show with a spectacular and delicious flaming brownie cherries jubilee dessert. With recipes for everything in hand, diners left asking when Chef Bart will do it again.
