W ELLNESS W EEK HIGHLIGHTS OFFERINGS FOR FEMALE MEMBERS
The week of May 11-15 was devoted to celebrating the women of the MAC, sponsored by the Women’s Initiative Group. The third annual event looked a bit different this year as it was held virtually for members to fill out on their own schedules, helping them to remain engaged in the Club while the doors were closed. To help make this week a possibility, fitness instructors Paul Helfrich, Courtney Hutt and Joy Holdmeier created online content for these members to complete including yoga, cardio, circuit training and more! West Clubhouse catering manager Emma Pranger helped participants cook up some delicious,
healthy meals with recipes for breakfast through dinner. She also debuted a special fresh-pressed juice named Wonder Woman Juice for the week. Additionally, Curbside To Go offered a special healthy wok on that Monday. Finally, the Pro Shop put on a sale for the event, which included 20% off of any item in the shop. Throughout the week, members documented their participation in daily events with bingo cards. For each activity, members were asked to submit a photo as proof. Those who marked off five activities in a row or of the same color and submitted them got bingo. They received a coupon for a
complimentary fresh-pressed juice and were entered to win the grand prize of a head-totoe fitness outfit. The grand prize winner was Stacie Wines Brasseur, who got the healthy wok from Curbside To Go, read a book, participated in mother-daughter yoga, went for a run and watched a West Clubhouse Phase Two video to win. Other members who won bingo include Meg Clarke, Libby Garner, Elisabeth Gale Lewis, Gov. Cheri McLaughlin, Jennifer Pawlitz and Ashley Wunderlich. The next event is scheduled to take place in January 2021.
