As the silver and copper nuggets were not found in the junior pit after an hour, the Festival Association decided to divide the second and third place prize money between the 10 children who were digging at the end. Joint placegetters were – Jaiden Coombes, Wyatt Coombes, Dylan Crane, Rebecca Harris, James Haris, Alex Harris, Savannah Latcham, Grace Donaldson, Ashtyn Donald and Lucy Crane. Second (silver) and third (copper) nuggets were found by Tyler Cowley and George Tucker respectively in the 12 -17 year old group. Best Overall Float – Country Club for Accommodation, Best Commercial – Mane Street Hair Studio, Best noncommercial – Mount Morgan Central State School, Most innovative – Country Club for Accommodation, Best Character – Rockhampton Regional Council, Best Scooter/Bike/Skateboard – George Tucker and Encouragement Saydi-lee Coombes. The Heritage Minerals Running the Cutter winners were the CQ Bulls, followed by the Wallys in second place and the Anchorman (NewsXpress) in third place. The Golden Mount Festival Raffle donated by 11 - 25 MAY 2022

Mount Morgan Outdoors and the Railway Hotel were won by Mark and Rosie (1st), C. Wooley (2nd) and Brayden Sealy (3rd).
