How did you get to where you are now in your career? Tell us something interesting about you, something inspiring. Don't be shy. :) I am a fashion & fine art photographer, focusing on advertising, beauty art direction, post-production, and retouching. I am 23 years old, living in Moscow. My debut personal exhibition "Victims" was presented in November 2015 and got a lot of reviews. My style contains fantasy, surrealistic elements, sometimes dark and mysterious. I'm shooting fashion and advertising for different brands, editorials for fashion magazines and promo-shoot for popular musicians and celebrities. "Fairytale fashion" is a word which I can fully describe my style. Have you taken any photography courses? The best teacher is your own experience. What person has been your inspiration in life? Who is your hero?

What photography-related tips do you recommend? If you are only start to photograph, do not run to buy an expensive professional camera. It can fight off the desire to understand its settings. Try to find something more reliable to you, the device which you can take with you everywhere, like phone or compact camera. And later you will understand yourself, so it's a time to switch it to more serious equipment. The time, when your projects find its own auditory and clients. And remember, you first 3 years of photography are the worst. What is your most memorable moment on the job? They are just looking to my art projects and if they love it, they will hire me, but if whey think what your art projects are bad - it's not your client. Even if they will hire you, you will never get a good clients. They will always be unhappy. Try to find the people who are on one wave with you. Which understand and respect your ideas. What is your favourite camera?

I'm never creating a hero for myself. Every human which has a success in his/her activities is a hero, in some sense. If you have a volition, wish to be the only one, and wish to be the best - you can do anything. But if you give up - I'm sure, you are just not even tried.

Do you feel like you’ve met your goals and are successful? When you start to think you are successful - take a look around and you will find another goal. So, I'm successful in which way, what I can do what I love and people help me to fulfil my dreams. If you were to do it all over again, what would you change? Everything goes on as usual. If I was not born in the town where I was born, I'd never become a person like I am now. I don't want to be another person, it would scare me. Just never give up. If you really think what your way is a one way - take anything possible to show your soul to the world. You do not immediately receive recognition, but if you will find your own style follow it to the end. The only reliable support in your life bridge - is yourself. How do you stay inspired? Inspiration is not a windy muse, it's a hard job. If I've been lazy for one day, I'll start to think that I've missed something really important. So it's a greater incentive for me. Also I've found a support in nature. In the dense morning fogs, in colourful meadows, in the murky swamps, in majestic mountains and bitter berries.

Most part of my portfolio was made with Canon 600d, but for serious projects I'm using Canon 6d or 5D MK III.

How did you get where you are now in your career? A big sacrifice. To move from my country searching for a good photography academy and to continue being available to go every place in the world where you see that your work can be interesting. Maybe with my work, I don't "Discover America or Mars" at the moment, but every picture made by me has a combination between Think - Believe & Influences. How did your education prepare you for the future? Very important. Modelling is about discipline, expression, acting, culture, to understand what the people behind the camera want of you. And all of this, in different countries, idioms and climates. So it´s important if you have a good platform. I studied Model's direction in my Academy when I did the Master in fashion photography. Do you feel like you’ve met your goals and are successful? Yes, definitely. In this moment of my life and my career, I need the Public in the stadium and the Sponsors, more than goals. So maybe in this moment, it's much better to be the cheerleader more than the man who makes goals. But talking seriously you never got to stop, always playing in this competition with humility.

What advice would you give someone who is young and wants to have such a position as yours one day? Have discipline. Watch everything, the classic, the new, the future, the incredible and the trash. And second, never gift your work, have criterion, and made of you a professional. Who is your inspiration? Maybe I can say my Mother but she doesn't take pictures :) . So the first in my mind are Helmut Newton, Peter Lindbergh, Wim Wenders and Bono. I think they are a good combination. What Photography related things do you recommend? Think in the power of the image, it has to be your Hit. Only one Light. Be able to create good pictures in the technical sense with one flash. What is my Favourite Camera? I love Medium Format cameras. Especially Big Cameras, with good grip and s big number of pixels resolution. What is your most memorable moment as a photographer? I really enjoy working with a Top Model, when she works perfectly and she gives you her all.

“my aspira tion in life is to Grow up in my work a nd enjoy it. To be in peace with myself do ing what i w a nt for live. And finall y be in the Top , not by ambitio n, to have all the necessary resource s to take great pict ures.”

"Modelling is all about being unique, presentable, confident, inspiring, humble, and easy to work with. Having an exotic look is something designers seek out, models who stand out are noticed more."

Tell us about yourself: Why do you want to work as a model? Why are you interested in modelling as a career? Tell us something interesting about you, something inspiring. Don't be shy. :) I'm 22 years old, and for sometime now I have been inspired by many fashion trends and the love for photography. The reason behind why I want to work as a model is to bring about notice to new fashion trends and inspire people to express their views as an artist through modelling. As fashion trends change, I like to incorporate new and old fashion together and bring it into the modelling world so people can view my ideas through my images. Modelling also opens doors to travelling all over the world so models can express their love for seeking adventure. Modelling can help me broaden my perspective on art and imaging; I would like to be a model who can travel internationally and bring home the beautiful images of the world around us for those who don't have the chance to travel. How important is modelling education: Have you attended modelling courses? What related courses or studies have you taken? Modelling education is important. I for one, have not taken any course because I have just begun my modelling career. What I do find important in the modelling education world is learning from others who are more experienced. I have learned plenty of things such as facial emotion, poise, fashion, how to work with photographers, client respect, responsibility, proper casting presentation and plenty more. I do believe I have acquired a vast amount of knowledge from many of the designers, photographers, clients, and models that I have built relationships with over the years. So, although I haven't taken any educational courses on modelling which I do have an interest in doing, I find that my background on modelling has been built from many professionals around me. What do you think makes someone “fit” to be a model? Modelling is all about being unique, presentable, confident, inspiring, humble, and easy to work with. Having an exotic look is something designers seek out, models who stand out are noticed more. With that being said your presentation reflects on your agency and clients who use you for their images. Confidence bleeds through a great photo and at castings, designers and photographers would rather have a confident model who is accepting of his or her uniqueness then those who are shy. Having a humble attitude can make it easier to be open minded when it comes to ideas photographers have for their shoots. Being physically "fit" is not always the goal, all body types are respected in today's society, but a "fit" model in my eyes is one with great character and again uniqueness to their look. What are your goals as a model? How do you see yourself progressing in this field? My goals as a model are to work with high-end designers, travel the world, and inspire people with my images. As a model in the making, I see my self-progressing by learning from those who are more experienced then I am, taking criticism and applying those critiques to my following modelling shoots, Networking, and working with many people within the industry. What do you know about the advertisement industry, advertising psychology and photography? I am just now starting to follow my love for photography as I learn more and more about the industry. Capturing significant photos and bringing them to life can sell. As I am new, I have learned that advertisement is the main way companies, client, designers, etc. can get their fashion and ideas out into the world for many people to see. How do you communicate with people? Are you patient? Are you friendly? How open are you to clients’ requirements? When it comes to my relationship with those in the modelling industry first and for most, it starts with being professional. Many designers may not like someone’s look, and it is always important to accept critique and professionally handle situations. I have created many relationships with models, photographers, and designers all because I know how to respect people. I am a very friendly guy, I love to motivate people to have a good time during nerve racking casting, and I enjoy making new friends. I have realised that patience is a virtue and although things don't always run on time or the way you expect them to I do keep my head up and constantly remind myself that things will always work out. When it comes to clients and their requirements, it is important to me that I stay open minded, accepting to rejection, and know that not everyone is looking for my look in a casting. Do you eat nutritiously? How o$en do you exercise or go to the gym? Like I had mentioned before, all body types are accepted now in today's modelling society. Being physically active and eating well is very important to maintain a healthy lifestyle and good body. Yes, Eating well is part of my daily life style. I know that with good food being ingested in our bodies it reflects on our skin, hair, mental health, energy, etc. These are key characteristics that models need to have to present themselves well at casting and shoots. Going to the gym is a hobby of mine, and I would say I go as o+en as four times a week between work and school to maintain my physique, as well as improve any imperfections I feel need work on.

What is your dream role as a model? My dream goal as a model is to travel the world, be presented in magazines and build boards, so people recognise me and see how I am trying to spread my admiration for fashion and photography. State your availability: Would you travel? Work full-time, part-time? Any hours? I currently have a job with a big cooperation Honey Well. My shi+s are typically 10 pm to 6 is. I prefer to leave my mornings and a+ernoons open for any castings and job offerings. I would love to travel and with the time I’ve spent at my job I do receive personal time off as well as vacation time to spend if I have any requests to travel for modelling. My dream is to travel outside of the US for jobs. So, working around my work schedule would not be a problem for me. My most memorable experience thus far has to be Model Volleyball here in Miami

Hasol performs in various fields including magazine, fitting, fashion show, video, etc. No experience in learning from the professional model academy. Hasol participated in pose class (4 sessions) of photographer Ji Ji^^ Hasol has fit, visual, confidence and good attitude to work which can rebind to clothes or product.

I have not studied and been interested in this field in depth yet. However, she will need to study if this course seems to be an essential part of doing model in the future. Hasol has begun this work since four years of a g e . A t fi r s t , s h e h a d d i ffi c u l t i e s i n communication with photographers, but she is very positive therefore now can harmonise with other people. Further, she tries to communicate with photographers by showing pictures related to the concept and through imagination as much as possible for the concept of the day. Also, Hasol tries to communicate with her fans through Instagram and Facebook although she cannot check every message. Hasol is very healthy that she eats almost every food well and does not gain weight well. This must be the best condition for a model. Hasol does her best for every thing. Further, she does not work as a model everyday. Therefore, when she does not have a schedule, she draws pictures, studies Chinese letter, Korean, mathematics, etc. Among them, she especially likes drawing. She is still young therefore cannot decide her future yet, and we don't know that whether she will be doing model work in the future as well. However, I hope she will do what she likes even if it is a model or the other ones in the future. If she will be doing model in the future! I hope that she grows up as a representative Korean model with oriental feeling! And I wish she would introduce Korea to the other countries a lot. She is still young therefore she seems to be affected by mood easily, but she is excited to do work all day long with pleasing and kind mood. In specific, she has difficulties in taking longtime shooting if the photographer is very strict or with no music in the too silent mood. Also, Hasol expresses chic mood better than other children but has difficulties for cute or precocious poses.

Dierent depending on the brand. Full time some times and part time some times. Get along with her naturally but not by force. She is a child, therefore, it is important to make the playlike and pleasing mood. Don't forget that she is a child. I saw that some mothers go to work with their children scolding even though the children did not like. The children can be very hard about the situation. It is very important not to forget that they are children. The street shooting with the free mood for Seoul Fashion week is the best moment of her. She has a good memory of the moment in which tens of photographers were shooting her. In fact, she likes the moment. Further, she participated in a fashion show for the graduate event of Sangmyung University before. She liked the moment walking on the runway at that time very much. Since then, she became more interested and proud of the model. There has been a Christmas event of Church Hasol maybe participating in the ceremony and a show for kindergarten!! Whenever Hasol is too tired during shooting. Hasol says "Charge~" and I hug her. I say to her that "you're doing well", "I love you" many times. We are mother and daughter as well as best friends in the world. And there is a Hasol's secret that I say to Hasol when she is hard to pose and tired that " show me ten poses "!! " then Hasol poses well. Stamina, may be the biggest obstacle for caring Hasol. I'm very weak, but I have to care two children and care my home, go to shooting and so on. However, my husband helps me well, and Hasol works with pleasure, therefore, I cheer up!! Thank you for a request for an interview. This opportunity will be a good memory for the life of Hasol. I wish you to support and love Hasol~ I hope Hasol will be a world class model and will remember this interview with smile...!

How did you get where you are now in your career? I have always had a passion for Photography but it wasn’t until recently that I embarked on a new adventure following my dreams. Earlier this year I completed my Certificate IV in Photo imaging at the Centre for Creative Photography. Currently, I am working towards my Diploma. For me, I have found studying at CCP has helped me develop and practice the technical skills I need to create the images that I would like to produce. To further cultivate my passion for photography, I have also worked collaboratively with Freelance and Agent models, building my portfolio. My focus and styles that I am drawn to are Fashion, Beauty, Conceptual Portraiture and Dance/Movement. Though I am still in the early stages of my career, I take pleasure in delivering creative and experimental concepts from start to finish. How did your education prepare you for the future? Completing the diploma at CCP, is very important for my career development and the skills that I have learnt through the course is invaluable. To enhance and further enrich my work as a photographer, I feel that it is important to go beyond the classroom. I have worked on a number of personal projects whilst I have been studying as well as participating in photographic workshops. For me, I found true inspiration at the Peter Coulson workshop that I attended last year. The workshop was a turning point for me and has shaped my perspective as a photographer. Do you feel like you’ve met your goals and are successful? I am constantly setting goals, then reviewing them and renewing them. It is a continuous cycle that motivates and inspires me. I feel that by achieving the little goals along my path, that this helps me to achieve the larger more longitudinal goals.

Start my photography journey sooner? I feel that my photography is inspired by my life experiences: the people I have met, by my children and my partner, the places that I have lived-in and visited and the encounters in my everyday life. Ultimately, my work is enhanced by my experiences and I feel that my journey as a photographer is happening at the right time in my life. What advice would you give someone who is young and wants to have such a position as yours one day? I would say go out and do it, don’t give up. And it is never too late to follow your dreams. How do I stay inspired? I am inspired by images that I see in paintings, magazines, online or in the social media. I spend my spare time visiting art galleries and attending dance performances to further explore other people’s perspectives while enhancing and stimulating my own senses and perceptions. What Photography related things do you recommend? One of the things I recommend is to read books about photography. I have quite a few books that refer back to often. But my favourite book is by Harald Mante, ‘The Photograph – Composition and Design.’ What is my Favourite Camera? I currently use the Canon 6D and I love this camera.

"WHEN I GROW UP MY DREAM IS TO BE AN INTERNATIONAL MODEL WHO ALSO SINGS AND DANCES ON BROADWAY WHO ALSO OWNS A PET SHOP WITH LOTS OF FURRY ANIMALS."

Tell us about yourself: Why do you want to work as a model? Why are you interested in modelling as a career? I have been working as a professional child model since I was 6 months old. I work internationally but mainly in Japan and Asia. I love fashion, I love modeling, that's why I do it. When I grow up my dream is to be an international model that also sings and dances on Broadway who also owns a pet shop with lots of furry animals. How important is modelling education: Have you attended modelling courses? What related courses or studies have you taken? Though I've never attended modeling courses, I study classic ballet to help me learn posture and grow up having beautiful body proportions (and I love wearing a tutu). What do you think makes someone “fit to be a model? I think as long as the person loves modeling and fashion and aren't shy in front of the camera, anybody can be a model. To be a model, I think you need to be able to transform yourself, have multiple faces to suit the fashion and pictures demanded of you. What are your goals as a model? How do you see yourself progressing in this field? I want to be internationally renowned and work with fashion designers and photographers from all around the world. What do you know about the advertisement industry, advertising psychology and photography? I have noticed that the demands and styles are very different from country to country. North American photographers will often ask of me a more cool style while the Japanese photographers and clients want cute and happy. How do you communicate with people? Are you patient? Are you friendly? How open are you to clients’ requirements? I'm never shy in front of the camera but sometimes shy when I first meet people. I'm friendly, happy and active. I think I'm very patient (except when I'm hungry). As a child model I have never been asked to do pictures that made me feel uncomfortable so I have never refused client requirements.

Do you eat nutritiously? How often do you exercise or go to the gym? Ainsley living in Japan, meals are naturally healthy. Lots of fish and vegetables in the diet. Even school meals are supervised by nutritionists for the best and proper meals according to age. I do have junky snacks once in a while though. I exercise a lot. I learn ballet once a week, I go to soccer club 2 hours a week and am in the school basketball team. What is your dream role as a model? To be on the cover of every famous magazines all over the world. Do you have any limitations? How do you define your boundaries when choosing to accept a modelling request? I'm only 8 so my mom and agents do that for me. I don't really know. I think I would say no to pictures with scary makeup like zombie makeup because that would make me scared and give me nightmares. State your availability: Would you travel? Work full-time, part time? Any hours? I am available for traveling but not permanently moving to a foreign country. I have done a lot of different photoshoots and fashion shows but I think one that I remember most was how fun my audition at the Universal Studios Japan.

What fascinates you about modelling? I always wanted to be an international fashion model. That was a dream for me. So one day a man walked up to me and asked me if I wanted to join Elite Model Look competition , and I said sure! So I was in the competition and I made it all the way to the finals but I didn't win. Since that day I've been really motivated and inspired and I try so hard to be an international model, so I hope I reach that goal one day. How important is modelling education: Have you attended modelling courses? What related courses or studies have you taken? No haven't taken any courses. What do you think makes someone “fit to be a model? I think to be a model you need a nice body and a nice face and you need to be long. What are your goals as a model? How do you see yourself progressing in this field? My goal is to be a full time international model. How do you communicate with people? Are you patient? Are you friendly? How open are you to clients’ requirements? I'm friendly to everyone and i'm very open. Do you eat nutritiously? How often do you exercise or go to the gym? I go 4-5 times a week to the gym. What is your dream role as a model? Becoming a international fashion model Do you have any limitations? How do you define your boundaries when choosing to accept a modelling request? I like to work with clothes more then boxer shorts. State your availability: Would you travel? Work full-time, part time? Any hours? I would travel and work full time.

Tell us about yourself and your (son/daughter). How did he/she get her interest in modelling and as a parent, how did you talk to her/him? My name is Els; I am a mother of 3 stunning boys. When my eldest son was a one-year-old lot of people said that I should contact a model agent for him ad he was always so cute on pics (I think every mum thinks that about their kids :-) ) But I did, and he had several shoots. When I was pregnant again, I quit with the modelling. When my second son was about seven years old, he saw the work of his older brother and said "mam, I want that too", so we went again to the agent, and they wanted him but also Bram (he was about five years). Bram had a look when the photographer of the agent was taking pics of his brother, and he said.... Yes, that's cool, I can do that :-) So that's how all began.

How important is modelling education: Has he/she attended modelling courses? What related courses or studies has he/she taken? For us, modeling education is not important. I think when he likes to do it and has fun, its okay for me, but no pressure. Wen he gets older and wants to do some modelling education, of course, I will support him.

What do you think makes someone “fit to be a model? Of course, you have to be physical fit but its not necessary to have a six pack, I think its much more important that your child has patience as he/she must wait a lot most of the times. What do you know about the advertisement industry, advertising psychology, and photography? About the ad industry and advertising psychology, I do not know very much. Photography.... well during the years I have seen of course lots of different styles, and of course I see lots of differences. Not only because of the budget but also not every photographer can make great pictures of kids. Also, the photographer has to be patient and the more they want, the less they get :-)

How do you communicate with people? Are you patient? A r e you friendl y? How open ar e you t o clients ’ requirements? I think I am open minded and social person. I am not very patient according to mu husband :-) But I am friendly and try to raise my children also to be a kind, social and friendly person Does he/she eat nutritiously? How do you balance his/her studies and modelling career? We eat very healthily at home because we are all sports people, so we want to stay fit. Of course, the kids also eat now and then candy, chips or cookies, but not too much. All the kids go to school; sometimes Bram needs to go home a little early for a shoot and when he needs a day off I can contact the Headmaster, and he will check if it is possible as long as he is doing well at school

What is his/her dream role as a model? What do you aspire for him/her? He is very young and does not really have any dreams as a model, he is just having fun :-) For me as a mom, I hope he will do this work for a long time as I think he is very talented but as I said before, only when he enjoys doing modelling as that is the most important thing !

Does he/she have any limitations? How do you define her boundaries when choosing to accept a modelling request? Yes he has, he does not want to model underwear and maybe with some animals. I always ask him first of he likes to make the request before I say yes to the agent.

State his/her availability: Would you travel? Work full-time, part-time? Any hours? My limitation is only that I don't want him to model naked and I also c hec k if the compensation is correct for the job.

State his/her availability: Would you travel? Work full-time, part-time? Any hours? Yes we will travel for a job (if compensated of course) and no he can not work full-time as he is a student

As a parent, what pieces of advice could you give to the parents reading this?

I would like to say to all parents, please let your child be a child and when he/she does not like it anymore, stop modelling, your child needs to have fun during the shoots :-)

For the young model: Tell us your most memorable experience in modelling so far? TV Commercial NIK&NIK fashion, that was awesome

Pierpaolo Perri

What is your aspiration in life? I'd like to become a fashion photographer and travel the world. We all make mistakes we wish we could take back. Tell me about a time you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague. I really can't tell. At the moment I didn't have any problems with any colleague. When you’re working with a large number of customers, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. How do you go about prioritising your customers’ needs? I work alone from the shoot to the edit. I usually don't overload myself as I want to be consistent (or improve) with the quality of my work. Tell me about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities. I have to do every day and schedule everything because I have two sons and I enjoy spend a lot of time with them. Give me an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work. I don't like to persuade people. When I am "the leader" in work I tend to plan everything as accurate that I could and to assign specific task, so there is no latitude for arguing. Tell me about your proudest professional accomplishment. I have many of this moment during the year because is a very special thing when a bride is super happy with her wedding album. Give me an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it? I worked for an opening of a fashion store, quite far away from home, and I brought with me only one flash and one lens. When I arrived the day before the opening the customer told me that I should have shot some pictures of models for their social media, but I didn't have any equipment, so I used the flash wirelessly with no radio trigger and things that I found in the store as my modifiers: clothes, polystyrene, etc. What was your most challenging encounter? How did you deal with it? I faced death with an angry bride that was waiting for me at the entrance of the church. I am still alive. What advice could you give to the people who are reading this? I enjoy photography. I enjoy work and meet new people. I'd like to work in new places.

Tell us something interesting about you, something inspiring. Don't be shy. :)
At what age did you start becoming fascinated with fashion? I was 14-15. How did you prepare for a career in styling? Since childhood, I was sewing and knitting for dolls, then I sewed for herself on the magazine Burda, sketching, watching shows and magazines. How do you stay updated on the current trends? I think in today's world is difficult not to be aware of trends thanks to the Internet, magazines, advertising, people on the street, everywhere we see trends. How important is Fashion Week for you?
Fashion Week is very inspiring when you see the show, you know that not in vain chose this profession, and you want to be part of the fashion world. But the fashion week is not the most important thing for the designer, most importantly, the desire to tell the world something. What is your dream job? I dream about the interesting, creative work with great Lyudmi. Mine would like to have their brand of clothing, where I would have an art director. What are your plans for the future? Where do you see yourself taking your styling career? I have no firm plans, but I would be interested to work in a fashion magazine, or I could be a fashion illustrator because I always liked to draw. Name the top three things in your styling kit that are must-haves? Scissors, needle, thread. Tell us your most unforgettable experience as a stylist? The most interesting at the moment is when I took part in the contest of young designers with a children's collection and took the 3rd place. Who is your all-time favourite designer?

How did you get where you are now in your career? I didn't always know that I wanted to be a fashion photographer. It happened somehow magically after funny coincidences at the age of 18. At first it was an unknown journey that I was feeling really scared and unsure and then after some years I found some photos of my sister and myself at the age of 9 (my sister was 6 ) and I was talking fashion photos of her. She was pretending to be a model and I was the photographer. There, I completely realised that i was a photographer since the beginning of my life!! Now I am confident and in peace that I found a way to express my feelings through art ! My inspiration was always my parents. My father is a director and my mother used to make amazing paintings. I think the colours and the contrast of my photos are inspired by painting generally. How did your education prepare you for the future? To be the best fashion photographer you can be you have to know everything about modelling! I study constantly about modelling, poses, expressions and psychology. Also I always try to get to know every model that I work with. I always ask about their feelings and their experiences. Do you feel like you’ve met your goals and are successful? You have to try every day to be better than the previous day. You never stop of chasing your dreams and aspirations. What advice would you give someone who is young and wants to have such a position as yours one day? The only thing I can say now is that you must never be afraid to chase your dreams, never be afraid to make mistakes. In art everything is allowed. How do I stay inspired? Throughout life, books, movies and sometimes competition! Competitions can always wake you up hard!! What Photography related things do you recommend? Don't just push the button. Allow your body and spirit to feel everything before the click. The photo that you will take somehow is your own personal child. Respect your clicks, think first, shoot later. Photoshop is only for final touches. What is my Favourite Camera? Worked with Nikon - played with Lomography Diana. What is your most memorable moment as a photographer? We had a photoshoot and we were on the road, just driving with a mini fridge in the car with cold beverages and water.. we were so enthusiastic for the photoshoot and then i had a flat tyre ! :-)
