Nyck Silverstein nss815@gmail.com @Nyck.Sylver http://www.das-miami.com/portfolio/men-mainboard/men/1311255/nyck-silverstein Country United States State / Region Miami Beach Model ABOUT I was born in Beverly, MA and grew up in North Carolina where I studied marketing at East Carolina University. Once I graduated, as most people are unsure of the next step in life, I had the opportunity to move to NYC to begin my modelling career. I was in NYC for a year and came back to NC to work within my degree in Business Marketing at NC State University. Shortly within this career, I became bored and soon decided to sign with an NC agency who then helped me be scouted to Miami Beach. The season began in January and shortly after as a supplemental income; I started managing a gay bar (what an experience that was!). After a year in Miami, I then flew off to Asia for eight months with multiple different agencies (and what an experience that also was!!). Once I got back to Miami, I started working again in Marketing with two different companies. Once again, the whole 9-5 deal wasn't suited for me, so I began training at Barry's Bootcamp as a Group Fitness Instructor. Now, I am currently taking the summer off to travel and see the world :) Our readers would love to get to know you more Nyck. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer? Growing up as an only child, I grew up very different than most of my friends. I consider myself a Southern Gentlemen with a Yankee's Attitude. As an adolescent, I was a late bloomer. Playing basketball was my passion, but also a heartbreaker being the smallest guy on the team. Learning my strengths and weaknesses at an early age helped me become the independent and driven person I am today. Nyck, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model? I love learning about people's stories. Being well travelled at 29 has been an incredibly humbling experience. Learning about people outside of the US and their stories has been one of the most motivational experiences I have ever encountered. I've always said, "never judge a book by its cover." This has come into play and proven its truth more than once in my life. Take the time to listen to people. Everyone has a story to tell. Who is your inspiration in life Nyck? How do you stay inspired as Model? My mom has always inspired me. Divorced when I was 4, she raised me as a single mom for the majority of my life. Don't get me wrong, I love my dad, but my mom was always there more so. We all make mistakes Nyck; we wish we could take back. What was the error you made in the past that you want to you can bring back? Not giving myself more credit when credit was due. Nyck, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients? Enjoyable and Humorous. I have seen so many models be rude to clients that are paying them and consequently, they lose the client and lose the reputation that is necessary for a prosperous career. Please tell us Nyck, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? Ha, it's not easy. The family is always the priority. Work comes second, and then you can bring in the social life of friends. When I was in my early 20's, work came first as well as myself. Being in a new career as a model right out of college, I had to. As my 20's come to a close, I am now more focused on what is best for my family. Nyck, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. When I was in China, I had a model roommate that was from the US and was utterly disrespectful and arrogant to the international models. I was considered the "dad" of the group. Not based on "age," but based on maturity. I was able to explain why he wasn't working and why people did not want to be around him. For some reason, when people become insecure, an ego appears that is not relevant to who they are. He began to see that and humbled himself down to ground level. Nyck, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. I believe as models, male or female, you are pushed to limits people outside of this industry would not be. You have to make decisions based on what you feel is right and what is right for your career. The "Me2" movement includes males as well, and I have been in many situations where I had to make the decision with clients, photographers and agents that could have hurt my career, but I knew that I would feel better about myself if I said "no." Nyck, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or challenging about it? I was helping the first photographer I ever worked with scout and mentor young models. It was great to give them the bright outlook on the industry they wanted to dive headfirst into and also the ugly side of the industry. What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?* * Do your research. Know that you will get more No's then Jobs. Be Patient. Learn Every day. Male Models have it harder than Female Models. Don't subject yourself. Be true to yourself and your vision and good things will come your way. Ernest. Tell us ABOUT yourself.

I am a self-taught portrait and fashion photographer; inspired by Ann Leibowitz, Lindsay Adler, Clay Blackmore, Richard Avedon, Scott Robert Lim, Elliot Erwitt and Notably Rembrandt.

I worked with a celebrity as a stills photographer on a short documentary that may be presented to the 'Academy of motion pictures'. Volunteer photographer for 2 Lions club, an in-house photographer for 'China Airlines Workers Association'.

I love to create glamorous images with an emphasis on the model.

Our readers would love to get to know you more Ernest. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you oer?

I love portraiture photography and find that each time I do a shoot, I learn something new and feel very fortunate to meet beautiful people to photograph. Elliott Erwitt surmised it best to my approach for photography; "The whole point of taking pictures is, so that doesn't have to explain in words". I shoot headshots, portraits, fashion, high school, engagement and commercial campaign.

Ernest, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer?

A great day is when I have a person to photograph! 4 years ago, I bought a Canon 7D for my European Cruise; my photos were awful, and I decided to become a photographer and take better pictures of my wife and make her happy.

Who is your inspiration in life Ernest? How do you stay inspired as Photographer?

I hope to create great images that my clients will love. I loved stories of epic failures from some great photographers when they had a special commission; It's a great lesson to move forward and learn from mistakes.

We all make mistakes Ernest; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back?

I should have taken photography years ago.

ernest, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients?

I work very hard to make the shots and make you happy that your day was well spent.

Please tell us, Ernest, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family?

I am very focused on my photography assignments. I have a network of photographers that I work with and exchange ideas. Without my dear wife's encouragement, help and support it would be impossible for me to become a photographer.

ernest, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.

My recent work for Xandra Myriam-I was given full Artistic control, location, director and stills.

Ernest, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer.

2 Campaigns for Xandra Myriam

Produced 2 "1 sheet poster" for a Film Documentary

Ernest, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or challenging about it?

The Film documentary shoot had to be very imaginative and out of the box. The subject was dark, seductive and risquĂŠ, where the lighting had to be very limited and controlled.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?*

Saffron, Whyton saffron.whyton@gmail.com @stylebysaffron_ http://saffronwhytonmodel.com Country United Kingdom State / Region Hampshire Model ABOUT I am still studying and hope to go on to college to pursue Science and Psychology to later working in BioTech. I am passionate about my modelling and also music. They both provide a medium for the expression of myself, whether in vocal performance or an image captured in the blink of an eye. I look for a future when harmony replaces hatred and the powers of the world provide a safe place for our future children to grow, develop and thrive. Our readers would love to get to know you more Saffron. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer? I'm young, but with a mature outlook and experienced head, I've fought past the doubters and love to prove people wrong when they assume because of age you "can't" do what they ask. Saffron, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model? My passion is to have fun in whatever I do, I want to have success as a model, but that may just be meeting and working with amazing people in wonderful locations. I got into modelling after being asked to wear some clothes in a local shop, they were doing some new displays and wanted some photos for head office, I happened to be there and really enjoyed seeing my pictures on their social media, I waited a couple of years though before getting into proper modelling as I wanted to be able to wear adult clothes. Who is your inspiration in life Saffron? How do you stay inspired as Model? Marilyn Monroe is my inspiration, I love her look and her whole life which was tragically cut short, I would love to g back in time and meet her. I stay inspired by looking at those around me, as a model you are rarely alone and working with a great team inspires me to strive for the amazing result. We all make mistakes Saffron; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back? As a four year old I fell off a statue onto paving, really wish I could redo that day. Saffron, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients? I am there for them, it's their design, their brand and I will work with them to achieve the best results for them and also for my brand. Please tell us, Saffron, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? Sometimes it's tough, I love to work it gives me such a buzz, but friends and family are so important, so I try to ensure I retain equal time for each. If I commit to something for someone I try to do it to my best ability. Saffron, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work. I'm an easy going type, many of the photographers I work with will support this, I find if i am not comfortable with something that I can discuss it and put across my view point in a logical way. When we can be honest with each other, we can typically come to an agreeable outcome. Saffron, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. Probably when I travelled to Vegas for a workshop week, I was the youngest and least experienced on the trip, but I listened and followed direction and got awarded the top model for the group by the team running the workshop. My mum was with me she was so proud. Saffron, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it? Every time I model I find new ways to creative, on my most recent shoot working with a photographer I know well I was able to make location suggestions and work with him around different looks that produced some gorgeous results. What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?* * you have to be positive; even when you feel out of sorts, you can't hide it from the camera so be ready to smile with your eyes.

Now for the best part Saffron! Please upload 5-10 photos so we can get to see your work. Photo Credits: Photographer: John English @p_h_o_l_i_o

Equality is essential to me. Positivity is critical to me. Creating an experience that makes one feel fulfilled is very important to me. I love to collaborate with other creatives to achieve greater things. I have an extensive modelling background; I taught deportment, etiquette, grooming, make-up etc., in the industry for many years at leading Melbourne Modelling Schools. I owed my Model/Promotional Agency in the early 90's. Important to me was guiding many young people to become a better version of themselves, teaching them the ins & outs of the industry, working with them guiding them with how to behave as professionals, always present themselves as experienced, knowledgeable individuals. I hope that I inspired many to never give up on their dreams, to believe that anything is achievable with the input of hard work, respect, humbleness and positivity. My inspiration to take my adoration of fashion photography a little further comes from my beautiful daughter whom herself is venturing into the modelling world being driven by her love of fashion and passion for performing. She is an incredible dancer, a risk taker, a brave, strong woman; she makes me want to work harder at achieving another life goal of my own...Photography. Our readers would love to get to know you more Louise. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer? Each photo is entirely my creation. I love to style and create the feeling that is required for the look and feel; it means that I work closely with the models on all levels, I even touch up makeup and hair. Veroniqué Salagean info@vsturbans.com @vsturbans http://vsturbans.com Turban Designer Country United Kingdom State / Region London ABOUT I studied fashion design at Central Saint Martins for an year and as I always wanted to become a creator and implement my style into something luxurious that people can wear it, I got distracted by turbans. In 2014 I started making turbans and in 2015 established my brand VS Turbans that specialises in bespoke luxury turbans. I tremendously love draping; it's when I make love with the fabric and give birth to the vsturban. All stages of making it takes minimum 8 hours, and I have the patience to sew the process. The business is run by my decisions as well the suggestions that are given to my clients in deciding a unique requirement turban. Each Turban is designed and crafted with the client's wishes at its core – incorporating any material, and colour scheme and any detailing, all combining to create an exclusive and visually breath-taking style statement to treasure. I get inspired by images that translate sophistication and the unexplainable placed together. My collection offers luxury turbans that range from simple drapes to the most extravagant, styles that are beaded in mirror crystals or an effortless drape in raffia or leather. I have mastered endless ways to drape a turban envisioning first obsessively for two days than designing each headdress that gets formed from silence, feelings and shapes to define the four words provided by my client. Our readers would love to get to know you more Veroniqué. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer? Uniqueness I define it by my style. Is how I like things to be, unexpected extravagant and my work is an extreme wearable beauty. On making the vsturban, I take the most excellent attributes from the deepest bottom of my heart and add a drop of my aura as for anyone that wear my work to feel special, unique and stand out in a crowd. Wearing my job, I have experienced doors get opened and carpets laid down. Veroniqué, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Designer? My aspiration in life is to be recognised, loved and remembered by people - it is my definition of success. I started as Designer because I wanted to create something so unique that people can wear it and give them the feeling of it. As well is all that I can show to people - my world translated into my work. Who is your inspiration in life Veroniqué? How do you stay inspired as Designer? I do not inspire anyone but from within I where is silence and feelings or music. When I envision which it happens obsessively, somehow I see shapes that form into a turban from how I look at the four words to define a future turban or collection. We all make mistakes Veroniqué; we wish we could take back. What was the error you made in the past that you want to you can bring back? Allowing people that possibly were great connectors to where I got today. I have never walked with the crowd or take anyone on board. Veroniqué, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients? Honest, On time, Greatly Serving and Generous. Please tell us Veroniqué, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? My work is in the very first place. I do not have a social life as well haven't got good friends for very long time-. Moreover, my family is on WhatsApp chats. My career preparations have taken all the time. Veroniqué, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. I am very clear from the beginning to my VS Family/ employees. However the results were marvellous, and she was one of the best dressed at the events, Sometimes we provide our best in the most challenging situations. I stay inspired by reading motivational stories who started out of nothing and made it big. We all make mistakes Shiva, we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back? Try not to analyse everything till the end before even I start something. There are always problems, but I have to solve it on your journey. Also, never ever compare myself to other people, it's good to take advice but at the end you have to see what works best for you. Some paths may work well for other people which may not work for you or vice versa. You have to get out there make mistakes and learn from your mistakes. Shiva ,How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients? I try to be professional and make my clients happy and giving them good customer service. If there is any problem, I try to solve the problem. Please tell us Shiva, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? Starting a company can be really hard at the beginning. I had to spend most of my time on startup and growing my business, but now I try to prioritise things and do the things which needs to be done first. I used to work all the time (which I still do sometimes) but I try my best to also allocate time for myself to relax and my social life. Shiva, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work. For example, recently, I had discussion with someone at work about pricing my garments, but when I told him that I allocated the prices according to the research I have done and what is norm in the market, he agreed with me. Shiva please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Fashion Label. When I found the very first shop to stock my garments, after all the rejection I had before that. Shiva, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it? You have to be creative to start a fashion label and create garments. It's always exciting to come up with new designs and actually make it work and see the final products, but also sometimes it can be difficult, and there can be a lot of problems on the way for creating something. things cannot go smoothly on your way and you have to find the best solution for your problems. What advice would you give to the people who wants to be successful as a Fashion Label?* * Don't overthink too much, start their journey and solve the problems on their way, also never ever compare themselves with other people. Some paths can work out for someone, but not for them and vice versa. Also, don't afraid of mistakes, you have to get out there and make mistakes and learn from them, and finally be strong and keep your self-motivated and never give up, starting a fashion label at the beginning can be really hard. Dan Masciarelli Creative Director

Dan Masciarelli dan@mascfilms.com danmasc Country United States State / Region California Creative Director ABOUT I approach photography as a storyteller; I want to create a dynamic image that engages someone by ‘setting a scene’ and suggests at a larger narrative that exists beyond the frame. I come from a background in filmmaking, so there tends to be a cinematic aesthetic to my pictures; my best friends are mood, atmosphere and attitude. When I’m composing a photo, those components are usually at the top of my mind. I’m a big fan of movie posters for that same reason; there is curated attention to detail. Everything existing within the f rame is considered; background, expression of the talent, their position in the frame; use of light, colour, framing perspective all contribute to conveying the experience of watching that movie. Whether it’s an image jam-packed with a frenzy of elements, or it’s a dramatically simple composition showcased its use of negative space, everything you see is considered and deliberate. I studied film at Drexel University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree actually, instead of a BA. I’ve always considered fitting actually because I’m adept at being both a left brain and right brain thinker; coming up with wild visual ideas, then develop a strategy to pull off how to capture the shot. I’ve been working in Los Angeles for over ten years now. I started on set in the camera department on feature films. Then, I gravitated toward design-based entertainment and advertising for commercials, television and movies. A few notable examples would be producing The Avengers main titles for Marvel Studios, Tosh.0 for Comedy Central, and I’m just finishing up an editorial project with FX Network, launching their new series Mayans MC. So far this year, my photography has centred around designinspired ads, and campaigns for brands and clients like Free Bird The Label, The Guise Eyewear, GUNAS New York, KQ Magazine, The FOOD HEALS Podcast, Fox Spor ts & FX Network. RUBY

FELDMAN

Ruby Feldman rubysmusings@gmail.com @rubysmusings http://www.rubysmusings.com Country United States State / Region California ABOUT I consider myself a Retro housewife in a modern world, and as an influencer, I am a mature vintage/retro model, promoting items that appeal to that culture. I have been in local ad campaigns for a shopping mall, published in a local magazine as well as Marjorie Magazine geared towards the vintage-minded community. I have been in local online advertisements and on billboards locally. I have been interviewed and will be included in an online documentary for inclusivity in the pinup community, and the upcoming companion book. I have a YouTube channel and Instagram account that is growing on a regular basis. The companies I have worked for/with are all small independent companies tho I did finish up doing promotions for MVMT.com. Ruby Feldman specialises in Retro and Vintage inspired product promotion

Our readers would love to get to know you more Ruby. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer? As stated in the previous question, I am of mature age and only recently, in the last two years began modelling for vintage and retro brands and photographers, but it has been a steady rise over that time. I consider myself a Retro housewife in a modern world, representing a simpler, more elegantly chic time in history for fashion, but without all the repressive thoughts and behaviours of the eras, I favour. I love supporting women in business, especially those with small businesses, helping to get them exposure and sales. I also love showing other women my age that if they have a passion or are drawn towards a particular style, age shouldn't matter. I am someone with a chronic health condition, and I try to inspire others not to let such things bench them from life and life's passions. All in all, I try to support, inspire and spread kindness as well. Ruby, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as an Influencer? My passions and aspirations, which I touched on above, are to see myself grow as an influencer within the retro/vintage culture, but also within the 50 plus age group. I would love to bring in an income as opposed to just product. I began as a blogger 6, nearly seven years ago and in that role began representing local as well as online businesses, both for retro brands and not. I also helped review and promote authors of self-help / inspirational books. I retired my blog and began doing Instagram and then YouTube to the latter is a supplemental platform to I.G. Who is your inspiration in life Ruby? How do you stay inspired as Influencer? In life, I am inspired by many women who are part of the Advanced Style movement, Women who in their middle age and beyond have created a new career in social media as models and influencers and are seeing success beyond expectations. I am also inspired by all the strong women in the retro/vintage/pinup community, both younger and older than myself. I stay inspired by my fans /followers who encourage me and cheer me on as well as telling me that I inspire them. We all make mistakes Ruby; we wish we could take back. What was the error you made in the past that you want to you can bring back? I feel there are so many...no one is perfect. I know I could have been a better mom, wife, daughter and friend over my years ..but I do not let my past mistakes do more than inspire me always to strive to do better...be better. Ruby, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients? I feel I am outgoing, professional and go over and beyond as much as I am capable. Please tell us, Ruby, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? Family and self-care are always first. I try to be a good and supportive friend and to not let anything I do in social media come first, but in the sted compliment it and keep me fulfilled. I don't make the work slide or fall behind, but it indeed is not put above what's truly important. Ruby, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. As I don't work outside of the home currently, I don't have an answer that refers to now. In the past, working in management in the spa industry it was by remaining calm, and staying my side and views professionally and planting certain seeds and watching them grow with encouraging words and actions. Ruby, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as an Influencer. My proudest moment was when I was given the trust to promote and take over the accounts for Pinup The Movie thru social media. Secondary I was thrilled to be on a local billboard supporting our local shopping centre. That being said, I am proud each time I can represent a client, and they are happy with my work. Ruby, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or challenging about it? I feel that's what's amazing about being an influencer on social media, it's always about being creative, and it's still exciting to be in the planning and execution of the promotion. What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as an Influencer?* * Be true to yourself ! Don't give up or in and power thru stumbling blocks, there is always a new path to follow ...slow and steady growth is still growth. Photo Credits: Robert Feldman

Uriah Johnson

Uriah Johnson uriahjohnson2017@gmail.com @Iamkinguriah https://www.instagram.com/iamkinguriah/ Country United States State / Region CA Model ABOUT Before I got into acting, comedy, and modeling, My whole life for about 9 years was only about basketball, but one day I woke up and lost all my passion for basketball, so then I wanted to try something I always wanted to do since I was a kid, which was acting and it led me to find my other talents in comedy and modeling. I love Acting because I can become a new person and use that person/character circumstances to encourage and inspire people just like the character to change their lives or find a way out their current situation. With comedy, I love seeing teeth and making people around the world laugh. I want to see people have a great time, grow closer and talk about funny things in life. Last but not least as a model I love to showcase what I’m blessed with, in regards to my personality and my look overall but mainly I want to use my modelling for people to be comfortable in their skin and show confidence in themselves no matter what.

Our readers would love to get to know you more Uriah. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer? Well first I want to start off and say that not just me but everybody in this world is unique and special in one way or multiple ways but we all have this gift inside of us that we can choose to unwrap and develop and use to our advantage to inspire and change the world or we can just keep it wrapped up and assume we didn’t get anything special in it. What makes me unique is the fact I’ll never give up, and I’m willing to get out my comfort zone so that I can get what is already mine in this world and that all the dreams and visions I ever saw myself doing, I can achieve. I feel everybody has that superstar inside of them; it’s just all about bringing that inner you to the outside you and sharing that inner you with the world, because I’m weird, goofy, funny, crazy, smart, outgoing, humble, and loving all in one. For my brand I feel like I can bring that sexy, crisp, smooth, and funny outlook to the world because I love people, I love making people feel happy when I’m around because that ultimately makes me feel like I’m fulfilling a purpose.

Uriah, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model? My passions in life are Acting, Comedy, and Modeling. I started modelling by just posting a modelling picture on my Instagram for the first time, and I got a message from @modelcitizenmag and Hailey who is a submission officer for them gave me a link and told me to submit to modelcitizenmag.com and here I am.

Who is your inspiration in life Uriah? How do you keep inspired? My inspiration in life is God giving me a purpose to live and fulfil something more significant than I can ever imagine. Also, my 2 kids, my family, and all the people in the world l can inspire. I keep inspired by always thinking positive and taking this journey one day at a time, never giving up, and knowing as long as I don’t give up, no matter what, I will reach my destination.

We all make mistakes Uriah; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague? I would say only wear what you're comfortable in because you have to realize that the audience is seeing you in your fashion and your fashion tells a story whether it’s from where you come from, how your feeling at the moment, or how much confidence you have in yourself but the most important thing is just being comfortable with who you are inside and out.

Uriah, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs? I would prioritise the photoshoots based on their times that are scheduled. I’ll schedule the quicker shoots later so that I can knock out the long photo shoots earlier. Please tell us, Uriah, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Model? I had to be strategic by knowing when to take pictures, focus on my acting and comedy. When I’m on set as an actor, I will write whatever funny jokes came to my mind and then I’ll schedule times to see my photographer after my set.

Uriah, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. I use to be a teachers aide, so I was able to persuade students that a number line is more comfortable to count on rather than using their fingers because with their fingers they can lose track of their count but on the number line they won’t lose track because the number is there right in front of them the whole time.

Uriah, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why? My proudest accomplishment as a model is filling out this submission, because I only posted one picture, and I got noticed this early, and to say now I have a feature in a magazine is just incredible to me and I also just want to say thanks to Hailey, the submission officer who discovered me for this fantastic opportunity, I’m truly grateful and humbled beyond words.

Uriah, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or challenging about it? Work is always created to me because I can get my vision from my head that usually only I can see and bring to life and that is just so amazing to me, but the tricky part for me would be that I’ll tend to overthink my creativity instead of sometimes just being who I am, which is a creator.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model? I would say know your brand, know your look, and always be open-minded to new looks.

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for? I am looking for collaboration with other fashion talents, but mostly I want to be a brand ambassador/ Fashion Model for some of the top clothing brands in the world, I would love to have a partnership with the top brands so that I can not only wear the clothing I love but also help the top brands reach a new level in the fashion industry. I would say only where what you're comfortable in because you have to realise that the audience is seeing you in your fashion and your fashion tells a story whether it’s from where you come from or what you feel most comfortable into who you are as a person inside and out. Uriah, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs? I would prioritise the photoshoots based on their times that are scheduled, or I’ll schedule the quicker shoots later so that I can knock out the long photo shoots earlier. Please tell us, Uriah, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Model? I had to be strategic by knowing when to take pictures and also focus on my acting and comedy so while I’m on set as an actor, I would usually right whatever funny jokes that come to me, and then I’ll schedule times to see my photographer after my acting set Uriah, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. I use to be a teachers aide, so I was able to persuade one of my students that a number line is more comfortable to count than using his fingers because with his fingers he loses track, but on the number line, he won’t lose track because the number is there in front of him. Uriah, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why? My proudest accomplishment as a model is filling this submission out right now because I only posted one pic and I got noticed this early, and now I may potentially have a feature is just incredible to me, and I want to say thanks Hailey to the submission officer who discovered me for this fantastic opportunity, I’m truly grateful and humbled beyond words Uriah, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or challenging about it? Work is always created to me because I can get my vision from my head that usually only I can see and bring it to life and that is amazing to me, but the problematic part to that would be that I’ll tend to overthink my creativity instead of sometimes just being merely creative will do What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?* * I would say know your brand, know your look, and always be open-minded to new looks Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for? I am looking for collaboration with other fashion talents, but mostly I want to be a brand ambassador for some of the biggest clothing brands in the world, I would love to have a partnership with top brands so that I can not only wear the clothing I love but also so I can help those top brands reach a new level as well, my dream is to basically be a fashion model Or brand ambassador so that It can be a win/win situation for me an stop clothing brands.

I enjoy writing about my experiences with individual lifestyles and changes while keeping veganism close to my heart. I offer product reviews, reading recommendations, and modelling/acting through my online blog and social media. Laura, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as an Influencer? I am passionate about animals and first got involved in animal rights activism within my local community. I am continually learning from my peers about new/helpful strategies and support methods that can help improve lives. I enjoy helping, and I couldn't imagine not trying to. Who is your inspiration in life Laura? How do you stay inspired as Influencer? My peers. I stay inspired by surrounding myself with people whom I admire and whom I share universal ethics/values. People who try their best to keep an open mind and have a decisive/mindful encounter with others. Most importantly, people who like to continue growing and improving. We all make mistakes Laura; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back? Not having patience. I did not appreciate patience as much as I do now. Love is essential to me. When I am feeling impatient, no matter what the reasoning, I often find myself remembering loving is patient. I do not belong to a particular religion. However, I appreciate this reminder from 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy; it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others; it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hope, always perseveres. Laura, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients? Professional, responsible, loyal, takes direction well, friendly. Please tell us, Laura, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? Communication has shown helpfulness. Laura, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. Why bother, going vegan, saving animals, protesting? If it could "save the world", would there even be enough time? Feasible? Etc. Although there are scientific research and facts to support veganism, one of the most important and memorable reasons for me is "There comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe nor politic, nor popular. however, he must take it because conscience tells him it is right." - M.L. King Laura, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as an Influencer. Meeting amazing individuals and inspiring others to do what they love doing healthily and positively. Noura El Ghoul

Noura El Ghoul nouraelghoul@mail.usf.edu @nouraelghoul Country United States State / Region Florida Model ABOUT Modelling has always been a passion of mine, and I believe to have the looks to be a successful model. I'm a very professional person, and I think modelling can open doors to many other great opportunities. I am new to this industry, but I'm very used to the camera and used to being photographed. Furthermore, I am willing to travel and have a pretty flexible schedule. I speak three languages very fluently (french, arabic and english). As a child, I was part of three commercials (for hair, food and clothes) and some of my talents include acting and dancing. I’ve taken some acting classes before and had a role in three plays, and I hope to be part of a movie one day. I’m also a very adventurous person; I love travelling as I’ve visited many places around the globe and I’ve also practised many sports growing up and went skydiving last year. Moreover, I’m a very creative person and I love styling clothes and creating different outfit looks with clothing pieces I have. I’m currently living in Florida studying biology at the USF while trying to model as a part time job. Our readers would love to get to know you more Noura. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer? Modelling and Acting have always been two passions of mine growing up. I’m very used to being photographed, and I have the looks to become a model. Additionally, I have excellent acting skills, and I am very fluent in French and Arabic aside from English. Growing up I practised many sports such as swimming, tennis, dancing, horseback riding, skiing, scuba diving... Furthermore, I’m a very professional person and have a pretty flexible schedule for travelling. Noura, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model? I’m very passionate about modelling, acting, travelling and dancing. One of my primary goals in life is to take the leading role in an exciting movie that would inspire others with the meaning behind it as I believe to have the ability to be good at acting. I’m also very interested in becoming a model and hoping to start representing some good brands soon. Who is your inspiration in life Noura? How do you stay inspired as Model? In life I get inspired everyday, whether it’d be from people I interact with or from real stories I hear about on the internet etc. I don’t really have one specific person I get inspired from. However, I’m daily inspired by the potential I have which keeps me going everyday no matter what I go through. I stay inspired in all areas of my life by simply trying to reach the best version of myself constantly. I also belive that potential is infinite, there is always room for growth and learning which makes the journey even more interesting. Therefore, by having that mindset I remain inspired and very optimistic. We all make mistakes Noura; we wish we could take back. What was the error you made in the past that you want to you can bring back? Growing up I’ve had a perfect metabolism and for that reason ate whatever I wanted without gaining weight. Now that I’m older and have made so many research about food and how our bodies digest it I realise that I shouldn’t have spent my childhood eating an equal amount of processed and healthy eating. I’m currently very health conscious, and I try to get as many vitamins as possible from the food I eat every day and rarely get any processed food, wishing I had started being that healthy from a younger age. Noura, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients? I’m a very professional and punctual person, expecting the same from people I would work with. Please tell us Noura, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? Family always comes first in my opinion aside from health. Work comes next on my priority list as I believe it is essential to have an excellent source of income that should be partly invested to get even more income and partially saved for emergency reasons not to mention that it is essential to keep ourselves busy and productive. Friendship is vital to me as well, and I believe one should make time for that because relationships require time to build trust and have people around you to share your happiness with. Social life is part of that as well, where there is an increase of chance of meeting new people and forming new friendships. Noura, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. I once had a project with three other peers, and we were having a debate on who was going to work on the visual part of the plan. One of my peers who were not creative was insisting on working on that part of the project. The problem was that we didn’t have much time to present the plan differently in case that person hadn’t done an excellent job at it, and I knew I was the right fit in that area. To convince them to let me take charge of that, I showed them all the previous projects I had individually worked on in the past, and they were amazed by how organised and how eye-catching the work was that they let me take care of it. My other peer was then actually happy to see that I could help in making the visual part of our project tremendous and she ended up choosing another part of the project that interested her as well and in which she could be more useful in. Noura, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. I haven’t precisely modelled yet, so hopefully will have that kind of accomplishment soon! Noura, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or challenging about it? I’m generally a very creative person, so I am creative with my work and even in all areas of my life every day. I never find it difficult, in fact, I use creativity anytime something seems confusing or needs to be solved. What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?* * Always believe in yourself and listen to your inner voice. People are capable of accomplishing anything if they set their minds to it and never let fear pull you back. Lastly, always reach for the best version of yourself and work every day on filling the gap between where you stand now and where your potential is. Photo Credits: Photographer: @mikeost

Mladen Jergovic Photographer

Mladen Jergovic mladendodo@gmail.com @mladenjergovic http://www.mladenjergovic.com Country Croatia State / Region Istria Photographer ABOUT I am a former journalist and live TV executive producer, then wanted to change tack and threw myself wholeheartedly into photography. I like to draw with the light. I like to depict literal – not subjective – reality, that fleeting moment of now onto physical photographic medium and freeze it there for longer than now. I love doing portraits, in and out of the studio. Paintings are flashes of character in people's faces, depicted just once for a brief segment of one second. If taken naturally, with no particular plan or set-up, they are real entries into one's soul. That's what I aim to do: to gain the entry and share it with others. Our readers would love to get to know you more Mladen. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer? I love making photographs, playing with light and reality, trying to catch the most challenging trophy - the decisive moment, be it a facial expression, a piece of frozen movement or merely a dance of photons in darkness. Mladen, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer? I've been into photography virtually all my life, but only in the past 6 or 7 years I managed to get rid of all professional distractions (i.e. sorted myself financially) and pursued my passion. I fulfilled many professional aspirations in other fields. Now I want to chase perfect portrait photographs. Who is your inspiration in life Mladen? How do you stay inspired as Photographer? My inspiration is infinite variations of the human face. So, my motivation is endless. And I like to work anyway, for fun and passion - and then the money will come as a fortunate consequence. I have lots of experience in such a set-up. We all make mistakes Mladen; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you want to you can bring back? I stick with my decisions and never dwell on if-only. I probably made mistakes but they are mine, and I can live with them, without taking any back. I instead use them for future references. Mladen, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients? Extremely punctuate and professional. I never steer off agreements. Please tell us Mladen, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? Work, family, friends, social life. Mladen, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. Well, I managed to persuade one of world wealthiest men to name me as executive live programme producer in his Formula 1 TV company, because I could not see anybody better suited for the job. I thought my knowledge, imagination and drive would be more important than modesty and waiting for the opportunity to land in my lap. He gave me one chance. If I failed, I would get an axe from the company. I didn't fail. Mladen, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. I am proud of private portrait shooting session I did in 2017 for an American client. Also, got into the final stage of well-known international photo contest (of which I can't say any more at this stage). I only just started to ''get out'' so my professional (meaning commercial) accomplishments in the real sense are yet to come. Mladen, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or challenging about it? I love going to sign, crowded events, like Art Biennale in Venice, Italy, and walk around, picking exciting people, aiming the camera at them and then just waiting, waiting for them to look at me for that incredibly short first moment, and thus getting a glimpse of their real soul. You have to have guts for that and to know precisely when they will stop resisting to look at you. And yes, many times you have to be inventive (or creative), but I'd somewhat not elaborate. What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?* * Four advanced: work, work, work, and also follow your instincts. ABOUT

I started photography from a very young age. Brought up in a house with a father who was also a keen photographer. He had a small bedroom as a darkroom and was always encouraging me to develop my film and prints. From this, I studied photography in college and progressed into urbex and landscape shots. More recently encouraged by a couple of friends, I have overcome a lot to start shooting people! Self-confidence has grown and now feel more comfortable with this.

Our readers would love to get to know you more Reece. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer?

I have my style... I see things differently to others.

Reece, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer?

I started as a child. Maybe as young as three years old. I aspired to my father as he could turn his hand to anything.

Who is your inspiration in life Reece? How do you stay inspired as Photographer?

Trying new things. It's always nice to freshen up skills or play with some new kit.

We all make mistakes Reece; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back?

I live with no regrets. I take as many opportunities that I can. Doors open and close for a reason.

Reece, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients?

I'm laid back and relaxed, easy going some might say. I aim to please and go as far as I can to deliver what the client or customer wanted.

Please tell us, Reece, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family?

I work hard. I'm full time employed as an IT Technician between many schools in my area. I also make time for Photography as I feel this is a release from the stress I face day to day. Social life is what I want it to be. I have the people in my life that are important to me, those I can call upon when needed, but they also know I'm there for them. The family is important to me, and I fully support them as far as I can.

Reece, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.

Sometimes this is difficult. Working with different people, it is hard sometimes to judge what reaction they may have to specific situations. Building rapport with clients or colleagues is essential. Building trust is a must. People need to feel relaxed about the decisions you make and not feel like they are being pushed into something they may feel uncomfortable.

Reece, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer.

I was able to photograph the Aurora locally, and my Photograph made it onto the TV on two separate channels which were great! However, I feel my confidence around people has grown so much (thanks to my Photography buddies), and the ability to work with others is getting more comfortable every time and would say that this is the proudest achievement for me.

Reece, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or challenging about it?

I love doing creative nights at the local studio (Oak Photo in East Durham.) To have opportunities to work with models, makeup artists, and of course, other photographers have made a significant impact on my work. From learning basic lighting techniques to having a play with some lights... Has strengthened the knowledge and gave me a concrete foundation from which to progress.

Find local creative nights. They are a fantastic atmosphere in which to learn, create, and collaborate. Opportunities like that should be taken! I wouldn't have the confidence to do what I do now without them!

In doing so, I realised that money was a Hurdle in my life that I had yet to leap over... so I knew that marketing my brand would be costly and difficult. Just another business hurdle to leap over, but instead, I moved that hurdle aside and walked around it, by pledging my allegiance to the fashion industry and Co-Branding with Great designers and Brands This allowed me to enter LAFW, NYFW and Miami Mercedes Benz Fashion week all while networking, interviewing and Branding. I then begin to do Celebrity gifting suites and gifting my line to the celebrities and their friends also making me accessible to them and their reality TV shows. This opened the door for me to do more upscale branding. I now do Co-Branding shoots where I do hair and bring on a hair and Makeup the team. I bring in the photographers, and I scout the location as well as bring in designers and brands. *Hairstylist *Fashion stylist *Brand Our readers would love to get to know you more Kelly Anne. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer? The special thing about me and my Brand is I love and believe in touching your heart first through demonstrations of my product line. Kelly Anne, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Brand? My passion is to keep growing my line and visibility. The Brand started to grow and take shape and form because of the events I chose to do. These events have made me visible to people through social media, press and tv. Who is your inspiration in life Kelly Anne? How do you stay inspired as Brand? Paul Mitchell was my first go to brand. I loved his brand and read his biography and was smitten at how he executed with $700 and a door to door campaign. Then I met and bought from Isabel Marant, she designed jewellery and then later grew into Designing Beautiful clothing that I love. I was also inspired by Ralph Lauren, his humble beginning and belief in his Ties to his Incredible rise. And of Course the Great Versace! When I feel bad or fall short, These are my personal favourite Go to designers to remind me to keep moving, creating and building. We all make mistakes Kelly Anne; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back? One mistake that I wish I could take back was at the tender age of 17. I walked into a modelling agency in Downtown LA. Just kidding around but longing for validation of my life and desire. Well, I got it!, the young man at the desk thought I was a model and asked me if I would take a modelling gig in Culver city. I said yes. He said," ok wait here while I get your assignment". When he walked away, I turned and ran out of the door, down the stairs and out of the building. That was Elite Modeling Agency..smh@my yourself and my fears Kelly Anne, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients? I describe myself as a patient, fair and eager to please my client as I know they have other choices and I count it as an honour that they chose my brand and me. Please tell us, Kelly Anne, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? The family will always be first, but I don't have to choose too much because many times they will help me with a shoot or event. Often when I do go in alone, I'm sure they are the first, "GoodMorning Sunshines!" That I give and See and the Last, "GoodNight Love!" with a kiss that I give. Kelly Anne, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. When you first started my product line, the salon said No we would not carry it we see any reason. I told them the difference in the way it nurtures the hair and how my clients loved it. Finally, I gave each stylist a sample bottle to try. A week later they were all ordering from me and making a commission. It was in their best interest to buy from me instead of having their client purchase from me and having me make all the money. They were persuaded Kelly Anne, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Brand. My proudest accomplishment came when I shared my product line with a few ladies that I thought were here in American just visiting. Come to find out they were the Founders of a world pageant. They bought my product line took it back to Paris and invited me to the pageant as a sponsor. I flew to Paris that year with all accommodations paid for. I knew I had something special then. Kelly Anne, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it? My last shoot was my most exciting. I had six brands there. Mua, hairdressers, three photographers, three videographers, one drone, 20 models and we shot at 31341 Mulhuland Hwy Malibu Pamela Anderson Lee's and Tommy Lee's old home with broker Missy Echeverria. We shot with a few reality stars, actresses & musicians. Along came a few investors to see my work. I'm still humbled and floored by that last shot I visualised it, and I'm still amazed. Thanking all involved What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Brand?* * You must never give up. You can take your brand to new levels every week. Use your hashtags, Attending every important event. Post daily. And most importantly Remember that you are a brand. Don't get sidetracked with other world issues unless those issues are YOUR BRAND. Stay on the course your followers are counting on you and so are other brands that may need to co-brand with you Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for? I am looking to co-brand even more this year with more locations, Designers, Brands. I am looking for editorial type shoots. If you are interested and understand togetherness, then we can Co-Brand Now Photo Credits: photographers are @KellyAnneHair @Donnie_Image_production

Anton

Designer

Zbarzh

Anton Zbarzh antonzbarzh@yahoo.com @antonzbarzh http://www.antonzbarzh.com Country United States State / Region ohio Designer ABOUT I studied fashion design at VMCAD, and currently studying for fashion marketing. I have been a part of charity fashion shows for the last five years, breast cancer charity benefit and toys for tots fashion show. I had an opportunity to be published in a couple of magazines and look forward to more to come. I had a chance to display my designs in the RAW showcase. I am currently working on making a permanent move to the west coast with my partner of 4 years, who is a fashion editorial hairstylist. Our readers would love to get to know you more Anton. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer? I came to this country from Russia in 1996, and immediately felt a special connection to fashion. My grandmother was a seamstress her entire life, so in a way, I got the fashion bug from her. I remember sketching clothes in high school, way before I knew the concept of constructing garments. Looking back most of the clothes look unwearable but bringing my ideas to paper enabled me to have the passion I have today. I like to drape my pieces to give a one of a kind feel. When I work with a client, I sketch their ideas and bring their vision to life accordingly, but when I make a collection for a fashion show or a photo shoot, I let the fabric speak to me and inspire me. A lot of designers like to drape because it is incredibly freeing and therapeutic. Anton, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Designer? I started sketching when I was in 10th grade in high school, in fact, I still have the original sketchbook with me, and that's from a long time ago. I wanted to make clothes, and when I got accepted to fashion school, it wasn't the easiest for me to grab the sewing bug. My teacher believed and me, and I'm thankful to her because I ended up coming through and was able to make clothes. My first freelance job after college was to make maternity clothes, and everyone was terrified of stretch material. I'm glad that I took this opportunity because now I am able to work with any fabric which I very much enjoy. My next goal in life is to open a plus-size boutique and give my 'maisonettes' all the beautiful clothes. Who is your inspiration in life Anton? How do you stay inspired as Designer? People who came from nothing and achieved all of their goals are the ones that inspire me every day. I believe that determination is the biggest make it or break it factor. Some people tend to quit after the first fail; you need to keep running after your dreams. We all make mistakes Anton; we wish we could take back. What was the error you made in the past that you want to you can bring back? The only thing I regret is not going back to fashion school earlier in my life. Anton, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients? First, we have a glass of wine, and then I have them tell me their dream dress. I understand them right away that it is their moment and no one will take it away, and then we have another glass. It's all about having an organic and fun experience. Please tell us, Anton, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? I stopped having social life about a decade ago, for the exception of fashion shows and family events. I prioritise work, since it gets me closer to my dream, then family and friends. Anton, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. Dressing mannequins. Anton, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Designer. My proudest professional accomplishment is participating in charity fashion shows. I genuinely believe that giving back is a way of receiving. Anton, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or challenging about it? The exciting part is always the ability to be free with my designs; the tricky part is being able to draw the line between free and crazy. What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Designer?* * Do not lose focus and determination. Marissa Olson Makeup Artist

Marissa Olson marissaolson131@gmail.com @_makeupbymarissa_ http://marissaolson131.wixsite.com/makeupbymarissa Country United States State / Region Wisconsin ABOUT I currently live in Wisconsin, but I am moving to California in a few months to attend a master class at a makeup school. I have been passionate about makeup for as long as I can remember and also have a passion for doing makeup for others. I enjoy showing my version of art to the world and actively enjoy expressing myself through makeup. I am putting my whole life into makeup and forever improving my craft. Our readers would love to get to know you more Marissa. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer? With my makeup, I focus firmly on the client and sincerely strive to understand and know what the client is looking for in a makeup look or service. It is all about the client and how they feel. No makeup look is too much or too little, and if a client has a vision, then I will execute that to the absolute best of my ability. My primary goal is satisfaction and a feeling of confidence for the people I work for. Beauty has no limit. Marissa, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Make-up Artist? Makeup application is my passion that started with art and painting portraits. I thought “if I enjoy painting people on a 2D surface, then maybe I should try on a 3D one and I felt a real connection after that. I started applying makeup on myself and my mother. My mother always encouraged me to use powder on other people as a hobby that later turned into a passionate career. I can never thank my mother enough for continually pushing me to keep going. I hope to do makeup for television, movies, magazines and runways. Who is your inspiration in life Marissa? How do you stay inspired as Make-up Artist? My biggest inspiration is my mother (cliche, I know) who is a hair stylist. She has continuously shown me that art isn’t just painting and drawing on paper, but on the world. My mother has such a love for making people feel beautiful, and she has passed that love onto me. She always believes in my abilities and passions. We all make mistakes Marissa; we wish we could take back. What was the error you made in the past that you want to you can bring back? I wish that I could have enjoyed my childhood more and lived in the moment of innocence and young bliss. To have stopped and try to remember even the smallest moments of being young and carefree. Marissa, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients? I want to get to know every client I work with. If you do not have a good relationship with a client, then the job will not live up to the full potential. I want to be able to always remember that client and the smile on their face because of the work that I did and the impression that I left. I am also very good at listening and following directions to make a client happy. In general, I am pleased with working with all clients. Please tell us, Marissa, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? If you love your job, then you never have to work a day in your life, and that is a motto I live by because doing makeup is the most important thing I do that also happens to be my social life as well. I also make friends along the way while doing what I love, and my family is always there to support me. Marissa, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. I have had a fair share of moments where I talked with a client about what would work uniquely for their face and style. Example: I once had a bride who wanted airbrush, but I knew that the airbrush would not work with her skin so I explained why a regular application of makeup would be better for her skin and even showed her the difference in both on her skin as well. She was very pleased with how her makeup turned out for the wedding. Marissa, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Make-up Artist. My proudest professional accomplishment as a makeup artist was getting certified in airbrush. I had saved up much money, especially not having much money, to begin with, and taking classes on the airbrush. I have since used airbrush makeup on many clients and some film sets. Marissa, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or challenging about it? I once worked on a film set doing makeup, and I got to plan out the makeup for a lot of the money (going over with the directors and actors as well.) It was the first time I have ever worked on a movie set and it was hard working with so many people at once but so rewarding getting to experience and plan such a artistic role in a project like that. What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Make-up Artist?* * Practice, practice, practice! Even if you think that you are not improving or going anywhere, you are. Keep going and keep being inspired. Photo Credits: All photos are taken by myself.

What was exciting or challenging about it? For my participation in the farewell of the Indonesia ambassador in Venezuela fashion show, I have to make a reversible dress with Batik, a type of fabric from Indonesia. Brea

Graves Photographer

Brea Graves breabgraves@gmail.com @littlebirdbreath http://www.littlebirdbreath.com Country United States State / Region Montana Photographer ABOUT I started as a wedding and senior portrait photographer during my freshman year of college while I pursued psychology and history degree. Throughout college, I continued to pursue various forms of photography (from street photography to weddings, to summer camps, and much more). All to figure out where my real passion was in photography. After many years of taking pictures on the streets of Atlanta and meeting various models along the way, a need to help make women feel beautiful began to spark within me. However, I continued with wedding photography as I enjoyed being able to love and support a bride on her special day and deliver such meaningful pictures. After taking a year break from photography, getting married, and moving across the country to Montana, that little spark that had been stirred in me so long ago, began to ignite itself once again. I started reaching out to models and friends to take portraits of women to make them feel beautiful, not just with my photographs, but in the interaction, we had throughout the entire process. I enjoy creating work that reflects a woman’s real beauty, which comes out when she feels a sense of understanding and acceptance in being herself. Brea specialises in •Lifestyle and Glamour Portraits •Intimate Couples •Senior Portraits Our readers would love to get to know you more Brea. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer? While I enjoy taking pictures of people and being able to sit down after a shoot and cull through the photos to find the best ones, I appreciate even more getting to know the people that I work with. I feel that my pictures have the ability to “go to the next level” when I have taken the time to get to know my subjects. My biggest goal during any session is to capture portraits that my clients look back on and say, “Wow, I didn’t know I looked that good.” I want them to be able to see how beautiful they are and understand that it wasn’t because of how I edited the photograph that they looked beautiful, but because they felt a sense of comfort to be themselves during the photo shoot and I was able to capture that RAW moment. Brea, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer? My passion is to travel the world using the gift God blessed me with, to photograph, love on and share how beautiful women are all over the world. I started with my grandfather’s Polaroid camera that he used to take pictures of cars and houses he was selling. He soon gave me that camera to have and take pictures with, not knowing that he was preparing for his departure to heaven. Since then I have pursued photography starting with senior portraits and moving on to weddings. Throughout college, I photographed many weddings as well as worked with the school magazine. I then turned to Street photography where I got to meet many other creatives in the Atlanta area, and we began to build each other up, supporting one another and shooting together. Eventually, I took a year break after getting engaged. We then got married and moved across the country, where I finally picked photography back up and began to pursue portrait work with models and couples. Who is your inspiration in life Brea? How do you stay inspired as Photographer? Jesus is my number one inspiration. I know many people think of Him to be just a good guy, but I believe He is much more than that. He is perfect and reached an unattainable level of love for others that I haven’t been able to witness by anyone else on earth including myself. Moreover, that’s what makes me sure of my need to love and believe in Him as my Savior. He is who pushes me to love God first and love others as myself. I get to enjoy life with this Truth. Being able to continue working with new people keeps me inspired because it’s another story I get to hear and another soul I get to meet. As far as an inspirational photographer? That would have to be Julia Trotti, whom I adore! We all make mistakes Brea; we wish we could take back. What was the error you made in the past that you want to you can bring back? I wish that I wouldn’t have stopped taking pictures for that year that I took off. I would have continued taking portraits of all the beautiful people around me that I got to meet in that time at Pizza Joint as a server. I met so many incredible human beings with intense and inspiring stories, and I wish I would have taken the time to photograph them. Brea, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients? I am a very personable, easy going, and kind person. I try my very best to crack jokes, but I end up being that corny person you have to hush up when you’re out in public with really cool people, whom you’re trying to impress. Please tell us, Brea, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? Right now, my husband and I live in Montana, and our families live in Georgia, so we do our best to make time to call or text. I currently work in the mental health field which can become very draining, but since jumping back into photography, it’s helped me to have an outlet on the weekends. Days are long here in Montana, so I work my full-time job four days a week and then when I get off, I still have plenty of daylight to either does a shoot, edit some shots, or update the website. My husband is gone seven days at a time due to work, so at that time I try my best to fill my time up with work, photography and reading. When my husband comes home for the six days back, we travel together, volunteer at church, go out with friends, and he even sometimes helps me with photo shoots. Brea, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. I was trying to show someone something outside, and they couldn’t see it, so I moved their head some, and they could see it. (My answer because I don’t have a good example off the top of my head). Brea, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. My proudest moment was when I was asked to be photo editor of the school magazine at Kennesaw State University, and I was able to work with a team of photographers to plan out shoots for the magazine, and I was only 21! Brea, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or challenging about it? I always get to be creative with my work! However, I guess the best time I get to be creative is when I’m taking portraits at golden hour, and I’m in a field or on top of a mountain with full view of the sunset, and in those 20 minutes the light is continually changing and I’m having to continually improve my settings because I shoot in manual, and then I’m able to get these really great portraits with the perfect lightning, and then two minutes later I’m getting these rad silhouette shots of a couple or person with this sky that is on fire, and it’s all just so fast paced and breathtaking. What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?* * Don’t stop believing in yourself. There are going to be days when your work is total crap. I have a ton of those days, but you don’t give up. You study those crappy photos, and you tell yourself what you did wrong and what you need to do better next time, and if you don't know what you need to do to be better, you find inspiring photographers, and you study their work and then you find photographers that vlog and you watch them and take notes. You network with other photographers in your area, and you go out and shoot together and share ideas, and I promise it will all make you better. Don’t stop believing in yourself and don’t stop collaborating with other photographers. Keep taking pictures. Photo Credits: Photographer: Brea Boutwell Graves @littlebirdbreath

Devin Duggan

Devin Duggan devinduggan02@aol.com @DevDugg24 Country United States State / Region Tampa ABOUT Well, I was born in Virginia Beach and have an Italian mother and black daddy. I am the only child and am proud to say that after all this time my parents are still together. I grew up in project housing till I was about 12 years old and my family finally bought a middle-class home in Bethlehem, PA. Growing up my parents were very strict in both my academics and athletics. Although we didn't have much, I felt like I was rich growing up because they provided me with everything I could ever ask for and in turn, I think the responsibility to take care of them as they age. Going into HS, I focused on predominate football and ended up getting a scholarship to a Valley Forge Military Academy as my grades and injuries held me back from attending a 4-year college. Coming out of VFMA I was ranked the 8th best safety in the nation and took a scholarship to play at Duquesne U. Coming out of college I bounced around a few professional teams but unfortunately could not stay healthy and after my 3rd shoulder surgery sat down with my agent and family and decided it was time to pursue another career. I moved down to Tampa, FL with a college teammate and continued a career in business while also making a short stint of a job being a male dancer to earn extra cash. Along the way, a casting director for the bachelorette recommended me when they saw me dance and made it to the top 50 finalists for JoJo Fletcher Season. Then went on to be asked to participate in TLC's married my mom and dad season 2 in which I was married in August. I soon realised this was not the girl I could see myself spending the rest of my life with so we separated in Feb and finalised the divorce in May. Since then I've been exploring opportunities within the modelling market with both runway and print as well as partnering with a few charity organisations such as a wheelchair for kids and st judes children's hospital. Our readers would love to get to know you more Devin. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer? I believe what makes me unique is my ambition. My drive to always want more and continue to push on to be something great. Be someone who can make a difference... make an impact... be remembered. Regardless of what it is whether it be football... managing an office... modelling...acting... playing connect four... I want to be the best. While it is a gift of never becoming complacent, it can also be a curse of never being satisfied. I am still trying to find my balance but in the meantime... whatever it may be... I'm going to work my hardest to be the best. Devin, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model? My number one goal is to take care of my momma, so she doesn't have to work anymore. Both my parents are hardworking folks and did a great job providing me with a life well beyond their means and the chase to take care of them and especially my mom as they grow old is what drives me day in and day out. I was approached as a model when I moved to Tampa for a few local clothing brands and found I enjoyed the process and although I was terrified at first (sometimes still am) I knew it gave me that rush I missed from football. Things escalated from there, and I am excited to see where it takes me. Who is your inspiration in life Devin? How do you stay inspired as Model? My mother is always my biggest inspiration and best friend. She's always supported and loved me through all my ups and downs and continues to be one of the biggest reasons I will ever aspire to more. We all make mistakes Devin; we wish we could take back. What was the error you made in the past that you want to you can bring back? If we are talking about in general, I would just saw all the money I blew on reckless nonsense to impress people who could care less about me.... but if we are talking a specific instance, I had a DUI in college that was costly and hurt my folks. Devin, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients? I think I am incredibly coachable and friendly despite most people telling me I come off as a cocky brat before speaking to me. The casting team from the TLC show even said I was a pleasure to work with and one of the easiest(coolest:) talents they've got to work with., Please tell us, Devin, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? During the week I am heavily regimented with work, fitness and my diet. I believe everyone needs the right balance between work and play. My family and friends are above all but spend little focus on my social life vs Carreer. Devin, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. Most recently there was a conflict on work over an account in my office between two team members, and I was successful in defusing the issue over ownership and persuading both account reps to share commission percentage on the account due to the circumstances. Devin, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. Product Professional Accomplishment would be walking in Orlando Fashion Week. Devin, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or challenging about it? I shot with Marvin Biename in Miami and was the first time I was introduced to Artistic Nude as a model. Def a little scary but if you focus on the actual art of the shoot instead of just being naked in weird positions.. you begin to see the beauty in it. What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?* * Hustle.... but that's just if you want to be successful in life. Modelling is no diff... go to as many castings as you can... network with the right people... be confident... and keep in shape Photo Credits: Leo Restrepo... Marvin Biename
