Do you think that farmers are hustlers or entrepreneurs?

ll farmers are superman. They play a big role in our lives and it is very hard to eliminate them. I would like you to think about this , are you able to spend a couple of days without food in your stomach, applying skin lotion on your body, wearing clothes or sleeping without blankets at night? Can you keep up? Bear this in your mind that farming is one of the best business to venture ~ it is more than sewing seeds on the ground and waiting for the crops to grow. Profit has to be made at the end of the day. There are two different types of farming which are rearing of livestock and growing of crops. Business goes beyond making money. This beg this question, why all of the farmers are not the same? If you take a look closely, you would find out that they are located in the same region, using same inputs and receiving the same volume of rainfall but there will be a huge difference on their output. A hustler is a someone who provides product for free or sale without improving the product. Ultimately, their characteristic is to have fast money and quick results without going extra mile. For example, subsistence farmers produce grains for their own consumption, nothing more to add on the product. On the other hand, entrepreneurs is someone who venture into business with a new product or he modify the existing product in a unique way. The good part about entrepreneurs is that they do not just do jump into business without doing a proper
research or meeting the need of the customers. Of course, entrepreneur is a problem solver. This is what makes them to be outstanding by adding value to the product. As a result of this, it prolongs the life span of human beings and animals as well as protects our precious environment. Lets assume that you have had a great harvest of strawberries in your field. Do not make a mistake to sell your products direct to the market. There is a high risk of getting less turnover because you will be selling a semi ~ processed products. Why cannot you convert strawberries into jam. Stretch a bit further by adding value on your ultimate product. It opens a gateway for packaging and branding and establishing a good name for the company. In a nut shell, a business is not a business until it meets the demands of the customers by adding immeasurable value on whatever product you can produce. We are living in an environment that requires more entrepreneurs than hustlers simply because this is the only way we can solve the problem of unemployment , poverty and hunger in our nations. Hustlers have limited capacity to make the impact on this world because they are only capable to feed themselves.
