Whether your style suits you or not, fashion remains one of the practices which are growing by each second on and in everyone. What's better than presenting old and new fashion clothings, lines and labels than through a Model? Many have said nothing and I agree with them. This is a purposeful journey which will always be meant to be. Behind every model and the most advertisement of fashion stands an agency and a magazine to blow up our imagination. Model Guide has taken that quest to make it a bigger outcome you can not easily resist. Established in April 2018, 7 (seven) months from now; Model Guide has taken a safe and fast path from none existing to success in a short period of time. Some essential and enormous goals are ought to be achieved as time briefs us into the future. The tremendous mind behind the establishment of Model Guide is Lewis Nyamakosi popularly known as Ludah in the social media clusters. It took a real man to risk executing a competitive vision in a competitive industry and actually make it through the challenges to come up with the final product, which was and is Model Guide. Originally established in Zimbabwe, deep within the city of Harare. The atmosphere of the organisation is clouding the world with a sweet aroma of originality in the profession of fashion and grooming models in Zimbabwe. Model Guide is an agency for models, an aid and lastly but not the least, a magazine regularly for fashion. The interesting features of the organisation keeps rolling without an end to stop them. Model Guide actually helps models from zero to until they reach
their bus stop. It does not end there just yet, but goes furthermore to help
its models get legit deals from different co-operations; it may be a brand. They also get paid what they deserve apart from getting a lot of exposure around the nation and worldwide. Let words not only be words, but let words be actions. Model Guide's words are also known as actions. In respecting their clients, they put action to their words, and that's success. In the last haunted with victory 7 (seven) months, the organisation has been able to help a titanic number of 50 (fifty) models to reach their maximum goal(s). Some of those models have won pageants because of the services and help Model Guide had to offer. Every model's dream, winning pageants, not just a single pageants and it goes a long way to mean something essential to them. Well, I would not agree with Wilde's description of fashion as an "ugliness". What I do agree with though is the fact that we have to alter it every few months, which brings me to the point of this article, appropriate dressing for different seasons.
To begin with, models should bear in mind that as trend setters it is their obligation to choose fashion trends that the every day person can emulate while being weather sensitive and feeling comfortable.
As the rainy season is upon us, it is that time again where you throw away your maxi dresses and pull out your short dresses and playsuits. Avoiding full length heavy trousers especially denim is wise in this season. This is the best tie to rock cropped pants.
When it comes to dresses for a photoshoot, or just a day out, floral and bright neon colours are best for lightening moods on dreary, dank days. On cold rainy days, a pair of pantyhose can be great way to keep warm while putting on a sophisticated look. These can be complemented with ankle boots.
Speaking of shoes, short duck boots are essential in every girl's closet. These are a better alternative for the traditional knee high boots in case it turns out to be a hot day. Another must, is a pair of rubber rain boots, that ensure being able to maneuver different locations without trouble or having to change soaked shoes. Leather or rexin sneakers also work when going of a casual look, they are light and easily dry. Chunky heels are also perfect for keeping feet dry.

Plastic shoes have been a general trend as they definitely protect from soaking feet. However, they are being slowly phased out as they come with a few hazards like sweaty feet, blisters here and there and being unfriendly to the environment. So, they may be good for travelling to keep your feet dry when going for indoor events where other shoes are more appropriate. Let's move on to makeup. This one is a challenge for most not just in case one gets caught in the rain, but the general humidity is just not friendly to most makeup. It makes mascara drip and lipstick bleed. So, to keep your makeup spic'n'span in the monsoon season the first secret is to moisturise your face. I know it sounds ironic to add moisture when the weather is humid, but as it turns out, skin tends to lose moisture in humid conditions. Therefore, moisturising your face before putting on makeup and using powder instead of cream foundation will help make it set. Now, EYES. Again moisture is key here. Eyes should be hydrated before eyeliner is applied. Waterproof liner and mascara are also vital for a rainy day. If one chooses not to use waterproof liners, it is wise to use nude or brown colours. Not only will these avoid smudges, they also help in achieving a more natural look and widen eyes to give a bright awake look to draw attention away from the dull atmosphere. The same goes for eye shadow, beige, brown and other light powder shadows are best.

MAIN OBJECTIVE MJW 2018 aims at using opportunity through Beauty Pageant and Journalism to promote the Culture of Peace and International Understandings but also promoting Natural Resources, Tourism and Culture of the hosting Country through world appealing Medias. Similar objective shall apply for the future competition in any designated or selected host Country.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES 1) To deliver the vision of Miss Journalism World being the first competition to be organized in the world. 2) Give delegates (both contestants and their families) a chance to explore African Tourism by travelling Tanzania and preparing them becoming future ambassadors of this world’s economical leading sector. 3) While travelling Tanzania present an opportunity for delegates to visit and learn from African Indigenous communities for the purpose of promoting and preserving cultures. 4) Each host country shall have an opportunity to promote its natural resources same as Tanzanite Gems that are ONLY found in Tanzania. We shall use MJW Pageant to promote our natural resources by adding value and create awareness. Note: Miss Journalism World Crown is designed with a shape of the only free standing Mountain in the World the Kilimanjaro; having a very rare Gem stone of Tanzanite to honor the foundation and establishment of MJW Beauty Pageant.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES 6) In marking the establishment of MJW, the 2018 winners shall be awarded in honor a chance to enter to a newly walk of fame monument entitled KILIMANJARO WALK OF FAME. This shall remain as a permanent landmark for anyone whose name qualifies to enter whereas the Walk of Fame shall be located in one of the oldest Mt. Kilimanjaro climbing route (Celebrity Route – via Old Moshi). Mt. Kilimanjaro is believed to be one of the most visited sites in the world and the highest free standing mountain in the world or easily the roof of Africa. 7) The competition is designed to interact and meet many art performances from across the world including comedy, music, cultural dances and many more. 8) Above all, we are focusing on promoting the culture of peace and international understanding between contestant’s nations.
HIGHLIGHTS Arusha is the Safari capital of the World for being a gateway to the world’s famous and amazing destinations. In recognizing that the competition on World Mission will take place at Arusha, we felt there is a need to present to the delegates a lifetime opportunity to experience the Nature Conservation and Tourism in Tanzania. The Miss Journalism World 2018 will be filled with exciting activities; the delegates will be taken to Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Olduvai Gorge, and Mt. Kilimanjaro Trekking for some days to enjoy and experience thrilling touristic attractions that will include the spectacular photo sessions.
