As you breathe in the fragrance of our long-awaited summer, it is our profound hope that you will be inspired to spread your wings, to discover, explore, and experience beauty in nature and relationships. Modeliste strives to promote and build a strong sense of community for our readers. A place where the seeds of diversity and inclusivity have always blossomed, and which today is a platform for new artistic experiences, creativity, voices of inspiration and perspectives which translate into driving forces for women, recognizing ambition, determination, and success. These considerations have inspired this issue, where our cover model, Stephanie Shepherd, is undoubtedly a special voice. Celebrated for her work in the realm of climate education, Steph founded Future Earth, a nonprofit climate club which raises awareness of sustainability through its highly motivated grassroots online community. Steph has undoubtedly become an empowering voice and visionary who infuses a relentless spirit of community into her work, inspires activism and seeks universal joy.

What are your tips and tricks for maintaining healthy & glowy skin? I regularly see a dermatologist and I try to eat clean! I don’t drink as much water as I should but I’m working on it! If I’m feeling like my skin is feeling dull or congested, I’ll use the Sunday Riley Good Genes Overnight Exfoliate. What's your summer makeup routine? The Rhode Peptide Glaze + Sunscreen and Merit Lip Oil and then I’m out the door. Any tips & tricks you can share for luscious, long locks? I noticed when I stopped blow drying and putting heat on my hair every day, my hair really grew. So during the summer, unless I’m going somewhere where I need to get dressed up, I just let my hair air dry. Can you tell us about PLUS? PLUS is a sustainable personal care company! As PLUS’ Chief Impact Officer, I am thrilled to be leading the brand’s external sustainability education efforts, along with spearheading creative development, give-back initiatives, and partnerships on behalf of the brand. In addition to having a heavy hand in future product development, I’ll advise on accessible educational content. It’s my goal to educate more people about the climate crisis and how we can all contribute to lessening waste and our carbon footprint by starting with small swaps. Do you have any other collaborations/ projects for 2022 you can share? I have some exciting projects in the works, so stay tuned! You have used your platform to emphasize the importance of worldwide issues, wellness, and health. How do you educate yourself the amazing way you educate others? Now more than ever there are so many different platforms and mediums we have access to that can further our education on any subject! Whether I’m watching interviews on YouTube or attending Climate Reality trainings in person and listening to the experts and panelists speak on the climate crisis or simply scrolling through Instagram and following some of my favorite activists, I learn something every day.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? Honestly, just hanging out with my dog BINX and taking him on a walk or for a swim! How do you hope to influence others through your platform? I always refer back to this quote by Desmond Tutu- “Do your little bit of good where you are; it's those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.” It really is as simple as that. We can all do our part in small ways to help contribute to the larger good. What's at the top of your bucket list? Start my own charitable foundation! You recently just came out with a perfume, can you tell our Modeliste readers more about this? I recently launched my first ever fragrance collaboration with Snif! The fragrance is named Suganami, my Japanese surname and it’s a genderless, vegan, super sexy earthy scent and it’s available now on SNIF.co! Can you tell us about Future Earth and ways people can get involved? Future Earth is a community and online platform that seeks to inspire meaningful engagement with the climate crisis through digital media. We work to highlight factual based information about the climate crisis and the stories of activists, scientists, and frontline communities. You can follow us on Instagram at @FutureEarth! You have accomplished so much to this date, where do you see yourself in 10 years? In 10 years, God willing, firstly, I hope I am in good health, I have a successful acting career, maybe I started a brand of sorts and have a couple of kids and definitely more dogs! We often forget that the sun can damage not only our skin, but our hair as well. As your adventure filled summer continues, it’s important to consider changing up your hair care routine to suit the hottest months of the season. For those who love to spend their summers by the water, outdoors, and anywhere the sun's rays can reach, here is some advice on achieving healthy hair in the heat!

A cute hair scarf will always be in style. They’re perfect for the beach, especially if you don’t want the sweat that comes with wearing a ball cap or a floppy hat. Throw one on for the quickest way to protect your scalp from the sun.

MODELISTE MUSE OLAY NOEL What are you looking forward to most this summer? Traveling! Not traveling these past two years has put a dent in my bucket list of countries. I’m working to make up for it and am doing pretty well since taking trips to Grenada, Columbia, and Antigua just this month. What are your favorite summer trends? Oh my god, how I wish these hips could actually fit into a micro skirt! I love the way they look online, but if I take one step it’s over… trust me I’ve tried! For now, I’ll stick to waist chains and beads that I make for my online store MIANIK. There are three different styles (pearl, crystal, and gold shells), and I’m constantly inspired to create more. What or who inspires you and why? My mother and older sisters have always inspired me because they work so hard to create the life they want. Although it can be challenging, they show up every day and go above and beyond to get closer to their goals. What do you enjoy doing in your free time? When a free moment decides to reveal itself, I enjoy spending it roller skating at Venice beach with friends, taking a dance class, and getting back into the studio to my first love, R&B. What is your go-to summer beauty routine? After applying SPF 30 from Image Skincare, I use a light sheer foundation, a bit of concealer, powder where needed, and mascara. I love to add a setting spray even over my lightest application to give highlight to my summer glow. What's your secret to creating fun content? If you’re having fun, people will have fun watching you! I lean into my strengths which are generally things I enjoy doing. Whether it be dancing, skating, getting all dressed up, my best content comes from simply being myself. I know, crazy right?! What advice would you give to someone who aspires to have a career like your own? I would tell them to do research to thoroughly understand what they’re getting into, while

What are your favorite stores to shop for your summer style and beauty? I literally wear MIANIK every day because if I’m not going hard for my brand, who else will. I can’t pass up a moment of a stranger complimenting my outfit and letting them know it’s by me. For all my beauty needs, I can spend hours in Sephora looking through lipstick shades and metallic eyeshadow palette. What was your favorite part of traveling to Grenada with Modeliste? Grenada was INCREDIBLE! There were so many things I loved about the country, but I think my favorite part was being in a beautiful place with beautiful women creating art. What's one fact people would be surprised to know about you? That I’m very emotional. Yes, you guessed it, I’m a Pisces through and through. Are you working on any projects you can share with our Modeliste readers? I am currently working on my EP and am beyond excited about this project because it’s so near and dear to me. I have loved music since I can remember and spent a few years in a girl group, but this is my first time as a solo artist so I can’t wait to share what I’ve been working on. You heard it here first! What are three items in your closet you cannot live without? High waisted baggy pants are the most worn item by far! A white crop top and gold hoops are the first things that pop in my mind when getting dressed. Two things you cannot travel without? As mentioned above, my silk heated eye mask needs to be in everyone’s travel bag and on their nightstand, it’s truly a game changer. I also love my neck pillow. I have found new creative ways to wear it when tossing and turning around my seat. What has been a highlight of 2022 so far? I am finally an Aunty! My eldest sister had a little boy, and he is so precious. I love seeing how quickly he’s learning every day and he’s growing so fast. I can’t wait to kiss his big cheeks again. What would you like to say to your fans? Thank you for being on this journey with me. I appreciate all your support, encouragement, and love. My advice to anyone aspiring to have the same type of career path is to be adaptable to changes and challenges, whatever they may be. There will be times when you have nothing to work on, but in those moments remember to continue working on your craft so you are prepared for new opportunities that come your way and, believe me, they come when you least expect it!

MODELISTE MUSE JULIA KELLY What are you looking forward to most this summer? This summer I am really looking forward to traveling to see friends in London, spending time at Central Park, & exploring New York with my new puppy "Bunz". Also possibly getting to visit Italy in the Fall. What are your favorite summer trends? My favorite summer trends are anything that reminds me of vintage days in Brazil. I don't really go off of trends, I just love timeless vintage 80's pieces and inspo from the 80's and 90's. What is a typical work day like for you? A typical work day is unconventional for me, anything from preparing photos for a brand to post, or rehearsing lines to prepare for an audition, taking an online Spanish language or acting class or writing down new ideas for upcoming projects I'd like to do. What do you enjoy doing in your free time? In my free time I enjoy listening to music, going on walks with my puppy, watching new shows and movies, grabbing drinks and dinner with friends. into the studio to my first love, R&B. What is your go-to summer beauty routine? My go-to summer beauty routine is very minimal makeup and using really good skincare on both my nightly and morning routines so my skin is ready for the day. What's your secret to creating fun content? Creating content has never been super quick and easy for me, because my inspiration for content is always changing, I don't like to follow the crowd, I want to be set apart and unique with my ideas. What advice would you give to someone who aspires to have a career like your own? The past 11 years haven't been easy by any means. It's been a whirlwind of changes and I have had to adapt quickly at times.

What are your favorite stores to shop for your summer style and beauty? My favorite stores for new fashion are always thrifting and vintage stores to find unique items that no one else has. I am a firm believer in recycling clothing! I also love the brands SSENSE, Skims for basics, Reformation and Reformation Vintage. Then for beauty items I love, Pixi Beauty, Charlotte Tilbury, and Dior concealer is my "Must Have!! des and metallic eyeshadow palette. What was your favorite part of traveling to Grenada with Modeliste? My favorite part of Grenada was the Craback from BB's Crab Shack - the food! Also the Locals are the warmest people with such a vibrant culture! Our producer was incredible with Modeliste, she helped all of us girls to have a great experience! I always look forward to and LOVE my trips with Modeliste! What's one fact people would be surprised to know about you? The surprising fact about myself is, I have a vast knowledge about film and music! I love both so much. What are three items in your closet you cannot live without? 3 items in my closet that I can't live without are: 1) a white wife beater tank 2) great fitting pair of vintage jeans and 3) an amazing vintage classic heel - my current favorite is my black Miu Miu heel! Two things you cannot travel without? I can't travel without my skincare products and my iPhone & AirPods. What has been a highlight of 2022 so far? A huge highlight of 2022 so far is that I am finally settling into an apartment in New York, it's been a lifetime dream. What would you like to say to your fans? I love my Fans, they have been so dedicated to me for so many years! They really keep me going with their kind words of encouragement. I hope that I can always do the same for them!

But you have to just say "Hey, this is what I'm doing, take it or leave it," eventually if you do/say/wear anything with enough confidence people will start to catch on.

MODELISTE MUSE KATE BARTLETT How did you begin your career as an influencer? A lot of people assume that I started doing social media when I started TikTok, but I've actually been creating and posting content since I was 16 years old. I was never really interested in the traditional extracurricular activities most high schoolers did and always knew I loved fashion and putting together outfits. One day one of my friends threw out the idea of starting a fashion blog and I kind of ran with it. Before school I would watch coding tutorials on YouTube so I could code edits and designs into my website, and after school every single day my mom would help me take photos of the outfit I wore that day. It was definitely not considered cool or normal at the time, but I truly believe I would not be doing what I am today if I had never started my blog in high school. What can people expect to see when following you on social media? On my social media, I have somewhat of a format that I stick to. On Tiktok, I like to do daily vlogs, photo montages, outfit videos, PR Hauls, etc. On my Instagram, I feel like I get a little bit more personal. I feel like Instagram is a really easy platform to connect with your followers and I love talking to people over DM's. A highlight and a goal you hope to accomplish in your career? One of my biggest goals is to have my own business. Since I was a little girl, I always knew that I wanted to be my own boss and have my own company. At the moment, I'm focusing on growing my brand and following on social media, but in the next few years I would love to create my own company and lean in towards that. It will likely be in the fashion realm. 3 beauty products you cannot live without? This one is easy: Charlotte Tilbury Light Wand Cream Blush, Glow Recipe Watermelon Dew Drops, and Clear Brow Gel! What tips & tricks can you extend to someone aspiring to have a career like your own? The number one piece of advice I tell people who want to make social media their job is

What's something you're looking forward to this summer? This summer has been full of travel for me which has been so fun but definitely looking forward to spending some time in the city with my friends. I've started to appreciate my "chill" time so much more lately. Go-to outfit for a summer lunch with the girls? It's definitely been a sundress summer for me! But I never like to wear open-toed shoes in the city so I usually pair with sneakers or loafers and a slick back bun or loose waves. Who/What inspires you? I think social media is such a fun career because it's so easy to be inspired by the people working around you. I think this is one of the few Industries where people at a young age can achieve great success and really change their lives with only one tool - their phones. At what point did you turn your social media platform into a career? Are there any other careers you'd like to explore in the future? It's interesting because social media became my career while I was still in college. In May of 2021, I quit both of my part time jobs to support myself with just my social media - I truly do hope I can be my own boss forever! What's your dream collaboration? I feel extremely blessed to have worked with so many of my dream brands already. Getting to work with names like Valentino, Ferragamo, and YSL were all pinch me moments for sure, but I really think my dream project would be creating and promoting my own brand. How do you hope to influence people through your social media platforms? I always want to be a positive light on social media and will forever stick by that. If I don’t have something positive and uplifting to share or am not in the mood, I simply won’t post. I want people to come to my page and smile and I think my followers appreciate that. You gained hundreds of thousands followers overnight, can you explain the feelings that ran through your mind and what this experience was like? At the time I didn't really process the number. I wasn't monetizing my social media at the time so it didn't really mean much from

a business standpoint at that time but I remember thinking to myself - "Woah, this might actually become something."

Congratulations on graduating! What was it like going to college and maintaining a successful social media platform? What were the challenges and how did you overcome them? Thank you! When I was doing school online during covid it was a little bit easier to manage things. But when I went back to campus for my senior year, I really had to learn time management skills. I remember there were some days when I was coming to class straight from Fashion Week, or straight from a photo shoot. At the end of the day, it was tough, but I'm very thankful to have my degree. What would you like to say to your fans? Every single day I truly wake up and pinch myself that I get to do this as my full-time job, and I am so thankful to everyone who has supported me along the way and helped make my dreams a reality. I am full of gratitude always.

MODELISTE MUSE JORDAN BECKHAM How did you begin your career as an influencer? Around 11 years old, my friend introduced me to the app called Musical.ly. I fell in love with it! I would wake up two hours before school—every single day—just to film. I was just a little girl with missing teeth posting music videos from her bedroom for fun. I had no idea it would become what it is today! Over time, I began to grow massively on that platform and then expanded onto other platforms. What can people expect to see when following you on social media? They can expect to see me just being me. I post a lot of family and friend content. I’m always at the beach, going around town and doing shoots for brands and for fun. A highlight and a goal you hope to accomplish in your career? THIS shoot in Curacao was a major highlight for me. Modeling for a magazine in a tropical paradise—it was honestly a dream come true! Another dream and goal of mine is to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated. I would also love to get more into commercial modeling for fashion, fitness and especially swimwear. Top 3 favorite fashion brands? I love the brands that Urban Outfitters and Free People stock! For a higher designer brand- I love Louis Vuitton so much! 3 beauty products you cannot live without? It would have to be mascara, bronzer, and lip gloss! What's something you're looking forward to this summer? This summer will actually mark the one-year anniversary of when I lost my Dad suddenly to Covid. It was the most devastating time of my life—of our lives. Our family is so close. He was our Superman and my hero. He loved keeping my numbers and watching my platform grow. He was truly my biggest fan and the most amazing Dad a girl could ever hope for! I miss him every day. This summer, my family and I will just be together. We’ll do things to honor him. We’ll travel and hopefully get away some. I really want to start exploring more of the world, experiencing new locations, and making memories with my friends and family. That’s what is most important!

Go-to outfit for a summer lunch with the girls? I’m obsessed with a white, short, flowy dress moment. I think it matches the summer vibe perfectly. I like when I feel free in my dresses and can still be myself while wearing it. What's something our Modeliste readers would be surprised to learn about you? I did virtual school from 6th grade to 12th grade! I really enjoyed having extra time with family, friends, sports, and my job. In my time being homeschooled, I learned ASL (American Sign Language)! I loved it so much! Who/What inspires you? My mom inspires me so much. She’s the strongest woman I know. She’s been through so much in her lifetime and still proceeds to impress me every single day. She’s changed not only my life, but many lives around the world. She is a very hard worker, and so talented. I hope to be like her when I get older. I love her so much. At what point did you turn your social media platform into a career? Are there any other careers you'd like to explore in the future? I saw my platform as a career when people started saying that my pages were their ‘escape’. It warms my heart to know that people look forward to seeing my content. I love seeing the impact my videos or my pictures have on peoples’ lives. I also love to connect with my audience and form lasting relationships with them! That means the world to me. As far as other careers…I’d love to do more commercial modeling which, I believe, is right in line with where I am right now. What's your dream collaboration? I would love to work with Louis Vuitton. I’m

obsessed with everything about them. How they believe it’s about the journey, not the destination. How classy and elegant all their pieces are. It would be a dream to be invited to the fashion shows in Paris!

How do you hope to influence people through your social media platforms? I hope to inspire people to run after their dreams and never give up—even when life gets really, really hard. Losing my dad in 2021 was the hardest time of my life. Today, I use it to speak life into people and help them deal with the heaviness of loss and grief. Are you working on any exciting projects you can share? Me, my mom, and my brother are starting a podcast soon! We have already started filming some episodes and are so excited to launch! It’ll be multi-generational so every age group will be able to connect with it. The topics we’ll be hitting on will be very enlightening, helpful and really entertaining too! You've had a social media presence since the age of 12 years old, has your view of social media changed? In what ways and why? My view of social media hasn’t changed too much—I still believe it’s the greatest opportunity in the world for anyone who takes advantage of it! Personally, I would say I’m more in love with it than when I started. Thanks to my amazingly loyal and awesome base of incredible supporters, I’m now getting to showcase more of me and my life, and people are begging to see more of it. I'm so blessed to be accepted for who I am and for what I do on my platforms. It makes my job 10x easier because they love and are interested in my daily life and routine. Where do you see yourself 10 years from now? I see myself married with kids, traveling with my family all over the world and having a successful family YouTube channel! MODELISTE MUSE KAYE BASSEY How did you begin your career as an influencer? I began my career as an influencer while I was studying Business in university. My love for fashion and desire to work in that field started at around 6 years old when I would watch Style by Elsa Klensch. Knowing that I always wanted to work in fashion. While I was studying business, I decided to start a fashion & beauty blog (www.kayebassey. com) to inspire individuals from all walks of life to live as the best version of themselves. This kept me inspired and was such a great creative outlet. As time went on, something that was once a fun hobby turned into what it is today. What can people expect to see when following you on social media? A lot of fashion and beauty, but ultimately, my goal that I am trying to share through social media is to inspire individuals from all walks of life to live and become the best version of themselves. A highlight and a goal you hope to accomplish in your career? A highlight in my career would be the times that I was featured on billboards in Times Square- it’s always such a surreal and special moment to me. So grateful! What's something you're looking forward to this summer? Looking forward to spending more time in my summer wardrobe, hanging with loved ones outside and even more traveling. Usually neutral colors. Or a dress. What's something our Modeliste readers would be surprised to learn about you? My diverse upbringing. The term “third culture kid” describes my upbringing the most. I was born in Canada to Nigerian parents, raised in Czech Republic and Germany. My first time ever coming to America was actually for university. Who/What inspires you? Travel is inspirational to me. I feel recharged and refreshed mentally whenever I get to explore other corners of the world. It is really such a beautiful experience. It is always fascinating to talk and connect with locals – very exciting to experience life through someone else’s lenses. Being around friends, family and loved ones. Also, reading and learning more helps inspire me from within. At what point did you turn your social media platform into a career? Are there any other careers you'd like to explore in the future? I turned it into a career a few years ago. Since I studied business in university, I actually put my education to use for a few years working in Medical Devices. Are you working on any exciting projects you can share? Yes, I am working on some exciting projects! I can’t wait to share but can’t share - just not yet. You have traveled and grown up all over the world, what's your favorite place and why? I can’t decide! Never have been able to pick just one. Berlin will always be a city that I hold closely to my heart. I formed such amazing friendships that have lasted for so many years and have so many amazing memories. You have the glowiest skin, please share your everyday beauty routine. What products have you used that have made a big difference? My philosophy for my skincare is, less is more and quality over quantity. I try to select brands that really take pride in utilizing premium ingredients to create the products. How do you keep up to date with new trends? I don’t stress about keeping up with trends. I just use what I really love and suits my personal style. The fashion industry changes so fast and there are so many trends, but I just like to feel comfortable with what I'm wearing and really share what I love.

When I talk to them it's just me. I try to be as real as possible. Being a creator opens up so many amazing opportunities and improves our lifestyles as well, but at the end we have the same problems as any other person, and I try to show that that’s normal and that’s life and we are not alone. What type of content do you share on your social media platform(s)? I usually share my entire lifestyle on my social platforms, I love fashion so I share my outfits and my style inspo. I love to travel, so I share all my adventures, my travel tips, and all the info of the places I visit so my followers can have important feedback with all details and travel information as well. I share my hobbies such as reading, my favorite books and recommendations. Do you have any tips/tricks for creating engaging content? My most important tip would be: Stay true to yourself, I know it sounds cliche, but nowadays I think a lot of influencers are following the same pattern and it's all the same. When I share something genuine, I love the engagement I receive which is much bigger than when I just follow trends. So when I share something I'm passionate about and that really makes me happy it's so much better. And always keeping it natural. I think people are tired of the “perfect” image, something natural is much more refreshing and valuable. What's your favorite social media platform to use and why? My favorite social media platform to use is Instagram. I think because I have the biggest audience there, and I'm used to sharing everything via stories and photos. I also love to plan my feed and make it a clean and aesthetic feed, love playing with images and colors! I'm starting to love TikTok as well, I think it's easier to get viral content there. What's your favorite fashion trend at the moment? My favorite fashion trend at the moment would be wearing bright colors such as orange, pink, green and blue. I was used to always wearing neutral tones, but I’ve been influenced by the brighter colors of summer!

What are some recent brands you've discovered and loved? Some brands I have recently discovered and loved are Eb Denim for the perfect denim fits. The styles are made from vintage denim so the fit is amazing. I love Source Unknown brands. I think they have different styles from what we see everyday and they are very fashionable. Also loved Closed Official, I think it's very elegant and they have staple pieces for every occasion. And I’ve also loved Revolve since they have so many styles that you can find anything you need for each different occasion. What's a typical day like for you? A typical day in my life would be: Wake up and drink my morning coffee and make some journaling or clean my room. Then I usually work out. After working out I shower and then I take some time to catch up on emails and work. Some days I create some content or have to go to brand events. And later, I usually relax reading a book, hanging out with my boyfriend, or watching a movie before going to sleep. Where do you live and what's a short itinerary you'd recommend for someone visiting? I live in Peru in the capital, Lima. I would recommend so many beautiful places from my country. Something near that I love is Mancora, which is in the North of Peru. It has amazing beaches and it's always sunny, perfect for small vacations and relaxation. It's the perfect getaway to get tanned and have a perfect time. A fun fact people would be surprised to know about you. People must be surprised to know I'm a little anxious with everything. I always seem so relaxed and chill, but for real, I'm a little bit of an over-thinker and need to have everything in control. Go-to beauty routine? My go-to beauty routine would be a good face cream, concealer, bronzer, blush and mascara. Also, I love to apply some lip balm so my lips don't look dry Share the moment you became an established digital media influencer. Did you always know this was what you wanted to do? I can’t remember the exact moment it happened, but I remember feeling overwhelmed because of all the brands that were reaching out to me so we can work together, brands I loved since before I was even known and it seemed like a dream that they were paying me to promote products I’ve been buying my whole life. Watching my photos on the streets and in the stores seemed so unreal.

I remember when Revolve invited me to my first Revolve Festival and I thought, “That’s it, I made it!” Since they were a brand I admire so much, I always thought it would be a dream to attend those trips and getaways with such well known influencers and artists. And here we are! So thankful! What advice do you have for someone who aspires to have a career like your own? I would say be constant and never give up. It doesn’t happen from night to morning. It takes time, creativity, and consistency. I think nowadays there are so many entrepreneurs on social media that are amazing and so talented with what they do. And little by little your talent will be noticed, so just go for it. Last song you played and movie you watched? Last song I played was “Matilda” by Harry Styles. That song calms me so much. And movies …. probably Fast and Furious! What was your favorite part of the Modeliste getaway to Red Frog Beach, Panama? My favorite part of the getaway was meeting new amazing girls that work on social media just like me. It's always refreshing to meet new people and feel inspired by them and by what they do. Each one of them was so talented, I feel so inspired to continue growing as well. We had amazing experiences and conversations I loved. What did you love most about the resort? What I loved most about the resort probably was that it is surrounded by nature. Seriously, it doesn’t seem real. It's like you are in the middle of the jungle but in a luxury home. I loved walking and watching all the monkeys playing on the trees, the rain and all the wildlife sounds. It was a dream. The beach is amazing as well. What did you love about flying on Copa Airlines? The food was amazing and I also felt very comfortable with the staff. They are really kind and helpful. Top 3 travel destinations on your bucket list? 1. Thailand 2. Dubai 3. Any part of Europe. I love it so much. What upcoming projects are you working on? I’m working on some new amazing collaborations soon, many upcoming travels and also on my clothing brand. It follows the real life story of Elizabeth Holmes and the fraud surrounding Theranos. It is a Hulu original and, if you’re as obsessed with the science world as I am, you’ll be hooked!

What's your go-to Showpo outfit for lunch with the girls this summer? I am all about comfort. I love a maxi dress or a cute matching set in a bright color or pattern. They are cute, comfy, and breathable.

What was your favorite part of the Modeliste getaway to Cabo Corazon? I adored meeting and spending time with a group of people I may never have run into in my everyday life. Modeliste places people together and there is nothing more valuable in this life than connection. I loved laughing, shooting content, modeling, and just bonding with the most incredible people. Their team is so warm and inviting that you never want to leave. I’m waiting for my next invite on a trip because it felt like a true family.

What're your favorite stores to shop, in store & online? I have so many favorites. My closet is a mash-up of so many stores. I have everything from Target to Forever 21 to Armani. I love to buy my basic pieces at Urban Outfitters or Uniqlo and then purchase a couple of expensive pieces to match from stores like Gucci or Prada. House of CB is one of my personal favorites for an easy night on the town with a dress that needs no alterations.

What's a fun fact our Modeliste readers would be surprised to know about you? I graduated with a 4.0 in my double major in Biomedical Sciences and Psychology with a minor in Chemistry. I am a HUGE nerd. I collect comic books, LOTR (Lord of the Rings) memorabilia, and I am obsessed with anything STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). Before my introduction to the fashion world, I worked in an immunology lab studying type 1 diabetes.

How did you develop the career you have today? What tips & tricks can you extend to someone aspiring to have a career like your own? Hard work, a great support system, and selfconfidence are key in this industry. I would be nothing without my family and friends backing me all the way. What would you like to say to your fans? It’s always such a surprise to me when people recognize me and come say hi. I love it!! Again, I’m so normal so I love just chatting with people and hearing about their life stories. I once had a young girl stop me in Times Square and she started crying when we took a photo together. She was bullied for having red hair and she told me that I made her feel beautiful because of my red hair. It made my entire year. To my fans… which is still a weird word for me to say because we are all just normal humans trying to navigate life… I say thank you!!! Your support does not go unnoticed. I love you all so much and I am cheering you on in everything you do in life. What would you title this chapter in your life? A Fresh Start. I've had some personal battles I’ve faced in my life - whether that has been relationships, health issues, and the death of my fur baby, Pooh Bear. This is a chapter of navigation and truly understanding who I am and what I stand for. Are you working on any exciting projects you'd like to share? I just starred in my first movie role which I am super excited about. I am excited to continue acting. I am also excited for the launch of my charity “The Nerd Herd” which should be coming later this year. We had so many manufacturing delays due to Covid that I can’t wait till my passion project is actually a reality!! Who and what inspires you? Why? My Mother. Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about how she was 27 when she had me. I am turning 27 later this year and I still feel like a kid trying to figure out adulthood. I really admire her bravery, resilience and kindness.

I didn’t make any money the first year I was doing it, but eventually I built a community and relationship with my audience.

What tips & tricks can you extend to someone aspiring to have a career like your own? I have always done content creation even at a very young age before it was ever a real job. I've always loved styling, photography, and creative direction and loved to express it through myself being the subject of the photo. My mom was always supportive of my creative endeavors and helped me shoot my ideas, this is where the passion began. I eventually moved to Los Angeles at the height of the influencer era and simply decided I was going to be consistent and give it a shot. I ordered clothes from a popular brand at the time when I barely had any money and shot content in the pieces. I tagged them in the post and they loved it so they began posting my content on their page and sending me packages every month. I remember gaining thousands of followers each time they posted me and that was the confirmation I needed to know that I could do this. From there I started posting consistently, working with photographers all of the time, and later begin working with other influencers which helped continue my growth. My tips to anyone trying to get into this profession is that you have to really love what you do. This is a full time job and you have to be your own boss which means no

Who and what inspires you? Why? I am constantly inspired by creatives in a variety of fields. My biggest inspiration for photography is Gregory Crewdson, it was through his work that I became captivated by cinematography and how lighting with surrealism can really stir emotion and spark curiosity. I am also constantly inspired by film, I grew up watching a lot of cult classics that really imprinted on my mind a young age. Traveling is also a great way to stay inspired, not only by the nature and culture but also by the artist native to different lands. Barcelona, for example, introduced to me Antoni Gaudi who I am in complete awe of and that type of inspiration will change the way you see the world. A good book and/or TV show you read/ watched recently? I love a great TV show with great casting, plot, and color grading. My favorites recently (but not limited to) are Stranger Things, Ozark, Skins (all time favorite), Baby, Elite, Bridgerton, Dark, American Horror Story, The Handmaid's Tale, Big Little Lies, Pam and Tommy, Nine Perfect Strangers, and Normal People. A great book I recommend is The Inner Work by Matthew Mitcheletti and Ashley Cottrell and Becoming Super Natural by Dr. Joe Dispenza. What was your favorite part of the Modeliste getaway to Cabo Corazon? My favorite part was the company I was surrounded with. Most people don't understand the world of content creation or think that this new career is easy/not a real job. It was inspiring to be around like minded creators who loved to shoot and capture beauty in different forms just as much as I do. Everyone was so kind and we all were there for each other to support and lift each other up. I made a lot of great friendships with people I can really relate too and I think that is something very special give to all of us by Modeliste.

How do you hope to influence people through your social media platforms? I hope to influence people to be creative, be loud, and not care what anyone thinks of you. When's the last time you cried happy tears? When I got back from my trip to Costa Rica after a really rough break up. I had got invited out by an Animal Sanctuary/Hotel and it was a really incredible experience. I was so happy that I was doing what I love and finally out of the dark hole I had been in for months. Traveling and being surrounded by nature/animals is my biggest passion, to get to do that as a job was such a joyous feeling and reminded me that life gets hard sometimes but everything always works out the way it's supposed to in the end. What's the craziest fan experience you'd ever had? What would you like to say to your fans? Honestly, I don't think I've really experienced anything crazy from fans. I don't even consider people who know me or follow me fans. Everyone has always been really cool and normal to me and that's exactly how I would prefer it. I want to be seen as equal not as some out of reach influencer. I'm very normal and down to earth and people see that when they meet me. What would you title this chapter in your life? Surrender Are you working on any exciting projects you'd like to share? My biggest focus right now is travel content creation. I am my happiest and most alive when I am having new experiences, seeing new things, meeting new people, and exploring new places. To me it is the most inspiring and fulfilling way to do the job I already love.

What’s a fun fact our Modeliste readers would be surprised to know about you? I used to have a thick southern accent and I got rid of it when I moved to LA. I felt that I wouldn't be taken seriously with it so over time I taught myself how to pronounce words differently.

Where are you from and how does it differ from where you live now? After being born and raised in Southern California and graduating high school in Houston, Texas, I relocated to Miami, Florida and haven’t looked back since! Beyond Miami’s perfect blend of ocean and tropical beach vibes, reminiscent of those I grew up with in California, Miami’s ever-present international culture, flare, and influence, and the flow of professional, technological, and economic opportunities provide many residents like myself seemingly unlimited opportunities and makes the city an incredible place to work, socialize, network, and live. If you had to summarize your beauty routine in five steps, what would it be? Step 1: Apply toner (either La Mer The Tonic or Perricone MD No:Rinse Micellar Cleansing Treatment) followed by applying Drunk Elephant C Firma Serum and then a moisturizer. I tend to use either Cerave AM Moisturizing Lotion or Drunk Elephant’s Polypeptide Firming Moisturizer, depending on how dry my skin is, and conclude with Tan Luxe drops to help match my face tan/tone to my body’s. Step 2: Living in Miami, frequently shooting outside in the sun, and traveling to tropical locations makes sunscreen a must! My favorite face sunscreen right now is Elta MD UV Clear SPF 46 Tinted Face Sunscreen. Seriously life changing! If I'm going to Pilates, running errands, or working from home, I typically stop there, as I usually don’t like wearing makeup unless I have to for work or photo shoots. Step 3: For my usual light natural makeup routine, I start with Supergoop! Glow Primer followed by Dior’s Forever Skin Glow Foundation, the Dior Forever Skin Correct Concealer, and Nars’ Bronzer for light contour on cheekbones and jawline and on the crease of my eyelid. Step 4: For my brows, I like to use Anastasia Clear Brow Gel to tame my eyebrows then Nars blush. I am obsessed with Nude Stix Nudies Glow for the perfect summer glow I swipe over my cheekbones and cupids bow. Step 5: I finish with either Dior lip oil or for color I add Nude Stix Nudies Bloom or any of my favorite lipsticks or glosses. What's your go to Showpo outfit for lunch with the girls this summer? Definitely a cute dress or set with fun colorful heels and a colorful bag! Summer 2022 is all about color! What are your favorite stores to shop, in store & online? Ahhhh, where do I even start?? My favorite large retailers right now are probably Net-APorter, Farfetch, Revolve and FWRD, Moda Operandi, Saks, and Intermix. My favorite small/local retailer is Frankie Miami.

How did you develop the career you have today? What tips & tricks can you extend to someone aspiring to have a career like your own? At the end of the day, I’ve found my success lies in my dedication and determination, never taking no for an answer. Go with your gut and follow your heart always! In regards to careers, make sure you do what you love, as the work you put in usually directly correlates with what you’ll get out. Being independent/selfemployed, means you are your only boss and you need to push yourself because no one else will. Stay focused and disciplined. Stay focused on your independent journey/lane, don’t spend time comparing, and focus on you and your goals. Everybody’s path, timing, etc. is different. Take care of and support your fellow friends, entrepreneurs, and creators. Who and what inspires you? Why? My family and friends inspire me constantly. I’m very fortunate that I have many people in my life who are always reminding me what dedication, commitment, and a great work ethic looks like. I am endlessly inspired by nature, travel, music, adventure, and good vibes which fuels my creativity and the content I create! A good book and/or TV show you read/ watched recently? Book-wise, I just finished The Seven Husbands of Evelen Hugo and WOW, it’s the best book I have read in a while! I highly recommend it. In terms of TV, Physical on Apple TV is back with season two and I love how it highlights a female and her business. It’s super funny and relatable! What was your favorite part of the Modeliste getaway to Cabo Corazon? My favorite part of the trip was definitely all the new friends I made! I feel like I made lifelong friends from this trip and loved being able to connect with people who all have similar passions, are so creative and talented, and I loved learning from them. I am so happy and grateful I was invited on the getaway, thank you so much Modeliste! What's a fun fact our Modeliste readers would be surprised to know about you? Although my social media doesn't really show it, people who know me say I am really funny and I am super easy to make fun of, as I am so extra sometimes it's comical. Likewise, I’m very energetic, am easily approachable, and very easy to talk to. I have super open ears and I am always open to listen! How do you hope to influence people through your social media platforms? Both through socials and throughout my dayto-day life, I really hope and aim to spread love, kindness, and positivity through my life and platforms. I am a big advocate for spreading joy, empathy, and love wherever you go because you never know what someone is going through and how much a smile or compliment can do for another person. I hope I can help influence and aspire to contribute to a generation of love and kindness.

When's the last time you cried happy tears? At the launch of my swimwear capsule collection event with Cristalina and Capittana. I spent countless hours and many months developing the project from its (conceptual) ideation in Italy last summer to the designs and samples to finally shooting the campaign and hosting the launch event. It was such a joyous feeling of finally seeing a dream and vision come alive. And seeing all my friends and supporters wearing my bikinis was surreal! I’m very grateful for all who purchased! What's the craziest fan experience you'd ever had? What would you like to say to your fans? Where do I even start? My fans and supporters mean everything to me and are a massive part of the reason I am able to experience incredible opportunities like talking with Modeliste today. I have had flowers and gifts sent to my office from fans which I love and it is super sweet. But the experience that stands out to me the most is probably when I was in Europe last summer and this group of teen girls who follow me spotted me in the airport in Spain. They asked for photos and then asked me to sign a few of their things. It was such a cool experience because I realized how international my community is and to meet them and talk to them was so fun! I love meeting fans in person! I would be nothing without the community we have built together and I am so thankful for all of you! One piece of advice I would give to all of my fans would be, you can be ANYTHING your heart desires! Don’t listen to anyone that tells you otherwise. Also, the middle and high school bullies are not forever, so just keep being YOU! What would you title this chapter in your life? Growth: I feel like this chapter in my life is all about growth, learning, and hard work. I have learned so much both in business and personally since moving to Miami in 2018, and I can't wait to see where this chapter in my life takes me! Are you working on any exciting projects you'd like to share? So many new and exciting things are happening in the next few months! Some of the things I can share currently include: I’m super excited to finally start posting on YouTube, as I really hope this will be a better way to engage with my supporters and community and better allow them to get to know me on a more personal level. I really hope to showcase more of who I am, my day to day life and travel, and various cool experiences I’m very fortunate to have. My team and I are also working on a big revamping and rebranding on all of my platforms, as well as the reintroduction of my old blog Vogue and Vegetables. It will include everything from lifestyle to fashion edits to healthy food and recipes, and so much more. Who and what inspires you? Why? So many things inspire me daily! Fashion, art, film, and music to name a few. When I’m feeling uninspired, I like to indulge in different types of art forms. Whether it’s going to a museum or watching an old film. I love being able to see things with a different perspective.

Both cities are culturally different in so many ways, but they’re both the same in terms of the hustle and bustle. The weather in Manila could also be brutal at times as it tends to get really hot and humid, whereas LA weather is mostly nice and warm throughout the year! If you had to summarize your beauty routine in five steps, what would it be? St. Georges is the capital of Grenada. The town is surrounded by a hillside of an old volcano crater and is located on a horseshoe-shaped harbor. St. George's is a popular Caribbean tourist destination. The town has developed in recent years while preserving its history, culture, and natural environment. The parish in which Saint George's is located is the home of St. George’s University School of Medicine and Maurice Bishop International Airport. The main exports are cocoa bean (cacao), nutmeg, and mace spice. It has a moderate tropical climate that ensures the success of spice production. Nutmeg is a key crop, followed by spices such as cocoa, mace, cloves, vanilla, cinnamon and ginger.

Prickly Bay Marina, part of the Prickly Bay Waterside family is located at 12.00 North, 61,45 West, in the heart of the wide and deep waters of Prickly Bay. Prickly Bay Marina hosts on its premises Custom, Immigrations and Health Officers in order for vessels to clear in and out seven days a week. Agency services for Clearance assistance is also available, just call the office. The office is manned by friendly staff and the Marina Manager is a semi-retired Captain that fully understands a mariner’s problems and requests.

GRAND ANSE BEACH

A silky stretch of sheltered white sand where visitors and locals enjoy the view of the capital, this world famous beach spans two miles/three kilometers along the southwest coastline. Nearby water sport specialists, hotels, restaurants and a Vendors Market which offers a variety of services and local products.

THE CARENAGE

A scenic inlet, the Carenage is a great place for a stroll along the water’s edge, taking in the colorful fishing boats and the bustle of supplies being loaded for other islands. At the north end, some of the sturdy Georgian buildings overlooking the water have been restored. The Carenage has also provided refuge for sailors and their prized vessels for more than 300 years. All manner and size of boats from all over the world can routinely be found here bobbing safely astride charming and colorful colonial-era buildings.

GRAND ETANG LAKE & FOREST PRESERVE

The most popular areas in Grenada for hiking and trekking is undoubtedly the rainforest around the Grand Etang Forest Reserve, high up in the mountains of the island’s interior. Grand Etang’s varied elevations and terrains maintain several different ecological subsystems, culminating in the elfin woodlands high up the slopes of the reserve’s central mountains. Grand Etang’s flora includes towering mahogany and giant gommier trees as well as a multitude of ferns, tropical flowers, and other indigenous plants. The lush vegetation provides shelter for a wide variety of animals, particularly for the island’s many species of birds. The broad winged hawk (known here as the gree-gree), Lesser Antillean swift, Antillean euphonia, purple throated carib, Antillean crested hummingbird (known as the Doctor Bird) and the Lesser Antillean tanager (known as the soursop) are all common sights. In addition, Grand Etang is populated by plenty of frogs and lizards, as well as playing host to opossums, armadillos, mongoose, and the Mona monkey. Hikes at Grand Etang range from easy 15 minute jaunts to rigorous expeditions of several hours. The trails are quite good, and the Forest Reserve provides excellent guides (both written and human).

ANNANDALE FALLS

Just a short drive from the capital, Annandale Falls are enclosed in a garden of green and a wall of rocks covered in soft ferns and other vegetation. A dip is most invigorating. Or simply revel in the beauty and sounds of the falls. Spend time in the surrounding gardens where tropical flowers and trees flourish and visit the Interpretation Centre.
