Bowling
Under the direction of Bro. Andrew Oravets, and Bro. Robert Flaherty, the bowlers ¡ended a successful season at Kenwood Lanes in March. The league consisted of twenty teams, 'lind handicap rules applied so that each team had"'lin equal chance of winning. Many two-hundred games were rolled by the Moeller bowlers, among them are two each by Jim Eveslage and Jim Kern. Secretary Ron Loewenstein reports that league standings are not available at the moment.

Cross Country

Coached by Mr.. Puthoff, the Moeller cross country teams finished a successful s~ason. The varsity made an excellent showing ¡¡to finish third in the G.C..L. Cross Country Me~t'-lt,eld at the end of the season. The freshmen were even more successful, finishing first in the G.C.L. Meet. Unfortunately the reserves were not able to participate in the meet.

This year Moeller's golf team¡ had a respectable record of twelve wins and ten losses against competition from this area. Led by 'Bob Schlunt, Moeller placed sixth out of twenty teams in the district tournamerit.beld at the end of the season. Bob shot a seventyone on the Ca1ifornia Country Club Course to become the runner-up medalist in the tournament.

Under the direction of Mr. Strayer and a fine staff of coaches, Moeller's track team finished a successful season. After a slow start ' and the loss of the first two dual meets, Moeller rallied to win the next two, giving the team art' even record for the season. In tria~gular meets Moeller did exceptionally well. Moeller gained two first place finishes and one third in three meets. In the G.C.L. meet Moeller finished sixth out of seven teams.

Moeller's wrestling team, coached by Mr. Morrissey and Mr. Ecker, finished the season with an excellent record of eleven wins and three losses. Competition i1,1cluded both public and Catholic schools in this area. Moeller's wrestling team participated in the Southwestern Wrestling Conference路 this year. While compiling a record of six wins and two losses in conference matches, Moeller gained third place in the nine-team conference. The Southwestern Conference gave honorable mention awards to Haidle, Scheadler, McDonough, Koegel, Huelsman, Backh~s, and Wene for their outstanding wrestling ability. In non-conference competition, Moeller compiled a record of five wins and one loss. Moeller also finished in third place out of fourteen teams in the sectional tournament. The following five wrestlers qualified for the district meet: Haidle, Scheadler, Koegel, Huelsman, and Wene.
