Welcome to Moeller Summer Camps
There are a few things you need to know about sports camps: No need to bring a basketball, baseball or any athletic equipment not mentioned in the individual camp information. What your camper will need will be provided by the camp unless otherwise mentioned. All campers enrolled in day-long camps MUST provide their own lunch. All campers MUST provide their own water bottle. Water bottles – Campers are permitted to bring water bottles at all camps. Please have your campers name on his bottle. Disposable bottles are best. Trainer – There will be a certified trainer present at camp each day. Clothing – Hats, watches and jewelry are discouraged. Camper should wear t-shirt, shorts and sports shoes. Basketball camp: Basketball Shoes Baseball and Football camps: Turf Shoes.

Baseball Camp / June 21-24 / Grades 3-8 Play baseball the Moeller way! All of the fundamentals will be taught – hitting, pitching, catching, throwing, base running, infield and outfield play. Games will be played as well. Baseball camp is conducted by Moeller coaches, assisted by current and former Moeller baseball players. Please bring a baseball glove, bat and helmet, but leave your baseball at home, we have plenty! Baseball Mini Camp / June 7-8 Incoming Moeller Freshmen This camp is designed to introduce incoming Moeller freshmen to Moeller baseball. The camp will concentrate on the skills that will be needed at the freshman level. Basketball Summer League / June 14-17 and June 21-23 Grades 8 & 9 This league will give eighth graders and freshmen the opportunity to play under the guidance of Moeller coaches. No practice – just games. All participants will be placed on a team and will be guaranteed seven games. Each participant will receive a reversible jersey. $100 Monday–Friday (limit 100) Game time 3:30-4:30pm and 4:30-5:30pm Game schedule will be emailed by coach Doug Horst. Basketball Mini Camp / June 11- 12 Incoming Moeller Freshmen This camp introduces incoming Moeller freshmen to Moeller basketball. Basketball Camp This camp will teach the fundamentals of basketball, teamwork and good sportsmanship through various games and competitions. Instruction is provided by Moeller coaches and basketball players. No need to bring a basketball, they are provided at camp. All participants will receive a camp basketball and t-shirt. Football Camp / July 12-15 / Grades 2–8 This four-day camp will introduce your son to lessons, techniques and football fundamentals being taught at Moeller High School. Ice Hockey Camp / August 6-8 / Grades 1-8 The mission of the Crusader ice hockey camp is to teach good sportsmanship, teamwork and good hockey habits. All drills and games will be geared toward hockey fundamentals. Instruction provided by the Moeller coaching staff and current and former players. Lacrosse Player Instructional Camp / July 19-21 / Grades 3-5 Learn lacrosse from the Men of Moeller. We teach all of the fundamentals of the game, individual position skills and team concepts. The camp is designed to teach beginners as well as experienced players. Campers will be instructed by current and past Moeller lacrosse players as well as Moeller coaches. Junior Crusader Lacrosse / July 19-21/ Grades 3-9 This camp is for the Junior Crusader Lacrosse Club participants. The focus is to teach fundamentals, along with position-specific drills and training. Campers will be coached by former Junior Crusaders, current players, and Moeller lacrosse staff. All participants must provide their own equipment. $100 Monday–Thursday 6:30-8:00pm
Soccer Camp / July 26-29 / Grades 3-7 Moeller soccer camp will introduce your son on how to play soccer the Moeller way! We will work on developing skills and include lots of drills and game strategies. Soccer Camp / July 26-29 / Grades 8-12 Moeller Soccer is excited to announce a strategic partnership with Echelon Talent to run our 2021 Moeller soccer camp. Led by Tony Awor (DA director, former academy coach at Chelsea FC in England, former New England Revs DA coach), the Echelon Talent team of coaches strive to create a learning environment for players of all backgrounds to reach the highest echelon of talent. Volleyball Camp / July 26-29 / Grades 3-9 Whether your son is a novice athlete looking to try volleyball or a player with experience, this camp is for him. Skill instruction will include serving, passing, setting, defense, and attacking. Cheer Camp / July 25 Kindergarten- Grade 8 Come join our Moeller cheerleaders and learn how to cheer on the blue and gold! We will be teaching cheers, chants, and dance, along with the fundamentals of cheer leading. All cheerleaders welcome- beginners to advanced! Performance for parents at 1:30 pm. Be sure to pack your lunch and bring a water bottle. Campers will also be part of“Little Moe Cheer Night” – cheer the first quarter of a Moeller game! Wrestling Camp / July 26-29 / Grades 1-9 The Moeller wrestling camp will help both experienced and novice wrestlers improve their fundamental skills and techniques. Campers will be exposed to the system of wrestling that has launched Moeller to consistent top-state rankings and five national rankings. Fun and Games / August 2-5 / Grades K-4 A variety of sports and games will be played during the week, including whiffle ball, kickball, soccer, basketball, t-ball, volleyball (beach ball), and other playground games. Campers will be encouraged to develop their coordination, balance, and sportsmanship skills. $185 Monday–Thursday 9:00am-2:00pm Pack a lunch. Drinks will be provided. FUNdamentals / July 19-22 / Grades 2-6 Moeller coaches and student assistants will introduce fundamental skills in the following sports: baseball, basketball, football, lacrosse, soccer, volleyball, and wrestling. Campers will be placed in groups by grade level and groups will stay together as they rotate stations throughout the day. All groups will visit each of the seven sports stations every day for instruction and games. All participants will receive a t-shirt. $155 Monday–Thursday 9:00am-2:00pm Pack a lunch. Chemistry Camp / June 7-10 / Grades 7-8
The chemistry camp students will learn about topics in chemistry by completing a number of hands-on activities and labs. Students will study density, concentration, physical and chemical changes, the gas laws, freezing point depression and the periodic table. Coding / June 21-24 / Grades 6-9 This camp is all about coding and learning essential programming concepts. Campers will be exposed to a wide range of coding fundamentals which include game design and programming through art, music, and math. This camp is for beginners and intended to expose students to coding who have no or limited coding experience. $110 Enroll in coding and robotics for a reduced price of $175. Robotics / June 21-24 / Grades 6-9 This is an opportunity to explore your creativity in designing, building, and working with robots. Summer Music Experience / June 7-11 / Grades 5-8 This camp is open to boys and girls who have at least one year of band or private music lesson experience. Working side by side with members and staff of the Moeller/MND Band, students will prepare musical selections (both current and traditional) while learning tips, tricks, and techniques that will help them become better musicians. They’ll learn to work as a team, discover how to practice like professionals, use state-of-the-art technology, and put on a great show on Friday afternoon. Woodwind, brass, string, piano, and percussion players are all welcome. $110 Enroll in the summer music experience and color guard for $175. Color Guard / June 7-11 / Grades 5-8 Students learn what it takes to be a member of the Moeller Color Guard, and the Moeller Winter Guard. Focus will be on dance, flag work, and body movement, but other equipment and techniques will be covered. Do something fun and DIFFERENT. Debate / June 21-24 / Grades 6-9
Debate Camp will give 6th to 9th graders the opportunity to hone their skills as arguers, listeners and speakers. They will engage in formal and informal debates that will be taught and judged by Moeller’s coach and team members. High School Placement Test Prep Camp
This camp works to strengthen test-taking skills, master time management strategies, motivate and build self-confidence. It will also show what to expect on that test day.
