Two boys are elected from the offensive team and two from the defensive team. Once again we are very fortunate to have four outstanding leaders chosen by their teammates to carry on the leadership necessarY to have winning football.
HISTORY OF FOOTBALL AT MOELLER HIGH SCHOOL Moeller is goin~ into its fourth year of varsity football w1th 27 wins and 3 losses. Playing in the tough Greater Cincinnati League and having played outstanding outside opponents, this makes the record even more spectacular. In 1963, Moeller fielded its first senior team. That season Moeller won 9 games while only losing 1. During that season the Crusaders racked up 355 points while only allowing 65. This outstanding record brought the crusaders the runner-up in the GCL plus a state ranking of 17th in the A. P. poll. In 1964 the Crusaders won 8 while losing 2. That year the Crusaders scored 200 points offensively and had 97 points scored a~ainst them, and once again were runners-up 1n the league with Bacon and Elder in a tie for the championship. In 1965 Moeller won 10 games, and lost none. The Crusaders scored 226 points while holding the opponents to 33. That year the team won the GCL and was ranked 3rd in the state. Moeller has been very proud of its past record and hopes that it can continue to improve. Moeller is also very proud of its academic achievements in the past 3 years as well as its well-rounded athletic program, offering 8 other varsity sports.
