Summer Camps – 2022 Athletic Camps Baseball Camp Monday, June 20 - Thursday, June 23 $110 Limit 140 campers per session Session 1: Grades 6-8; 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Session 2: Grades 3-5; 1-4 pm This camp will cover all of the fundamentals of baseball – hitting, pitching, catching, throwing, base running as well as infield and outfield play. Games are also part of the daily schedule. Baseball Camp instruction is provided by Moeller coaches assisted by current and former Moeller baseball players. Please bring a baseball glove, bat and helmet. Campers can leave their baseballs at home! 3rd graders who register for both Baseball Camp/Session 2 and Basketball Camp/Session 3 are permitted to remain at Moeller for lunch under the guidance of camp counselors and will be escorted from Basketball Camp to lunch to Baseball Camp. Lunch must be provided by the camper. Contact: Coach Tim Held at THeld@Moeller.org Baseball Mini Camp Incoming Moeller Freshman Monday, June 13 - Tuesday, June 14; 12:30-3:30 p.m. Moeller Athletic Complex in Miamiville $50 This camp is designed to introduce incoming Moeller Freshman to Moeller baseball. The camp will concentrate on the skills needed at the freshman level. Please note that this camp will take place at the new Moeller Athletic Complex in Miamiville. Contact: Coach Tim Held at THeld@Moeller.org Basketball Mini Camp Incoming Moeller Freshman Monday, June 20 - Thursday, June 23; 1-3 p.m. $80 This camp introduces Moeller basketball to incoming Moeller freshman. Basketball Camp Session 1: Grades 4-6 Monday, June 6 – Thursday, June 9; 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. $195 Limit 200 campers Session 2: Grades 6-8 Monday, June 13 – Thursday, June 16, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. $195 Limit 200 campers Session 3: Grades 2-3 Monday, June 20 – Thursday, June 23, 9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. $100 Limit 60 campers This camp will teach the fundamentals of basketball, teamwork and good sportsmanship through various skill sessions, competitions and games. Basketball Camp instruction is provided by Moeller coaches assisted by current and former Moeller basketball players. Campers can leave their basketballs at home! Each participant will receive a basketball and camp t-shirt. 3rd graders who register for both Basketball Camp/Session 3 and Baseball Camp/Session 2 are permitted to remain at Moeller for lunch under the guidance of camp counselors and will be escorted from Basketball Camp to lunch to Baseball Camp. Contact: Kate George at MoellerCamps@Moeller.org Basketball Summer League Grades 8-9 Monday, May 30 – Thursday, June 2; Monday June 6 – Thursday, June 9 Game times are 3:30-4:30 p.m. and 4:30-5:30 p.m. (Game schedules to be emailed) $100 Limit 100 campers This league will give 8th and 9th graders the opportunity to play under the guidance of Moeller coaches. No practices; just games. Participants are placed on teams and are guaranteed seven games. Rosters and game schedules will be emailed prior to the start of the league. Football Camp Monday, July 11 – Thursday, July 14 $155 Session I: Grades 2-5; 1-3:30 p.m. Session II: Grades 6-8; 4-6:30 p.m. This camp will teach football fundamentals. Campers will be introduced to play within several position groups and will participate in various competitions. Football Camp instruction is provided by Moeller coaches assisted by current and former Moeller football players. Campers can leave their footballs at home! Contact: Coach Mark Elder at MElder@Moeller.org Fun and Games Grades K-4 Monday, July 18 – Thursday, July 21; 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. $195 (Lunch is included) This camp will teach the fundamentals of a variety of sports and playground games including whiffle ball, kickball, soccer, basketball, T-ball and volleyball (beach ball). Campers will be encouraged to develop their coordination, balance and sportsmanship skills. Fun and Games instruction is provided by Moeller staff assisted by current Moeller students. This camp includes an all-you-can-eat lunch provided by SAGE Dining, Moeller’s food service program. The peanutfree and allergen-friendly menu will include a variety of options, such as deli sandwiches, fruit, pasta and pizza. Menu details will be released prior to camp start. Contact: Josh Wellen at JWellen@Moeller.org FUNdamentals Grades 2-6 Monday, Aug. 1 – Thursday, Aug. 4; 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. $175 (Lunch is included) This camp will teach the fundamentals of a variety of sports including baseball, basketball, football, lacrosse, soccer, volleyball and wrestling. Campers will be placed in groups by grade level and will stay in this group as they rotate stations throughout the day. Each group will visit each of the seven sport stations every day for instruction and games. This camp includes an all-you-can-eat lunch provided by SAGE Dining, Moeller’s food service program. Ice Hockey Camp Grades 1-8, Boys and Girls Friday, Aug. 5, 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, 4-5:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, 4-5:30 p.m. Northland Ice Center $150 Limit 50 campers This co-ed camp will teach the fundamentals of hockey, teamwork and good sportsmanship through drills and competition. Hockey Camp instruction is provided by Moeller coaches assisted by current and former Moeller hockey players. Contact: Coach Gibson at MoeHockeyCoachGibson@gmail.com Lacrosse Camp Monday, June 27 – Thursday, June 30 Session I: Grades 7-8; 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. $110 Session II: Grades 3-6; 6-8 p.m. $100 This camp will teach the fundamentals of lacrosse, including individual position skills and team concepts. Beginners and experienced players are welcome! Lacrosse Camp instruction is provided by Moeller coaches assisted by current and former Moeller lacrosse players. Participants must bring their own equipment. Contact: Coach Mark Lynch at MLynch@Moeller.org Soccer Camp Monday, July 25 – Thursday, July 28 Limit 90 campers per session Session I: Grades 3-7; 8-9:30 a.m. $95 This camp will teach the fundamentals of soccer through drills and competition. Soccer Camp instruction is provided by Moeller coaches assisted by current and former Moeller soccer players. Session II: Grade 8 and Moeller students 9-12; 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. $115 Once again, Moeller Soccer is excited to partner with Echelon Talent to host the Summer 2022 Moeller Soccer Camp. Led by Tony Awor (DA director, former academy coach at Chelsea FC in England & former New England Rev Coach), the Echelon Talent coaches strive to create a learning environment for players of all experience levels to reach the highest echelon of talent. Volleyball Camp $110 Limit 60 campers per session Session 1: Grades 3-5 Monday, July 11 – Thursday, July 14, 4:30-7:30 p.m. Session 2: Grades 6-8 Monday, July 18 – Thursday, July 21, 4:30-7:30 p.m. Session 3: Incoming Moeller Freshman Monday, July 25 – Thursday, July 28, 4:30-7:30 p.m. This camp will cover the fundamentals of volleyball including serving, passing, setting, attacking and blocking. The camp will also teach team offensive rotations, serve receive and defense. The week will conclude with a camp tournament. Academic Camps

Contact: Kate George at MoellerCamps@Moeller.org Art Camp Monday, June 13 – Thursday, June 16 $110 Session I: Grades 6-8, Boys and Girls, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Art Camp: Makin’ Zines will submerse campers in creative brain candy and creating characters for narrative illustration. Over four days of camp, participants will make zines (mini art themed books) using sketchbooks to make creative brain-candy inspired pages and art cards with mixed media materials. Visual journals pages and zines are great ways to engage students in long-term and short-term topical/ theme-based work. Campers will construct a variety of works culminating in a student-designed exhibition on the final day of camp when all are welcome to join us for the final hour. Art Camp instruction is provided by Moeller faculty. Session II: Grades 3-5, Boys and Girls, 1-3 p.m. Art Camp: Creatures and Creativity Camp encourages campers to work with a variety of materials to create a multitude of works designed to cultivate and encourage personal creativity, independence and confidence. Participants will construct a variety of works culminating in a student-designed exhibition on the final day of camp when all are welcome to join us for the final hour. Art Camp instruction is provided by Moeller faculty. Chemistry Camp Grades 7-8, Boys and Girls Monday, June 6 – Thursday, June 9; 9-11:30 a.m. $110 (Enroll in Chemistry and Engineering for a reduced price of $175) Limit 20 campers This co-ed camp will teach chemistry through numerous hands-on activities and labs. Participants will study density, concentration, gas laws, freezing point depression and the periodic table as well as physical and chemical changes. Please note that labs and demonstrations will be new from last year. Campers who register for both Chemistry and Engineering are permitted to remain at Moeller for lunch under the guidance of camp counselors and will be escorted from Chemistry Camp to lunch to Engineering Camp. Engineering Camp Grades 7-8, Boys and Girls Monday, June 6 - Thursday, June 9; 12:30-3 p.m. $110 (Enroll in Chemistry and Engineering for a reduced price of $175) Limit 20 campers This co-ed camp will teach the fundamentals of engineering through a variety of hands-on activities and projects. Campers who register for both Chemistry and Engineering are permitted to remain at Moeller for lunch under the guidance of camp counselors and will be escorted from Chemistry Camp to lunch to Engineering Camp. Lunch must be provided by the camper. Robotics Camp Grades 6-8, Boys and Girls Monday, June 20 – Thursday, June 23; 9-11:30 a.m. $110 (Enroll in Coding and Robotics for a reduced price of $175) Limit 28 campers This co-ed camp encourages participants to explore their creativity in designing, building and working with robots. The inquiry-driven approach allows everyone to have fun in exploring robotics, whether new or well experienced in these field of study. Campers who register for both Robotics and Coding are permitted to remain at Moeller for lunch under the guidance of camp counselors and will be escorted from Robotics Camp to lunch to Coding Camp. Lunch must be provided by the camper. Coding Camp Grades 6-8, Boys and Girls Monday, June 20 – Thursday, June 23; 12:30-3 p.m. $110 (Enroll in Coding and Robotics for a reduced price of $175) Limit 24 campers This co-ed camp will teach essential coding concepts including game design though art, music and math. This camp is for beginners and intended to introduce students to the fundamentals of coding. Campers who register for both Robotics and Coding are permitted to remain at Moeller for lunch under the guidance of camp counselors and will be escorted from Robotics Camp to lunch to Coding Camp. Lunch must be provided by the camper.

Color Guard Camp Grades 5-8, Boys and Girls Monday, June 13 – Friday, June 17; 9-11:30 a.m. $110 (Enroll in Color Guard Camp and Summer Music Experience for a reduced price of $175) Limit 20 campers This co-ed camp gives participants a look into what it takes to be a member of the Moeller Color Guard and the Moeller Winter Guard with a special focus on dance, flag work, and body movement. Working alongside staff and members of the Moeller/MND Band, campers will work with the traditional equipment of color guard – flags, rifles, and sabers. Never done guard before? No problem! Try something different! The week will culminate with a performance open to families on Friday morning. Campers who register for both Color Guard and Summer Music Experience are permitted to remain at Moeller for lunch under the guidance of camp counselors and will be escorted from Color Guard Camp to lunch to Summer Music Experience Camp. Lunch must be provided by the camper. Summer Music Experience Grades 5-8, Boys and Girls Monday, June 13 – Friday, June 17; 12:30-3 p.m. $110 (Enroll in Color Guard Camp and Summer Music Experience for a reduced price of $175) Limit 30 campers This camp is open to boys and girls who have at least one year of band or private music lesson experience. Woodwind, brass, string, piano and percussion player are all welcome! Working alongside staff and members of the Moeller/MND Band, campers will prepare musical selections (both current and traditional) while learning techniques that will push them to become better musicians. Participants will work as a team, practice like professionals and use state-of-the-art technology. The week will culminate with a performance open to families on Friday afternoon. Campers who register for both Color Guard and Summer Music Experience are permitted to remain at Moeller for lunch under the guidance of camp counselors and will be escorted from Color Guard Camp to lunch to Summer Music Experience Camp. Lunch must be provided by the camper. Speech and Debate Camp Monday, June 20 – Thursday, June 23; 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. $110 Limit 15 campers This camp will give participants the opportunity to hone their skills as arguers, listeners and speakers. Campers can expect to learn the parts of argument, ways to rebut an opponent and research skills for debate. The group will engage in formal and informal debates that will be guided and judged by Moeller’s Speech and Debate coach and team members.

Man of Moeller Leadership Camp Grades 6-8 Monday, Aug. 8 – Thursday, Aug. 11; 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. $110 This camp will introduce vital leadership skills and traits the Moeller Way! A variety of speakers and activities will teach participants how to become Remarkable leaders in mind, body and spirit. High School Placement Test Prep Camp Grade 8 $130 Session I: Monday, July 25 – Friday, July 29 8:30-10 a.m. OR 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. Session II: Monday, Aug. 1 – Friday, Aug. 5 8:30-10 a.m. OR 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. This camp works to strengthen test-taking skills, master time management strategies, motivate and build selfconfidence. Participants will learn what to expect on HSPT test day. All students in each session will report on the Friday of their camp week at 8:30 a.m. for the HSPT practice test. Each student will need to purchase a test prep book and complete a practice test prior to camp. Our faculty will release the book title and instructions for the practice test this spring.
